Report: Biden Withholding Weapons From Israel; Dems Impeached Trump Over Ukraine Aid

A new report appears to confirm earlier claims that the Biden administration has been withholding arms from Israel in an attempt to send a message of disapproval about Israel’s policy of entering Rafah to finish off Hamas terrorists.

Breitbart News reported earlier in the week about claims in other publications that the U.S. had been withholding aid. Israel denied any delay, but the White House gave a noncommittal reply to reporters’ questions in a briefing Monday.

Politico reported Tuesday that the claims appear to have been correct, and referred to specific “smart” bombs:

The Biden administration is holding up shipments of two types of Boeing-made precision bombs to send a political message to Israel, according to a U.S. official and six other people with knowledge of the deliberations.

The U.S. has yet to sign off on a pending sale of Boeing’s Joint Direct Attack Munitions — both the munitions and kits that convert them to smart weapons — and Small Diameter Bombs, according to six industry and congressional sources with knowledge of the discussions.

The munitions were ready to be shipped to Israel when word of the hold came down, said one senior congressional aide and two other people familiar with the incident. A third person, an industry official, said the administration told Boeing to halt the shipment since the approval was held up for “political reasons,” and not because of supply chain strain.

Stormy Daniels Takes the Witness Stand in Trump’s NY Trial

As the third week of witness testimony in Donald Trump’s hush money trial takes place, all eyes are on who will be called next and whether the former president will be able to abide by the terms of his now twice-broken gag order that bars him from speaking publicly about jurors, witnesses and some others connected to the case.

Porn actor Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was called to the witness stand by mid-morning, following testimony from a Penguin Random House executive.

Before Monday’s testimony began, Judge Juan M. Merchan found Trump in contempt of court for a second time, fining him $1,000 for a single violation and sternly warning the loquacious former president that jail time would be considered for future violations “if necessary and appropriate.”

Two people tied to the Trump Organization took the stand on Monday — former controller Jeffrey McConney and accounts payable supervisor Deborah Tarasoff — elaborating on a key piece of the charges against Trump: Michael Cohen’s reimbursement for the $130,000 Daniels payment.

Tuesday’s witness testimony is set to dig further into the events and people involved in what prosecutors have said was a scheme to influence the 2016 presidential election by buying and burying negative stories about the then-candidate. ‘You Are a Liar, a Thief, and a Villain’: Biden Scorched for Absurd Claim

Perhaps it was an untrained intern, perhaps not, but the claim comes out of Joe Biden’s campaign for re-election and it’s getting scorched online.

It’s the wild statement that “Wages are rising faster than prices” and “We’re making real progress.”

The campaign actually said, “Wages are rising faster than prices, incomes are higher than before the pandemic, and unemployment has remained below 4% for the longest stretch in 50 years. We have more to do to lower costs for hardworking families, but we’re making real progress.” . . .

It was NewsnationNow that reported, “For most of the Biden presidency — every month from April 2021 to April 2023 — price increases have outpaced wage growth, eating away at consumers’ purchasing power.”

Report: Email Unveils Attempt to Introduce Chinese Company, Deemed National Security ‘Risk,’ to U.S.

In a recent revelation, it has been uncovered that an economic development corporation in Ohio actively engaged with a Chinese-owned company flagged as a potential national security risk by U.S. authorities. According to communications reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation, JobsOhio, a private economic development corporation funded by the JobsOhio Beverage System, collaborated with Fufeng USA, a subsidiary of China-based Fufeng Group, to explore the establishment of a facility in the state.

The correspondence indicates that Matthew Davis, representing “RGP Northwest Ohio/JobsOhio,” initiated discussions with officials from Paulding County regarding the potential siting of Fufeng USA’s facility in or near Defiance, Ohio, in May 2023. Despite warnings from the U.S. Air Force about Fufeng USA’s operations posing a significant national security threat, JobsOhio proceeded with discussions.

Fufeng USA, specializing in bio-fermentation for livestock feed supplements, has ties to the Chinese Communist Party through its parent company, Fufeng Group. This connection, coupled with Fufeng USA’s plans to establish a plant in North Dakota, drew concerns from U.S. authorities. The U.S. Air Force expressed apprehension, citing both immediate and long-term risks to national security due to the plant’s proximity to sensitive military installations.

Moreover, Fufeng Group’s founder and chairman, Li Xuechun, has a political background within the Chinese Communist Party, having served on committees and received accolades from government entities. Li’s association with the CCP raises further questions about the company’s intentions and potential influence.

While JobsOhio and its partner organizations engaged in preliminary discussions with Fufeng USA, they eventually decided not to pursue the opportunity further.

Man Accused of Kidnapping Teenager and Raping Her for Months Had Been Arrested 52 Times Previously

A man who was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a teenager and repeatedly raping her in his basement had been previously arrested 52 times, according to Illinois police.

Cook County prosecutors said 48-year-old Derek Swift drove up to the 15-year-old girl on Dec. 6 while she was walking to her home in Chicago.

The girl said that he kept asking her if she wanted a ride until she relented and got into his car. Once inside the car, she was allegedly pressured to drink alcohol and take drugs until she agreed and then went unconscious.

She said that she awoke naked in the man’s basement apartment and was kept against her will for nearly five months while she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by Swift. She hit her 16th birthday while being allegedly held captive.

The victim said she was left alone by her captor for days at a time and although he left a phone with her, she said he threatened to kill her if she tried to leave and also to kill anyone she tried to call with the phone. Illegals Will Now Be Eligible for Health Care Coverage Under New Biden Rule

More than 100,000 young immigrants protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program will soon become eligible to receive federal health care coverage for the first time since DACA was implemented over a decade ago.

