Sixteen Members of the Penn Women’s Swim Team Ask the NCAA to Protect Them From Men in Women’s Sports

The University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team has finally had enough.

The sixteen members of the University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team sent a letter to school and Ivy League officials asking them to prohibit Penn’s trans female swimmer from competing in the NCAA championships, reports the Washington Post.

“We fully support Lia Thomas in her decision to affirm her gender identity and to transition from a man to a woman. Lia has every right to live her life authentically,” wrote the swim team members, “However, we also recognize that when it comes to sports competition, that the biology of sex is a separate issue from someone’s gender identity.”

Lia Thomas — formerly known as ‘Will’ — competed on men’s swim teams for years. He was even a part of the Penn men’s swim team before deciding to start taking hormones to try and transition into becoming a woman. Thomas, who is actively suppressing his testosterone levels, benefits immensely in competition since he has the skeletal and muscle structure of a grown man.

“Biologically, Lia holds an unfair advantage over competition in women’s category, as evidence by her ranking that have bounced from #462 as a male to #1 as a female,” the letter continues, “If she were to be eligible to compete against us, she could now break Penn, Ivy, and NCAA Women’s Swimming records; feats she could never have done as a male athlete.” (Read more from “Sixteen Members of the Penn Women’s Swim Team Ask the NCAA to Protect Them From Men in Women’s Sports” HERE)

Private School Forces 2-Year-Olds To Mask During Nap Time

A private school with two locations in northern Virginia is forcing students 2 years and older to wear masks for the entire school day, including during nap time, a parent with twins in the school told the Daily Caller.

Halston Davis, a father with twin boys enrolled at Karter Schools, told the Daily Caller that his 3-year-old preemies are required to wear face coverings for the duration of the school day, despite an executive order from Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin repealing mask mandates in all schools. Davis alleges the school’s marketing director told his family masks were not required for the entirety of in-classroom learning when initially interviewing with the school.

Davis said he feels his boys are “falling behind” because “seeing other people talk is important for their development.” Davis and his wife attended an in-person meeting with Karter Schools’ leadership and claimed they asked for “flexibility” when masking their children “during instruction.” The school allegedly denied their request.

Karter Schools requires staff, students and parents to wear masks on school property regardless of vaccination status, according to COVID-19 FAQs sent to parents. Children were also required to present a negative test before returning to school if they traveled following winter break, per the FAQ form. ‘Liberal Privilege Is Real’: Disney-Fired Actress Trends After News of Whoopi Suspension by Disney-Owned ABC

Actress Gina Carano trended on Twitter this week after news broke that “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg would be suspended for two weeks for controversial comments she made about Jews, race, and the Holocaust.

Notably, Carano was canned from Disney+ show “The Mandolorian” supposedly over a social media post she published to Instagram that made a Holocaust comparison. Goldberg, who contended on-air that Jews were not targeted and exterminated because of their race, was slapped with a two-week suspension by ABC, which is owned by Disney.

The apparent double standard was noticed online.

Whoopi Threatening to Quit ‘the View’ Over Suspension After Holocaust Remarks: Source

Whoopi Goldberg is “livid” after she was suspended from “The View” over her claim that the Holocaust was “not about race” — and is telling co-workers she is going to quit the show, according to a source.

Goldberg, 66, feels “humiliated” at being disciplined by ABC execs after she followed their advice to apologize for the ill-conceived comments, a well-placed insider told The Post.

“She feels ABC executives mishandled this. She followed their playbook. She went on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ and then apologized again on ‘The View’ the next day,” a source said.

The source added that while Goldberg is taking the suspension hard and says she wants to leave the show, insiders believe she’s likely just sounding off.

A Former Playboy Bunny Says She Was Forced to Cover up the Alleged Abductions and Horrific Rapes of Young Women

A former Playboy Bunny said she was forced to cover up the alleged rapes and abductions of two “baby” Playboy Bunnies. . .

According to Masten, the newly-minted Bunnies (who she estimated to be around 20 and 21 years old at the time and did not name in the docuseries) were out dancing one night when they met “Soul Train” host Don Cornelius. (Per Masten, Cornelius was a “Playboy VIP gold member” and a regular at the LA club.) He then invited the young women to sit in his booth and have drinks with him and later invited them go back to his house for a party, she recalled. . .

“They didn’t have any fear at the time,” Masten recalled of the Bunnies’ reaction to Cornelius’ invitation. “Then these two young girls got in his Rolls-Royce and went up to his house. And we didn’t hear from them for three days.”

“These two young Bunnies were at Don Cornelius’ house and they were separated. One was locked in one room, and the other was in another room,” Masten continued, adding that the two sisters were “tied up and bound,” “sodomized” with “wooden objects,” and could hear one another being “brutalized” over the course of several days. . .

She also said that the “Playboy rules” prevented herself and other Playboy employees, with knowledge of the alleged incident, from calling the police after one of the abducted women was finally able to escape and make contact with another Bunny mother. Masten didn’t specify who at Playboy told her not to contact the authorities, or whether it was an actual formal policy at the company. Christian School in Dallas Hosts Racially Segregated School Clubs

Documents obtained by The Federalist reveal that Parish Episcopal School, an elite private school in Dallas, Texas, hosted racially segregated school clubs and targeted a student who objected. One faculty member with power over school curriculum has also expressed extreme anti-cop and anti-white sentiments, and the school has ties to far-left organizations. . .

A flyer from the school explains the purpose and nature of the racially segregated student groups, called “affinity groups.” It notes that the groups are open to “all upper school students” before going on to insist the groups remained racially segregated, saying “we only ask that you respect that if you do not identify as the members of that group, please do not attend that meeting group.”

