Biden Explodes Claim Abortions Are Needed for Women’s ‘Mental Health’

One of the arguments the abortion industry in America has used for years to support its demand for unlimited abortion is that it’s needed for a woman’s “mental health.”

The Biden administration just exploded that claim.

“And when a woman comes in with some grave mental health emergency, if she happens to be pregnant, it would be incredibly unethical to terminate her pregnancy. She might not be in a position to give any informed consent. Instead, the way you treat mental health emergency is to address what’s happening in the brain. If you’re having a psychotic episode, you administer antipsychotics,” explained Joe Biden’s solicitor general Elizabeth Prelogar.

The American Center for Law and Justice noted the comment came before the Supreme Court in arguments over a lawsuit over the Biden administration’s claim that emergency room physicians must do abortion on demand – irrespective of their own beliefs and state law.

The ACLJ explained, “Joe Biden has been called the most pro-abortion president in history, and understandably so. Yet every now and then something slips out from his administration that crosses up the pro-abortion narrative, such as when Biden referred to choosing ‘to abort a child’ instead of using some more obscure term like ‘fetus’ or ‘pregnancy.'” (Read more from “Biden Explodes Claim Abortions Are Needed for Women’s ‘Mental Health’” HERE)

Snack Recall: Products Pulled Due to Potentially Fatal Contamination

Minnesota-based Hormel Foods Sales LLC has issued a recall for two Planters products produced at one of its facilities and distributed to select states in the southeast U.S. due to concerns over potential listeria contamination. The affected products, Honey Roasted Peanuts and Deluxe Lightly Salted Mixed Nuts, were distributed to Publix and Dollar Tree warehouses across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

The discovery of listeria monocytogenes in the packaged contents prompted the voluntary recall. Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause severe infections, particularly in vulnerable populations such as young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

Symptoms of listeria infection may include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. In pregnant women, listeria infections can lead to miscarriages or stillbirths.

The recall specifically targets 4-ounce packages of Planters Honey Roasted Peanuts and 8.75-ounce cans of Planters Deluxe Lightly Salted Mixed Nuts. Consumers are advised to check the “Best if Used By Date” and UPC code on the packaging to identify the affected products. The UPC code for Honey Roasted Peanuts is 2900002097 with a best-by date of April 11, 2025, while Deluxe Lightly Salted Mixed Nuts bear the UPC code 2900001621 and a best-by date of April 5, 2026.

Hormel assures consumers that these are the only products affected by the recall and that no illnesses have been reported thus far.

Retailers have been notified, and consumers in possession of the recalled products are urged not to consume them. Instead, they should either discard the items or return them to the store of purchase for a replacement or full refund.

Democrat Rhetoric Gets Violent: Maxine Claims Trump Supporters ‘Training up in the Hills’ for Civil War

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said on this week’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show” that the Department of Justice should investigate “right-wing organizations” who supported former President Donald Trump “training up in the hill” for a civil war.

Waters said, “You cannot trust anything that Donald Trump has to say no matter if he loses he is going to say it was fraud. He still has not accepted what happened in the last presidential election. We have to be very concerned about a former president of the United States talking about attacking his own country, talking about perhaps a bloodbath, talking about perhaps there is going to be trouble. He said it in so many different ways we should take him seriously. This man does not believe in the Constitution. He wants to be a dictator. This is a dangerous human being. We have to know what our country is going to do to protect us from him.” (Read more from “Democrat Rhetoric Gets Violent: Maxine Claims Trump Supporters ‘Training up in the Hills’ for Civil War” HERE)

Hamas Changed Cease-Fire Deal to Count Hostages as ‘Alive’ or ‘Bodies’ in Proposed Prisoner Swap: Report

Hamas changed the language in the cease-fire deal it accepted Monday to count the bodies of dead hostages in a proposed swap for Palestinian prisoners, according to a shocking report.

The deal signed by Hamas also included an end to the war in Gaza — something the Israeli side said it would not accept.

Israeli officials have blasted the proposal as significantly different from what Israel had initially said it would agree to.

One of the biggest changes came in the language around the 33 Israeli hostages who were set to be released in exchange for a cease-fire.

While the original deal called for 33 living hostages, Hamas changed the wording to include 33 hostages “alive or bodies,” officials told public broadcaster KAN TV. (Read more from “Hamas Changed Cease-Fire Deal to Count Hostages as ‘Alive’ or ‘Bodies’ in Proposed Prisoner Swap: Report” HERE)

Nathan Wade Makes Absurd Claim About the Moment He and Fani Willis Ended Their Love Affair

Former Donald Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade made an absurd claim that he and Fani Willis ended their affair the “moment” they realized they were in love with each other — a statement completely at odds with his ex-lover’s version of events.

Speaking to ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Wade claimed he developed feelings for the Fulton County district attorney, who appointed him as special prosecutor to the election fraud case in 2021 “over time.”

“You don’t plan to fall in love,” he told the show, in his first interview since he was made to resign from the case in March.

