Trump Announces Plan to Equip India with F-35 Stealth Fighters

Speaking alongside Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, President Donald Trump announced that his administration would begin “paving the way” for India to eventually acquire the F-35 stealth fighter.

Newsweek reached out to the Pentagon, National Security Council (NSC) and the Department of State by email on Thursday evening for comment.

The Joint Strike Fighter program is the most expensive U.S. weapons system, with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimating its total cost to American taxpayers at $1.7 trillion.

The program includes eight international development partners, and the U.S. has approved foreign military sales with 12 additional nations, including Israel, South Korea, and Singapore. (Read more from “Trump Announces Plan to Equip India with F-35 Stealth Fighters” HERE)

Mysterious Fog With ‘Chemical Smell’ Envelops Florida, Residents Fall Ill

Residents in Florida have recently reported experiencing a strange fog with a distinctive chemical smell in various parts of the state. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued dense fog advisories near Jacksonville and Tallahassee, extending from Tuesday to Wednesday. While fog is not unusual in this region, many locals are noticing differences in its appearance and smell, leading to concerns about its true nature.

In addition to visibility issues, there have been reports of adverse health effects associated with the fog. Symptoms such as coughing, sore throats, and lethargy have been commonly mentioned. Others have noted unusual gut issues and a metallic taste when in close proximity to the fog. These occurrences are reminiscent of a similar event last month, which also featured fog with a metallic odor.

Discussion online has given rise to theories about the fog resulting from chemical or biological agents. Comparisons have been drawn to historical events like Operation Sea Spray, a 1950s U.S. Navy experiment involving the dispersion of bacteria off the coast of San Francisco, infecting residents. FEMA Employees Fired Over ‘Egregious’ $59M Payment for NYC Migrants

Four Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) employees, including a top-level executive, have been fired after sending millions of dollars to New York City to house and care for illegal migrants, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“Effective immediately, FEMA is terminating the employment of four individuals for circumventing leadership to unilaterally make egregious payments for luxury NYC hotels for migrants,” DHS officials said in a statement obtained by The Post.

The firings, first reported by Fox News, include FEMA’s chief financial officer, two program analysts and a grant specialist.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s leadership, DHS will not sit idly and allow deep state activists to undermine the will and safety of the American people,” the statement added.

On Monday, Elon Musk, who runs the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), posted on X that his team had discovered that FEMA has recently paid out $59 million meant for disaster relief to the Big Apple for “luxury hotels” to house illegal migrants. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: Nuclear Weapons for Ukraine Is up to President Donald Trump

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Thursday in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News said he is not ruling out nuclear weapons for Ukraine, and that ultimately it is up to President Donald Trump.

“I’m not here to declare anything on or off the table. That’s not my job. That’s the president’s job. He’s the leader, he’s the master negotiator and dealmaker,” he said.

He added, “Some of us are out there to help set certain types of conditions that could make a deal more likely and that’s what I’ve tried to do here in the context of NATO.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said last week Ukraine should be given NATO membership or nuclear weapons as a security guarantee against a future Russian invasion as part of a peace deal.

But Hegseth on Wednesday outlined some U.S. positions ahead of negotiations, including that Ukraine should not be offered NATO membership. (Read more from “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: Nuclear Weapons for Ukraine Is up to President Donald Trump” HERE)

Teen Girl’s Valentine’s Day Mass Shooting Plot at Her High School Thwarted After FBI Tip

Cops in Indiana say they thwarted a Valentine’s Day mass shooting that a teen girl was allegedly plotting at her high school.

Trinity Shockley, 18, was arrested this week within days of police uncovering a plot to shoot up the Mooresville High School, located southwest of Indianapolis, authorities said.

Shockley was previously the center of a Mooresville community fundraiser after she was hit by a drunk driver on her way to school in 2022.

A tipoff came from the FBI Tuesday evening about an alleged attack on the school, and Mooresville police raided Shockley’s home and arrested her.

She is being held without bail after being charged with conspiracy to commit murder, threat to commit terrorism and conspiracy to commit intimidation, according to Fox 59. (Read more from “Teen Girl’s Valentine’s Day Mass Shooting Plot at Her High School Thwarted After FBI Tip” HERE)

Illegal Border Crossings Hit Record Lows After Trump’s Swift Crackdown — And Could Be On Track for Levels Not Seen in 60 Years

. . .Border crossings have plummeted to levels not seen in decades this month following President’s Trump’s swift crackdown on illegal immigration across the southwest, The Post can reveal.

So far in February, about 359 illegal migrants per day have been caught across the entire southern border — down more than 90% from February 2024, according to leaked Customs and Border Protection data.

That puts the US on track to have the lowest monthly border crossings in at least 25 years. If the trend continues, the number of illegal migrants coming into the US could hit a level not seen since 1968, nearly 60 years ago.

It’s the lowest the US has seen “in almost a lifetime,” said Mark Krikorian, the executive director at the Center for Immigration Studies.

“If you kind of break down the numbers, divide them by 365, we haven’t had numbers this low since the 1960s. So we’re talking 60-year lows if it’s sustained, obviously,” he said. She’s In! Tulsi Confirmed as DNI

By Breitbart. Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard was confirmed by the United States Senate as the next Director of National Intelligence (DNI) on Wednesday morning as President Donald Trump’s 14th cabinet victory since reentering office.