The Biden administration will announce a new federal rule Friday allowing DACA recipients to enroll in a qualified health plan through the Affordable Care Act insurance marketplace or become eligible for coverage through a basic health program.

An estimated 580,000 young adults who lack legal immigration status and have lived in the U.S. since they were children are currently working or studying without fear of deportation under DACA. An overwhelming majority of DACA recipients were born in Mexico and other Latin American countries. . .

By implementing a federal rule expanding the definition of “lawful presence” to include DACA recipients, they are “no longer excluded from receiving coverage from a quality health plan and financial assistance as well,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra told reporters in a press call Thursday.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates that over 100,000 young immigrants who lack health insurance will now have a shot at accessing affordable health care. (Read more from “Illegals Will Now Be Eligible for Health Care Coverage Under New Biden Rule” HERE)

Reporter Uses ABC News’ Airwaves to Pop Democrats’ Bubble About Biden’s Re-Election Chances

An NPR reporter delivered news from the campaign trail on Sunday that doesn’t look good for President Joe Biden.

During a roundtable discussion on ABC News’ “This Week,” NPR correspondent Asma Khalid confirmed that voters who typically compose the “core” of the Democratic Party lack enthusiasm for Biden’s re-election.

Khalid was pushing back on Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s claim that voters are falsely “glamorizing” Donald Trump’s presidency.

“What I’ve already heard in so many of my interviews with people is a lackluster sense of enthusiasm,” she said of voters’ attitudes toward Biden, “whether it’s black voters, whether it’s — you’d call them, sort of like, disaffected Republicans.” . . .

“There’s a whole bunch of things that went right for Biden, I would argue, in 2020: It was unity and opposition to Donald Trump,” she explained. “To make this a referendum is what the Biden campaign wants, but it’s really challenging because many voters are looking at this election as a referendum on [Biden].”

Video Shows Homeless Woman Brutally Attacking Bus Driver After Allegedly Demanding a Free Ride

A vicious fight between a Los Angeles bus driver and the homeless woman who attacked her was captured on cellphone video.

The Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to the incident at about 12:40 p.m. on Sunday near Central Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard.

Witnesses said that the woman tried to get on the L.A. Dash bus without paying her fare and the bus driver refused, telling her she could not. The woman then attacked the female bus driver and dragged her off the bus from behind her plexiglass safety barrier.

Video shows the woman shoving and punching the driver, who struggles with her and yells, “Get off me!” several times.

The homeless woman was able to punch the driver at least once in the face before the driver got back on the bus and pushed the attacker off while she closed the door.

Alvin Bragg’s Team Finally Produced Docs at Center of Case Against Trump — There Was Just One Catch

Prosecutors finally displayed the documents at the heart of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against former President Donald Trump on Monday, but have yet to establish a direct link to demonstrate Trump’s culpability.

Until Monday, prosecutors had been focused on setting up other pieces of their case: the context for the $130,000 payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet about claims of a sexual encounter and the broader “conspiracy” to influence the 2016 election they allege Trump was involved in. Monday’s witnesses — former Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney and Trump Organization accounts payable supervisor Deborah Tarasoff — offered starkly different testimony than earlier witnesses like David Pecker and Keith Davidson, providing no salacious celebrity stories and an almost exclusive focus on accounting.

Through their testimony, prosecutors introduced the invoices, ledger entries and checks the 34-felony count indictment against Trump claims he falsified, allegedly to reimburse his former attorney Michael Cohen for the Daniels payment.

Bragg was only able to bring the core charges for falsifying business records, which had passed the statute of limitations, by charging them as felonies and alleging they were done to conceal or commit another crime, which is why much of the prosecution’s case has focused on highlighting Trump’s involvement in the alleged “conspiracy.”

During cross examination with McConney and Tarasoff, Trump’s defense sought to cast doubt on the president’s personal responsibility by raising questions about his direct involvement in repaying Cohen. Biden’s Plan to Admit Gaza Refugees Sparks National Security Concerns

A reported plan by the Biden administration to potentially admit Palestinians from Gaza as refugees into the United States has sparked concerns among immigration experts and lawmakers, who argue that such a move could pose significant national security risks.

Internal documents from the federal government, leaked to the media on Tuesday, suggest that the Biden White House is exploring options to offer permanent safe haven to Palestinians living in war-torn Gaza. While no official plan has been announced, critics have raised alarms over the potential consequences of admitting individuals from this region.

Immigration experts, speaking to the Daily Caller News Foundation, have criticized the proposed plan as contrary to the country’s interests. They warn about the risks associated with admitting foreign nationals from a conflict-ridden area with potential ties to terrorism. Instead, they advocate for relocating refugees to neighboring Middle Eastern countries.

Matt O’Brien, director of investigations for the Immigration Reform Law Institute, described the plan as “absurd” and prioritizing ideology over national security. He highlighted concerns about Hamas, the governing authority in Gaza, and the challenges of vetting individuals from the region due to distrust in official records.

Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa, along with 34 Republican senators, penned a letter to President Biden urging him to halt the reported plan. They raised concerns about the high level of support for Hamas among the Gazan population and the difficulty of properly vetting individuals from such a complex and volatile region.

The senators questioned the rationale behind admitting Gazan refugees, especially when nearby Arab countries, sympathetic to the Palestinian cause, have refused to accept them due to security concerns.

Eric Ruark, director of research and public relations for NumbersUSA, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the need for caution in admitting individuals from Gaza. He emphasized that every American should be alarmed by the potential implementation of such a program.

Polling data from the Palestinian Center for Policy and Research has revealed widespread support for Hamas among Palestinians, raising further concerns about the potential for individuals with extremist ties to enter the United States under the proposed plan.
