Trump Slashes Two Utah Protected Areas by More than 90%

President Donald Trump on Monday signed executive orders slashing two national monuments in Utah to roughly a tenth of their current size, throwing open millions of acres of protected land to fossil fuel extraction and mining.

Trump signed the proclamations at a White House gathering flanked by Republican officials including Utah’s governor and two senators, who framed the move as an overdue correction of federal overreach.

“We’re doing something very dramatic and very important for the people of Utah and the people of our country,” said Trump.

“These monument designations are supposed to be the ‘smallest area’ possible to protect the antiquities, and these multi-million acre monuments that are bigger than the state of Delaware certainly do not fit that designation,” added Utah Governor Spencer Cox.

“We definitely care about protecting these antiquities and will continue to do so,” he added. (Read more from “Trump Slashes Two Utah Protected Areas by More than 90%” HERE)

Same-Sex Couple Sues Surrogate who Refused to Abort Their 2-year-old Son Over a Minor Birth Defect

A same-sex male couple in Canada has sued a surrogate mother who believes she is being punished because she refused a request to abort the baby after doctors detected a cleft lip and a possible heart defect.

In a suit filed in Ontario Superior Court in May, the parents allege the surrogate mother failed to keep them informed about the baby’s health, put the baby at risk, caused them emotional distress and violated their confidentiality, The National Post reported.

The outlet, which reviewed the claim but withheld the identities of the mother and the couple, reported that the lawsuit came two years after the couple asked her to terminate the pregnancy at 22 weeks — a request she refused.

The lawsuit does not cite her refusal as a reason for the suit, but the mother and the surrogacy agency both say the relationship with the couple deteriorated after she decided to continue the pregnancy.

“That’s when everything changed … they wanted a termination,” Sally Rhoads-Heinrich, owner of Surrogacy in Canada Online, told the outlet. “What I find most difficult in this is they are suing the woman who brought their son to them. How is their son going to feel someday if he learns that?” (Read more from “Same-Sex Couple Sues Surrogate who Refused to Abort Their 2-year-old Son Over a Minor Birth Defect” HERE)

Erika Kirk Demands Full Transparency In Murder Trial Preliminary Hearing

Erika Kirk, represented by her attorney Jeffery Neiman, has moved that the Utah County court publish all admitted evidence in the courtroom, citing her right to be involved in the trial as a victim advocate.

Kirk, joined by her late husband Charlie Kirk’s parents, filed a motion to the court requesting that all currently admitted evidence be “published during the proceedings scheduled for July 9,” and that all evidence admitted for the rest of the hearing be “displayed openly and in real time, so that all persons lawfully present in the courtroom may see it,” ABC 4 reported. The filing requests that all evidence be published to those present in the courtroom; however, it does not address the camera or those in the media not physically present.

Throughout the proceedings so far, certain pieces of evidence have been admitted to the court, meaning they will be considered in the final ruling but not disclosed to those present in the courtroom. Most recently, 17 minutes of Tyler Robinson’s roommates’ 37-minute recorded testimony were admitted into evidence but redacted from public view.

The filing argues that the Kirk family was “denied the very thing their presence was meant to secure: their ability to meaningfully observe the preliminary hearing.” The motion also warns that a lack of transparency means “speculation and conspiracy theories related to the tragic assassination of Mr. Kirk will continue to proliferate in the public domain, breeding doubt and distrust in the judicial system.”

House Rebukes ‘Fall Back,’ ‘Spring Forward’ In Landslide Vote

The House of Representatives voted 308-117 Tuesday to pass a bill that seeks to make Daylight Saving Time permanent and put an end to switching clocks twice a year.

The Sunshine Protection Act of 2025, introduced by Republican Florida Rep. Vern Buchanan, is backed by President Donald Trump. However, the bill still has to pass the Senate before it reaches the president’s desk.

The bipartisan bill was supported by a majority of members from both parties. However 95 Democrats and 22 Republicans voted against it.

Buchanan praised the passage of his bill saying in a statement sent to the Daily Caller News Foundation that it is an “important step toward ending” an “outdated practice.”

“Permanent daylight saving time will improve public safety, promote healthier and more active lifestyles and give families more daylight to enjoy after work and school,” Buchanan’s statement continued. “I’m grateful to my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for supporting this bipartisan effort, and I urge the Senate to send this long-overdue reform to the president’s desk.” (Read more from “House Rebukes ‘Fall Back,’ ‘Spring Forward’ In Landslide Vote” HERE)

MAGA’s Paid Influencer Scandal Exploding Into Full View

To the Israeli government, enlisting former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale to claw back support among young conservatives who increasingly hold negative or downright hostile views of the Jewish state and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu probably seemed like a brilliant idea. Parscale’s digital influence campaign would all be kept under wraps; none would be the wiser. MAGA social media stars would keep pumping out the posts, and Americans would, after all was said and done, have a rosier picture of Israel and Bibi. In other words, a psyop was needed to convince America that Israel was still an ally.

But boy, did it backfire.

Responsible Statecraft, a publication of the Quincy Institute, first broke the story about Parscale’s registration as a foreign agent of Israel and his pro-Israel psyop, all the way back in September 2025. Since then, more and more stories have been written about the burgeoning scandal, which also involves paid MAGA influencers, though it has not quite reached the levels of scrutiny it truly deserves. Both the Daily Caller and the Daily Caller News Foundation have covered it several times, as well as a Parscale firm’s operation to harvest data from unwitting World Cup fans. Tuesday marked yet another report, characterized by some as a “bombshell.”

