Comedian Tim Allen Reads Through Old Testament, Begins New Testament: ‘What a Treasure’

Award-winning actor Tim Allen has shared more about his Bible reading journey, revealing he recently read through and re-read the Old Testament and has started on the New Testament — an experience he described as a “treasure.”

“After nearly a year I have finished entire Old Testament and the experience of re reading, dedicated focus and no drifting has made this a humbling overwhelming experience. What a treasure,” the 71-year-old “Home Improvement” actor wrote in a Saturday post on X, previously known as Twitter. “Three days into New Testament.” . . .

In August, the television star shared that he had almost finished reading the Old Testament in the Jerusalem Bible, a Roman Catholic translation.

“Never took the time in all my years to ever read and really read the Bible,” Allen wrote. “Currently almost through the Jerusalem Bible Old Testament and almost done with the Prophets. Next up to New Testament. So far, amazing and not at all what I was expecting.”

Allen, who currently stars in the sitcom “Shifting Gears,” has spoken in interviews about his belief in God and his growing appreciation for Christianity despite maintaining skepticism about organized religion. Far-Left Activists in Drag Rail Against Trump as City Votes to Become Trans Sanctuary

The Worcester City Council in Massachusetts voted in favor of a resolution to become a sanctuary city for those transgender and gender-diverse Tuesday.

During a lengthy city council meeting, approximately 200 people from the LGBT+ community arrived to show their support for the resolution—often expressing concerns for their safety under the new Trump administration.

One speaker, donning a purple wig, pearl necklace and white gloves, said she needs the city to protect her because the federal government will not, and she is “afraid of Trump.”

The speaker, who also claimed to have a multitude of disabilities, addressed fears that the city would become a target of the administration and lose federal funding if the measure was passed, then issued a warning.

“If you say that you’re afraid of Trump and that’s why you don’t want the city to be a safe space for trans people, you better prepare for trans people to make this a very unsafe space,” she said. Independent Reporter Brought the Receipts to Shred The New York Times’ Anti-Elon Nonsense

The liberal media is truly giving itself fits over Elon Musk and his new position within the Trump administration, which is to helm the Department of Government Efficiency, which is uprooting the waste and fraud that’s infested Washington DC. Liberals have slowly replaced Trump derangement syndrome with Musk madness since the 2024 election. Ironically, Musk was recently an Andrew Yang Democrat.

DOGE has shut down USAID and is combing through every crack and crevice looking for government waste, which it has done by using AI to analyze the expenditures of these agencies rapidly. The Left is mad because all their slush fund vehicles are being pinched off. At the Oval Office yesterday, Elon Musk, his son, and Donald Trump took questions from the media as the president signed an order enhancing compliance between government agencies and DOGE, and The New York Times had a predictable headline for the occasion: “Musk Asserts Without Proof That He’s Fixing a Bureaucracy Rife With Fraud.”

The billionaire Elon Musk said in an extraordinary Oval Office appearance on Tuesday that he was providing maximum transparency in his government cost-cutting initiative, but offered no evidence for his sweeping claims that the federal bureaucracy had been corrupted by cheats and officials who had approved money for “fraudsters.”

Answering questions from the media for the first time since his arrival in Washington to run the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, Mr. Musk stood next to the Resolute Desk and asserted that his work was in the interest of the public and democracy. President Trump sat behind the desk, chiming in with approval as he let the world’s richest man expound for roughly 30 minutes on the rationale for the drastic overhaul of the federal bureaucracy.

The goal is to “restore democracy,” Mr. Musk said. “If the bureaucracy’s in charge, then what meaning does democracy actually have?”

Trump Talks With Ukraine President Zelenksyy Following Putin Call

President Trump spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Wednesday, the White House said, after talking earlier to Russian President Vladimir Putin about ending their long-running war.

In a Truth Social post, Mr. Trump said the conversation with Mr. Zelenskyy went “very well.”

