University Warns Students Not to Say These ‘Oppressive’ Words

The rule of thumb at this ultra-woke college is, don’t say “rule of thumb.”

Students and faculty at Brandeis University are being urged to stop using words and phrases like “picnic,” “trigger warning” and even “rule of thumb,” because of what a campus counseling service calls their links to violence and power to “reinforce systems of oppression.”

A compendium of “potentially oppressive language” posted on the school’s website by its Prevention, Advocacy and Resource Center also lists loads of examples of “gender exclusive,” “ableist,” and “culturally appropriative” terminology that “can get in the way of meaningful dialogue.”

The “Oppressive Language List,” first reported by Fox News, was developed recently as part of the PARC’s “Response to Anti-Blackness” program and “is always growing based on suggestions from the community,” according to a web page titled “Holding Ourselves Accountable.” (Read more from “University Warns Students Not to Say These ‘Oppressive’ Words” HERE)

Armed Cops Charge Parents as School Board Gets Tough On Dissent to Transgender Policy

Two people were arrested or given citations for trespassing and disorderly conduct when the Loudon County school board in Virginia, which triggered a war with parents by proposing to teach their children a transgender agenda, tried to shut down parental comments on its social campaign at this week’s meeting.

The board is the one that punished a teacher, Tanner Cross, with a suspension and a ban for objecting to members’ decision to adopt teaching programs that violated his Christian faith, and then doubled down on that decision by pursuing an appeal of a court order to reinstate him. . .

The fight came to a head this week when 259 residents signed up to address the board at a meeting on the subject of the proposed policy 8040 which calls for boys who say they’re girls to be allowed to use restrooms and shower facilities with biological girls. . .

The board said the public comment period was closed, several members of the audience said it was not, and two were cited when they refused to leave immediately. . .

Pope Francis: ‘Tear Down the Walls’ Against Islam!

Pope Francis wants any and all walls, real or figurative, that stand between the West and Islam broken down immediately — or so he’s constantly saying.

Most recently, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, he called for the “growth of a more supportive humanity that tears down the wall of indifference.” This was spoken in the context of urging Europeans to take in more illegally-arrived Muslim migrants.

Earlier, in March 2019, when asked “a question about migration in general and about U.S. President Donald Trump’s then-threat to shut down the southern border with Mexico,” the pope pontificated in platitudes. “Builders of walls,” he said, “be they made of razor wire or bricks, will end up becoming prisoners of the walls they build. … With fear, we will not move forward, with walls, we will remain closed within these walls.”

Less than a week before that, Francis lectured the mayor of Rome about the need to be more welcoming to Muslim migrants. “Rome,” he declared, “a hospitable city, is called to face this epochal challenge [floods of Muslim migrants demanding entry] in the wake of its noble history; to use its energies to welcome and integrate, to transform tensions and problems into opportunities for meeting and growth.”

WH Dodges Question on Whether Biden Thinks 15-Week-Old Unborn Baby Is a Person

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki declined to say if President Biden believes a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being during Monday’s press briefing.

“Does the president believe that a 15-week-old unborn baby is a human being?” a reporter asked Psaki.

“Are you asking me if the president supports a woman’s right to choose? He does,” Psaki said.

Psaki’s response came after the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops voted overwhelmingly to draft a formal document on the meaning of the Eucharist after a contentious debate on whether Biden and other politicians who support abortion policies are worthy of receiving Communion at Mass. . .

Biden, who attends Mass regularly, has previously said he personally opposes abortion but doesn’t think he should impose that position on Americans who feel otherwise. He’s taken several executive actions during his presidency that were hailed by abortion rights advocates. State Department To Fly ‘Progress’ Flag In Honor Of Pride Month

The State Department will fly its pride flag later this month.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed at an Atlantic Council event Monday that the department will fly the “Progress” flag for the first time to mark Pride Month.

Blinken described the flag — which incorporates a black, brown, light blue, pink and white chevron into the traditional rainbow-colored pride flag — as “a symbol that encompasses the diversity and intersectionality of LGBTQI persons and communities around the world.”

The secretary said the flag would be flown for three days beginning June 26, the anniversary of the 2015 Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges that legalized gay marriage nationwide. The final day of the tribute, June 28, marks the 52nd anniversary of the beginning of the Stonewall riots in Greenwich Village. Sesame Street Adds Family With Two Gay Fathers

Sesame Street added two gay characters in a recent episode of the children’s entertainment program.

The episode, which aired on HBOMax Thursday, introduced viewers to Nina’s brother Dave, his husband Frank, and their daughter Mia as the characters celebrated “Family Day.”

Alan Muraoka, who co-directed the episode and also plays an eponymous store owner on the show, celebrated the addition of the gay characters on Facebook, writing that he was “honored and humbled” to have directed the “milestone” episode of the program.

