Former Government Employee Charged With Falsely Accusing Coworkers of Participating in Jan. 6 Capitol Attack

A former government employee with ties to federal intelligence agencies was arrested in Virginia Thursday and accused of sending fake tips to the FBI in which he falsely accused multiple coworkers of taking part in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, newly unsealed court documents revealed.

Investigators alleged in court records that Miguel Zapata anonymously submitted information about seven individuals with whom he had once worked in the months after the attack, writing that they “espoused conspiracy theories” and “took part in the insurrection.”

According to prosecutors, between February and April 2021, Zapata allegedly concocted fake stories about his former coworkers’ involvement in the events of Jan. 6 and submitted them via the FBI’s anonymous tip line that has been used to gather information following the Capitol breach. Over 1,300 individuals have so far been charged for their alleged involvement.

“These tips variously alleged that the government employees and contractors were physically present at or involved in the attack at the Capitol or had shared classified information with individuals and groups present at the riot with the intent to assist these groups in overthrowing the United States government,” charging documents said.

Zapata is accused of sending the home addresses, full names, and security clearance levels of his former colleagues to the FBI, which prompted the FBI and some of the victims’ employers to launch investigations into their alleged conduct based on the faulty information. Anti-Israel Protester at UCLA Encampment: ‘We Don’t Like White People’

As frat boys counter-protesting radical Palestinian supporters marching on the University of Mississippi campus are accused of “racism” for mocking the left-wing anti-Israel activists, virtually no condemnations are heard from these same voices in response to a pro-Palestinian woman outright denouncing “white people” at the UCLA encampment in Southern California.

In a viral clip that has been making the rounds on social media in recent days, an anti-Israel protester at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) can be heard dismissing a counter-protester because he is a “white person.”

“You’re just a white person; you’re a white person [so] get out — we don’t like white people,” the keffiyeh-wearing woman insisted before chanting, “Free Palestine” as she waved a Palestinian flag.

Journalist Cam Higby, who challenged the woman and filmed it, explained that she was “speaking Arabic” and “screaming about Jewish colonizers,” when he confronted her and accused her of “being mad that Hamas is hiding behind civilians.”

Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘Black Book’ With 221 New Names Hits Auction Block

The shadow of Jeffrey Epstein looms large once again as a mysterious “black book” purportedly belonging to the late financier, containing the names and addresses of 221 previously undisclosed individuals, is set to go up for auction. The identities of bidders are guaranteed to remain confidential.

Expected to fetch up to $200,000 or more, the book has stirred considerable interest, with high-profile names reportedly among its pages. Notable figures such as former President Donald Trump, billionaire businessman John Catsimatidis, and Suzanne Ircha, known as Melania Trump’s confidante and co-owner of the New York Jets, are said to be listed. Other names include billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn, Cristina Greeven (wife of former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo), and ex-Playboy CEO Christie Hefner. However, it’s crucial to note that none of these individuals have faced criminal charges related to Epstein.

The origins of the book remain shrouded in mystery. Discovered on Fifth Avenue in the East Village by a female musician in the 1990s, its journey to that location remains unclear. However, what’s evident is that it contains the names of 349 people, 221 of whom were not previously known from Epstein’s more infamous “black book.”

The upcoming auction of this relic, believed to be from 1997, will be facilitated by Alexander Historical Auctions, accompanied by a forensic examiner’s report verifying its authenticity. Bill Panagopulos, owner of the auction house, emphasized the rarity and significance of such an item, predicting a sale price ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 and beyond.

This isn’t the first time Epstein’s connections have made headlines. In 2015, a previous black book containing names like Michael Bloomberg, Bill Clinton, and Mick Jagger was leaked by the now-defunct blog Gawker. However, all individuals mentioned have denied any involvement in Epstein’s illicit activities.

The US Spent So Much Time Fighting Insurgents That It Forgot ‘What It Means to Actually Fight a War,’ a US Vet in Ukraine Says

An American veteran who fought in Ukraine said the US military spent so long focused on fighting insurgents that it forgot “what it means to actually fight a war.”

“We have neglected a lot of the training” on “how to fight and survive in a peer-on-peer adversary war,” the veteran, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told Business Insider.

He said that “in the US military, we mostly have been focusing on a guerilla war” and battling insurgents, with places with Iraq and Afghanistan in mind. The US military invested decades, billions of dollars, and thousands of lives into fights in these places.

The former soldier spoke about how his training with the US military a number of years ago compared to what he saw in Ukraine, where he started fighting when Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022 and left last December. . .

In the US military, he explained, “I believe that a lot of the training that we have is tailored more to fighting in a guerilla warfare nowadays than it is to actually fighting a near-peer adversary like it would be with Russia or China.” He said that it is an issue that many NATO members face. Israel Raids, Shuts Down News Service in the Country

Israeli authorities raided and shut down Qatar-based television news network Al Jazeera in Israel with the unanimous approval of the Israeli government, according to an official statement.

“The Government, today, unanimously approved the closure of Al Jazeera according to the proposal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi,” the statement from Netanyahu’s office released Sunday read.

The orders, signed by Karhi, reportedly went into immediate effect.

Netanyahu conceived and advanced the law based on his conviction that Al Jazeera was “harming the state,” the statement implied. Karhi implemented the law after having received “at least one security opinion and the approval of either the Government or the Security Cabinet.”

“Al Jazeera correspondents have harmed the security of Israel and incited against IDF soldiers. The time has come to eject Hamas’s mouthpiece from our country,” Netanyahu said, the statement reported. (Read more from “Israel Raids, Shuts Down News Service in the Country” HERE)

Pro-Hamas Protests Funded by Biden’s Own Political Donors

The pro-Palestinian, antisemitic protests on university campuses across the nation are funded by President Joe Biden’s own political donors — which could explain why he hesitates to condemn them and won’t investigate them.

