Russia’s Prime Minister: We Are in a New Cold War

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said his country is in a new Cold War with the U.S. and its allies, underscoring the tenuous level of trust that’s putting a day-old plan for a truce in Syria at risk.

The clash, with echoes of superpower rhetoric during the 20th century, played out at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday even as Russia, Europe and the U.S. say they’re seeking cooperation to end Syria’s civil war, resolve the armed standoff in eastern Ukraine and make progress toward lifting European economic sanctions against Russia.

Fresh from helping craft the accord for Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov suggested that the U.S. is reneging on the agreement and put the chances of success at less than 50 percent. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, addressing the meeting separately, demanded an end to Russian bombing of groups opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

“This is a hinge point,” Kerry told the Munich Security Conference on Saturday. “We hope this week can be a week of change. It is critical for all of us to take advantage of this moment to make this cessation of hostilities work.”

On stage at the international gathering of diplomats and defense officials, Medvedev set a different tone, blaming the U.S.-led North Atlantic Treaty Organization for stoking conflict. Ted Cruz’s Father Just Sent out a Major Warning to Christians

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution begins, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” and Americans throughout history have interpreted this as a guarantee of freedom of religion.

However, as WND has documented, the Obama administration has stealthily replaced the term “freedom of religion” with “freedom of worship” in official pronouncements.

Pastor Rafael Cruz, the father of GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz and author of the new book, “A Time for Action: Empowering the Faithful to Reclaim America,” warns that this subtle shift in language would be devastating for America if the policy and practice come to follow the words.

“Most Christians don’t realize the danger of freedom of worship,” Cruz said during a recent appearance on “Hagee Hotline” with pastor Matthew Hagee. “Freedom of worship is not the same as freedom of religion. Every Communist country around the world has freedom of worship. What freedom of worship means is you can worship inside a house of worship.”

Cruz explained even in his native Cuba a person can share the gospel inside a church. There may be spies present to ensure no one speaks out against the government, but congregants nevertheless have the freedom to go to church and worship their God. Video From ’88 Shows Media Calling Trump Conservative… But Then You Have to Look At The Video From ’99

By WND. Donald Trump has had his finger in the political pie for a long time. Democrats and Republicans alike, in desperate efforts to discredit him, like to point out Trump is not a suitable candidate because he’s not conservative, highlighting his various activities and contributions involving the Clintons and other liberals.

But in a 1988 interview with Larry King, Trump is introduced by Mary Alice Williams, then part of CNN’s political anchor team, as: “He’s young, he has Robert Redford good looks, he’s conservative and he’s rich. I’m not talking about Dan Quayle; I’m talking about Larry King’s guest, Donald Trump.”

Even as far back as 28 years ago, the question of Trump’s run for the White House was being discussed . . .

“Let’s give America a different look at you,” said King. “You’re the author of a best-seller and everyone knows you as the owner of buildings and hotels. But you might be classified as an eastern Republican. Fair?”

Air Force Crew Refueling Plane Saves Pilot in Emergency Over ISIS Territory

A quick-thinking refueling plane crew saved a fighter pilot who faced having to eject over Islamic State territory.

The F-16 had been trying to refuel in mid-air when the pilot discovered a malfunction with his fuel system, which meant he could only fly for 15 minutes – nowhere near enough to reach safety.

Instead of leaving the pilot to cope with the emergency himself, the US Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker crew managed to escort him back to its base while refueling every 15 minutes to keep the jet in the air.

US Air Force commander Lt Col Eric Hallberg said: “Over 80% of his total fuel capability was trapped and unusable.

Hawaii Governor Signs Emergency Proclamation on Zika, Other Illnesses

The governor of Hawaii has signed an emergency proclamation regarding Zika and other mosquito-borne illnesses.

Gov. David Ige signed the declaration Friday as “a preventative measure” to guard against Zika, dengue fever and other diseases, his office said in a statement.

The action follows the recent decision by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to take emergency steps to prepare for and mitigate the Zika risk, the statement said.

“There have been no locally acquired Zika cases in the U.S. or Hawaii, and we’d like to keep it that way,” the new release quoted the governor as saying. “This is about getting in front of the situation across the state.” (Read more from “Hawaii Governor Signs Emergency Proclamation on Zika, Other Illnesses” HERE)

Mother of Columbine Killer Said She Never Realized Her Son Was Troubled

Nearly 17 years after Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris murdered 13 people in a slaughter at Colorado’s Columbine High School, Klebold’s mother offered insight into her son’s behavior leading up to the attack.

In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer that aired Friday, Sue Klebold said she was like many parents who believe they would know if something were wrong with their child.

“Before Columbine happened, I would have been one of those parents,” Klebold told Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview. “I think we like to believe that our love and our understanding is protective, and that ‘if anything were wrong with my kids, I would know,’ but I didn’t know, and I wasn’t able to stop him from hurting other people. I wasn’t able to stop his hurting himself and it’s very hard to live with that.”

On April 20, 1999, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris walked into Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., and began a murderous rampage that left 12 students and 1 teacher dead. The two, who were part of what they called the “Trench Coat Mafia,” carried weapons and homemade bombs in addition to their guns, which they used to kill themselves after the slaughter.

Supreme Court Justice Scalia Found Dead

Associate Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead of apparent natural causes Saturday on a luxury resort in West Texas, federal officials said.

Scalia, 79, was a guest at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a resort in the Big Bend region south of Marfa.