“He, like President Putin, wants to make PEACE,” Mr. Trump wrote. “We discussed a variety of topics having to do with the War, but mostly, the meeting that is being set up on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the Delegation.”

He said he is “hopeful” that the Friday meeting will be “positive.”

“It is time to stop this ridiculous war, where there has been massive, and totally unnecessary, DEATH and DESTRUCTION,” he wrote. “God bless the people of Russia and Ukraine!” (Read more from “Trump Talks With Ukraine President Zelenksyy Following Putin Call” HERE)

Trump Promises In-Person Meeting With Putin as Ukraine Talks Get Underway

An American president hasn’t visited Russia in more than a decade. That could change soon, according to President Donald Trump, who said Wednesday that he and Russian President Vladimir had agreed to visit “each other’s Nations” as part of an effort to end the war in Ukraine.

Trump promoted the potential trips in a social media post detailing his phone call Wednesday with Putin. It was the first announced conversation between the two leaders since Trump started his second term in office.

“We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s Nations,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump added later in the day Wednesday that he would likely hold his first meeting with Putin since taking office for a second time in Saudi Arabia, though plans had not been settled.

A meeting anywhere in the world between the two leaders would garner headlines — but it would be especially unusual if one took place in the U.S. or Russia. Regardless of the location, analysts said suggestions of a face-to-face meeting are in line with Trump’s practice, in his first term in office, of holding high-profile summits with adversaries like North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. ‘Unbelievably Baffling’: Joe Rogan Says The Quiet Part Out Loud About Corporate Media’s DOGE Coverage

Podcast host Joe Rogan criticized corporate media Wednesday for its negative reporting on Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), pointing to outlets totally ignoring instances of waste uncovered at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Since Musk announced plans to shutter USAID on Feb. 3, CNN and MSNBC used the phrase “constitutional crisis” over 200 times, the Daily Caller News Foundation learned in a keyword search of footage archived by Grabien News. Rogan, on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” accused media outlets of choosing to attack President Donald Trump and Musk’s USAID plan and fixating on DOGE staffers accessing Americans’ data.

“What’s unbelievably baffling to me is the complete absence of the coverage of all of these things that should be very concerning in mainstream media,” Rogan said “Complete absence. All the discussion, the negative anti-Trump discussion about USAID shutting down, is all the good that it does.”

“And then also, you’re going to get access to people’s private data — that’s all you’re hearing,” he continued. “You’re hearing the gaslighting spin is those two things.”

USAID sent 65.5 million condoms, 9.8 million injectable birth control products and 334,000 IUDs to other countries in fiscal year 2022 to facilitate family planning, particularly in the third world. It also distributed a $2 million grant to Guatemala to fund “gender-affirming care” and LGBTQ activism. Investigation Confirms Biden Was Behind FBI Raid at Trump’s Florida Home All Along

A social media thread report from America First Legal charges it was Joe Biden who was behind the FBI’s raid on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida, all along.

That raid, a stunning armed maneuver against the 45th president of the United States, left armed officers raiding Trump’s home, allegedly looking for government documents, even reportedly invading the private possessions of Trump’s family members.

The raiders then staged photographs of various government documents in rows on the floor of Mar-a-Lago and released those images to the public to generate support for their claims.

The White House claimed at the time that it was all because of the need to retrieve those government documents, which later resulted in a massive federal criminal case against Trump, which dissolved when he was re-elected.

Incidentally, Joe Biden also was found to have had massive amounts of government documents in his possession, including in a stash in his unsecured garage, after his vice presidency, as was Trump Vice President Mike Pence. Both of them were given free passes for their actions. (Read more from “Investigation Confirms Biden Was Behind FBI Raid at Trump’s Florida Home All Along” HERE)

Nurses Suspended After Boasting They Would Kill Israeli Patients

Two Australian nurses have been suspended after a viral video showed them threatening to kill Israeli patients and boasting about refusing them treatment. The pair face criminal and health prosecutions over their “sickening and shameful” boasts of weaponizing the healthcare system against Jews.

