So That’s the Real Reason Those Democratic Lawmakers Went to El Salvador

. . .Four Democratic lawmakers, including Reps. Maxwell Frost (FL), Robert Garcia (CA), Maxine Dexter (OR), and Yassamin Ansari (AZ), traveled to San Salvador to urge the El Salvadoran government to free Abrego Garcia.

But it appears that’s not the only reason they took the trip, according to a Daily Caller exclusive report.

A source told the outlet that the lawmakers “Stayed at the Hilton San Salvador, a luxury property situated against a picturesque backdrop of the capital city’s volcano.”

The San Salvador hotel boasts rooms with scenic views of the capital city’s landscape and an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy margaritas and dine on local culinary treats, including made-to-order pupusas. The hotel is described as providing a “tranquil retreat” for “those seeking comfort and convenience,” according to Hotels.com. Google rates the property as a five-star hotel.

House Republicans’ campaign arm sharply criticized the four Democrats for taking a “tropical vacation” during a congressional recess period when lawmakers are given time to spend in their district.

“House Democrats booked their tropical vacation to El Salvador in the lap of luxury,” National Republican Congressional Committee spokesperson Ben Petersen told the DCNF. “While the American people suffer the consequences of the Biden Border Crisis importing illegal immigrant crime and fentanyl, these Democrats demonstrated again they are completely out of touch with voters.”

We are in a constitutional crisis.

I’m in El Salvador to shine a light on Kilmar’s story and keep the pressure on Donald Trump to secure his safe return home.

Illegal Alien Who Snatched Kristi Noem’s Purse Came ‘Within Arm’s Reach’ of Her While Secret Service Stood Guard

The illegal migrant who stole Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s Gucci purse got “within an arm’s reach” of the cabinet member — despite a Secret Service detail standing guard, federal documents show.

Mario Bustamante-Leiva, 49, strolled into the Capital Burger in the heart of Washington, DC, on the evening of April 20 and took a seat mere feet from Noem, 53, who was enjoying a family dinner accompanied by her Secret Service detail, according to charging documents from the US Attorney’s Office of DC.

“Bustamante-Leiva entered the business at approximately 7:52 p.m. and sat down within arm’s reach of [Noem],” the documents read. “Bustamante-Leiva sat down in the chair closes to [Noem] and pushed the chair back from his table in the direction of [Noem].”

Restaurant security footage in the documents shows the suspect sitting at a large empty table in the well-lit dining room with his back to Noem before he used his leg to snake her cash-filled bag close enough to snatch.

That means Bustamante-Leiva — an illegal migrant, homeless alcoholic and serial criminal with a laundry list of crimes going back years — was able to get within grabbing distance of the woman who has become the face of President Trump’s campaign to purge the country of violent illegal migrant gangs. So, This Is What Ryan Routh Was Planning to Do After Assassinating Trump

Ryan Routh, the second person suspected of trying to assassinate President Donald Trump, reportedly sought to use a human smuggler in Mexico to help him flee the country.

Headline USA’s Ken Silva reported on Tuesday that the Justice Department released a text message exchange between Routh and a man called “Ramiro.” One of the conversations involved Routh trying to get Ramiro to help an Afghan family seek asylum in the United States under former President Joe Biden.

The Justice Department has released text messages between Ryan Routh and an alleged human trafficker in Mexico about smuggling Afghans into the U.S. last year—arguing that such evidence should be presented to a jury as part of Routh’s larger plans to assassinate Donald Trump last September.

The DOJ included the text messages in a Monday court filing, responding to Routh’s motion to suppress evidence of his human smuggling activities. According to Routh’s attorneys, Routh’s discussions with a Mexican smuggler identified as “Ramiro” have nothing to do with the DOJ’s case against him. Those discussions occurred in February 2024, about seven months before his alleged attempt on Trump.

The DOJ said on Monday that the February 2024 text messages would provide crucial context for a jury about how Routh planned to flee the country if his attempt on Trump were successful.

“The February chats show that Routh intentionally sought out a professional smuggler who specialized in clandestine migrant crossings as part of his plan to flee the United States post-assassination,” DOJ lawyers argued. “The point here is that Ramiro is the human smuggler, and that Routh appealed to Ramiro in hatching his (Routh’s) escape plan. The February and September communications should, therefore, be admitted in their entirety as direct evidence of the Defendant’s guilt.”

Amazon Denies Report That ‘Tariff Cost’ Will Be Shown Next to Product Prices

The price of products Amazon Inc. displays in its online store may soon include the listed price and how much was added to the value due to President Donald Trump’s tariff impositions.

Punchbowl News reported on Tuesday that, according to a source familiar with the matter, the e-commerce giant will start showing the figure added to the value because of the duties right alongside a product’s total price.

The move is reportedly an effort by Amazon to inform customers cost rises have nothing to do with it and everything to do with the Trump White House.

Response to the reported move has been fast and to the point, with diplomat Richard Grenell for one keen for other measures to be taken, noting the sheer volume of produce Amazon shifts from producers in China.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also slammed Amazon’s plan as a “hostile and political act” on Tuesday.

“Why didn’t Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the highest level in 40 years?” Leavitt asked. (Read more from “Amazon Denies Report That ‘Tariff Cost’ Will Be Shown Next to Product Prices” HERE)

Who Is Trump Re-Impeachment Advocate Rep. Shri Thanedar?

