Ted Cruz Proposes Emergency Bill to Address Child Separation – Here’s What It Does

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) offered Monday an emergency proposal meant to address and mitigate the crisis of family separations by immigration enforcement officials at the border. . .

Cruz’s bill would double the number of federal immigration judges, from about 375 to 750, in order to more quickly adjudicate asylum and illegal immigration cases.

It would also set up additional temporary shelters to accommodate families who would under current policy be separated.

Cruz’s bill also says that families should stay together except on two occasions, when there is criminal conduct or there appears a threat of harm to children. . .

The media is attempting to place all the blame of family separation on President Donald Trump, but the administration has pointed out that the law that led to the policy has been in place for more than a decade. Trump Signs Executive Order to Establish Proposed ‘Space Force’

President Trump announced on Monday that he wants the Department of Defense and the Pentagon to immediately begin creating a sixth branch of the military — an independent “Space Force.” . . .

The president told the council: “When it comes to defending America, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space.

“We are going to have the Air Force and we are going to have the Space Force, separate but equal…My administration is reclaiming America’s heritage as the world’s greatest spacefaring nation.” . . .

The Commander in Chief also expressed his vision for reviving the US space program. As part of that effort, Trump pledged to launch new moon missions and to eventually send astronauts to Mars. He reiterated that he does not want “China and Russia and other countries leading us.” . . .

Director of the Aerospace Security Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Todd Harrison, took to Twitter on Monday to make several points about the Space Force initiative. In his first post, Harrison said of the president’s announcement that this was “at least the third time he has said something like this publicly, so it’s not completely out of the blue.”

Anti-Trump FBI Agent Willing to Testify Before Congress — and Leave No Stone Unturned

By The Blaze. FBI agent Peter Strzok, whose controversial text messages with an ex-FBI lawyer exposed apparent wrongdoing inside the Department of Justice, is willing to testify before Congress, his lawyer said in a surprise letter Sunday.

Strzok’s announcement comes just days after DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz released his report on the DOJ’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, which Strzok helped lead. . .

According to the Washington Post, Strzok’s attorney, Aitan Goelman, sent House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) a letter Sunday revealing his client is ready to tell his side of the story and potentially “clear his name.”

Goelman said Strzok is willing to testify without immunity and would not invoke his Fifth Amendment rights in response to any question from a member of Congress. He also said Strzok is willing to testify before any committee that requests him. . .

Strzok, in addition to being a key agent in the FBI’s Clinton investigation, was also a lead agent in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation before being removed last year when the internal DOJ watchdog discovered his anti-Trump text messages. Trump Blasts ‘Sick Loser’ Peter Strzok, ‘Sick Deal’ With Comey, Mueller Connections

By Fox News. President Trump took to Twitter Sunday to blast the FBI agent who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team after sending anti-Trump text messages to his mistress, calling his actions “Witch Hunt!” and “a really sick deal.”

Trump tweeted: “Why was the FBI’s sick loser, Peter Strzok, working on the totally discredited Mueller team of 13 Angry & Conflicted Democrats, when Strzok was giving Crooked Hillary a free pass yet telling his lover, lawyer Lisa Page, that ‘we’ll stop’ Trump from becoming President?”

The president added, “Also remember that they all worked for Slippery James Comey and that Comey is best friends with Robert Mueller. A really sick deal, isn’t it?”

Through his lawyer, Strzok announced Sunday he’s willing to testify before the House Judiciary Committee or any other congressional panel that invites him. The reported offer to testify came three days after Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz wrote that Strzok’s messaged conversations with FBI attorney Lisa Page created the appearance that investigative decisions may have been motivated by bias against then-candidate Trump. Reporter Learns the Hard Way Not to Interrupt the Donald, Gets Blindsided by Response

A reporter who tried to interrupt President Donald Trump during a news conference found out the hard way that interrupting the Donald isn’t a good idea during an impromptu news conference on Friday. Now, the media is up in arms. . .

Afterward, he decided to meet with reporters for a few minutes to field some questions. North Korea, as you can imagine, was at the top of the agenda

“I want to have a good relationship with North Korea,” Trump said. “I want to have a good relationship with many other countries. And what I have done, if you remember, if you are fair, which most of you aren’t … but if you are fair, when I came in, people thought we were probably going to war with North Korea.”

Apparently, one reporter began yelling a question at him, which earned the opprobrium of the president with just three words: “Quiet. Quiet. Quiet,” Trump said as he held out his hand.

