‘This Should NOT Be Included’ — Read Intel Officials’ Objections To ‘Extremely Sketchy’ Steele Dossier

Senior intelligence officials strenuously fought the demands of former FBI Director James Comey and other Obama intelligence chiefs to include the false and unverified Steele dossier in an official assessment of Russian activities ordered by President Barack Obama in the closing weeks of his presidency, records reviewed exclusively by The Federalist show. The records, which are related to ongoing criminal investigations into Comey and other top intelligence officials for their roles in launching the Russia collusion hoax, provide damning evidence of Obama intelligence chiefs’ malfeasance beyond the explosive information released Wednesday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Previous government investigations into the Russia collusion hoax dryly described the opposition merely as officials having “expressed concern” about using the infamous Steele dossier because it was “not completely vetted.” But records reviewed by The Federalist reveal career intelligence officials expressed outright shock at the poor quality of the reporting that the FBI repeatedly insisted be included in the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) — and objected to any reference to the dodgy dossier.

“Based solely on what we DO know now, my bottom line is this – unless FBI is prepared to provide much better sourcing – I believe this should NOT be included in the paper,” one official wrote, caps and all. Noting that the document had not been formally issued as an FBI product, the official stressed it suffered from “POOR SOURCE TRADECRAFT,” had “extremely sketchy” sourcing, and “simply does not meet normal [intelligence community] standards.”

The Steele dossier, a product of the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, was a collection of salacious and unverified stories about rival presidential candidate Donald Trump supposedly colluding with Russia. Clinton secretly funded the information operation and the group she hired to create the dossier spread the false information it contained to reporters, politicians, and the FBI.

Recent disclosures from Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe revealed that Obama and his top intelligence officials coordinated an information operation against President-elect Donald Trump to falsely paint him as having colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. First, they suppressed a Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB, that concluded that Russia’s election activities did not affect the election. President-elect Trump and his incoming National Security Advisor Mike Flynn would have received a copy of the PDB had the Obama administration not eighty-sixed the final report mere hours before its publication. Docs: Fired DOJ Official Sought To ‘Sway’ Trump Admin’s Handling Of Venezuelan Deportation Case

Aformer Justice Department official and outspoken critic of Trump judicial nominee Emil Bove advised his colleagues on how to “sway” the Trump administration’s litigation strategy in a case involving the deportation of Venezuelan gang members in a way he found to be personally favorable, The Federalist has learned.

The revelation came to fruition in new documents obtained by The Federalist that shine a light on Erez Reuveni’s conduct in a case (J.G.G. v. Trump) over President Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport Tren de Aragua gang members. Reuveni served as acting deputy director for the Office of Immigration Litigation until early April, when he was suspended and subsequently fired for failing to “zealously advocate on behalf of the United States,” according to Attorney General Pam Bondi.

While Reuveni’s dismissal came after his reportedly improper handling of the DOJ’s deportation of Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the new records acquired by The Federalist document his willingness to advance his own preferred litigation strategy over that of DOJ leadership.

The matter in question first kicked up on March 15, when Obama-appointed District Judge James Boasberg issued a temporary restraining order attempting to bar the Trump administration from deporting the group of illegal aliens under the AEA. As The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland reported, by the time Boasberg issued a written order that day enjoining the administration from deporting the group of Venezuelans covered under the president’s directive, “the Trump Administration had already removed two planes filled with illegal aliens from the United States.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later argued the foreign gang members “had already been removed from U.S. territory” by the time of Boasberg’s edict, and that “the written order and the administration’s actions do not conflict.” (Read more from “Docs: Fired DOJ Official Sought To ‘Sway’ Trump Admin’s Handling Of Venezuelan Deportation Case” HERE)

Iran Told to Comply with Nuclear Demands or Face Consequences after ‘Serious’ Meeting

European diplomats met with Iranians on Friday face-to-face for the first time since Israel and the U.S. bombed the country last month.

The “serious, frank and detailed” meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, lasted for around four hours and the officials all agreed to meet again for continued negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.

Sanctions that were lifted on Iran in 2015 after it agreed to restrictions and monitoring of its nuclear program could be reimposed if Iran doesn’t comply with requirements.

One of Europe’s E3 nations – Britain, France and Germany, who held the talks with Iran – could bring back sanctions under the “snapback” mechanism, which allows one of the European countries to bring back U.N. sanctions if Iran violates the conditions.

European leaders have also said that sanctions will start being reinstated by the end of August if there is no progress on reining in Iran’s nuclear program. (Read more from “Iran Told to Comply with Nuclear Demands or Face Consequences after ‘Serious’ Meeting” HERE)

‘Horrifying’: Feds Reveal Dozens of Organ Donors May Not Have Been Dead When ‘Procurement’ Processes Started

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services confirms it has launched a “major initiative” to reform America’s organ-transplant system after it stunningly revealed that dozens of organ donors may not have been dead when the process to procure their organs was started, and dozens more exhibited “neurological signs incompatible with donation.”

“Our findings show that hospitals allowed the organ procurement process to begin when patients showed signs of life, and this is horrifying,” explained HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“The organ procurement organizations that coordinate access to transplants will be held accountable. The entire system must be fixed to ensure that every potential donor’s life is treated with the sanctity it deserves,” he said.

