Government-Run Healthcare Disaster: 75,000 Dead Because They Were Stuck on Waitlists for Surgeries or Diagnoses

Some 75,000 people have died over the past few years because they were on waitlists for surgeries or diagnoses, according to a new report.

The report at ZeroHedge said the death count for just 2023-24 was 15,000 Canadians, as patients there “waited years for treatment they never received” or those who “turned to euthanasia due to lack of timely care.” . . .

Canada is one of the nations with a socialized medical program, where treatment is supposed to be free, but in reality it’s turned out the treatment often is rare, or even unobtainable, as the record shows physicians have offered their patients euthanasia instead of treatment. . .

“SecondStreet.org collected the data by filing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests across Canada. When the data collected is extrapolated across jurisdictions which did not provide data, the number actually nearly doubles, to around 28,077. These figures cover everything from cancer treatment and heart operations to cataract surgery and MRI scans,” the report explained.

Harrison Fleming, an official with SecondStreet, said, “Canadians pay really high taxes and yet our health care system is failing when compared to better-performing universal systems in Europe. Thousands of Canadians across the country find themselves on waitlists — in some cases for several years -— with too many tragically dying before ever getting treated, or even diagnosed.” (Read more from “75,000 Dead Because They Were Stuck on Waitlists for Surgeries or Diagnoses” HERE)

Dems Scream ‘Racism,’ but NYC Minorities Cheer Trump’s ICE Raids

While Democrats kick and scream over President Trump’s drive to deport violent criminal illegal migrants, minorities in New York are thrilled that the feds are getting the thugs out of their communities.

Black and Hispanic residents in The Bronx cheered Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s raids Tuesday that ferreted out “asylum seekers” with warrants for vile crimes like murder and kidnapping, and even nabbed a Tren de Aragua ringleader.

Evelyn Brown, an 80-year-old Bronxite, put it succinctly: “Get them the hell out of the street so people don’t have to walk in fear.” . . .

Poor and minority neighborhoods have suffered the most from elite leftists’ insane anti-law-and-order policies, from recidivist crime to illegal immigration.

Take Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, Queens: The city’s refusal to clear out criminals or cooperate with ICE left a majority Hispanic and Asian neighborhood completely overtaken by prostitutes, drugs and violence, thanks to Tren de Aragua gangbangers waved in by the Biden administration. Husband Received Text Message From His Wife That She Was Landing Minutes Before Her Flight Crashed — As He Waited at DC Airport

A husband revealed that he received a text from his wife minutes before her American Airlines flight collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter in Washington, DC.

“I’m just praying that someone is pulling her out of the river right now. That’s all I can pray for,” Hamaad Raza told WUSA from near Reagan National Airport.

Raza was asked when he last spoke to his wife.

“She texted me that they were landing in 20 minutes,” he told the outlet, showing them the messages on his phone.

Raza said he realized something was wrong when his replying messages didn’t “get delivered.”

“That’s when I realized something was up,” he said, pointing down at the undelivered messages on his phone’s screen. (Read more from “Husband Received Text Message From His Wife That She Was Landing Minutes Before Her Flight Crashed — As He Waited at DC Airport” HERE)

Christians Who Opposed Trump Should Examine Their Hearts After His Week Of Big Biblical Wins

Only 10 days into President Donald Trump’s second term it’s abundantly clear that Christians who opposed his presence in the White House and condemned their brethren for supporting it have some repenting to do.

Never Trumpers spent the last decade weaponizing their faith to demonize Christian Trump supporters. By the time the 2024 election rolled around, they had proudly endorsed the radical, openly anti-Christian Joe Biden stand-in for president. According to them, mean tweets and a bad spray tan were far worse than a regime that made a point out of throwing praying grandmas in prison.

Concerns about Trump’s personal conduct 10 years into his entrance to American politics are simply not a legitimate reason to oppose his presidency — especially when juxtaposed with the Biblical wins his presidential actions have brought. Pretending that his penchant for off-the-cuff commentary and history of failed marriages are disqualifying was always a bad argument because most politicians, especially the Biden and Harris families, are the complete opposite of upstanding, moral folks.

Thankfully for the country, Christian and secular voters alike didn’t buy the propaganda. And because Trump won in November, current people of faith and future followers of Christ are better off. Look at his first week back in the White House for proof.

The Republican kicked off his second administration by freeing political prisoners, including the faithful pro-lifers who were thrown in prison for peacefully worshipping and praying at abortion facilities. He followed that with a sweeping executive order condemning and defunding the forced mutilation and sterilization of children. Dodgers’ Owner Donates $100M for Fire Recovery Efforts

Los Angeles Dodgers owner Mark Walter plans to donate $100 million to the Southern California wildfire recovery effort.

NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson, a part-owner of the Dodgers, announced the donation, which will come through the Walter Family Foundation and the Dodgers Foundation, on Tuesday.

“The LA fires have wreaked havoc on LA’s neighborhoods. It’s time for those with means to come forward and make a positive impact to build back better,” Walter said in a statement.

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) had “tapped Magic Johnson, Mark Walter, and Casey Wasserman to lead a new private-sector initiative to support wildfire recovery in Los Angeles,” according to Dodgers Nation. . .

“This is a time for bold action,” Magic Johnson said in a statement. “We’re bringing together the best resources and biggest hearts across California to ensure that every Angeleno — no matter their race, socioeconomic status, or neighborhood — has a chance to rebuild and thrive. Trump Confirms a New Use for GITMO

Speaking ahead of a bill signing event for the Laken Riley Act in the East Room of the White House Wednesday, President Donald Trump confirmed plans to send violent criminal aliens to Guantanamo Bay Prison, Cuba.

During his remarks Trump expressed concern home countries of a number of criminal aliens aren’t capable of keeping them in prisons or from returning to the United States, which is why the move to GITMO is necessary. He urged Congress to quickly approve funding for the security measure.

Leftist Smear Group Attacking RFK Jr. Led by ‘Queer Trans Activist,’ Funded by Pornhub’s Parent Company

A shadowy, leftist group has targeted Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Fight For The Future, a tech advocacy group with leftist leadership, launched a campaign on Jan. 28 to sink the confirmation of Kennedy, whom it smeared as a “bigoted conspiracy theorist” — despite the group’s adherence to wild theories that men can be women, and that President Donald Trump is a “wannabe fascist.” The organization published a petition to pressure senators to keep Kennedy out of office, and a scorecard tracking how lawmakers plan to vote on the nomination.

Kennedy has been a long-time advocate of reforming public health since the 1990s, and he has become the figurehead of the Make America Healthy Again movement. But Fight For The Future claims he will “destroy[] healthcare,” even though America currently spends the most money on healthcare compared to other countries and has a vastly unhealthy population to show for it. Recent polling data also shows the MAHA movement is popular among Americans.

Fight For The Future opposed the “Kids Online Safety Act,” which would have required online platforms to take “reasonable measures” to protect minors from “sexual exploitation and abuse.” Aylo — the parent company of PornHub which admitted to profiting from sex trafficking — gave “$50,000 or more” to the Fight For The Future, according to the group’s website.

DuckDuckGo and Yelp are also listed as Fight For the Future “supporters” who have donated “$50,000 or more.” Pinterest gave “$25,000 or more,” and Proton — the parent company of encrypted email service Proton Mail — gave “$10,000 or more.” (Read more from “Leftist Smear Group Attacking RFK Jr. Led by ‘Queer Trans Activist,’ Funded by Pornhub’s Parent Company” HERE)

Donald Trump Offers All Federal Workers an 8-Month Buyout to Resign

President Trump continued his crusade to thin out the federal bureaucracy by offering all 2 million federal workers eight months’ salary in exchange for resigning from their positions.

Under the deal, employees who resign by Feb. 6 would receive severance paid through Sept. 30, an unprecedented buyout for the federal government.

White House officials say the move could entice 5% to 10% of the federal workforce to quit, resulting in a savings of around $100 billion. Any government employee is eligible for the buyout, though military personnel are exempt.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said American taxpayers deserve federal employees “who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers.”

“If they don’t want to work in the office and contribute to making America great again, then they are free to choose a different line of work, and the Trump administration will provide a very generous payout of 8 months,” she said in a statement. Federal Judge Temporarily Blocks Trump’s Federal Funds Freeze

A lawsuit by the National Council of Nonprofits led to a federal judge pausing an order by President Donald Trump to freeze some federal funds in order to root out ideological spending from the budget.

U.S. District Judge Loren L. AliKhan issued the temporary pause in the spending freeze just minutes before it was set to go into effect at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The administrative stay only applies to already existing programs and will only last until Monday afternoon

“It seems like the federal government currently doesn’t actually know the full extent of the programs that are going to be subject to the pause,” said AliKhan in her ruling.

The freeze was communicated to federal departments through a memo from the Office of Management and Budget that explained it was necessary to ensure funds were no longer being used for ideological purposes.

“The use of federal resources to advance Marxist equity, transgenderism, and Green New Deal social engineering policies is a waste of taxpayer dollars that does not improve the day-to-day lives of those we serve,” read the memo.