“You don’t plan to have some relationship in the workplace. You don’t set out to do that. Those things develop organically. They develop over time.

“The minute we had that sobering moment, we discontinued it,” he claimed. (Read more from “Nathan Wade Makes Absurd Claim About the Moment He and Fani Willis Ended Their Love Affair” HERE)

Trump: Arrest Jack Smith After Special Counsel Admits Lying to Court

President Trump this weekend called for Jack Smith to be arrested after the Special Counsel admitted in a court filing that he lied to the court about the classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago. . .

Jack Smith admitted he lied to the Court about the classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago in a motion filed late Friday night.

Special Counsel Jack Smith on Friday evening responded to Trump’s co-defendant Walt Nauta’s motion to extend a deadline for disclosures in the classified documents case.

Recall that Walt Nauta, a former White House employee and Navy veteran who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago was indicted along with Trump last year.

In a motion filed late Friday, Jack Smith admitted the FBI messed with the boxes containing “classified” documents they seized from Trump and can’t be sure the order or the placement of the documents. (Read more from “Trump: Arrest Jack Smith After Special Counsel Admits Lying to Court” HERE)

Biden’s Advisers Push to Doing Something We All Knew Was Coming

This change to the Biden 2024 playbook was predictable, given the president’s penchant for being a gaffe machine. His staff aims to shorten his speeches, stressing quality over quantity. The president has had Ron Burgundy-like blunders with the teleprompter in recent weeks. With the public campaign schedule about to get busier, there’s no doubt Biden would have devolved into a more incoherent mess than he already is.

The man can’t hack it, and the irony is that we had a special counsel, Robert Hur, who noted just that when he investigated the president over his classified documents fiasco. We had days of Biden officials and liberal media members touting the president’s cognitive abilities. Now, we learn they’re shortening his speeches as a guardrail against senior moments (via NBC News):

As President Joe Biden ramps up his re-election effort, his campaign is also scaling back how much he says on the trail, part of a larger new strategy to hone a sharper message he’ll take into the general election, according to Biden aides.

The less-is-more approach aims for quality over quantity when it comes to the president’s public appearances, aides said.

Biden DHS Shuts Down ‘Experts’ Panel Featuring Signatories of Infamous Hunter Biden Laptop Letter

The Biden administration agreed Friday to shut down a panel of “experts” that included multiple signatories of a letter that dismissed a laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden as Russian disinformation.

The Department of Homeland Security agreed to “wind down” the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group in 30 days following litigation from America First Legal, according to court documents. The experts in the group included former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who signed an October 2020 letter that claimed a bombshell New York Post report about emails from the laptop supposedly abandoned by Hunter Biden “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

“The Experts Group shall be wound down within thirty (30) days of the entry of the Order, it will not hold any future meetings, and the Department will not reconstitute the Experts Group inconsistent with the FACA or the Homeland Security Act of 2002. The Department will also provide the Experts Group meeting agendas and meeting minutes with participant identifying information redacted within fifteen (15) days of the entry of the Order,” the order submitted to the United States District Court for the District of Columbia reads. “Based on these representations, Plaintiffs have agreed to dismiss their lawsuit with prejudice.”

Twitter locked multiple accounts, including the New York Post’s and the personal account of then-White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany for sharing the story, citing its “hacked materials” policy. DNC Prepares for Violent Pro-Hamas Protests

The Democratic Party is bracing for massive protests during the Democratic National Convention, comparing it to another chaotic event from the 1968 convention.

As pro-Hamas protests continue to rage through college campuses due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, concerns that similar protests will occur during the DNC convention this August in Chicago.

Former President Barack Obama’s chief of staff William Daley told the Washington Post that the chaotic college protests that have occurred in the past week have “taken the demonstrations to a different level.”

“It portends that you have the potential for big demonstrations. Whether they get violent — that’s more imaginable today than it was a year ago,” he said.

The DNC is reportedly taking no chances with the potential risk that pro-Hamas protesters will show up as they continue to harass President Joe Biden for supporting Israel. (Read more from “DNC Prepares for Violent Pro-Hamas Protests” HERE)

Trans Runner Dominates Women’s Events With Times That Would Place Last Among Men

Transgender college runner Sadie Schreiner won three women’s events at the Liberty League championship meet (Division III) on Saturday.

Schreiner of the Rochester Institute of Technology won the 400 meters with a time of 55.07 and the 200 meters at 24.14.

Both times would have been last in the men’s races at the meet, but they were school records in the women’s category, according to the site that lists the results of the meet.

The 200-meter time is now a Liberty League conference women’s record (beating Schreiner’s own previous record of 24.50 set earlier this season).

Schreiner was also the anchor leg of the 4×400 that won by nearly three seconds – they were in fourth place when Schreiner received the baton, but she ran the fastest anchor leg of the race. (Read more from “Trans Runner Dominates Women’s Events With Times That Would Place Last Among Men” HERE)
