School District Wants Teachers to Bless Muslims During Ramadan

A school district in Seattle has sent out a letter asking teachers to bless its Muslim students in Arabic during the month of Ramadan and give them preferential treatment, such as obtaining dispensations for classes and exams, reports Fox News.

In response to the letter, the religious liberty legal defense group Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF), has threatened the Dieringer School District with a potential lawsuit for violating the conscience of its employees. FCDF alleges that the district followed edicts put forward by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) that advises schools to accommodate Muslim students by wishing them “Ramadan Mubarak” (Happy Ramadan) or “Ramadan Kareem” (Have a generous Ramadan). The edicts also instruct teachers to respect the Ramadan fast by not scheduling any tests during the holidays of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. More from Fox News:

The defense fund claims Dieringer Superintendent Judy Martinson blindly followed the recommendations of CAIR and “enacted the letter as official district policy.” The defense fund sent Martinson a letter stating their complaints after a teacher and parent complained about the new procedure.

The May 6 letter also warned Martinson about CAIR’s anti-semitic advocacy and alleged ties to radical Islamists, which the group has long denied.

Daniel Piedra, FCDF’s executive director, said in a statement that the Seattle-area school district is violating teachers’ First Amendment rights by exerting pressure upon them to engage in religious speech with which they do not agree. Piedra argues that the district would never advise teachers to accommodate Christian students in such a similar manner. Biden’s Grandson Asked Him About Internet Meme Accusing Him of Molesting a Child

By Breitbart. Vice President Joe Biden said his grandson asked him recently about an internet meme of him molesting a child at his son’s funeral. . .

“Pop it says: ‘Look at Biden molesting a kid,” Biden recalled about the meme, quoting his grandson. . .

The photo he was referring to was a cropped photo from the Associated Press of Biden clutching and speaking to Hunter at the 2015 funeral for his son Beau. The meme tries to capitalize on other photos on the Internet of Biden touching children and making them feel uncomfortable.

Biden said he relayed the story to show supporters that both he and his family were aware of how Trump could attack the Biden family during the 2020 election, but he spoke in detail about a conversation he had with his grandson Hunter.

Biden’s grandson Hunter is the son of Hunter Biden, who divorced his wife in 2007 and had an affair with his dead brother Beau Biden’s widow. Biden Says Adult Granddaughter Told Him: ‘Mommy and Daddy Had a Divorce and They’re Going to Really Go After That’

By Washington Examiner. Joe Biden has said that President Trump will attack his family and that a grown-up granddaughter told him that the fact that “mommy and daddy had a divorce” would be exploited in the 2020 campaign.

“This guy [Trump] is going to go after me and my family,” Biden said a fundraiser in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday before telling a story about how his grandchildren implored him to run for president. “My generic point is they know how tough it’s going to be,” Biden said to the group of about three dozen attendees gathered in the home of Dick Harpootlian, a state senator and former South Carolina state chairman of the Democratic Party.

But it also appeared to be a warning that he considered his family to be off limits in the campaign, and that press coverage of the several women who have come forward to accuse him of touching women without their consent was hurtful to his grandchildren. . .

Hunter Biden, 49, and his wife Kathleen divorced in 2017 after it emerged that he had been having an affair with his sister-in-law Hallie after Beau’s death. Kathleen claimed in divorce papers, that Hunter had spent “extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations), while leaving the family with no funds to pay legitimate bills.”

In 2014, Hunter Biden was discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine during a drug test. He joined the military at the late age of 43, which required an age waiver, as well as one for a separate drug-related incident. FLASHBACK: Biden Says He Spent All Summer Trying to Get Black Men to Wear Condoms, Praises Obama for Getting AIDS Test

A racially-charged clip of Biden from 2007 discussing condom use in the black community and AIDS testing has become the latest un-Woke clip of the former VP to come under scrutiny.

On a debate stage alongside Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, Biden bragged about spending his entire summer trying to convince black men to wear condoms, scolded “the community” for being “in denial” about AIDS, and praised Obama for getting an AIDS test.

