Veterans Affairs Rescinds Memo Banning V-J Day Kiss Photo

The Department of Veterans Affairs says it is not banning the use of the famous World War II photo showing a sailor kissing a woman in white after an internal memo directed otherwise.

The famous “V-J Day” photo shows a U.S. Navy sailor kissing a total stranger in Times Square in the immediate aftermath of the news that Japan had surrendered.

The memo last month from RimaAnn Nelson, the Veterans Health Administration’s top operations official directed VA medical facilities to “promptly” remove the photo and replace it with something more appropriate

“The photograph, which depicts a non-consensual act, is inconsistent with the VA’s no-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and assault,” the memo stated.

“To foster a more trauma-informed environment that promotes the psychological safety of our employees and the veterans we serve, photographs depicting the ‘V-J Day in Times Square’ should be removed from all Veterans Health Administration facilities,” the memo directed. Former NBA Player Threatens to Assault Black Trump Supporters

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has sparked controversy after threatening physical violence against black supporters of former President Donald Trump. In a recent segment with CNN’s Gayle King, Barkley expressed his strong disapproval of Trump’s comments regarding his mugshot becoming popular among some black individuals.

During Trump’s speech in Columbia, South Carolina, where he mentioned the popularity of his mugshot among black supporters, Barkley voiced his outrage on CNN. Trump remarked, “You know who embraced more than anybody else? The Black population. It’s incredible. You see Black people walking around with my mugshot – you know they do shirts.”

In response to these comments, Barkley issued a threatening statement on air. “First of all, I’m just gonna say this,” he declared. “If I see a Black person walking around with a Trump mugshot, I’m gonna punch him in the face.” He further emphasized the sincerity of his threat, stating, “Oh, I mean that sincerely!”

Barkley continued, asserting that he wouldn’t mind facing legal consequences for assaulting a black Trump supporter. “I’m gonna bail myself out and go celebrate,” he boldly told King.

Supreme Court Unanimously Affirms Federal Authority: States Cannot Bar Trump from 2024 Ballot

In a historic decision, the United States Supreme Court unanimously ruled on Monday that states do not have the authority to disqualify former President Donald Trump from appearing on the 2024 ballot. The landmark ruling overturns a 4-3 opinion from the Colorado Supreme Court, which had held that the Fourteenth Amendment’s “Insurrection Clause” prohibited Trump from featuring on the presidential ballot in the state.

The Supreme Court’s decision marks the first time it has ruled on Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. The Court emphasized that only Congress possesses the authority to disqualify a candidate from the ballot through the Insurrection Clause. This ruling overturns the December opinion from the Colorado Supreme Court and partially reverses a previous decision from November, which concluded that Trump does not meet the definition of an officer of the United States under the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Court’s written opinion highlighted the historical context of the Fourteenth Amendment, emphasizing its role in expanding federal power at the expense of state autonomy. The decision underscored that Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment operates by imposing severe penalties, such as disqualification from holding various offices, and affirmed that Congress is empowered to determine the specifics of these determinations.

Chief Justice Chase’s conclusion was cited in the opinion, stating that proceedings, evidence, decisions, and enforcement, formal or otherwise, are indispensable for ascertaining the individuals covered by Section 3. The Court further acknowledged that Congress, through the Enforcement Act of 1870, already provided a mechanism for making these determinations.

Importantly, the Court clarified that while states have the authority to disqualify individuals from holding or attempting to hold state offices, they lack the constitutional power to enforce Section 3 with regard to federal offices, particularly the Presidency. Granting states such authority, the Court argued, would upset the constitutional balance between federal and state power established by the Fourteenth Amendment.

Justice Barrett, while concurring in the judgment, expressed that the majority had decided more than necessary, but emphasized that all nine Justices agreed on the outcome of the case. Liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson filed a separate opinion concurring in the judgment, asserting that no state has the authority to disqualify a federal candidate from the ballot.

Following the ruling, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social, a social media platform, to declare the decision a “BIG WIN FOR AMERICA!!!” The case, titled Trump v. Anderson, No. 23-719, will undoubtedly shape discussions around the intersection of state and federal powers in the electoral process.