According to a report, Scalia arrived at the ranch on Friday and attended a private party with about 40 people. When he did not appear for breakfast, a person associated with the ranch went to his room and found a body.

Chief U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia, of the Western Judicial District of Texas, was notified about the death from the U.S. Marshals Service. (Read more from this story HERE)

Texas concerns the legality of Obama administration immigration policies that, if allowed to take effect, will temporarily enable close to five million undocumented immigrants to remain in the county. It is also the case that presents the most opportunity for chaos if the Court evenly divides on the outcome…

UNIONS: Public sector unions are saved, at least for now. After oral arguments in Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association, it appeared likely that an ambitious effort to defund public sector unions would gain five votes on the Supreme Court. Now this effort only has four votes. Moreover, because the plaintiffs in this case lost in the court below, a decision affirming the lower court in an evenly divided vote is effectively a victory for organized workers…

Feds Emboldened After Killing Finicum, Now Rounding Up, Jailing 2014 Nevada Protesters

In a surprising turn of events, several of Cliven Bundy’s supporters during his 2014 faceoff with federal law enforcement may soon face criminal complaints of their own. Cliven Bundy was arrested this week on a federal complaint arising from his armed interactions with the feds at his ranch in 2014. In the complaint, the government filed six different charges against Bundy and listed four unnamed co-conspirators. The complaint also describes many others who allegedly aided and abetted Cliven Bundy but doesn’t name them.

In a special radio report, the president of Oath Keepers, Stewart Rhodes, discussed with retired Sheriff Denny Peyman and Forward Observer editor Sam Culper the likelihood that dozens of Cliven Bundy’s supporters may also be under indictment and face arrest warrants. They observed that the federal complaint against Cliven Bundy is broad enough many of those who traveled to Nevada to support Bundy in 2014 could very well be arrested on similar charges.

The Patriot Report’s Jason Van Tatenhove claims that he’s identified as many as 68 Bundy supporters who may have federal warrants out for their arrest. Supporting his theory, at least one Bundy supporter has been arrested for what appears to be very minor actions. Specifically, Blaine Cooper was arrested and is now facing a charge of “conspiracy to impede officers of the United States.” This charge is very similar to Cliven Bundy’s and others.

All this comes on the heels of the revelation this week that Cliven Bundy’s son, Ammon, has been held in a tiny cell, in virtual round-the-clock solitary confinement, since his arrest until recently. This incredibly punitive treatment by the feds against a man who has only been charged with conspiracy and poses no danger to others (or himself) is incredibly disturbing.

Perhaps more disturbing is the fact that the federal government would pursue arrests and long prison terms for people who are trying to protect their land from the feds and simply wish to restore the rule of law and the Constitution to their rightful place.

The 2016 United States presidential primary started with last week’s caucuses in Iowa, and has continued this week in New Hampshire–but not without controversy.

As Western Journalism reported, much controversy exists over the caucus results from Iowa. And now, more controversy is emerging from the Granite State.

Undercover journalists from Project Veritas Action, armed with hidden video cameras, captured state election officials, campaign officials, and campaign workers in what one could say borders on voter fraud . . .

In another revealing conversation, Donna Waterman (a Bernie Sanders campaign staffer) confessed that even out-of-state campaign workers vote in the New Hampshire primary. “All of our paid canvassers have done it, It’s very, very, easy.” Continuing on, Waterman added: “I don’t know the legality of it. Perhaps it’s voter fraud.”

James O’Keefe, head of Project Veritas Action, then confronted a few of the individuals seen in the video; but mum was the reaction he received, even being told to leave at one point.

It appears, from the different answers to the residency questions, that no one interviewed really seemed to know how long one had to have been a resident of New Hampshire in order to vote; and no one seemed to know how long one had to stay in the state for their vote to have been valid. At the Recent Debate, Hillary Was Asked 1 Simple Question That DESTROYED Her Credibility [+video]

By Randy DeSoto. Democrat candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders asked one pointed question, which he believes draws a substantial distinction between his candidacy and Hillary Clinton’s.

“Let’s not insult the intelligent of the American people. People aren’t dumb,” Sanders said. “Why in God’s name does Wall Street make huge campaign contributions? I guess just for the fun of it, they want to throw money around.”

Clinton’s reply? She said she supports the Dodd-Frank law, and the belief that no bank is too big to fail.

Sanders, who has made campaign finance reform a cornerstone of his candidacy, also hit Clinton for the large corporate donations to a Super PAC backing her run. The socialist said early on he decided he did not want a Super PAC to support his candidacy.

Hillary Clinton Sharpens Focus After Democratic Debate Tussles

Hillary Clinton forcefully attacked Senator Bernie Sanders before a heavily black audience Friday, highlighting his criticism of President Obama, the Affordable Care Act and for what she suggested was a single-minded focus on economic fairness at the expense of racial justice.

One day after the two squared off at a debate that emphasized issues relating to race and gender, Mrs. Clinton made clear that she intends to run in this state’s primary by effectively seeking Mr. Obama’s third term — and claiming Mr. Sanders would be a threat to the first black president’s accomplishments.

“He has called the president weak, a disappointment. He tried to get some attention to attract a candidate to actually run against the president when he was running for re-election,” Mrs. Clinton told a gymnasium full of voters near the campus of a historically black college here.

It was a reprisal of her offensive at Thursday night’s debate, but she escalated her assault further, portraying Mr. Sanders as an impediment to the health care law so associated with Mr. Obama that, she noted, it bears his name.
