Amid the coronavirus pandemic, a first-grader in Gaithersburg, Md., used money he saved up to help those in need as a way to overcome fear with acts of love.

Cavanaugh Bell, 7, spent $600 of his own money, saved up from two birthdays and three Christmases, to purchase and package 65 “COVID-19 Carepacks” along with 31 hot meals from a local restaurant, Buca Di Beppo, to serve to senior citizens and help the local businesses impacted by being closed after Gov. Larry Hogan shut down restaurants Monday.

He filled several shopping carts with food and a bottle of bleach to hand out to seniors. One responded, “Oh, thank you, sweetie!”

The 7-year-old added in another video, “Don’t forget our senior citizens. They need to eat, too.” . . .

New Wuhan Horror: Witness Claims Coronavirus Victims Burned Alive!; Time to Put China on Lockdown for Its Dishonesty Amid Coronavirus Crisis

By WND. Coronavirus patients in the Chinese city where the pandemic originated, Wuhan, were put in body bags and burned alive at a funeral home, Radio Free Asia reported.

A source close to the funeral industry surnamed Ma claimed that some crematories have stopped working after running day and night, sometimes cremating several bodies at once.

Ma said reports have emerged of people restrained and forced into body bags when they were still moving.

“One old lady was saying that they put one guy into … a body bag when he wasn’t even dead yet, and took him off to the crematorium because there was no way of saving him,” the source said.

Time to Put China on Lockdown for Its Dishonesty Amid Coronavirus Crisis

By USA Today. There are many lessons to be learned from the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. But one is already clear: China needs to be isolated from the civilized world until its behavior improves. We are in the current situation, with deaths and economic devastation worldwide, because China handled this outbreak with its trademark mixture of dishonesty, incompetence and thuggery. Were China a more civilized nation, this outbreak would have been stopped early, and with far less harm, inside and outside of China. . .

But wherever the virus came from, China’s response was inept, dishonest and utterly inconsiderate of the rest of the world. A competent, honest response would have placed the world on notice much earlier. A China that cared about the rest of the world would have halted flights abroad while this disease was spreading, instead of allowing its citizens to spread willy-nilly around the globe. (As Brian Kennedy writes: “China seems to have taken the position that if they were to suffer the coronavirus, so too was the United States and the rest of the world. What else is to explain the continuation of flights from China to the United States at the rate of some 20,000 passengers a day, until President Trump wisely shut them down?”) . . .

This calls for a response.

The response needs to be harsh enough to teach the Chinese government a lesson, which means pretty harsh, as they appear to still think they can brazen this out. Among other things, the United States — and ideally the world community at large — need to sharply reduce economic relations with China. In particular, no one should be relying on them for medicines, medical equipment and other vital goods. (China’s state news service threatened to plunge America into a “mighty sea” of coronavirus by withholding critical medications.) Chinese scientists should no longer have easy access to Western laboratories or universities. Chinese political leaders should no longer find it easy to travel the world. Across the United States, there are potentially millions of chickens laying eggs every day, year-round, for flu vaccines. According to CNN, during the most recent flu season alone (to the end of February), 140 million eggs could have been used for vaccines. And hens only lay a single egg each day.

The cost of the chickens isn’t public, but one three-year contract between the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a private company for year-long egg supplies cost $42 million, and CNN reported the HHS has a number of contracts meaning the actual cost could be worth tens of millions of dollars.

Rick Bright, director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority in Washington told NPR’s Planet Money, after the avian flu scare in 2001, to make sure the country was ready for a pandemic, the US government secured a: “large number of chicken flocks.” . . .

COVID-19: How the Chinese Communist Party Criminally Orchestrated a Global Pandemic Holocaust

The pandemic spread of COVID-19 has been guided by the Chinese Communist Party since the first cases emerged in China in early November; not December. The number of COVID-19 cases that China reported to the WHO (82,000 cases and 3,300 deaths) amounts to one of the greatest criminal deceptions in history. The true number of deaths in China from the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak is likely up in the hundreds of thousands; if not millions. However, even before China begin erecting make-shift hospitals in Wuhan at the height of the outbreak, it was already attempting to rewrite the COVID-19 narrative that it had the epidemic well under control – despite the fact that it had detained and executed whistle-blowers who spoke out against the regime’s handling of the crisis. And despite the fact that the CCP had also let 5 million potentially-infected people slip out of Wuhan China before enforcing the lock-down. None of these people were screened for SARS-CoV-2 according to the Wall Street Journal.

