DeSantis Doesn’t Trust Federal Government to Look into Apparent Assassination Attempt Against Trump. Florida Will Conduct Own Probe.

Gov. Ron DeSantis expressed doubts Monday about the federal government’s ability to fairly and objectively investigate the apparent assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

His solution: Florida will conduct its own state investigation into the Sunday incident at Trump’s golf club near West Palm Beach.

DeSantis acknowledged that the federal government is pursuing the matter.

“I understand that the feds are involved, but, but we do believe that there were multiple violations of state law,” he said at a news conference in Orlando.

He amplified on why he said the state would conduct its own investigation. “We also believe that there’s a need to make sure that, that the truth about all this comes out in a way, you know, that’s credible.

“I mean I look at the federal government with all due respect to them, you know, those same agencies that are prosecuting Trump in that jurisdiction are now going to be investigating this. I just think that that may not be the best thing for this country. (Read more from “DeSantis Doesn’t Trust Federal Government to Look into Apparent Assassination Attempt Against Trump. Listen to the Eerie ‘Sound’ From a Black Hole, Captured by NASA (VIDEO)

NASA created a haunting audio clip of sound waves rippling out of a supermassive black hole, located 250 million light-years away.

The black hole is at the center of the Perseus cluster of galaxies, and the acoustic waves coming from it have been transposed up 57 and 58 octaves so they’re audible to human hearing.

The result (below), released by NASA in 2022, is a sort of unearthly (obviously) howling that, if we’re honest, sounds not only spooky, but a little bit angry. . .

In 2003, astronomers detected something truly astonishing: acoustic waves propagating through the copious amounts of gas surrounding the supermassive black hole at the centre of the Perseus galaxy cluster, which is now renowned for its eerie wails.

But this recent sonification has not only brought the recording up a whole lot of octaves, they’ve also added to the notes detected from the black hole, so we can get a sense of what they would sound like, ringing through intergalactic space.

‘Gave Me Chills’: Watch Jim Morrison and the Doors Scorch Kamala Harris in New Parody Song

No, Jim Morrison is not back from the grave, but his smash hit with his rock group The Doors, “Light My Fire,” has been resurrected into a Kamala Harris spoof called “Big Fat Liar.”

Parody songmaker Brian Coyne created the reworked video mixing actual footage of The Doors’ 1967 appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” with news clips of Harris during her 2024 presidential campaign.

The 2024 lyrics state:

You always say what is untrue
You are a master falsifier
When somebody fact-checks you
Like a chameleon you change your attire

Kamala’s a big fat liar
Kamala’s a big fat liar
Liar, Liar, pants on fire!

The time for cackling is through
Joe Biden’s condition is dire
Now the party turns to you
It’s time to claim what you desire

Kamala’s a big fat liar
Kamala is such a liar
Liar, Liar, pants on fire!

You said that you worked in fast food
And put potatoes in a fryer
I hope they have a job for you
Come November when you are FIRED!

Kamala’s a big fat liar
Kamala’s a big fat liar
Liar, Liar, pants on fire!

Hillary Clinton Wants Department of Justice to Jail Americans for Exercising Free Speech

Recently, Hillary Clinton sparked controversy when she suggested that Americans spreading misinformation, particularly about election interference, should potentially face criminal or civil penalties. In a conversation with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Clinton discussed how both foreign actors, like Russia, and certain Americans engaged in what she sees as propaganda during the 2016 election, boosting Trump’s campaign. She expressed frustration over how this misinformation is handled and hinted that legal action against Americans involved could serve as a deterrent.

If you don’t think the Democrats are coming after free speech in January if they win the election, these statements by former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should have you concerned.

“Just as Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016. But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this propaganda,” Clinton said. “Whether they should be civilly or even in some cases, criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence.”

This statement has led to renewed criticism of Clinton’s past, with some pointing out the irony given her husband, former President Bill Clinton, famously misled the public during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Critics argue that under such a law, Bill Clinton could have faced legal consequences for his own “misinformation” when he denied having sexual relations with Lewinsky. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Wants Department of Justice to Jail Americans for Exercising Free Speech” HERE)

Pope Francis’ Claim ‘All Religions Are a Path to God’ Rebuked by Clergy

During a three-day visit to Singapore, Pope Francis declared that “all religions are a path to God,” sparking backlash among religious leaders in the U.S.

The statement was made at an interreligious meeting with young people at a Catholic junior college shortly before his departure back to Rome.

Departing from his prepared remarks, Francis spoke off the cuff, stating that different religions are like “different languages” to reach God.

“If you start to fight, ‘my religion is more important than yours, mine is true and yours isn’t,’ where will that lead us?” he asked,” according to Crux Now. “There’s only one God, and each of us has a language to arrive at God. Some are Sheik, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and they are different paths [to God].”

Reacting to the pontiff’s comments, Bishop Joseph Strickland, who oversaw the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tyler, Texas, until his dismissal by the Vatican last year, said in a post on X, “Please pray for Pope Francis to clearly state that Jesus Christ is the only Way. To deny this is to deny Him. If we deny Christ, He will deny us, He cannot deny Himself.”

Ads in Four Swing States Criticize Kamala Harris for Supporting Teenage Gender Transitions

Attack ads airing in the swing states of Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin have been criticizing Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris for her past support of taxpayer-funded transition of teenagers.