“As Hillary points out, there’s neglect in the part of the medical and the white community focusing on educating the minority community out there. I spent last summer going through the black sections of my town holding rallies in parks trying to get black men to understand it’s not unmanly to wear a condom, getting women to understand they can say no, getting people in the position where testing matters,” the Democrat said.

Biden then bragged about him and Obama getting tested for AIDS. . .

“I know Barack got tested for AIDS. WATCH: Lawmaker Offers to Pay $100 to Anyone Who Can Help Him Dox Pro-Life Teens

Pennsylvania State Representative Brian Sims spends his free time harassing elderly women and teenagers who try and help women who are wanting to go through with an abortion. Instead of allowing these pro-life advocates to stand outside Planned Parenthood and talk with women entering the facility, Sims decided to film himself harassing and shaming them.

Even though it appears things couldn’t get any worse than when he follows an elderly woman and encourages viewers to donate a $100 to Planned Parenthood for every hour she stood out there, he turned the notch up a bit. He was despicable and decided to offer $100 to anyone who could provide the names and addresses of the three teenagers who were outside the Planned Parenthood facility.

Times Square Billboard Owners Refuse Space for Pro-Life Event

On Saturday, May 4, Focus on the Family [held] an event it’s calling “Alive from New York,” featuring speakers, live music, and a “live 4D ultrasound of a baby in the third trimester of pregnancy and broadcast on the jumbotrons in the middle of Manhattan.” New York became a focal point of the abortion debate in January, when the state enacted a law effectively permitting abortion-on-demand up until birth, to the cheers of Democrat lawmakers and left-wing activists.

“Nearly 60 million babies have been aborted since 1973,” the group explained. “In fact, just three miles from where we’ll be gathering on May 4th, sits Planned Parenthood’s largest clinic. Over 11,000 babies are aborted there each year, an unfathomable fact for anyone who loves and cherishes life. So, our goal is to fill Times Square with joy-filled people who are committed to protecting pre-born life.”

On Wednesday, Focus on the Family president Jim Daly announced that three of the companies who own Times Square billboards – Silvercast, Clear Channel Outdoor, and ABC Supersign – have refused to lease space for the pro-life event.

“In many ways, this blockade only confirms what we’ve long known,” Daly wrote. “There are many people who don’t want the world to see these images of preborn life, because the abortion industry is predicated on a lie – namely that a baby is just a blob of tissue inside the womb.” . . .

Pro-lifers support and abortion activists oppose ultrasound requirements for their ability to convey the humanity of preborn babies and dissuade women from abortion. Pro-life groups Save the Storks says that four out of five pregnant women who see one of their free ultrasounds ultimately choose life. Want to See Bill and Hillary Clinton on Tour? Grab Your Couch Change

By The Blaze. The disastrous “An Evening With The Clintons” tour is coming mercifully to its end, and if you want to be there for the final moments, it won’t cost you much. Ticket prices have been slashed, slashed, and slashed again.

The tour is wrapping up over the weekend, and Sunday night’s final show at the MGM isn’t even sold out yet. Tickets for the weekend’s shows were going for prices so low you would probably pay more for an uber to the venue or the parking outside than the entry fee to hear Bill and Hillary talk. . .

On Saturday, the Daily Wire found StubHub prices at an amazing $6 for the LA show. And the DailyMail found them for TWO DOLLARS. . .

This isn’t a late-breaking development. Prices began to drop off a cliff at the end of last year. The tour took a break for the winter, but coming back didn’t rescue flagging sales.

Last week in D.C., they threw in a video of Hillary Clinton reading from the Mueller report, but over most of the tour they haven’t talked much Trump–perhaps a contributing factor in the lack of interest. Ticket Prices to See Clintons Plummet

By The Daily Caller. The former president and first lady are on the speaking circuit but the cost of seeing the pair pontificate on politics and current affairs is dropping as the tour progresses. Tickets can be had for as little as $20 while the VIP seating at Seattle’s WaMu Theatre was priced at $829 — down from the $1,785 asking price when the tour began last November, the Seattle Times reported. . .

