University Professor Threatens to Dismiss Students Who Openly Oppose Abortion, BLM

An Iowa State University professor is coming under fire after she issued a syllabus threatening discipline against students who undertook projects that opposed Black Lives Matter and abortion.

Labeled a “GIANT WARNING,” the portion of the syllabus banned “instances of othering,” which it defined as “sexism, ableism, homophobia,” and a variety of other things. “The same goes for any papers/projects: you cannot choose any topic that takes at its base that one side doesn’t deserve the same basic human rights as you do (ie: no arguments against gay marriage, abortion, Black Lives Matter, etc). I take this seriously,” it added.

Young America’s Foundation, a conservative youth organization, released a screenshot of the syllabus on Monday, claiming that it came from a professor named Chloe Clark. According to Iowa State’s website, the course, English 250, is for “written, oral, visual, and electronic composition.” The course is required as part of students’ “Communication Proficiency” requirement for graduation.

In a statement to Fox News, the university described the syllabus as “inconsistent” with its commitment to the First Amendment.

“The syllabus statement as written was inconsistent with the university’s standards and its commitment to the First Amendment rights of students,” a statement from the taxpayer-funded university read. New York’s Teachers Union Refuses to Work Unless Every Student, Staffer Tested for COVID-19

New York’s powerful teachers union threatened Wednesday to walk out unless every student and staffer in the Big Apple’s sprawling public school system is tested for the coronavirus as a precondition for restarting in-classroom learning — a near-impossible task.

United Federation of Teachers chief Michael Mulgrew issued the ultimatum as he laid out a series of preconditions that City Hall must meet for teachers to return to classrooms — demands he acknowledged could delay Mayor Bill de Blasio ‘s planned Sept. 10 reopening by a month.

“The minute we feel the mayor is trying to force people into an unsafe school, we go,” Mulgrew said, throwing down the gauntlet.

When asked to clarify, Mulgrew said that a walkout and sickout were among the options on the table. . .

“Every single person — both adult and child — that is to enter an NYC school must have evidence that they do not have the COVID virus,” Michael Mulgrew, the president of the United Federation of Teachers, told reporters at a press conference, where he laid out the demand. Obama Once Had to Apologize to Kamala Harris for Calling Her Attractive

Years before Barack Obama urged voters to make Kamala Harris the first female vice president at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, he took heat for praising her looks and then apologized for doing so.

“You have to be careful to, first of all, say she is brilliant, and she is dedicated, and she is tough, and she is exactly what you’d want in anybody who is administering the law and making sure that everybody is getting a fair shake,” the then-president said at an April 2013 fundraiser outside San Francisco about Harris, who was the California attorney general. “She also happens to be, by far, the best-looking attorney general in the country.” . . .

The comments prompted allegations of sexism. Salon writer Joan Walsh wrote that her “stomach turned over” when she heard the comment.

“Most women in public life have a complex relationship with their appearance, whether they’re as attractive as Harris or not,” she wrote, suggesting that “calling her ‘by far, the toughest attorney general’ would have had a better ring.” . . .

The next day, then-White House press secretary Jay Carney said that the president called Harris later that night and “apologized for the remark.” (Read more from “Obama Once Had to Apologize to Kamala Harris for Calling Her Attractive” HERE)

Black Men Don’t Like Kamala Harris

Sen. Kamala Harris has a problem with Black men. Rather, Black men have a problem with Sen. Kamala Harris.

Since her selection as presidential candidate Joe Biden’s running mate, I’ve received a deluge of phone calls, text messages, and WhatsApp group chats from Black men — only two of whom had positive things to say about her. One was from someone who sees himself in Harris; like her, he has one parent from Jamaica and another from India. The other is totally aligned with her policy positions. Everyone else, though, is down on the pick. . .

Before Harris became a senator, she was California’s attorney general, and before that, she served as district attorney of San Francisco. In both positions, her tenure and actions directly affected Black men. I’ve even heard people say that a Biden-Harris ticket would be worse for leading criminal justice reform than the current Trump-Pence administration. So do we lend our support without her acknowledging her record in these positions, or do we withhold it until we’re able to have a frank conversation with her about them?

. . .During her time as San Francisco’s district attorney, the conviction rate jumped from 52% to 67%. From 2002–2005, during her tenure, Black people made up less than 8% of the city’s population but accounted for over 40% of its police arrests. While she was attorney general for the state, her office oversaw over 1,900 marijuana convictions — convicting people on marijuana charges at a higher rate than under her predecessor. Judge Stops State From Enacting Ban on Transgender Athletes

A federal judge has issued a temporary injunction to stop Idaho from enacting a law banning transgender girls and women from participating in women’s sports while a legal challenge moves forward.

The Idaho Statesman reports the ruling means transgender athletes wanting to participate in sports that match their gender identity can do so this fall at the college and secondary school level.

U.S. District Judge David Nye ruled Monday that a preliminary injunction is warranted because the plaintiffs are likely to win in court as part of a lawsuit filed by the ACLU challenging the constitutionality of the law. Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Is Accusing Her of Affair With Joe Biden

Jill Biden’s ex-husband has accused the potential first lady of having an affair with Joe Biden and says they lied about how they met in the 1970s, according to a bombshell new report.

Bill Stevenson on Monday accused the presumptive Democratic nominee of being a home-wrecker and says the feel-good story of how Joe and Jill met on a blind date is completely made up, the Daily Mail reported.

“I don’t want to hurt anyone,” said Stevenson, now 72, who is working on a book that includes the lurid claim. “But facts are facts and what happened, happened.” . . .

The Bidens, who have been married since 1977, have publicly said they met on a blind date in 1975 — after Joe became a widower and Jill’s first marriage had broken up.