But China’s criminal negligence with this outbreak goes even beyond this. The Chinese Communist Party sent it agents all over the globe to scour the world for face masks beginning in late December and January. Their goal was to buy up all the face masks they could find in bulk in Western nations and ship them back to China. This directive left Western nations vulnerable and basically defenseless – even woefully unprepared whenever the virus struck in full force. PPE procurement by China and Chinese nationals was happening all over the US, while most Americans were sound asleep or too busy engrossed in social media or sports to even notice what was transpiring around them. China Outraged After Brazil Minister Suggests COVID-19 Is Part of ‘Plan for World Domination’

China has demanded an explanation from Brazil after the far-right government’s education minister linked the coronavirus pandemic to Beijing’s “plan for world domination”, in a tweet imitating a Chinese accent.

In the latest incident to strain ties between the two nations, minister Abraham Weintraub insinuated China was behind the global health crisis.

“Geopolitically, who will come out stronger from this global crisis?” he wrote on Twitter Saturday. “Who in Brazil is allied with this infallible plan for world domination?”

In the original Portuguese, his tweet substituted the letter “r” with capital “L” – “BLazil” instead of “Brazil,” for example – in a style commonly used to mock a Chinese accent.

China’s embassy in Brazil condemned Weintraub’s “absurd and despicable” tweet, calling it “highly racist”. “The Chinese government expects an official explanation from Brazil,” tweeted ambassador Yang Wanming. Dr. Fauci Says the World May Never Get Back to ‘Normal’ After the Pandemic; U.S. Records Highest Death Toll in Single Day

By PJ Media. Dr. Anthony Fauci has a somber warning for people who are hoping the world will get back to “normal” soon.

Speaking at the coronavirus White House briefing on Sunday, Fauci said “If you want to get back to pre-coronavirus, that might not ever happen in the sense that the threat is there.” He said that even with a vaccine, the coronavirus will remain a threat.

Fox News:

Fauci said Sunday that people must be prepared for a resurgence next year, which is why officials fighting the pandemic are pushing for a vaccine and clinical trials for therapeutic interventions so “we will have interventions that we did not have” when this started.

He said Monday that he is encouraged about therapies and “confident that over a period of time we will get a good vaccine, that we will never have to get back to where we are right now.”

“If ‘back-to-normal’ means acting like there never was a coronavirus problem, I don’t think that’s going to happen until we do have a situation where you can completely protect the population,” Dr. Fauci said. “But when we say ‘getting back-to-normal’ we mean something very different from what we’re going through right now – ’cause right now we are in a very intense mitigation.”

Coronavirus: U.S. Records Highest Death Toll in Single Day

By BBC. The US recorded the most coronavirus deaths in a single day with 1,736 fatalities reported on Tuesday.

It brings the total number of deaths in the country to 12,722, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The US has more than 398,000 confirmed cases, the highest number in the world. Global cases have exceeded 1.4 million.

Why Are Dairy Farmers Being Forced to Dump Millions of Gallons of Milk While Grocery Stores Ration? (VIDEO)

The coronavirus panic has hit America hard, as restaurants and bars close, and people practice social distancing to stem the spread of the virus. As shoppers make runs on basic household goods like toilet paper, hand sanitizer, bleach, and groceries like eggs and milk, grocery stores all across America have taken to limiting purchases. Signs are now common that instruct shoppers that they can only purchase a certain number of packages of noodles, or jugs of milk, per day. So why are dairy farmers being told to dump huge amounts of milk instead of shipping it to distribution centers?

It seems counterintuitive that America’s dairy producers force farmers to dispose of their milk at the very time when it’s become harder and harder to find at grocery stores across the country. Despite record-high demand in the consumer market, it has not filled the crater left in the wholesale market. As restaurants close all over America, wholesale markets for dairy products have largely shut down.

Transitioning the supply chain from wholesale to retail markets has proven challenging. On top of that, retail markets have not kept up, resulting in gluts of milk on the market. In a time when grocery stores have shortages of a lot of different items, dairy farmers have no choice but to dump their supplies.

