WATCH: Beto Announces He’s Running for President; Responses Online Are Hilarious

After embarking on a soul-searching road trip following his disappointing defeat at the hands of Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, Beto O’Rourke has finally come to his decision about ascending to the highest office in the land: He’s “in.” The only question is, are you?

“I am running to serve you as the next president,” Beto tweeted Thursday morning. “The challenges we face are the greatest in living memory. No one person can meet them on their own. Only this country can do that, and only if we build a movement that includes all of us. Say you’re in: BetoORourke.com.”

The tweet also presents Beto’s announcement video, which features the failed senatorial candidate seated next to his beaming wife as he lays out his optimistic vision for his transcendent presidency.

O’Rourke has presented himself as somewhat of a centrist politician, though he’s taken a radical position on illegal immigration, not only opposing the building of a security wall on the southern border but actually calling for the dismantling of existing walls. Leading up to his big announcement, rumors had been circulating that Joe Biden may have already reached out to Beto as a potential running mate should the former vice president announce his own candidacy, as most expect he’ll do. “Advisers to former Vice President Joe Biden, who is considering a White House run of his own, said in December that they’d approached O’Rourke’s camp about his being a vice presidential candidate,” Marketwatch reported in February.

But this guy definitely didn’t donate: “Ted Cruz easily beat you and @realDonaldTrump will crush you,” he wrote, raining on the “Beto proud” parade. “Our economy is thriving, our climate is far cleaner than China or India and improving, GDP is fantastic and we don’t need illegal aliens, child trafficking, Mexican Drug Cartels or socialist agendas in US #BorderWall”

Remington Can Be Sued Over Sandy Hook Shooting

A divided Connecticut Supreme Court ruled Thursday that gun manufacturer Remington can be sued for alleged wrongful marketing of its Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, which was used in the mass murder of children and teachers at Newtown’s Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. . .

A lower court judge previously threw out a wrongful death lawsuit against the company, saying it violated a 2005 federal law called the Protection of Lawful Commerce Act. Justices reversed that ruling in a 4-3 decision, with the majority agreeing that under Connecticut’s advertising laws, firearm companies may be held liable, The Associated Press reported.

Remington is being sued by the relatives of nine victims who were murdered in the massacre, and by one survivor. On Dec. 14, 2012, 20 children and six educators were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Attorney Joshua Koskoff, who represents the plaintiffs, told the AP, “The families’ goal has always been to shed light on Remington’s calculated and profit-driven strategy to expand the AR-15 market and court high-risk users, all at the expense of Americans’ safety.

The lawsuit alleges that Remington has “for years sold AR-15s in a manner that foreseeably leads to the use of those weapons by unauthorized and unsafe users” by marketing them as weapons used by soldiers in battle. (Read more from “Remington Can Be Sued Over Sandy Hook Shooting” HERE)

Megachurch Pastor Who Once Refused to Call Abortion Sin Switches Gears, Now Says It’s ‘Shameful and Demonic’

Carl Lentz, pastor at Hillsong Church NYC, is backtracking on comments concerning abortion that he made in 2017 on “The View.”

Previously, Lentz refused to call abortion by its name: sin. “God’s the judge,” Lentz told “The View” co-host Joy Behar after she asked him if he believed abortion is a sin. . .

Lentz uploaded an Instagram post in which he called abortion “shameful” and “demonic” on response to New York’s passage of a brutal abortion law that allows abortions after 24 weeks’ gestation. You can read more about the new law here.

“I spent hours talking to lawyers and people who hold opposing views on this issue,” he added. “Although it is layered and there is language in it that some are claiming will protect mothers in peril, the only way I can describe where we are and where this is all headed … is evil, shameful and demonic.”

This cannot stand. …I know @hillsongnyc and many many other churches and organizations have been working hard for years to create options and help for those dealing with a pregnancy that is overwhelming for many reasons. And we will continue to do so. I’m also aware that often “pro-life politics”(while also supporting the death penalty, of course) have been quick to condemn abortion and the people that have them and then be invisible and hypocritical when it comes to helping women in need, in poverty, those who cannot gain access to proper medical care and creating policies that can help those that dont choose abortion. Those are facts. But this law, isn’t about politics. This is about generations of babies that have no defense. Israel Launches Airstrikes on ‘Terror Sites in Gaza’ After Attack on Tel Aviv

The Israeli military early Friday announced it had launched airstrikes on “terror sites in Gaza,” a retaliatory move after rockets blamed on the militant group Hamas were fired on Tel Aviv.