Shocking Revelation: 25% of Vaxxed Reportedly Affected by VAIDS, Study Finds

A group of scientists from Cambridge University in England has unveiled a startling discovery regarding the impact of Covid mRNA shots on the human immune system. According to a bombshell study conducted by these top scientists, 25 percent of individuals vaccinated with Covid mRNA shots now exhibit symptoms consistent with Vaccine-Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (VAIDS).

The study delves into the unintended consequences of the Covid mRNA injections, revealing that one in four recipients suffered from what the scientists term an “unintended immune response.” Despite attributing the damage to a “glitch” or “unintended” response, experts have long expressed concerns about potential adverse effects on the immune systems of those receiving these vaccinations.

Slay News, among other outlets, has been consistently reporting on such findings, shedding light on the ongoing discourse surrounding the safety and efficacy of Covid mRNA shots.

The UK Telegraph reports the Cambridge scientists’ discovery that the vaccines were not flawless and sometimes led to the production of “nonsense proteins” instead of the desired Covid ‘spike.’ This spike is intended to mimic infection and stimulate antibody production. The study further highlights that a minor tweak to uridine, a component of the mRNA code, caused complications, with the protein-making machinery in the body struggling with the uridine analogs.

The scientists shared their findings with the medicines regulator MHRA approximately a year ago. Consequently, updated vaccines incorporating the improved form of mRNA are reportedly in development for applications in cancer jabs and other therapeutics.

The alarm over the VAIDS “glitch” was first raised by the scientists in December, as reported by various sources. The study’s revelations have sparked renewed concerns over the long-term implications of Covid mRNA vaccinations, prompting calls for further research and vigilance in monitoring the potential side effects.

Joe Biden Can’t Be Bothered to Speak to the People Who Work for Him

For someone who is supposed to be running the United States government, President Joe Biden doesn’t seem to interact much with those working for him or know what they are doing.

A few weeks removed from the Pentagon hiding the physical condition of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin from the president, the former chief of the U.S. Border Patrol revealed Sunday that he never once talked to Biden during his two years on the job.

“I’ve never had one conversation with the president or vice president,” Raul Ortiz, who was the chief of the Border Patrol from August 2021 until his retirement last year, said in a 60 Minutes interview Sunday. “I was the chief of the Border Patrol. I commanded 21,000 people. That’s a problem.”

No kidding it’s a problem. The president of the U.S., for two years, was either unwilling or unable to talk to the one person who commands the group of people tasked with ensuring that the U.S. border is secure and under control. All the while, a record number of illegal immigrants crossed the border and were released into the U.S. And, most disturbingly, it betrays how little Biden is involved in managing the government he was elected to lead. Republican introduces ‘Laken Riley Act’ to force ICE to retain illegal aliens for theft, says tragic murder is a ‘wakeup call’

In response to the brutal murder of Laken Hope Riley, a Republican lawmaker has introduced legislation that would require the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain any illegal immigrants charged with theft or burglary.

Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) introduced the Laken Riley Act on Friday, which would “require the Secretary of Homeland Security to take into custody aliens who have been charged in the United States with theft, and for other purposes.”

The bill is dedicated to Laken Riley, the 22-year-old college nursing student who was recently murdered on the campus of the University of Georgia. Riley died from blunt force trauma.

The suspect in the horrific slaying is 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra — an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. He has been charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call, and concealing Riley’s death. Fani Willis Allegedly Warned Nathan Wade’s Lawyer to Keep Silent About Affair

A new witness could testify Fani Willis warned lover Nathan Wade’s former business partner to stay quiet about their affair, an explosive new court filing claims.

“They are coming after us. You don’t need to talk to them about anything about us,” Willis is alleged to have warned Terrence Bradley in a September 2023 phone call.

The call was overheard by Cobb County, Georgia, prosecutor Cindi Lee Yeager, according to court papers filed Monday by Trump co-defendant David Schafer.

Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney, is currently battling to stay in her post overseeing the election interference case which charged Donald Trump and 18 others.

She stands accused of carrying on a relationship with Wade, who she appointed special prosecutor, but hiding it from the court, presenting a conflict of interest. (Read more from “Fani Willis Allegedly Warned Nathan Wade’s Lawyer to Keep Silent About Affair” HERE)