“Obama Judge” Rejects 2nd Amendment, Says States, Counties May Force Gun Stores to Close

Even though Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has reluctantly agreed that gun stores can open in his jurisdictions, a lawsuit challenging his earlier closures is still winding its way through the federal court system, and Monday afternoon U.S. District Judge Andre Birotte ruled against the Second Amendment organizations that brought the suit, refusing their request for a temporary injunction and setting up the possibility that Villanueva could once again order gun stores to close.

In his decision, Birotte declared that Los Angeles County and the state of California were within their emergency powers to close gun stores, ruling that the orders should be viewed under an intermediate standard of judicial scrutiny. That muddy middle legal ground allows for judges like Birotte to sign off on almost any gun control law that doesn’t amount to a complete and permanent ban on entire classes of firearms. As the judge wrote in his order denying the temporary injunction:

In applying intermediate scrutiny to the County and City Orders, the Court must consider (1) whether the government’s stated objective is significant, substantial, or important, and (2) whether there is a reasonable fit between the challenged regulation and the asserted objective. See Chovan, 735 F.3d at 1139. The City’s and County’s stated objective—reducing the spread of COVID-19, a highly dangerous and infectious disease—undoubtedly constitutes an important government objective. Moreover, because this disease spreads where “[a]n infected person coughs, sneezes, or otherwise expels aerosolized droplets containing the virus,” (Dkt. No. 21) the closure of non-essential businesses, including firearms and ammunition retailers, reasonably fits the City’s and County’s stated objectives of reducing the spread of this disease. Accordingly, Plaintiffs fail to demonstrate a likelihood of success on the merits of the Second Amendment claim against the County and City Orders.

Trump Urges Navy Not to ‘Destroy’ Captain Who Wrote Coronavirus Letter; Trump Says He Would Not Have Asked Navy Secretary to Resign

By Washington Examiner. President Trump does not want to see the career of Navy Capt. Brett Crozier “destroyed” because of his decision to speak out about the coronavirus aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

During a press conference on Monday, Trump said that he may “get involved” in the Navy’s handling of Crozier’s case after he was fired from his role as commander of the ship. In a series of questions about Crozier’s situation, Trump said he believes the captain made a mistake by speaking to the press rather than following the military chain of command but noted that he doesn’t want the mistake to ruin Crozier’s career.

“He’s the captain of a ship. He’s a very important person of a very expensive ship, a nuclear-powered ship. He shouldn’t be writing letters like that. But it happens. Sometimes I’ll write a letter that I’ll say ‘I wish I didn’t send it.’ Not too often, but it happens,” he said.

Trump later added, “I am going to look into it, and I’m going to see maybe we can do something because I’m not looking to destroy a person’s life, who’s had an otherwise stellar career, as I understand it. I looked at his file just now because I’ve been seeing what’s going on. Trump Says He Would Not Have Asked Navy Secretary to Resign

By New York Post. President Trump said Tuesday that acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly didn’t have to resign for giving a profane speech justifying his firing of USS Theodore Roosevelt commander Capt. Brett Crozier, but Trump said he hopes it will end the controversy.

Crozier warned last week that COVID-19 was spreading among his 5,000-man crew. Modly removed him from command, telling his former crew he was “too naive or too stupid” if he believed the email would not leak.

“The whole thing was very unfortunate,” Trump said at a press conference Tuesday night.

“The captain should not have written a letter, he didn’t have to be Ernest Hemingway. He made a mistake but he had a bad day,” Trump said.

He added on Modly’s resignation: “I had heard he did because he didn’t want to cause any disturbance for our country… because he wouldn’t have had to resign, I would not have asked him. I don’t know him. I didn’t speak to him, but he did that I think just to end that problem. And I think in really many ways that was a very unselfish thing for him to do.”

George Soros-Funded Group to Governors: Release as Many Prisoners as Possible

The Brennan Center for Justice, which is heavily financed by George Soros, has submitted a letter to the governors of all fifty states urging them to use executive action to “release as many people as possible from incarceration” due to coronavirus fears “provided they do not pose serious public safety threats.”

The letter cited concern that the U.S. prison population could face greater risk of illness and death than the general public due to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.

The Brennan Center recommended that all governors use the power of clemency where they can.

The document states:

Ideally, people who are older, medically compromised, or nearing the end of their prison terms could have their sentences commuted to time served and be released outright. We urge you to grant the broadest relief to the largest group of people possible, but should this prove impracticable, we urge you to consider clemency relief in other forms, such as reprieves, which temporarily suspend a sentence, or conditional pardons.