“Sesame Street has always been a welcoming place of diversity and inclusion. Insanity: New Zealand Weightlifter To Become First Transgender Athlete at Olympic Games

New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard is set to become the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympic Games, after [he] was selected for the national team on Monday.

[He] will compete in the women’s 87-kilogram category, according to a statement released by the New Zealand Olympic Committee that also announced the four other members of the weightlifting team.

Hubbard, 43, qualified for the rescheduled Tokyo Games in May after a rule change, which effectively guaranteed her a spot in the super heavyweight category, Reuters reported at the time. This will be [his] first time at the Olympic Games — a remarkable comeback after a significant injury in 2018. . .

Weightlifting has been a focus in an ongoing heated debate over transgender athletes competing in women’s sports. Dozens of US states are considering legislation that would prevent transgender women and girls from participating in women’s categories, with several that have already enacted sports bans this year. Shrink Who Talked About Shooting White People Now Says They Are ‘Psychopathic’

The New York City psychiatrist who stunned a Yale School of Medicine audience in April when she revealed her fantasies of “unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way” characterized white people as “psychopathic” Thursday in an interview with disgraced former CNN pundit Marc Lamont Hill.

Dr. Aruna Khilanani — who also revealed in her talk at Yale’s Child Study Center April 6 that white people “make my blood boil” and “are out of their minds and have been for a long time” — joined Hill on the fledgling Black News Channel’s prime-time program “Black News Tonight” to discuss her shocking statements.

“Would it be fair to say, based on your expertise, that white people are psychopathic?” Hill asked Khilanani at one point.

Disturbing: Judge Gives Child Rapist Just 180 Days, While Forcing a Father To Get Experimental Vaccine Before Seeing His Kids

Rape someone else’s child? Just 180 days of jail time will suffice. You want to see your own child after divorcing your wife? You can never do that unless you take an experimental gene therapy sold as a vaccine. That is essentially the ethos from a pair of court decisions made by Polk County District Court Judge Travis Kitchens this month. The biggest irony of all? The local Fox affiliate reporter who broke these two stories is the same woman who tried to report about the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine and claims she was muzzled by Fox Corp. in doing so.

KRIV-TV reporter Ivory Hecker, who has since been fired, reported last week that Eli Binnion, a child rapist, was sentenced to just 180 days in jail (not prison) for a 2018 rape of a 14-year-old girl in a Polk County, Texas, motel. According to the victim’s father, Judge Travis Kitchens didn’t even allow the parents to testify at the sentencing hearing. While Binnion was in jail for the rape, he brutally attacked a fellow inmate, breaking his jaw. According to Hecker, “Judge Kitchens gave Binnion a three-year sentence for the assault, and because he’s been in jail since 2018, he’ll be out in a matter of months.” . . .

Just how liberal is this alleged Republican judge? While he lets child rapists off the hook, he treats fathers like criminals unless they get the mRNA gene therapy. In May, Hecker reported that Judge Kitchens ordered Chris Staley, a father of four going through a divorce, to get vaccinated for COVID before being able to visit his children, ages 6 through 11. The father is more likely to harm his children by infecting them with nearly any other respiratory virus or bacteria, yet Kitchens is making him take an experimental vaccine that is already very problematic.

It’s hard to imagine how this order does not run afoul of Gov. Greg Abbott’s order barring any state government official from mandating the vaccine. Yet we are seeing all over Texas, most prominently with 117 health care workers at Houston Methodist hospital, people being forced to serve as lab rats. Clearly, the governor and state legislature are not doing enough to protect both civil liberties and public health. DOJ Threatens To Abandon Legal Protections for Religious Schools

The Biden Department of Justice briefly instigated outrage from progressives recently when it filed a routine legal brief promising to defend Title IX’s statutory exemption for religious colleges. The DOJ filed the brief to fend off efforts by religious colleges, some of whom are represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, to intervene in a lawsuit brought by 40 past and present LGBT college students who claim the exemption violates the U.S. Constitution.

The exemption safeguards the ability of religious colleges that receive federal funds to maintain faith-based polices governing such things as student sexual conduct and sex-specific student housing. The DOJ wrote in its brief that it shared the proposed intervenors’ “ultimate objective…to defend the statutory exemption and its current application. . .

Amid this tour de force in obfuscation, the DOJ made one thing clear: the Department of Education is reviewing its Title IX regulations to ensure their consistency with the Biden administration’s “policy on guaranteeing an educational environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex.” Also, “until that process is complete,” the DOJ noted, “it would be premature to conclude that the government is an inadequate representative.” . . .

Echoing that order, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Pam Karlan of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division—the division charged with coordinating the enforcement and application of Title IX by executive agencies—concluded that, in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, Title IX now applies to gender identity and sexual orientation, even though Congress has persistently rejected numerous attempts to amend the statute to do that very thing.
