Traumatized Witnesses Reveal Christa Pike’s Hair-Raising Question After Botched Execution

Media witnesses to the botched execution of Christa Pike described how the satanist killer lifted her head and asked if the pain was normal after a second round of the lethal drug cocktail was administered.

Pike, who would have been the first woman executed in Tennessee in more than 200 years, somehow survived the double dose of the highly potent sedative, Pentobarbital, Wednesday – with reporters describing how the failed execution played out unlike anything they had ever seen.

“They went through two rounds, and she was still breathing at the end, it was very ragged, she lifted her head up and was looking around at one point. She said there was a spot that was burning and hurting and asked if that was normal,” Catherine Sweeney of WPLN said at a press briefing after the execution was put on hold.

“None of that was normal.”

Pike, 50, was strapped to a gurney in the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution’s death chamber just before 7:30 p.m. CDT an hour after her stay of execution was overturned by the Supreme Court.

“When they told us to leave at 8:53 Christa Pike was still breathing. They did two separate rounds of pentobarbital – which I’ve never seen before – the protocol does say that they should do a second round if the person is still alive,” Sweeney recounted. Putin Orders Military Leaders to Target Civilians and Nuclear Facilities, Zelensky Warns: ‘No Rules Now’

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his generals to abandon the rules of war and step up attacks on civilian targets and nuclear energy sites, Ukrainian officials have warned.

“He [Putin] said there are no rules now,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking from a bomb shelter at a school in the capital, Kyiv, told the Financial Times on Thursday.

Ukrainian intelligence had intercepted information that Russia has now scrapped the constraints governing earlier air strikes as Moscow desperately seeks to regain the advantage after four and a half years of war.

Such attacks are intended not only to destroy infrastructure, but “to pressure people” and instil fear in civilians, Zelensky said.

With the front line now largely static and Russia unable to capture the eastern Donbas region, Putin is now pursuing “massive attack[s], massive killing,” the war leader added. VIDEO: Researchers Use Deep-Core Drilling in Search for Noah’s Ark

A team of researchers in Turkey has collected hundreds of samples and taken them to a laboratory for analysis as they continue probing what some believe to be the site of the biblical Noah’s Ark that is recorded in the book of Genesis.

It has been a full year since the Noah’s Ark Research Project began drilling and collecting soil samples at the boat-shaped Durupinar site near Mount Ararat, Fox News reported Friday.

There has been much speculation regarding the area and some geologists have argued it is a natural formation and not an ark, but the project’s vice president, Andrew Jones, said the team has been using deep-core drilling in the area for the first time, and they have been able to go down more than 60 feet to collect samples.

“That’s what we’ll be testing this winter. Just to see if we can find any type of man-made activity or something that suggests decayed wood,” he explained, adding that earlier results showed a difference in soil and the team was eager to investigate further.

Aerial video footage showed the site where the researchers have been working:

Flydubai Hijacker Was Barred by Oman, Flagged ‘Security Risk’ — Intended to Crash Jet in Israel

The Omani co-pilot accused of trying to crash a Flydubai passenger jet carrying more than 170 people, nearly all of them Israeli, had previously been barred from flying over concerns about extremist views and identified as a security risk — and has indicated to investigators that he intended to crash the aircraft in Israel, according to reports Friday.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter, that Oman had barred the co-pilot from flying over concerns that he had adopted radical ideological views. Despite the ban, the Omani national was later hired by Flydubai and allowed to serve as first officer on the sensitive route connecting the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

ABC News provided further details about the earlier warning signs, reporting that the co-pilot had been identified as a security risk while working as a trainee for Oman Air in 2024 after extremist materials were discovered in his possession, according to senior intelligence and law enforcement officials.

He was subsequently removed from flying but allowed to continue working for Oman Air in an administrative role, according to the report. Investigators are now trying to determine how he was later permitted to fly for Flydubai and ultimately became first officer aboard Wednesday’s flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv.

