Fauci Pushing to Get COVID Vaccines Approved for Children Under 5

Despite the federal government data and the acknowledgment of health officials that healthy children are statistically at zero risk of serious illness or death from COVID-19, that the vaccines don’t prevent infection or transmission of the virus, and that the current omicron variant presents with mild symptoms, White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said he hopes the Food and Drug Administration will approve Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine for children under 5 years old in the next month.

Further, Fauci said three vaccine doses likely will be needed, because Pfizer found in its clinical trials in children ages 2 to 4 that two shots did not induce an adequate immune response.

In stark contrast, the World Health Organization’s chief scientist said this week that healthy children and adolescents don’t need COVID-19 vaccine booster doses.

“There is no evidence right now that healthy children or healthy adolescents need boosters. No evidence at all,” said Soumya Swaminathan at a news briefing Tuesday. . .

Fauci said in an interview Wednesday with Blue Star Families that he hopes the FDA will grant approval “within the next month or so and not much later than that, but I can’t guarantee that.” (Read more from “Fauci Pushing to Get COVID Vaccines Approved for Children Under 5” HERE)

Woman Charged After Threatening to Show Up to Child’s School With Guns in Protest of Mask Mandate

A Virginia woman was charged by police after she threatened to bring loaded firearms to her child’s school over the district’s mask mandate.

Amelia Ruffner King was charged Friday night with a violation of a Virginia statute stating that oral threats of bodily harm on school property are not allowed, a Class 1 misdemeanor.

She was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond, and police will have an increased presence at the school on Monday, according to the Luray Police Department.

During a Page County School Board meeting held Thursday to discuss Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s (R) executive order allowing parents to opt-out of mask requirements, King blasted the board over the mask mandate that was still in place, video footage shows.

“My child — my children will not come to school on Monday with a mask on. All right, that’s not happening. And I will bring every single gun loaded and ready to — I will call every—,” King explained before she was interrupted by school officials. Students Decry COVID Response: ‘They Literally Ruined Our Lives’

As school students give testimonies of their experiences under COVID-19 restrictions, an epidemiologist is lamenting the “cult of masked schoolchildren,” warning history “will not look kindly on our evidence-free decision to make kids suffer most.”

Dr. Vinay Prasad wrote in The Tablet that, oddly,” the eligibility of every child from age 5 to receive a COVID vaccine has been accompanied by increased pressure on children to wear masks in school. . .

Meanwhile, a recently graduated student in England, Sophie Corcoran, said in a TV panel discussion that “the damage” government officials “have done to my generation has been unbelievable.”

“I watched and felt like my entire life was falling apart because of what this government did to young people,” she said on Britain’s GB News. “And nobody cared.

“They literally ruined our lives,” Corcoran said. “And nobody spoke about it.” (Read more from “Students Decry COVID Response: ‘They Literally Ruined Our Lives'” HERE)

Judge Who Shamed Cancer-Stricken Man Over Lawn Apologizes

A Michigan judge who berated a cancer patient for overgrown weeds outside his home has apologized, saying she’s “very embarrassed” by her actions in court.

Hamtramck District Court Judge Alexis Krot has admitted that she went too far after she ridiculed Burhan Chowdhury, 72, during a hearing on Jan. 10.

“I made a mistake,” Krot said in a statement Tuesday. “I acted intemperately. I’m very embarrassed that I did so. I apologize to the person who appeared before me and to our entire community for having failed to meet the high standards that we expect of our judicial officers, and that I expect of myself.”

Krot said she reported herself to a state commission that looks into judicial misconduct. Footage of the proceeding when the irate judge ordered Chowdhury to pay a $100 fine went viral last week.

“I had no legal duty to report myself to the commission,” she said. “But I did so because, like apologizing to the community, it was the right thing to do. I will continue to hold myself to the standards I set for others.” (Read more from “Judge Who Shamed Cancer-Stricken Man Over Lawn Apologizes” HERE)

Lawsuit: 99.7 Percent of Kids Banned From School Under COVID Rules Were Healthy

An Indiana judge is allowing a parent lawsuit against the governor’s mask and quarantine rules for schools to move ahead as efforts to end the science-defying, child-harming mandates stall in the state legislature.

Last week an Indiana judge ruled that the parent plaintiffs have provided enough evidence of a legitimate legal complaint to move forward with the case. The governor, their local school board, the state health department, and others the parents sued had moved to dismiss the suit.

But Allen County Superior Court Judge David Avery said a trial is required to determine if government officials are violating state law with their rules that cause constant mass quarantining of healthy children and disruptions to Hoosier children’s education. Public education is a right guaranteed by Indiana’s state constitution.

Out of more than 3,000 children quarantined under the state’s rules last year in Northwest Allen County Schools, fewer than 10 had Covid-19, said the parents’ attorney, Kevin Mitchell, to a local radio station this week. That means approximately 99.7 percent of quarantined kids didn’t have Covid but were still barred from school for one to two weeks with each quarantine.

Mitchell said he expected the numbers across the state were largely similar. He also said parents saw a school employee literally walking around with a six-foot stick to “abide by regulations and figure out the quarantines.” (Read more from “Lawsuit: 99.7 Percent of Kids Banned From School Under COVID Rules Were Healthy” HERE)

Poll Shows Large Majority of Americans Support Abortion Restrictions

The vast majority of Americans support restrictions on abortion, according to a new poll sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and conducted by Marist Poll. The poll also found that a majority of Americans want to return abortion restrictions to the states, in contrast to the central ruling of Roe v. Wade (1973).