The damaging Daily Mail report comes just days before Biden is expected to be officially named the Democratic nominee Thursday. (Read more from “Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Is Accusing Her of Affair With Joe Biden” HERE)

Fox News Host Blasts ‘Corrupt’ Media for Downplaying Cannon Hinnant Murder

By Daily Caller. Fox News host Jesse Watters ripped the media as “corrupt” for downplaying or refusing to cover the murder of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant.

Darius Sessoms, 25, was charged with first-degree murder after allegedly shooting Hinnant in front of his two sisters as he was riding his bike in Wilson, North Carolina last week.

During a Saturday night “Watters’ World” monologue, Watters argued that the media’s lack of coverage of cases like this along with overcovering other types of violence is “done to divide us for votes.”

“There was no coverage on ABC, NBC or ‘CBS Evening News’,” Watters said after describing the known details of the case so far. “Or on primetime on CNN and MSNBC. The question is why? Racial violence always leads the news in American media. But this shooting is being buried.” (Read more from “Fox News Host Blasts ‘Corrupt’ Media for Downplaying Cannon Hinnant Murder” HERE)

‘What About This Boy?’: Nancy Grace Draws Attention To Cannon Hinnant’s Fatal Shooting

By Daily Caller. Fox Nation host Nancy Grace lamented what she saw to be the lack of media coverage of the murder of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant during a Friday night segment of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Darius Sessoms, a 25-year-old Wilson, North Carolina man, was charged with first-degree murder after allegedly shooting Hinnant in front of his two sisters as he was riding his bike. Sessoms and Hinnant’s father were neighbors and reportedly had dinner together the day before.

Alluding to the race of the victim and alleged perpetrator, Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked,”[W]hy haven’t the media covered this story? What about it don’t they like?” . . .

“When you put the picture up just then of Cannon, he was five years old,” Grace said, “He was set to start kindergarten this week. I think back on my children, they went to kindergarten and what a big day it was and now he’s gone forever. And you’re right, this case has not been covered and I wonder why too.”

“I don’t think you should draw broad societal conclusions from a single horrific crime,” Carlson said. “The media specializes obviously in that and some of those conclusions are misleading if not lies. But to ignore something completely — and they ignore murders, by the way, every day on the south side of Chicago as well — you really get the feeling that news coverage is guided purely by political imperatives, purely.” (Read more from “‘What About This Boy?’: Nancy Grace Draws Attention to Cannon Hinnant’s Fatal Shooting” HERE)

‘#Sayhisname’ Trends After Mainstream Media’s Silence on the Atrocious Killing of White 5-Year-Old

Major news networks have not reported on the atrocious of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant. The blackout of coverage on the murder of the young boy has sparked the hashtag #SayHisName on Twitter.

. . .Cannon Hinnant was riding his bicycle in front of his father’s house in North Carolina early Sunday evening. That’s when Darius N. Sessoms allegedly walked up to the boy, put a gun to his head, and executed him. Then Sessoms, a 25-year-old convicted felon, fled to his home next door in the town of Wilson.

The gruesome murder was reportedly witnessed by Hinnant’s 7-year-old and 8-year-old sisters, as well as neighbor Doris Labrant. . .

By Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, the hashtag #SayHisName trended on Twitter. Many, including Jason Howerton, pointed out that there was zero coverage of Cannon Hinnant’s murder by several mainstream media networks.

Disturbing Music Album Released for Transgender Children

Proponents of children questioning and even changing their biological sex have produced a musical compilation dubbed Trans and Nonbinary Kids Mix to benefit a summer camp in New Hampshire that caters to parents who believe young children can choose their gender.

According to the LGBT Foundation, children understand and should be counted in this category:

Non-binary is used to describe people who feel their gender cannot be defined within the margins of gender binary. Instead, they understand their gender in a way that goes beyond simply identifying as either a man or woman. Some non-binary people may feel comfortable within trans communities and find this is a safe space to be with others who don’t identify as cis, but this isn’t always the case.

. . .“I think people underestimate the ability for younger kids to know about gender,” they say, NPR reported using a confusing pronoun. “There’s a lot of research that shows that kids know what their gender is, even around age 2.”

“You can’t tell a kid to not think about something,” Be says. “I would say in general, if a parent is uncomfortable with talking about anything big like this, like how a kid identifies, you are missing a big opportunity to connect with your child, to love your child and support your child. That’s a big problem, gender aside.” (Read more from “Disturbing Music Album Released for Transgender Children” HERE)

Actress Calls Out Kamala Harris for Accepting Donations From ‘Predator’ Harvey Weinstein

Rose McGowan, actress and one of the original vocal leaders of the #MeToo movement, called out Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) for previously accepting donations from convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein. The activist also lashed out at Democrats for inviting former President Bill Clinton to speak at the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

On the same day that Harris was named as Joe Biden’s running mate, McGowan asked the newly anointed vice presidential candidate if she had returned the money that was given to her by Weinstein.

The topic of old political donations started with a tweet by Washington Post national political reporter Matt Viser. He shared a graphic alleging that President Donald Trump donated $6,000 to Harris’ re-election campaign for California attorney general between 2011 and 2013. His daughter, Ivanka Trump, reportedly donated $2,000 to the Harris campaign in 2014.

“It’s hard to say which is more revealing of the fatal rot at the core of American politics, the fact that Trump and his daughter sent checks to Harris’s campaigns or that Harris greedily cashed them,” said Jeffrey St. Clair, editor of the “progressive” political magazine CounterPunch. . .

Harris and other politicians who received money from Weinstein, including Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), announced they would donate the money to charities that support women days after the publication of a New York Times article that outlined sexual harassment allegations against the disgraced Hollywood producer going back 30 years.