Now in UAE custody, the suspect is cooperating with authorities and “has indicated that his intent was to crash the aircraft in Israel,” ABC reported, citing sources briefed on the investigation. He was transferred to the UAE from Saudi Arabia on Thursday. (Read more from “Flydubai Hijacker Was Barred by Oman, Flagged ‘Security Risk’ — Intended to Crash Jet in Israel” HERE)

‘Extremely Rageful’ Trans NYT Exec ‘Rained Hell’ on Family for Years, In-Laws’ Lawyer Claims after Slaying

The attorney for the alleged killer in-laws painted a drastically different picture Thursday of the transgender New York Times executive gunned down in a Northern California parking lot.

Curtis Briggs stood in front of the court where Jonathan McKinsey’s mother-in-law Shili Chen and father-in-law Shouyong Zhang were attending proceedings Thursday — and told reporters the victim had “rained hell on his family for years.”

“He was extremely rageful, could not control his temper, abused his wife so badly at one point he fractured her spine, abused the kids so badly that a court in Alameda County had to send him to parenting classes,” Briggs said. “McKinsey was extremely violent and dangerous to his family,” he added.

McKinsey faced allegations of spousal abuse and domestic violence from wife Candice Jang, well before he died Sept. 26, after Zhang and Chen allegedly shot him to death.

The New York Times employee was charged last year on two counts of misdemeanor child abuse for the incident, but was ultimately released from jail on the condition that he take parenting classes. Jang called the police after McKinsey allegedly hit their young son. Jaw-Dropping Way Trump Allegedly Got Talked Into a War Is Leaked

Donald Trump spent hours asking Elon Musk’s AI chatbot about whether Venezuelans would celebrate if he captured leader Nicolas Maduro—then ordered the operation that seized the South American dictator weeks later.

The extraordinary account from a Trump insider was revealed in a new Time report offering a jaw-dropping glimpse of the president’s obsession with artificial intelligence, which he “officially” rebranded this week as “super intelligence.”

According to the report, Trump has “marveled at AI’s capabilities” ever since he returned to power, and during an Oval Office meeting with Elon Musk in December, he spent hours asking his Grok chatbot questions about his presidency and legacy.

At the time, the U.S. military had been conducting highly contentious lethal strikes against Venezuelan boats that Trump had claimed, without presenting any evidence, were smuggling drugs into America.

When the president asked Grok how Venezuelans might react to Maduro’s capture, the chatbot predicted many would welcome the downfall of the “repressive” leader, the official said. (Read more from “Jaw-Dropping Way Trump Allegedly Got Talked Into a War Is Leaked” HERE)

Two US Brothers Busted in $1.7M Hamas Fundraising Scheme — that was Exposed with Help from the NYPD

Two Louisiana brothers are facing terrorism charges for their alleged role in a twisted scheme to fund Hamas under the guise of Gaza humanitarian aid – and they were brought down with the help of the NYPD.

Abdel Adhami and his sibling Omar Adhami were busted in the Pelican State last month for allegedly raising money online and funneling it to Saleem Alzaq, a member of the terror group who regularly uses social media to post Hamas propaganda, according to newly unsealed federal indictments.

Abdel allegedly funneled more than $83,000 to Hamas from 2023 to 2026 while his brother is accused of sending $6,000.

According to Abdel’s complaint, he used several different Snapchat accounts to post Hamas propaganda and raise funds for the terrorist group, in addition to referring followers to a Telegram account.

The Telegram account “almost exclusively posted pro-HAMAS and pro-Palestinian Islamic Jihad messages, videos, and images, while soliciting donations,” the court docs said. (Read more from “Two US Brothers Busted in $1.7M Hamas Fundraising Scheme — that was Exposed with Help from the NYPD” HERE)

Trump Says He Regrets All 3 of His Supreme Court Picks

President Donald Trump said he regrets nominating all three of the Supreme Court justices he appointed during his first term, according to an interview published Thursday.

The president told TIME that Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, the three he placed on the high court between 2017 and 2020, have voted against him too often since taking the bench.

Asked whether he regretted the nominations, Trump pointed to the appointments he had handed each justice.

“Yeah. Yeah. What can I do? I put them in,” Trump said. “They voted against me too often. I was very—I gave them the position of a lifetime, and they vote against me often. They vote for me too.”

The president tied his frustration to the court’s rulings on birthright citizenship and his emergency tariffs. (Read more from “Trump Says He Regrets All 3 of His Supreme Court Picks” HERE)