The former Democrat Hawaii congresswoman received a 52-48 vote, with Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell (KY) joining Democrats against her.

Shortly before the final vote, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said he was “proud” to say that every single Democrat would vote against her, claiming she “echoes Russian propaganda.”

Sen. John Barasso (R-WY) was one of Gabbard’s most vocal supporters in the Senate, saying ahead of the vote that she has the necessary “experience to keep our nation safe and secure”:

Trump Lands Key Tulsi Gabbard Confirmation Following Uphill Senate Battle

By Fox News. President Donald Trump continued his successful Cabinet confirmation roll on Wednesday, with Tulsi Gabbard officially being approved by the Senate to become his director of national intelligence (DNI).

She became his 14th Cabinet confirmation following the 52-48 vote on Wednesday. The vote was party-line, with the exception of former GOP Senate leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who opposed Gabbard.

Despite an uphill battle before her first hurdle in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, the former Democratic representative managed to come back and get key Republicans to support her in her bid to oversee the nation’s intelligence agencies.

With the coordinated and persuasive assistance of Chairman Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and Vice President JD Vance, crucial senators who had lingering concerns about Gabbard were convinced to back her in the crucial committee vote last week, including Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Todd Young, R-Ind.

Her success came despite the impassioned plea of Vice Chairman Mark Warner, D-Va., and Democrats, who all opposed Trump’s DNI pick. (Read more from “Trump Lands Key Tulsi Gabbard Confirmation Following Uphill Senate Battle” HERE)

After Years Of Crying About Alleged Foreign Election Interference, Dems Are Begging A Court To Let Noncitizens Vote

For eight years, Democrats railed against alleged foreign election interference, going so far as to spy on President Donald Trump’s first campaign after making up false claims of foreign interference. Now Democrats in the Big Apple are begging the courts to let 800,000 noncitizens vote in local elections.

New York’s highest court will hear arguments on Tuesday in support of a 2022 law that would allow roughly 800,000 noncitizens to vote in municipal elections if they are a “lawful permanent resident or authorized to work in the United States” and have lived in New York City for at least a month. The law was previously struck down last February by the Second Judicial Department in the appellate division of the state Supreme Court, with Justice Paul Wooten holding that the law was “in violation of the New York State Constitution and Municipal Home Rule Law.” The Second Judicial Department’s decision upheld a previous decision by a lower court.

As noted in the ruling from the Second Judicial Department, the complaint argued that “noncitizens could potentially make up 15% or more of the electorate in future elections … which is greater than the margin of victory in many municipal elections.”

In short, Democrats want to allow noncitizens to vote and swing local elections. But Democrats spent years pretending to care about foreign election interference (that they made up).

Russia collusion hoaxer Adam Schiff said in 2021 that “both parties must speak with one voice to disavow all interference in our elections. We must guard against and seek to deter all attempts at foreign interference, and ensure that American voters decide American elections.” (Read more from “After Years Of Crying About Alleged Foreign Election Interference, Dems Are Begging A Court To Let Noncitizens Vote” HERE)

Rick Warren’s Political Interpretation of Crucifixion Draws Christians’ Ire: ‘Embarrassing’

Saddleback Church founder and former senior pastor Rick Warren drew scorn on social media for implying that Jesus Christ would be a political centrist today because He was crucified between two thieves.

“‘They crucified Jesus with two others — one on each side & Jesus in the middle,” Warren tweeted Tuesday, quoting John 19:18. “The guys on both sides were thieves. If you’re looking for the #realJesus, not a caricature disfigured by partisan motivations, you’ll find him in the middle, not on either side.”

Several prominent Christian voices on X took the bestselling author of The Purpose Driven Life to task for what they deemed a questionable application of the biblical text.

“If you’re going to misuse the story this bad, you should also point out that the thief on the Right is the one that went to heaven lol,” tweeted Babylon Bee managing editor Joel Berry.

Justin Peters, who heads a worldwide expository preaching and teaching ministry, rebuked Warren for what he characterized as sloppy biblical interpretation.

NASA Orders Employees to Throw Out Rainbow Flags and Any Other Items Signaling LGBTQI Support

. . .According to sources who spoke to former NASA researcher Keith Cowing, people working at the space agency — which previously celebrated its queer and trans employees — have been ordered to remove all symbols of LGBTQI pride from their physical and digital workspaces.

“Employees cannot have pride flags, lapel pins, badge lanyard[s], TEAMS backgrounds, clothing, laptop stickers… or anything related to pride in their offices,” Cowing wrote on his blog, NASA Watch.

“The penalty for violating this guidance can result in being put on administrative leave,” the ex-NASA-er wrote. “This applies to all employees — not just LBGTQ+ but also LBGTQ+ allies.”

Unlike the Trump administration’s other anti-woke orders — including the other recent one at NASA that requires all mentions of “women in leadership,” indigenous people, and environmental justice be removed from agency sites — this regressive decree was not made in writing.

Instead, as Cowing’s sources told him, the demand was made verbally from NASA’s advisory council, which informed management of the change and commanded they “inform/warn their staff” accordingly.