The man and woman – both employees at a Sydney hospital – are now being investigated by NSW state police after their anti-semitic tirade went viral, news.com.au reports. . .

In the video, the male nurse, later identified as Ahmad “Rashad” Nadi, an Afghan refugee taken in and given shelter by Australia, falsely claimed he was a doctor and told the Israeli interviewer he was “going to go to” hell.

“It’s Palestine’s country, not your country,” a female nurse identified as Sarah Abu Lebdeh added before detailing how she’d approach Israeli patients.

“I won’t treat them, I’ll kill them.” (Read more from “Nurses Suspended After Boasting They Would Kill Israeli Patients” HERE)

Inside FEMA’s Sickening History of Misspending Billions of Taxpayers’ Dollars — And Going Largely Unchecked

By New York Post. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has mismanaged tens of billions of dollars over the years, according to numerous government reports into its spending.

The government agency’s response to COVID, hurricanes, floods and housing migrants have all come under fire for being wasteful and going largely unchecked — as the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been sent in to analyze its spending.

The most recent audit of the embattled disaster response agency claimed it mismanaged nearly $10 billion during the COVID pandemic between 2020 and 2023.

FEMA even approved a grant of $1.1 billion despite it only being supported by only a single piece of paper with no itemized costs, the Jan. 30 audit by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General found.

The request was also “not prepared by a licensed professional engineer or cost-estimating professional,” according to the 36-page report.

The Trump administration has called for a complete overhaul of FEMA, which has a slated budget of $65 billion for fiscal year 2025. (Read more from “Inside FEMA’s Sickening History of Misspending Billions of Taxpayers’ Dollars — And Going Largely Unchecked” HERE)

Trump Admin Axes FEMA Employees Behind $59 Million ‘Luxury’ Hotel Scheme

By Daily Caller. The Trump administration has fired four Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) employees for sending $59 million in taxpayer dollars to New York City hotels to house and care for illegal migrants.

The firings come after Elon Musk, whose mission is weeding out frivolous spending within the U.S. government through his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) agency, highlighted the price tag in a social media post Monday. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed the firings Tuesday and referred to the payments as “egregious”.

“Effective immediately, FEMA is terminating the employment of four individuals for circumventing leadership to unilaterally make egregious payments for luxury NYC hotels for migrants,” DHS said in a statement shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Firings include FEMA’s Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts and a grant specialist.”

“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s leadership, DHS will not sit idly and allow deep state activists to undermine the will and safety of the American people,” the statement continued. (Read more from “Trump Admin Axes FEMA Employees Behind $59 Million ‘Luxury’ Hotel Scheme” HERE)

State Sues Starbucks Over Policies Promoting ‘Discrimination’

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has sued Starbucks over its diversity policies, saying the company made hiring and promotion decisions based on race in violation of state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

The complaint filed Tuesday said that the coffeehouse giant launched a diversity, equity and inclusion program in 2020 to retain and promote BIPOC [Black, Indigenous and People of Color] employees, including setting a goal of at least 30% minority representation at corporate levels and 40% at retail levels by 2025.

“Starbucks has decided to require outright race- and sex-based discrimination in hiring via quotas, segregate employees on unlawful bases, and single out preferred groups for additional training and employment benefits,” said the 59-page lawsuit.

Starting in 2021, the company also tied executive compensation to meeting its diversity goals, according to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

“As Attorney General, I have a moral and legal obligation to protect Missourians from a company that actively engages in systemic race and sex discrimination,” said Mr. Bailey in a statement. “Racism has no place in Missouri. We’re filing suit to halt this blatant violation of the Missouri Human Rights Act in its tracks.” (Read more from “State Sues Starbucks Over Policies Promoting ‘Discrimination’” HERE)