Biden equivocated last month when asked to react to the protests, saying that he condemned the antisemitism but also condemned those “who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians,” which puzzled observers.

Research by NGO Monitor and others into the donors behind the protests has turned up familiar names from the Democratic Party bankroll — including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and other liberal philanthropies.

Biden’s Department of Justice has notably refused to investigate the civil rights abuses being committed by the “encampments” — against Jews, journalists, and others — and has also refused to consider RICO conspiracy charges.

The reason may be that he does not want to subject his own political donors to investigation or embarrasment. (Read more from “Pro-Hamas Protests Funded by Biden’s Own Political Donors” HERE)

Police Arrests of Anti-Israel Protesters Include School Psychologist

A psychologist for Indianapolis Public Schools was among those held when police arrested 14 masked adults who officers said were blocking traffic late last month just outside the Governor’s Residence in the state capital.

The school psychologist, Karisa Cole, and the other arrested protesters were charged with obstructing traffic April 25 at 10:30 a.m. on Meridian Street in Indianapolis.

In public statements that morning, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department warned that although peaceful protesting is constitutionally protected, blocking traffic violates Indiana law.

After brief remarks and a collective chant calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war and for Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, a Republican, to divest from doing business with Israel, the protesters crossed into Meridian Street and blocked traffic.

When police officers arrived, they asked the protesters to leave the roadway multiple times. When the protesters didn’t move, officers arrested the 14 obstructers, who began to sing as officers pulled them off the street.

Study Warns: Increased COVID Vaccine Doses Linked to Higher Infection Risk

A recent study, led by Dr. Naabin Shrestha and collaborators, has raised concerns about the correlation between the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered and the risk of contracting the virus. The findings, published in a report from the Epoch Times, indicate that individuals who have received multiple vaccine doses face heightened susceptibility to COVID-19.

According to the report, individuals who received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine exhibited a 1.5 times higher risk of contracting the virus. This risk increased to 1.95 times for those who received three doses and spiked to 2.5 times for individuals who received three or more doses. These figures were compared against individuals who received zero or only one dose of the vaccine.

The exact mechanisms behind this alarming trend remain unclear. Researchers speculate that vaccine-induced immunity might be weaker and less enduring compared to natural immunity. Consequently, while vaccination may offer some protection in the short term, it could potentially elevate the risk of future infections.

The Epoch Times highlighted this unsettling revelation, emphasizing the growing apprehension regarding the efficacy and safety of COVID-19 vaccines. Unlike traditional vaccines, which stimulate the body to develop resistance against pathogens, COVID-19 vaccines operate by triggering the production of a specific protein fragment found in the virus, purportedly eliciting a protective immune response.

Dr. Robert Malone, a prominent vaccine researcher not involved in the study, expressed concerns over the effectiveness of current COVID-19 vaccine products. He described the findings as another acknowledgment of their limited efficacy, suggesting that they might contribute to diminishing effectiveness over time.

Previous studies have also underscored potential adverse effects associated with COVID-19 vaccines, including the risk of fatal heart inflammation. Despite these concerns, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to advocate for widespread vaccination, urging virtually everyone aged 6 months and older to receive multiple vaccine doses.

Dr. Harvey Risch, professor emeritus of epidemiology at Yale, offered insights into the potential mechanisms underlying the increased infection risk associated with multiple vaccine doses. He suggested that such doses might lead to antibody-dependent enhancement or “original antigenic sin,” diminishing the effectiveness of the antibody response generated by the initial vaccine dose.

The IRS Says Audits Are About to Surge — Here’s Who’s Most at Risk

The Internal Revenue Service said it plans to sharply increase audit rates for big corporations, partnerships and multimillionaires over the next three years after a massive boost in funding by the Biden administration.

The IRS said in a news release Thursday that it’s aiming to nearly triple its audit rate, to 22.6%, on corporations with upwards of $250 million worth of assets in the 2026 tax year. . .

For complex partnerships with assets topping $10 million, the IRS said it intends to increase audit rates nearly 10-fold, to 1% in tax year 2026 — up from 0.1% in 2019.

The IRS also said it is targeting a 50% increase in audit rates for individuals with a total positive annual income exceeding $10 million. . .

At the same time, the IRS assured that it would not increase audit rates on individuals and small businesses earning under $400,000, in keeping with President Biden’s pledge not to increase taxes on that population. Every State Facing Deceptive, Unlimited Abortion Ballot Measures This November

Democrats and their abortion giant allies want to legalize killing unborn babies throughout all nine months of gestation in every state. A majority of U.S. adults reject that position, but that fact hasn’t stopped the ballot measure battle that plagued Ohio last year from infiltrating several other states, including those controlled by Republicans, during the 2024 election cycle. . .

Florida voters will be asked come November 5 to weigh in on a state constitutional amendment declaring, “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.” . . .

Maryland is already one of the most pro-abortion states in the U.S., but a ballot measure up for vote on Election Day 2024 could make the state’s sweeping abortion provisions more permanent and prevent any limits from being enacted in the future. . .

New York, similar to Maryland, already has unlimited abortion as long as a medical professional deems the life or health — physical or mental — of the mother at risk. Abortion activists are asking New Yorkers to further enshrine abortion in the state by ratifying an Equal Rights Amendment that would effectively prevent the government from enacting limits on baby-killing in the future. . .

Democrats, including Vice President Kamala Harris and outside abortion groups such as ACLU and Planned Parenthood, flocked to the Grand Canyon State this year to promote a measure that, if added to the 2024 ballot and passed, adds a “fundamental right to abortion” to the state constitution.