“When it comes to the direction of government policy, there has been consistency and consensus in American public opinion on the issue of abortion over the decades,” Dr. Barbara Carvalho, director of the Marist Poll, said in a press release on the results.

“As we await a decision in the Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, our polling continues to show that over 60% of Americans reject the central holding of Roe v. Wade, and want to return the decision to the states or make abortion illegal,” Knights of Columbus Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly said in the release. Dobbs v. Jackson centers on whether all pre-viability restrictions on elective abortion are unconstitutional.

The Knights of Columbus-Marist poll does not just ask Americans whether or not they support Roe v. Wade or whether they identify as “pro-life” or “pro-choice,” but rather presents in-depth questions about abortion issues, probing Americans’ public policy opinions rather than identity markers.

“When asked about their actual opinion, 71% of Americans support real restrictions that are more pro-life than federal law and the laws of many states,” Timothy Saccoccia, vice president at the Knights of Columbus, said on a press call regarding the poll. He noted that 54% of Americans identify as “pro-choice,” but this label does not translate to a support to unlimited abortion. Viral Photo Shows a School Employee Taping a Mask to a Child’s Face

Pennsylvania parents are outraged over a viral photo that shows a school employee taping a mask to a student’s face, which the school district has confirmed is legitimate.

A teacher in the North Penn School District (NPSD) was photographed taping a mask to a young child’s face, according to the viral Facebook post on the North Penn Stronger Together page.

“Pro-mask or anti-mask, I hope we can all agree that taping masks to children’s faces crosses the LINE,” North Penn Stronger Together wrote in the post. “This was not a joke for the child or the parents.”

NPSD confirmed that the image was taken in one of its classrooms last week, but that said taping masks to children’s faces “does not represent the universal values” of the district.

‘Unreal’ Redefined: Teacher Claims She Was Fired for Not ‘Meowing’ at Student

. . .[T]here’s a new definition for unreal, found in a report in which a substitute teacher claims to have been refused further work for not meowing at a student.

It comes from a Tiktok video, where, according to a PostMillennial report, the teacher was told, after failing to meow, by school officials, “We no longer need your services if you can’t identify with all the children in the classroom.” . . .

“I’m a sub, and the most important we do is take roll, so the school gets paid. So, I’m looking at the seating chart as I’m going up and down the rows and marking who’s here and who’s not,” said the women who posted the video, who uses the screen name @crazynamebridgetmichael.

On her most recent venture into a classroom, she described, “I get to the third row and I hear this ‘meow!’ Uhhh, excuse me? Excuse me?”

She continues, “I start looking on the ground, through the fourth row—everything’s good. Go to the fifth row—everybody’s there. Then I hear ‘meow!’ I’m like, ‘Okay, what’s up with that? Who’s doing it?’ And this little girl in the very front row says, ‘You have to meow back at him; he identifies as a cat.’ Are you kidding me?” (Read more from “‘Unreal’ Redefined: Teacher Claims She Was Fired for Not ‘Meowing’ at Student” HERE)

Joe Rogan Slams University for Allowing a Biological Male to Compete on the Women’s Swim Team

This week, podcast host Joe Rogan slammed the University of Pennsylvania for allowing a biological male swimmer to compete on the women’s swim team.

Rogan made the remarks during “The Tim Dillon Show.” During the podcast, Rogan discussed biological men competing in sports as biological women. He specifically discussed UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas and MMA fighter Fallon Fox.

As I covered, Thomas, who is a biological male on UPenn’s women’s swim team, broke two national women’s records at a swim competition in Ohio last fall. Reportedly, in the 1,650-yard freestyle, the runner-up finished 38 seconds behind Thomas. Dailymail.com reported that Thomas’ teammates had considered boycotting the event, but were worried about being labeled as “transphobic” and would be banned from the Ivy League championship next month. . .

“Look, I don’t have a problem with trans people. I have a problem with someone pretending that they’re a biological woman and fighting women,” Rogan said. “Once you say you’re trans, and everybody says, ‘okay, I’ll fight her’ – fine. I’m fine with that. In fact, MMA is one of the best places for that because you know exactly who your opponent is. Unlike this swimmer [Thomas], was it UPenn?”

“The swimmer that’s like, lapping all these biological women. That’s f*****, because they don’t have a choice. They have to compete against her,” Rogan added. (Read more from “Joe Rogan Slams University for Allowing a Biological Male to Compete on the Women’s Swim Team” HERE)

Judge Shames Elderly Cancer Patient Too Weak to Mow His Lawn

A Michigan judge is coming under fire after video surfaced of her shaming and fining a 72-year-old cancer patient in court who said he’s too weak to maintain his lawn, with the judge exclaiming that she wished she could put the elderly man in jail for not keeping up his yard.

District Judge Alexis G. Krot, who presides over the 31st District Court in Michigan, delivered perhaps one of the most disgusting diatribes from the bench earlier in January – shaming an elderly cancer patient and wishing she could throw him in jail because he admitted to being too frail to personally maintain the weeds growing in his back yard.

During a January 10th virtual court appearance, 72-year-old Burhan Chowdhury appeared before Judge Krot over an August 2021 citation he’d received regarding overgrown vegetation that had begun to protrude through portions of the alleyway along the back of his property. Judge Krot read off the details of the civil infraction, telling Chowdhury he can plead “responsible, responsible with explanation, or not responsible.” In response, Chowdhury explained through labored breathing that he is simply not physically able to pull the weeds from his yard due to his cancer diagnosis.