Affinity groups were hosted for a number of races and sexual behaviors, including for Hispanic and African American students, as well as for those who identify as LGBTQ+. An affinity group was also hosted for white students, and was labeled “White Allies for Racial Equity.”

Whoopi Goldberg ‘Is in Deep S–t’ and Should Be Fired, ABC Insiders Claim

There is growing fury inside ABC over Whoopi Goldberg’s controversial Holocaust claims, with insiders insisting that her apology isn’t enough and demanding that she be fired.

On Monday’s edition of “The View,” Goldberg, 66, alleged that the Holocaust was “not about race,” claiming Nazis and Jews were both white.

She doubled down on the claim on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Monday after stating via Twitter, “I stand corrected.”

However, sources tell Page Six that staffers and fellow hosts on “The View,” as well as insiders at Disney, are furious that Goldberg has not been disciplined.

“ABC staffers and Disney Network execs are saying Whoopi went way too far. And board members are not happy with her apology and want a fuller retraction. Jewish Couple Sues to Stop Tennessee Christians From Helping With Adoptions

Elizabeth and Gabriel Rutan-Ram are suing the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, but their real beef is with the Holston United Methodist Home for Children. The Knoxville couple, who are Jewish, wished to adopt a boy from Florida, but part of the adoption process involved them taking a state-approved family training course.

According to the lawsuit they filed in state court, they reached out to Holston United because it was the only government-approved agency that could provide them the services they needed. But after initially thinking the home would work with them, they were told that the Methodist group’s core religious principles forbid it from placing children in non-Christian homes. . .

But if they win their case, it will be a blow to religious freedom rather than a triumph for it.

The goal of the lawsuit is to overturn legislation signed into law by Gov. Bill Lee in January 2020 that explicitly permits religious adoption agencies to decline to be involved in cases that “would violate the agency’s written religious or moral convictions or policies.” The Rutan-Rams’ lawyers — backed by the American Civil Liberties Union — contend the law violates both the Tennessee Constitution and the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees freedom of religion. Under Biden Proposal, Everyone Including Kids Could More Easily Get Transgender Surgery

The Biden administration is pushing for more insurers, and thus anyone who buys their insurance, to cover transgender surgeries. Such genital, breast, and facial surgery, as well as hormone therapy and more, would be considered “medically necessary” for those wishing to identify with the other sex.

Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability is prohibited in federally funded health-care facilities under the Affordable Care Act, passed during the Obama administration. A proposed rule, issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on January 5, would add “sexual orientation and gender identity” to that list.

The rule “places ideology ahead of sound medicine,” the Ethics and Public Policy Center said in a comment Thursday opposing the rule. It “is without legal support, contradicts long-standing scientific understandings of the human person, attempts to evade court injunctions, promotes harm to patients (especially minors), tramples religious freedom,” and more, according to the EPPC.

Taxpayers are already paying for transgender procedures, as they are covered by the federal program Medicaid in some states. Some insurers also already cover the procedures.

“Nearly half of transgender respondents in one survey said their health insurance company denied them gender affirming [sic] surgery, and a similar proportion reported that they were denied coverage for hormone therapy,” the proposed rule states, in reference to a Center for American Progress study. GOP Lawmakers Introduce Bill to Extend Child Tax Credit to Unborn Babies

Republicans in Congress are introducing legislation aimed at recognizing the humanity of an unborn child by allowing pregnant mothers to claim tax credits on their unborn babies, The Daily Signal has learned.

Introduced Friday by Sen. Steve Daines of Montana, Rep. Jason Smith of Missouri, and Rep. Doug Lamborn of Colorado, the Child Tax Credit for Pregnant Moms Act of 2022 would give expectant mothers the ability to save $2,000 in taxes by claiming the child tax credit for their unborn children.

“From the moment a baby is conceived, a family’s priorities begin adjusting to prepare for their arrival,” Smith told The Daily Signal in a statement. “It’s time for our tax code to help babies who are still in the womb by making sure their parents have the resources necessary for their arrival.”

Under the proposed legislation, any baby born between January and April can be claimed retroactively for the prior year. Other newborn children would receive a double credit for the year of birth, and unborn babies who are miscarried or delivered stillborn will also be eligible for the tax credit.

“Expecting parents begin providing and preparing for their child the minute they learn they’re having a baby. The child tax credit should reflect the fact that unborn children are children, too,” Daines told The Daily Signal. “From prenatal care to stocking up on baby supplies, this tax relief will help parents prepare for the arrival of their baby.”

Lamborn noted that the legislation would encourage childbirth by allowing pregnant mothers to collect the child tax credit and get the resources needed for their babies.

“Despite attempts by the left to dehumanize the unborn, we must continue working to recognize the inherent value and dignity of our unborn babies,” the Colorado lawmaker said.

The pro-life legislation comes a week after the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court’s landmark 1973 abortion decision legalizing abortion across the nation, and the 49th annual March for Life, which took place Jan. 21 in Washington, D.C.

The Supreme Court heard arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in December, a case involving a 2018 Mississippi law that banned abortions after 15 weeks.

Known as the Gestational Age Act, the law was blocked by a federal appellate court after abortion proponents challenged it on behalf of Mississippi’s last remaining abortion clinic, Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

After the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the law in December 2019, the state of Mississippi asked the Supreme Court to take up the case.

Dobbs is one of the most pivotal abortion cases in recent history as it directly challenges Roe v. Wade. The case addresses whether bans on abortion prior to fetal viability are constitutional.
