Meanwhile, This Is What LGBTQ Organizations Are Doing to Society

Virtually every week, there seems to be another issue that preoccupies the country. But while our attention is focused on President Donald Trump, Google, Charlottesville, Russia, impeachment, Jeffrey Epstein, the next elections, racism, a trade war with China, the #MeToo movement or something else, LGBTQ organizations are quietly going about their work dismantling ethical norms, making a mockery of education, ruining innocent people’s lives and destroying children’s innocence. If you think this is overstated, here are some examples:

. . .

Last month, a transgender weightlifter won multiple gold medals at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa. Laurel Hubbard of New Zealand won two gold medals and a silver in the three heavyweight categories for women weighing more than 87 kilograms, or 192 pounds. Hubbard is physically male. . .

As reported by the Associated Press: “Parents also can choose (gender) ‘X’ for newborns. New York City is joining California, Oregon, Washington state in allowing an undesignated gender option on birth certificates. A similar provision takes effect in New Jersey in February.”

What percentage of Americans believe children are lucky if born to parents who will not identify them at birth as male or female? On the other hand, how many of us think such parents are engaged in a form of child abuse? . . .

The Associated Press also recently reported that “California has overhauled its sex education guidance for public school teachers, encouraging them to talk about gender identity with kindergartners.” (Read more from “Meanwhile, This Is What LGBTQ Organizations Are Doing to Society” HERE)

Veteran in Assisted Living Home Was Dead for 4 DAYS Without Anyone Realizing

By The Blaze. The Department of Veterans Affairs has removed all veterans from an assisted living home in Van Nuys, California, after authorities discovered a dead veteran inside the building. . .

The Los Angeles Times reported that the deceased veteran’s body wasn’t even the only incident that had taken place at the California Villa home.

A 100-year-old veteran reportedly did not receive antibiotics for sepsis, a deadly infection, because Medicare did not cover the necessary drugs. The veteran was hospitalized twice in connection with the incident.

Another veteran at the facility was reportedly overdosed in error, and a third patient was charged $5 because he preferred to take his meals in his private room. . .

Special counsel Henry J. Kerner expressed his disgust at the conditions, writing in a letter to the White House on Thursday, “I am shocked that such lax oversight of facilities providing critical care for vulnerable veterans ever occurred.” (Read more from “Veteran in Assisted Living Home Was Dead for 4 Days Without Anyone Realizing” HERE)

VA Cuts off Van Nuys Assisted Living Home That Reported Visit to Veteran Who Had Died

By Los Angeles Times. Federal officials pulled veterans from a Van Nuys assisted living home after finding that the facility had reported a social worker visiting a veteran who had been dead for four days, according to a report released Thursday. . .

Authorities from Washington, D.C., blamed the VA’s Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System for failing to investigate and address “serious residential care concerns” at the facility, but added that program administrators had not reported the problems to upper management.

The healthcare system had California Villa on an approved list, and helped place veterans there, but suspended referrals and relocated most of their clients during the investigation in 2018.

The investigation was initiated by the U.S. Special Counsel based on whistleblower complaints. . .

The California Department of Social Services had sought to revoke California Villa’s license after finding that the facility in 2017 had not addressed serious safety issues stemming from a resident’s repeated assaults on other residents, which resulted in at least one hospitalization, state records show. Losing Faith: Notable Christian Songwriter Says He’s No Longer a Believer

. . .Marty Sampson — an Australian worship music songwriter known for his work with Hillsong — said, “All I know is what’s true to me right now, and Christianity just seems to me like another religion at this point.”

Sampson wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post that “I’m genuinely losing my faith…and it doesn’t bother me…like, what bothers me now is nothing…I am so happy now, so at peace with the world.. it’s crazy.” It also appears he’s cleared his Instagram account of all posts.

Sampson added, “How many preachers fall? Many. No one talks about it. How many miracles happen. Not many. No one talks about it. Why is the Bible full of contradictions? No one talks about it. How can God be love yet send 4 billion people to a place, all coz they don’t believe? No one talks about it. Christians can be the most [judgmental] people on the planet — they can also be some of the most beautiful and loving people…but it’s not for me. I am not in anymore.”

“Not the ‘I just believe it’ kind of truth. Science keeps piercing the truth of every religion. Lots of things help people change their lives, not just one version of God … Unfollow if you want, I’ve never been about living my life for others.”