Indeed, something feels different about the latest revelations. The scandal seems to be picking up much more steam than it has in previous news cycles. It might be because sleazier details are coming to light in TIME Magazine’s new exposé, published Tuesday.

Brad Parscale, a veteran of Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns, heads Clock Tower X, an enterprise responsible for building several websites designed to broadcast pro-Israel messaging. Under a lucrative multimillion-dollar contract with a state-guided Israeli PR firm, Havas Media Network, Clock Tower X directed $6 million to SparkFire Technologies. The company uses AI bots designed to “persuade people” and advocate for Israel via text messages, emails, and web chats. Hawley Doesn’t Rule Out Russian Foul Play in Graham Death, Urges Full Toxicology Report, Autopsy

Monday on FNC’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) insisted U.S. investigators should at least consider the possibility of Russian foul play in the death of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

“One of your colleagues in the Senate, Senator Cornyn, is not ruling out foul play,” host Jesse Watters said. “Lindsey had gotten back from Ukraine that same day. You know the Russians are notorious. Do you think that that’s a possibility?”

U.S. Treasury Unveils Coin with Trump’s Face, $100 Bill Featuring Presidential Signature

The U.S. Treasury Department has unveiled a new $100 bill featuring President Donald Trump’s signature and a dollar coin featuring his portrait.

Trump’s signature will be included on all denominations of paper currency alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, making him the first president to put his name on cash.

“As Treasury secretary, I only have two mandates — the currency has to say ‘In God we trust’ somewhere on it, and we cannot have an image of a living person,” Bessent explained to Fox News host Jesse Watters while taking him on a tour of the department this week:

“But we have the president’s signature,” the secretary continued. “Which, again, I think is appropriate for the 250th.”

Bessent used “currency” in the “paper money” sense of the word. The department can, however, include living people’s images on special coins. (Read more from “U.S. Treasury Unveils Coin with Trump’s Face, $100 Bill Featuring Presidential Signature” HERE)

GOP Senator Casts Doubt on Mitch McConnell’s Health: ‘I Just Heard From a Source…’

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said a source has told him that a photo of Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released by his office to assuage concerns about the senator’s health is “an older photo.”

McConnell, 84, has been hospitalized since June 14. It was reported that paramedics were called to McConnell’s home that day to tend to someone unconscious due to cardiac arrest. The senator’s office refused to give any updates on McConnell until Sunday. In a statement, McConnell said he is hospitalized due to a fall. He added that he did not break any bones and did not endure a heart attack or stroke, though he did say he had a mild case of pneumonia.

The statement was accompanied by a photo of a smiling McConnell sitting up in a hospital bed with his wife Elaine Chao beside him. Some users on social media and members of the press questioned the authenticity of the photo.

Johnson joined Monday’s episode of The Balance on Real America’s Voice, where host Eric Bolling asked about the photo.

“I saw a picture that I’m not sure I believe is actually Mitch McConnell from the hospital after what I’ve heard and what I’ve seen,” Bolling said. “Do you believe Mitch McConnell is the one who said, ‘I’m ok. Here’s the picture of my wife, Elaine Chao and I’ in that hospital bed?” (Read more from “GOP Senator Casts Doubt on Mitch McConnell’s Health: ‘I Just Heard From a Source…’” HERE)

Christian Family Takes Fight to DC Embassy after Government Seizes Daughters over ‘Religious Extremism’

Christian parents whose two daughters were seized by the Swedish government more than three years ago brought their custody battle to Washington, D.C., on Friday.

A crowd of Romanian Americans gathered outside the Swedish Embassy in Washington on Friday morning to show their support for Daniel and Bianca Samson, Christian parents who have been separated from their daughters, Sara and Tiana, since December 2022.

The years-long battle began after Sara, then 11, made a false abuse allegation against her parents, stemming from an argument over not being allowed to wear makeup or have a smartphone. Despite Sara quickly admitting she had lied, Swedish social services removed the girls from the home.

Prosecutors found no evidence of abuse, but the state refused to return the girls, citing the family’s habit of attending church three times a week and media choices as evidence of “religious extremism.”

In court, Daniel Samson said officials labeled the parents “religious extremists” to justify their separation. He said lawyers used their parenting choices against them, such as the girls not being allowed to paint their nails, the lack of a television in the home and the reading of Bible stories, which he said authorities called “violent.” (Read more from “Christian Family Takes Fight to DC Embassy after Government Seizes Daughters over ‘Religious Extremism’” HERE)

Majority of American Adults Support Banning Social Media for Kids Under 16: poll

A majority of adults in the US support banning social media for kids under the age of 16, according to a new survey.

A Pew Research Center poll of nearly 10,000 adults across the US found that 56% — or roughly six-in-ten — support banning minors from using social media sites until they turn 16.

The vast majority of Americans also supported policies to enforce parental consent, age verification and time limits on minors’ access to social media, according to the survey.

Of the 9,750 adults surveyed between May 26 and June 1, only 21% opposed a social media ban for those under 16, with 23% of respondents saying they weren’t sure of their opinion on the topic.

Overwhelming support for the ban was seen across adults of all ages and regardless of whether the respondent was a parent to a child below the age of 16 — though parents of young kids were more in favor.

Support for the ban also crossed political demographics, with the majority of both Democratic and Republican respondents voting in favor of it. (Read more from “Majority of American Adults Support Banning Social Media for Kids Under 16: poll” HERE)