Pro-migration, Indian-born Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) has filed impeachment articles against President Donald Trump, accidentally showcasing the growing role of ethnic Indian politicians in Congress.

Trump is “unfit to serve as President and represents a clear and present danger to our nation’s constitution and our democracy,” Thanedar declared on Monday. “This isn’t leadership — this is tyranny,” said Thanedar, one of six Indian-origin legislators in Congress.

The impeachment is not backed by top Democrats, but may be an effort to fend off at least two primary challenges before the 2026 election.

Thanedar was born to a very poor family in Belgaum, Karnataka, India, in 1955. He became a chemist, studied in the United States in 1979, and established a string of chemical and drug testing companies that he used to fund his political career.

At least one of his companies went bankrupt, forcing state officials to rescue more than 100 animals from an abandoned site in 2010. “In addition to 118 dogs, many of which had not yet been used for testing, animal groups rescued 55 monkeys from the facility, according to media reports from 2010,” the Detroit Free Press reported in 2018. Trump Administration Revokes 4,000 Visas for Students With Criminal Records for Assault, Robbery: ‘Breaking the Law With No Consequences’

The Trump administration has revoked the visas of 4,000 foreign students in its first 100 days — the bulk of which have committed crimes in the US including arson, assault and robbery, The Post has learned.

More than 90% of the rogue students who saw their visas nixed had committed crimes such as arson, wildlife and human trafficking, child endangerment, domestic abuse, DUI and robbery, a senior State Department source told The Post Monday. More than 500 of them had assault raps.

“They came and they were breaking the law with no consequences,” said the source.

“We set up a special action team to handle this.”

The State Department worked with the Department of Homeland Security, which tapped into their databases and compared that information with existing law enforcement records. Chinese National Accused of Voting in U.S. Election Skips Hearing, Prompting Bench Warrant

A Chinese national accused of voting in the 2024 election in Michigan now faces a bench warrant after he failed to attend a hearing last week.

Haoxiang Gao, a 20-year-old Chinese national with a green card, was supposed to show up for a hearing in district court on Thursday but never appeared, prompting Judge J. Cedric Simpson to issue a bench warrant for his arrest. Simpson decided to issue the bench warrant after conferring with Gao’s lawyer, K. Orlando Simón.

Gao’s legal ordeal began back on October 27 at the University of Michigan, where he apparently registered to vote and cast a ballot on the same day. He used his UM student ID card to prove local residency, Michigan Enjoyer learned after submitting several public information requests about the incident.

He must have had some misgivings about his actions because he then called the Ann Arbor clerk’s office, inquiring about whether green-card holders were eligible to vote. When the staff member explained that green-card holders were ineligible to vote, Gao allegedly claimed he knew of someone who had voted using their green card at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.

Gao then called the clerk’s office back 20 minutes later and admitted that he was the person who had voted and that he had “lied on the forms and attested to being a U.S. citizen,” according to an email from Ann Arbor clerk Jacqueline Beaudry. Potty-Mouthed Democrats Use Profanity in Attempt to Snag Votes

The typically euphemistic language of politics is increasingly being replaced by profanity as the midterms loom and Democrat candidates are dropping F-bombs and other expletives in their ads and appearances.

The trend is not limited to campaigning. Certain words such as “ass” and “pissed,” previously unheard for decades in the stodgy Capitol, are making their appearance in speeches on the floors of Congress.

One lawmaker, Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett, has drawn extensive media coverage as she’s forged a reputation using the kind of language one expects to hear in the mean streets.

One lexicography expert says the trend is born out of frustration. Michael Adams, author of In Praise of Profanity, told the Hill, “I think that in the case of the Democratic candidates … the swearing reflects their sense of crisis. There’s just a point at which the usual vocabulary will not be sufficiently expressive in the moment.”

But others say it is a cynical attempt to snag voters. A spokesperson for the National Republican Senatorial Committee hit back, arguing that Democrats “seem obsessed with saying ‘f—ing’ and ‘a–’ as the strategy to win back the voters that rejected them in 2024.” (Read more from “Potty-Mouthed Democrats Use Profanity in Attempt to Snag Votes” HERE)

Jeffrey Epstein Victim Virginia Giuffre’s Lawyer Casts Doubt on Her Suicide: ‘We’ve Got Big Question Marks Over It’

A lawyer for Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre — who killed herself at her home in Australia — has cast doubt on her suicide, insisting, “We’ve got big question marks over it.”

Karrie Louden claimed the 41-year-old mother had shown no sign she wanted to harm herself before she was found dead at her farm in Western Australia last Friday.

“When I got the phone call, I was like, ‘Are you joking?’ Because there was no sign that that was something she was considering,” the lawyer told the Sun.

Louden, who had represented Giuffre since January, expressed skepticism over her family’s shocking announcement that she had taken her own life.

“There’s suicide and then there’s misadventure,” Louden claimed.

“I didn’t see her in the room. I wasn’t in there. The family said what the family has said but I’m not going to speculate whether it was suicide or accidental.” (Read more from “Jeffrey Epstein Victim Virginia Giuffre’s Lawyer Casts Doubt on Her Suicide: ‘We’ve Got Big Question Marks Over It’” HERE)