The 30-second ads from the conservative advocacy group CatholicVote say that 236 underage girls had their breasts removed with taxpayer funds. The ads reportedly used Medicaid data “listing the number of girls under 18 receiving mastectomies and hysterectomies in each state, as well as the number receiving hysterectomies,” per the Washington Times.

“Sound weird? Disgusting? It is. And you’re paying for it,” the narrator says in the ads. “Kamala Harris supports these taxpayer-funded sex-change operations. A vote for Harris: a vote for medical experiments on kids.”

CatholicVote President Brian Burch said that the ad calls attention to the “size, scope and money involved in the trans agenda being pushed on our kids.”

Burch continued, “Talk about weird, physically healthy boys and girls are having their genitals and sexual organs destroyed, and Kamala Harris and her Democratic allies in the Senate not only think that’s acceptable, but are forcing taxpayers to pay for it.” (Read more from “Ads in Four Swing States Criticize Kamala Harris for Supporting Teenage Gender Transitions” HERE)

Questions Arise Over Would-Be Trump Assassin’s Shady Connections in Iran

Ryan Wesley Routh, the 58-year-old man who is suspected of an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, had connections in Iran that are leading some security experts to question if there was Iranian involvement.

A New York Times reporter who had interviewed Routh last year wrote on Sunday that Routh was working to recruit former Afghan special operations soldiers who had fled to Iran to go fight in Ukraine.

The reporter, Thomas Gibbons-Neff, wrote that when he was writing an article on volunteer fighters in Ukraine last year, his former Afghan colleague and friend Najim Rahim had put him in touch with Routh, who he had learned about from a source of his in Iran, a former Afghan special operations soldier.

A number of U.S.-trained Afghan special operations forces had fled to Iran after the disastrous Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. Since those forces were trained by U.S. special operations forces, the Afghan commandos’ escape into Iran potentially delivered “closely guarded secrets on U.S. special operators” to Iran, according to Foreign Policy.

Neff suggested that Afghan commandos were interested in fighting in Ukraine because “anything, even war, was better than the conditions in Iran for Afghans after the Taliban retook Kabul in August of 2021.” (Read more from “Questions Arise Over Would-Be Trump Assassin’s Shady Connections in Iran” HERE)

Trump Assassination Attempts Mark Next Stage of America’s March Towards Banana Republic

Censorship, political prosecutions, and assassinations are common features of a third-world banana republic where the term “democracy” is used by incumbent regimes as merely a buzzword to cloak authoritarianism. If there’s ever any wonder who won the last two presidential debates run by moderators from state media, just look at who keeps getting shot at after them.

Darren Beattie, a former speechwriter in the Trump White House, characterized the “grim new reality of our ‘democracy’” as one where “we can tell whether Trump won a debate by whether an assassination attempt follows shortly thereafter.”

On Sunday, former President Donald Trump survived a second attempt on his life just days following another primetime forum against his far-left opponent. While Trump was out golfing at one of his West Palm Beach resorts, a gunman line up a scoped “AK-47-style rifle” within just 300 to 500 yards of the Republican presidential nominee. After hiding for 12 hours, the suspect was prevented from firing at Trump only because of a Secret Service agent who engaged the rifleman first.

According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, Trump still does not have full Secret Service protection because he is out of office.

“At this level that he is at right now, he’s not the sitting president. If he was, we would have had this entire golf course surrounded. But because he’s not, security is limited to the areas that the Secret Service deems possible,” Bradshaw told reporters Sunday. “I would imagine that the next time he comes to a golf course, there’ll probably be a little bit more people around the perimeter. But the Secret Service did exactly what they should have done.” (Read more from “Trump Assassination Attempts Mark Next Stage of America’s March Towards Banana Republic” HERE)

Pennsylvania Motor Voter System Will Be Audited for Noncitizen Voters

Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro got mixed reviews in September 2023 when he announced Pennsylvania had implemented automatic voter registration for “eligible Commonwealth residents obtaining driver’s licenses and ID cards at Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) driver and photo license centers.”

Before Shapiro switched to automatic voter registration, anyone getting a driver’s license was given the option to register to vote. But now all applying for driver’s licenses are automatically registered and must opt out if they don’t want to be — or cannot be — registered to vote.

Opponents of the move worried that people who are not eligible to vote, such as those who are not citizens of the United States, would not opt out and would be registered anyway.

In Pennsylvania, at least 628,234 noncitizens had a state driver’s license or a non-driver’s license photo identification, according to a Right-to-Know request response obtained by Heather Honey, executive director of the Election Research Institute and co-founder of Verity Vote.

Now an investigation has been announced to look at how the state is keeping illegal voters from registering in the process of getting a driver’s license.

Hezbollah Vows to Punish Israel After Pager Explosions Across Lebanon

Militant group Hezbollah promised to retaliate against Israel after accusing it of detonating pagers across Lebanon on Tuesday, killing nine people and wounding nearly 3,000 others who included fighters and Iran’s envoy to Beirut.

Lebanese Information Minister Ziad Makary condemned the late-afternoon detonation of the pagers – handheld devices that Hezbollah and others in Lebanon use to send messages – as an “Israeli aggression”. Hezbollah said Israel would receive “its fair punishment” for the blasts.

The Israeli military, which has been engaged in cross-border fighting with Iran-backed Hezbollah since the start of the Gaza war in October, declined to respond to questions about the detonations.

The death toll rose from eight to nine on Tuesday night while the number of injured remained at 2,750, Lebanon’s health ministry said.

Hezbollah confirmed in an earlier statement that the deaths included at least two of its fighters and a young girl.