Sampson concluded his post with the following: “Love and forgive absolutely. Be kind absolutely. Be generous and do good to others absolutely. Some things are good no matter what you believe. Let the rain fall, the sun will come up tomorrow.” (Read more from “Losing Faith: Notable Christian Songwriter Says He’s No Longer a Believer” HERE)

Waitress Given Tip She Considers ‘a Gift from God’

. . .A waitress at a Mexican restaurant in Arkansas was left stunned when two regulars gifted her a 2019 Buick as a tip.

Maria Elena Barragan had just finished serving David Harrison and Shelia Harrison during her double shift at Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant in Rogers. . .

“I got scared at first because I thought I was in trouble,” she told the news outlet. “They pulled up some seats at the table and told me how much they appreciated and loved me and then they presented me with a gift bag.” . . .

The mother of two young boys said she refused the extremely generous gift, but David told her to take it “because God led [him] to do it.”

“I didn’t take it as a tip. I took it as a gift from God,” she said. (Read more from “Waitress Given Tip She Considers ‘a Gift from God'” HERE)

Tennessee to Push for Total Abortion Ban

After struggling to pass a six-week abortion ban earlier this year, Tennessee lawmakers are now considering one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country: a total ban on the procedure.

On Monday and Tuesday, the state’s judiciary committee will hear testimony from more than 20 witnesses and debate an 11-page amendment to its stalled “fetal heartbeat” bill. If the changes are adopted, the legislation will ban abortion once a woman knows she’s pregnant.

The committee, which has seven Republicans and two Democrats, is expected to accept the changes. The amended bill would be put up for a vote in January 2020, when the legislature reconvenes.

This week’s summer study comes as states have raced to pass legislation restricting abortion, hoping to challenge Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that protects access to the procedure. This year, six states — Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Ohio — passed so-called “heartbeat” bills, legislation that bans abortion after cardiac activity can be detected in a fetus. Missouri passed an eight-week ban in May, and Alabama went a step further passing a near-total abortion ban. . .

In Tennessee’s Senate, lawmakers, including Roberts, questioned whether “fetal heartbeat” bans were the best vehicle to dismantle the federal protections surrounding abortion. Late in the legislative session, the 11-page amendment was introduced to convert the bill from an effective six-week ban to a near-total abortion ban, providing exceptions only if the procedure would save the mother’s life or avert “serious risk of substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function,” according to the amendment’s text. 14-Year-Old with One Million Followers Allegedly Threatens to Shoot up Youtube HQ After Being Banned for Anti-Gay Video

A teenager with nearly a million followers on YouTube reportedly threatened the streaming platform’s headquarters with a mass shooting after being banned from the site for violating its hate speech policy.

Soph, a 14-year-old who goes by the handle @sewerrat, tweeted a photo of herself and what appears to be an assault rifle, Buzzfeed first reported. The accompanying caption read “YouTube headquarters here I come.” . . .

The high school freshman was banned from YouTube earlier this month after posting the latest in a string of anti-LGBT videos.

“If you want to be sexually promiscuous as an adult with other consenting adults, feel ,” she announced in a 12-minute clip, titled “Pride and Prejudice.” “Just don’t try to get kids roped in with your street orgies.” . . .

After her channel was taken down from YouTube, her Patreon and Bonfire pages were similarly removed and links she provided to a Bitcoin Cash site did not work. Her videos, including “Pride and Prejudice,” can still be viewed on the streaming site BitChute. Sister Killed by Ohio Shooter Identified as a Man

The friends of the Dayton, Ohio shooter’s sibling, who was the first killed before he went on to attack a bar and restaurant area, say Megan Betts was a transgender man who had not come out yet to most people.

Splinter reports Betts identified as Jordan Cofer and used he/him pronouns. It also appears Cofer’s being transgender was not the motivation behind the killing.

“Jordan was my closest friend,” a friend of Cofer said. “He identified with he/him pronouns to people he trusted and knew would support him. Jordan was probably one of the sweetest people you would ever meet, a true saint, but he was also very scared constantly. He tried to give the best to everyone.” . . .

“Jordan told me in the past that he was not out to his family, but that could have changed in the past month as we barely spoke of the topic recently,” the friend explained, adding he never told his brother about being trans.

Another friend from middle and high school, who is also transgender, said they remember Cofer as queer but still in the closet.