Study: Women Who Abort Are 81 Percent More Likely to Have Mental Health Issues Than Those Who Kept Babies

Hundreds of women experience serious if not fatal complications during abortions but at least it’s not more, a study posits, alleging that abortion is safe. . .

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention however, reports that 36 women died from abortion complications between 2009 and 2013.

Women who had abortions were also 81 percent more likely to experience mental health problems than their peers who had not aborted an unborn child, according to a recent study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry.

Of the women who aborted, 10 percent of mental health issues that arose thereafter were positively attributable to abortion.

Planned Parenthood has aborted over 7,132,130 babies since Margaret Sanger’s founding of the abortion organization. Planned Parenthood doctors aborted more than 328,348 unborn babies in 2016, and killed 6,803,782 unborn babies between 1978 and 2016, according to CNS News. Men: Your Cell Phone May Be Nuking Your Johnson

Boys and men of all ages may not feel any heat or sensation from a carrying a cell phone in their pants’ pockets. That doesn’t mean their private parts aren’t being exposed to harmful radiation.

Dr. Joel M. Moskowitz, Ph.D. of University of California, Berkeley (SaferEMR.com) provided a great picture along with research confirming that cell phone radiation can harm sperm

EHTrust.org has also provided dozens of references to research confirming this on their website.

Lloyd Burrell of Electricsense also highlighted and detailed many studies which confirm this as well.

If you’ve ever wondered how much radiation is being emitted from your cell phone, here’s an Acoustimeter measuring radiation from a “smart” phone.

Here’s an Acoustimeter measuring the radiation from a flip phone:

As you can see, anyone carrying a cell phone in his pocket is experiencing one heck of a weenie roast even if he doesn’t feel or smell it.

Radiation exposure is cumulative and your sperm isn’t the only thing that’s affected by it. Have you noticed that the male actors featured in Viagra commercials continue to look younger and fitter?

Cell phone manufacturers are still legally obligated to provide safety guidelines and warnings about placing cell phones directly against the body. These guidelines are outdated though and cell phone companies are warning shareholders – not consumers – that eventually they may be held liable for their products causing harm.

Cell phones aren’t the only devices that use wireless WiFi radiation to operate. WiFi isn’t magic even though marketing campaigns certainly make it seem like it is.

Technology use on TV, films, and marketing– even for prescription drugs – is often portrayed being used in ways that violate warnings and medical recommendations.

Media sources have been referring to The Telecom Industry as “Big Wireless” and comparing them to “Big Tobacco” for many years.

Digital, electronic, and wireless devices have also been reported and recalled for catching fire and exploding. MANY TIMES this has happened while people were carrying cell phones inside their pants’ pockets.

Protecting the “family jewels” requires keeping these types of devices as far away from them as possible. It’s a no brainer.

Some Say Child Detention Centers Are ‘Concentration Camps.’ but the Truth Paints Much Different Picture.

In light of the controversy surrounding the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” illegal immigration policy, many have accused the administration of operating policies similar to Nazi Germany, while others have outright compared child detention centers to concentration camps. . .

According to Breitbart News, once unaccompanied minors — who arrive to the U.S. with their parents or alone — are placed in detention camps, they experience a standard of living higher than millions of American children who live in poverty.

Breitbart reported about 41,000 unaccompanied minors were placed in camps last year, which are operated by the Office of Refugee Settlement. Once there, data shows the federal government spent an average of $34,660 caring for each child on an annual basis or about $96 per day.

Meanwhile, federal data shows there were more than 13 million American children living in poverty in 2016. That means they lived in a household where the annual income was $24,563 — for a family of four — or less. That equates to just $68 per day.

5 Killed When SUV Packed With Illegal Aliens Crashes on Texas Highway

By The Daily Caller. An SUV carrying a dozen illegal immigrants crashed while trying to flee border agents in Texas on Sunday, killing five people who were ejected from the speeding vehicle, according to local media reports.

The crash occurred around noon, when Border Patrol agents attempted to stop a Chevrolet Suburban traveling on Highway 85 in Dimmit County, a rural expanse near the Texas-Mexico border.

With border agents giving chase, the SUV reached speeds of about 100 miles an hour before the driver lost control and caused the vehicle to roll over, San Antonio News4 reported, citing the Dimmit County Sheriff’s office. As many as 12 illegal immigrants were ejected during the rollover, four of whom died at the scene. . .