A commentary posted at the Washington Stand on the situation highlighted one case:

“According to a partially redacted, eight-page report dated May 28, 2025, HHS received ‘an allegation of potentially preventable harm to a neurologically injured patient.’ This prompted the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the subdepartment of HHS that oversees the organ donation system, to launch an investigation after HRSA Administrator Thomas Engels assumed his post in February. The New York Times identified that victim as Anthony Thomas Hoover II, then 33 years old, who was hospitalized with a drug overdose in 2021. Hours after a doctor had declared him brain-dead, Hoover awakened to find medical staff preparing to remove his organs. ‘Even though the man cried, pulled his legs to his chest and shook his head, officials still tried to move forward.’ Hospital staff ultimately became ‘uncomfortable with the amount of reflexes’ Hoover showed, and a doctor ultimately refused to remove him from life-support. The man ultimately survived.”

Southwest Flight Makes Sudden Dive to Avoid near Midair Collision after Takeoff

Passengers aboard Southwest flight 1496 from Burbank, California to Las Vegas, Nevada experienced a frightening few seconds when the aircraft took a sudden nosedive to avoid a midair collision shortly after takeoff.

The dramatic maneuver caused passengers to fly up out of their seats and into the ceiling as children and adults screamed, fearing the worst.

Two flight attendants are being treated for injuries, a Southwest Airlines spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

Caitlin Burdi, who was on flight 1496, told Fox News Digital she had been on the same flight path before, so she knew the extreme turbulence was abnormal.

“About 10 minutes into the flight, we plummeted pretty far, and I looked around, and everyone was like, ‘OK, that’s normal’,” Burdi said. “Then, within two seconds, it felt like the ride Tower of Terror, where we fell 20 to 30 feet in the air. The screaming, it was terrifying. We really thought we were plummeting to a plane crash.” (Read more from “Southwest Flight Makes Sudden Dive to Avoid near Midair Collision after Takeoff” HERE)

U.S. Military Investigating Whether New Pistol Can Fire ‘Uncommanded’ after Death of Air Force Guard

The US military is investigating its new service pistol after the fatal shooting of an Air Force guard — following claims that the gun can fire without the trigger being pulled.

The Sig Sauer M18, the military version of the popular Sig P320 handgun, has been at the forefront of multiple lawsuits alleging that the weapon can fire unprompted.

It’s now been pulled from standard use at several facilities after a security service member was killed on Sunday at the FE Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming, when the gun discharged, officials said.

Air Force Global Strike Command issued the “stand down” order to all of its units until officials at their bases can investigate all of their M18s for any “safety concerns.”

“We want to make sure there’s nothing wrong with the weapon,” an Air Force official told the Washington Post.

The exact circumstances of the weapon firing were not released. (Read more from “U.S. Military Investigating Whether New Pistol Can Fire ‘Uncommanded’ after Death of Air Force Guard” HERE)

Report: Pro Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Dead at 71

Professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died, according to TMZ Sports. He was 71 years old

Emergency medical services were sent to the home of the legendary wrestler in Clearwater, Florida, early Thursday morning, to reports of a cardiac arrest.

Rumors that the wrestling icon’s health was deteriorating emerged a few weeks ago when his wife, Sky, dismissed rumors that Hogan was in a coma. Instead, she insisted that his heart was strong.

Hogan had recently undergone several surgeries, one of which prompted TMZ Sports to report last month that the “Hulkster” was on his “deathbed.”

No one in the world of professional wrestling, and few others in the realm of sports, impacted the generations that watched them more than Hulk Hogan. A symbol of patriotic strength, faith, and physical toughness, Hogan inspired children in the 1980s, 1990s, and beyond to reach their full physical and moral potential.

Trump Signs Executive Order Forcing Homeless off America’s Streets

President Trump signed an executive order Thursday calling on states and cities to end “endemic vagrancy” — and rehouse homeless people including drug addicts and those suffering from mental problems in “treatment centers.”

The order redirects federal funding to prioritize “shifting homeless individuals into long-term institutional settings for humane treatment through the appropriate use of civil commitment.”

On average, more than 274,000 people were sleeping on the streets each night last year under then-President Joe Biden, the order says.

“The overwhelming majority of these individuals are addicted to drugs, have a mental health disorder, or both,” the document says.

“The Federal Government and the States have spent tens of billions of dollars on failed programs that address homelessness but not its root causes, leaving other citizens vulnerable to public safety threats.” (Read more from “Trump Signs Executive Order Forcing Homeless off America’s Streets” HERE)

Austin Fire Chief Who Refused To Deploy Rescue Boats For Flood Victims Was A DEI Hire

Similar to the flood itself, the tragedy of the high waters sweeping through the Central Texas Hill Country has violently ebbed and flowed from the public consciousness. At the last count, the death toll has reached 135 souls, at least a dozen of them little girls at a Christian camp.

True to the spirit of the times, the disaster soon degenerated into yet another game of partisan mudslinging.

Of course, leftists immediately blamed DOGE cuts to disaster relief and climate change, neither of which was true. As for those on the right, when they were not actively debunking these claims, most of them concluded that this was just one of those unavoidable evils that occur in a fallen world.

However, there happens to be more to this story that few people on either side seem to discuss. There actually was someone who could have intervened in time to save many of the victims: Austin’s Fire Department Chief Joel Baker.

According to a public comment from the Austin Firefighters Association (AFA), Chief Baker had several opportunities to “send life-saving swift water boat teams to pre-deploy to Kerrville during devastating flooding” but decided against this out of a “misguided attempt to save money.” Evidently, he didn’t understand that “the fire department is fully reimbursed by the state to deploy,” even when someone explained “this very simple concept” to him. As such, the AFA overwhelmingly affirmed a vote of no confidence in Baker. (Read more from “Austin Fire Chief Who Refused To Deploy Rescue Boats For Flood Victims Was A DEI Hire” HERE)