Viral Video Shows Drag Queen Teaching Children to ‘Twerk’ as Parents Look on

Another “Drag Queen Story Hour” program is making headlines, this time for a featured drag queen captured on video teaching children how to so-called “twerk,” a popular sexually suggestive dance move practiced by the likes of strippers and adult entertainers.

“All you need to do is you just need to stand with your feet sort of shoulder-width apart like so,” an adult male in full drag with the stage name “Mama G” instructed children at a United Kingdom library earlier this month, according to LifeSiteNews. “And then you crouch down in this sort of position, so you’re bump’s sticking out … then you just move your bum up and down like that. And that’s twerking.”

The Twitter account for Devon Library, which is a network over 50 libraries in the U.K., boasted about the performance online. “Mama G is back in Devon this week. Combining panto, drag and the traditional art of story-telling: Mama G will be sharing tales that celebrate being who you are & loving who you want,” a promotional tweet said. Mama G was booked at the Bideford and Barnstaple libraries.

. . .

Libraries Unlimited, which runs Devon’s libraries on behalf of Devon County Council, according to Devon Live, also defended the event: “Story times and bounce and rhyme sessions are some of our most popular events across the county, with thousands of children attending each year. We host a variety of themed storytimes and they are always a huge success,” the group said in a statement.

“As a charity, we are committed to ensuring our libraries are welcoming, safe and inclusive places for all. We celebrate the arts, equality and diversity and are proud that our libraries offer a space for communities to come together and enjoy the power of words, reading and storytelling,” the statement continued. “At Libraries Unlimited we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and have a safeguarding policy that is followed by all staff across the organisation.” (Read more from “Viral Video Shows Drag Queen Teaching Children to ‘Twerk’ as Parents Look on” HERE)

New Law Requires LGBT History to Be Taught in Schools

Illinois Democratic Governor J.B. Pritzker signed into law legislation that requires all state-recognized public schools to include in their curriculum the study of historic contributions that members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community have made for the state and the country.

The law mandates that “Each public school district and state-recognized, non-public school shall, subject to appropriations for that purpose, receive a per pupil grant for the purchase of secular and non-discriminatory textbooks.” The state’s Board of Education will publish an annual list of “approved textbooks.”

One of the main supporters of the bill, State Sen. Heather Steans (D), said the reason for the bill is because “one of the best ways to overcome intolerance is through education and exposure to different people and viewpoints.” . . .

“It is my hope that teaching students about the valuable contributions LGBTQ individuals have made throughout history will create a safer environment with fewer incidents of harassment,” she continued. “LGBTQ children and teenagers will also be able to gain new role models who share life experiences with them.”

While the LGBT curriculum is limited only to public schools, the bill also mandates that private and Catholic schools expand their history lessons to include “a study of the role of labor unions and their interaction with government in achieving the goals of a mixed free enterprise system.” It also requires the teaching of contributions from numerous ethnic and immigrant groups. Family of Couple Who Died Protecting Their Infant Child in El Paso Gets Death Threats over Trump Photo

By The Blaze. Last week we learned of two of the many tragic deaths in the despicable and horrible massacre in El Paso, the passing of a husband and wife shot dead while shielding their two-month-old infant.

In the days that followed, The President and Melania Trump visited victims in both Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, where the two attacks occurred. In the hospital in Texas, Trump posed for photos with several people, including the family of that couple, and the infant whose life they protected. . .

Tito Anchondo, brother of Andre and brother-in-law of Jordan, pushed back against the criticism.

“He was just there as a human being, consoling us and giving us condolences,” Anchondo said. The President “wasn’t there to be pushing any kind of political agenda.” . . .

What hasn’t caught much press was the fact that the family of the deceased, — that is, the direct immediately family of two of the victims of the mass killing, who are now the guardians of that baby who lives because his parents died — that family is now receiving threats. Uncle of Orphaned Boy Defends Trump’s Appearance in Photo

By The Houston Chronicle. The uncle of a 2-month-old boy whose parents were killed in the El Paso mass shooting on Friday defended a photo that shows first lady Melania Trump holding the baby while President Donald Trump smiles and gives a thumbs-up gesture. . .

Tito Anchondo declined to describe the encounter with Trump in more detail, saying he had received death threats.

“We should be coming together as a country at this time instead of threatening each other with hate messages,” he said. (Read more from “Uncle of Orphaned Boy Defends Trump’s Appearance in Photo” HERE)