A total of 14 people were in the SUV, including the driver and a person sitting in the front passenger seat. Both are believed to be U.S. citizens and are currently in police custody, Dimmit County Sheriff Marion Boyd said.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials said some of the injured migrants were transported by medial helicopters to San Antonio Military Medical Center and others were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. 5 Dead After SUV Being Chased by Border Patrol Crashes

By News 4 San Antonio. . .A border patrol agent observed three vehicles traveling one behind the other on FM 2664 and suspected a smuggling attempt was happening, the agency said in a statement. The agent was able to stop one of the vehicle and called out a description of the other two. A second border patrol agent was able to pull over the second vehicle but the third refused to stop. The agency said multiple arrest were made in both vehicles.

The passenger, also believed to be a U.S. citizen, is currently in custody.

Boyd said there needs to be a wall built because this is a “real problem” in the area.

The incident is under investigation by the US Border Patrol, Texas Department of Public Safety, Dimmit County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Professional Responsibility, Border Patrol said in a statement. Nunes Says Impeachment Is Now on the Table for Rod Rosenstein

By The Daily Caller. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said Sunday that “there will be hell to pay” — including impeachment for top Justice Department officials — if the agency fails this week to give Congress documents about an FBI informant used to spy on the Trump campaign.

“We can’t force the resignation, but we can hold in contempt, we can pass resolutions, we can impeach. I think we’re getting close to there,” Nunes said of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Nunes has battled Rosenstein for months over other documents related to the Russia investigation. The Justice Department and FBI stalled for months to provide information about the Steele dossier as well as about a secret surveillance warrant taken out against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The most recent standoff concerns Nunes’ request for documents related to a longtime FBI and CIA source who the bureau tasked to meet with three Trump campaign advisers, including Page.

Nunes and other members of the so-called Gang of Eight met with Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray on Thursday to discuss Intelligence Committee’s requests for documents about the informant, who is reported to be former University of Cambridge professor Stefan Halper. Rep. Devin Nunes Talks Meeting With FBI, DOJ Officials

By Fox News. [Nunes speaking to reporter:]

However, I think that we have a process to move forward. We’re supposed to meet on Monday. Our staffs are supposed to meet on Monday. And all the subpoenas are supposed to be complied with this week.

Now, I’m not sure. I have — my confidence level is extremely low that DOJ and FBI are going to comply. I don’t have a lot of confidence.

However, it was good that the speaker of the House was there, along with the other two committee chairmen, to make sure that the FBI and DOJ know that they have been put on notice, that we’re not going to take no for an answer anymore, and that the subpoenas will be complied with, or the House will have to take other measures.

So, what does this mean is, how did you use our nation’s counterintelligence capabilities — these are capabilities that are used to track terrorists and other bad guys around the globe — how did you weaponize that against a political campaign, the Trump campaign, where, ultimately, it ended up in Carter Page having FISA warrants put against him, which allowed the government to go in and grab all of his e-mails and phone calls?

So, that’s primarily what we have been investigating for many, many months. We have asked for documents as it relates to — to that. And on — and I will tell you, Chairman Gowdy was very, very clear with the Department of Justice and FBI, and said that if there was any vectoring of any informants or spies or whatever you want to call them into the Trump campaign before the investigation began, we better know about it by Sunday, meaning today.

Zalmay Khalilzad: Why Iran Will Choose to Negotiate With Trump

By The Omaha World-Herald. The Trump administration’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal and a subsequent speech by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have engendered a range of responses: Some welcomed the new hard line, but most expressed concern and criticism.

Critics have accused the administration of calling for war or regime change; others have denounced its strategy as unrealistic.

In actuality, though, the Trump administration’s approach has a reasonable chance of succeeding with Iran. A key point that seems to have been overlooked by many of the commentators is that the Trump administration has indicated a willingness to enter into negotiations, even as it escalates pressure against Iran through sanctions.

And a policy of maximum pressure, followed by negotiation and deal-making, means that a comprehensive agreement between the two countries is not out of the question.

Perhaps the most intriguing message embedded in the Pompeo speech was the signaling of a desire to engage Iran in negotiation for a comprehensive agreement leading to normalization of relations. Pompeo invited Iran to “look at our diplomacy with North Korea” as evidence of the administration’s willingness to engage adversaries in negotiations on very complex issues.