The strikes were occurring in Khan Younis, roughly 15 miles south of Gaza City, according to The Associated Press. There were no immediate reports of injuries. . .

The military later said they confirmed “the rockets fired from #Gaza at #TelAviv earlier tonight were launched by the Hamas terrorist organization.”

Israeli media initially reported that one of the rockets was intercepted by the country’s Iron Dome missile defense system. However, the IDF later said neither of the rockets was, adding that they landed in the sea or on open land.

Obama DOJ Blocked FBI From Scrutinizing Clinton Foundation

House Republicans have released the transcript of a closed-door interview of disgraced and fired former FBI official Peter Strzok, who acted as a point man for both the FBI’s Hillary Clinton email server investigation and its Trump-Russia probe.

The Strzok testimony, which is from June 2018, is creating a buzz on social media and appears to offer more insight into the FBI’s activities during the 2016 presidential election season.

Strzok testified that Hillary Clinton and the Department of Justice seemingly struck a deal that blocked the FBI from accessing her private, home-brew email server for information relevant to the Clinton Foundation.

Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner reports:

When asked by then-majority general counsel Zachary Somers if “the Clinton Foundation was on the server”, Strzok testified that he believed it was “on one of the servers, if not the others.” But Strzok stressed that due to an agreement between the [Department of Justice] and Clinton, they were not allowed to search Clinton Foundation emails for information that could help in their investigation.

Strzok further explained in his testimony:

“According to the [DOJ] attorneys, we lacked probable cause to get a search warrant for those servers and projected that either it would take a very long time and/or it would be impossible to get to the point where we could obtain probable cause to get a warrant.”

The Clinton Foundation has developed a reputation as a corrupt influence-peddling racket. The Department of Justice under President Trump has reportedly launched an investigation into whether the foundation acted as a “pay-to-play” scheme.

The release of the Peter Strzok transcripts comes the same week that Republicans released the transcripts from an interview of Lisa Page, Strzok’s FBI colleague and mistress. Page’s bombshell testimony confirmed that Hillary Clinton received what amounted to a secret pre-pardon from the Obama Department of Justice.

Both Strzok and Page were dismissed from Robert Mueller’s special counsel staff after texts surfaced showing that they not only had personal animosity against candidate Trump, but they were also prepared to take action in their official capacity as FBI agents to “stop” him from winning the 2016 election. The two also discussed an “insurance policy,” which Page later admitted was the Russia investigation, that was intended to delegitimize Trump’s mandate. Rep. Tlaib Endorses Boycott of Israeli University

When it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., endorses boycott of Israel at all costs — even disregarding over 7,000 Arab college students at an Israeli university.

The newly elected congresswoman was photographed this week endorsing a boycott against a prestigious university in Israel. But this is not simply another Israeli university. The school that Rep. Tlaib is attempting to isolate has the highest proportion of Arab students in the entire country.

The University of Haifa has the largest percentage of Arab students in Israel: 41.1 percent of the 18,000 students enrolled there are Arabs, according to a 2017 Israeli government study. Rep. Tlaib is targeting a student population that contains over 7,000 Arabs.

Tlaib, an ethnic Arab whose parents grew up in territories controlled by the U.K. and later Jordan, identifies as a Palestinian national. She has fully endorsed a total boycott of the State of Israel. She has referred to the country as an apartheid state, claiming that the country suppresses religious and ethnic minorities. However, Israel’s Arab population is thriving. The government study shows that Arab-Israeli enrollment in the university system continues to break all-time highs year after year, and the number of Arabs students attending universities in Israel has grown over 79 percent since 2010.

Rep. Tlaib’s obsession with the world’s lone Jewish state became clear on her first day in Congress, when her staff replaced Israel with “Palestine” on a map in her office.

Her boycott against Israel is hardly the only evidence of the Michigan congresswoman’s Islamic supremacist bigotry. She has frequently advocated for radical groups and individuals on the campaign trail and during her time in Congress.

Tlaib’s personal associations show a disturbing trend. She has been photographed with supporters of U.S.-designated terrorist organizations in Hamas and Hezbollah. Moreover, she regularly keynotes fundraising events held by the Hamas-tied Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). This weekend, she is scheduled to speak at a CAIR-Michigan fundraiser alongside a radical Imam who has described homosexuality as a “disease” and a “repugnant shameless sin” that should be punishable by death. Levin: ‘There Is Absolutely No Legitimate, Historical, or Constitutional Basis to Impeach This President’

Tuesday night on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin ripped into all the “loose talk” about impeaching President Trump being thrown around by politicians and media figures.

Levin took issue with the seemingly common idea that impeachment is merely a political process. “It’s not a criminal process; we know that, but it’s not a purely political process, either,” Levin explained. “It is a constitutional process.”

“This loose talk about impeachment, the inability of some conservatives to effectively engage, is troubling,” Levin added.

“There is absolutely no legitimate, historical, or constitutional basis to impeach this president,” Levin concluded, “yet they keep throwing the word around.”

Levin also explained the nature of impeachment as the Founders understood it, why president Bill Clinton was impeached, and what to really expect when special counsel Robert Mueller releases the findings of his investigation.

Joe Biden Just Dropped a Major Hint About Whether He’s Running for President

Speaking yesterday to the International Association of Fire Fighters’ annual conference in Washington D.C., former Vice President Joe Biden dropped a major hint about whether or not he’ll be getting into the 2020 race for the White House.

According to a number of Democrat operatives I’ve spoken to, Biden will make his latest presidential run official in early April. Former President Barack Obama will withhold his endorsement until the Democrat primary concludes with a clear winner.

Teen Suspended for Posting Bible Verses in Response to Pride Flags

A student in Ohio claims she received a day of in-school suspension after she hung Bible verses on walls and lockers in response to LGBTQ pride flags decorating the halls. The teen also alleges that her principal said she was “targeting the [Gay-Straight Alliance] organization.”

In a video shared on her mother’s Facebook page, Gabby Helsinger details the incident that occurred at Lebanon High School. Her mother, Tina Helsinger, captioned the video, “Lebanon schools celebrates [sic] evil and punishes righteousness!!”

“On Thursday when I got to school, I see that there were pride flags, posters around my school,” Gabby said in the video. “And I felt the need to write down some Bible verses so I could put them around my school. And I wrote them down and I put them around the lockers, the walls.” It is unknown which Bible verses Gabby chose to share with her peers. . .

She additionally noted that she had “seen that there [were] people in my school that needed help… They don’t need to be living in the confusion of wondering if they should be gay, bi, lesbian, trans — anything like that. And I know that God is the only way that they can be healed by that, and that’s why I did it. I was not targeting any kind of organization.”

When she arrived at the principal’s office, according to Gabby, he asked her why she hung the Bible verses. “And I said, ‘Because I wanted to spread the word of God.’ And [the principal] goes, ‘Well did you have permission?’ And I said, ‘No.’ I didn’t know you had to have permission because people do it a lot — putting Post-It notes on people’s lockers, so I just did it.” (Read more from “Teen Suspended for Posting Bible Verses in Response to Pride Flags” HERE)

Elizabeth Warren Finds an Unlikely Ally in Ted Cruz

One of Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) main talking points over the last few weeks has been about the monopoly technology websites, like Facebook, Google and Amazon have. In her mind, it sets a dangerous precedent for censoring public debate.

Recently, Warren’s presidential campaign had ads on Facebook talking about her stance on breaking up big tech monopolies, and in particular, Facebook (yes, it is ironic). The social media giant responded by pulling the ads. Eventually, the ads were restored but the whole debacle proves Warren’s point.

For years, conservatives have said that our speech is being stifled. They’ve “shadow banned” us to keep us from making our voices heard, all in hopes of permanently silencing us. People who disagree or call out big tech are often suspended from the website or their interactions/mentions are limited. Think of how many people have been banned from Twitter, YouTube and Facebook alone. Alex Jones. Laura Loomer. Jacob Wohl. Whether or not you agree with their politics, positions or statements, one thing is for sure: they’ve been silenced for not agreeing with the company’s leadership.