Tour organizers have cut prices and reached out to Groupon to sell tickets, according to the New York Post.

The Clintons faced an overwhelmingly positive audience in Seattle, according to a Times reviewer. Hillary Clinton, who spent much of 2017 on an international speaking tour to promote her book “What Happened” stuck to a political patter that is heavily critical of President Donald Trump. Muslim Society ‘Investigating’ Alarming Video of Children, Attempts to Defend Content

A national Muslim group says it will conduct an investigation into an event at a Philadelphia Islamic center last month during which a group of youngsters sang songs it said were not “properly vetted,” calling that “an unintended mistake and an oversight.”

Youngsters at the Muslim American Society Islamic Center in North Philadelphia are shown in video footage speaking in Arabic during a celebration of “Ummah Day,” said the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a Middle East monitoring organization. One girl says “we will chop off their heads” to “liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque” in Jerusalem, according to the MEMRI. . .

“While we celebrate the coming together of different cultures and languages, not all songs were properly vetted,” the Muslim American Society, based in Washington, said in a statement issued Friday. “This was an unintended mistake and an oversight in which the center and the students are remorseful. MAS will conduct an internal investigation to ensure this does not occur again.” . . .

In a subsequent statement late Saturday night, MAS said it has been informed that “the person in charge” of the April 17 event has been “dismissed” and that the organization in charge of it “will form a local commission to aid in sensitivity training and proper oversight for future programs.” MAS said it owns the property where the program was held and leases it to the school’s operator.

According to MEMRI, one girl reads: “We will defend the land of divine guidance with our bodies, and we will sacrifice our souls without hesitation. Massive Beer Company Selling Rainbow Beer Bottles to Benefit Homosexuals

In honor of Pride Month, Bud Light will be selling special rainbow bottles in partnership with the Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). . .

“Bud Light is partnering with GLAAD to launch its first-ever rainbow aluminum bottle to celebrate World Pride,” reports PR Newswire. “The new limited-edition bottles will be available in bars nationwide throughout the month of June. For every case of rainbow bottles sold from May 27 to June 30, Bud Light will donate $1 to GLAAD, up to $150,000 to assist in their efforts of creating a world where everyone can live the life they love.”

The bottles will also include a pro-LGBT message about love and inclusivity in place of the Bud Light creed printed on the bottle’s crest. They will be introduced at the GLAAD Media Awards this weekend in New York City before going on sale in bars later this month.

In a statement, Andy Goeler, Vice President of Marketing for Bud Light, highlighted the company’s ongoing relationship with the LGBTQ community since the 80s, saying the new rainbow bottles will be for everyone to enjoy.

Trump Administration Announces New Protections for Pro-Life Health Care Orgs

The Trump administration finalized a new rule in the Department of Health and Human services to protect the conscience rights of pro-life people and institutions in the health care field, officials announced Thursday.

The actual finalized rule is a pretty long one, totaling a whopping 440 pages in PDF form. The summary section at the top of the document states that the new rules are meant to step up the enforcement efforts of laws already passed by Congress to “ensure vigorous enforcement of Federal conscience and anti‐discrimination laws applicable to the Department, its programs, and recipients of HHS funds.”

A primary goal of the new regulation is to ensure that people and institutions in the medical field cannot be discriminated against by the government or others because of beliefs that bar them from taking part in or providing abortion. It also protects beliefs against contraception and “assisted suicide, euthanasia, or mercy killing.”

The enforcement of those new laws will fall to HHS’ Office of Civil Rights (OCR).

“This rule ensures that healthcare entities and professionals won’t be bullied out of the health care field because they decline to participate in actions that violate their conscience, including the taking of human life,” reads a statement from OCR Director Roger Severino. “Protecting conscience and religious freedom not only fosters greater diversity in healthcare, it’s the law.”

“Laws prohibiting government funded discrimination against conscience and religious freedom will be enforced like every other civil rights law,” explained Severino.

On a call with reporters Thursday afternoon, Severino went into greater detail on the scope of the rule, explaining that it’s meant to be an improvement over 2011 Obama administration regulations that have proven inadequate in the years since their enactment.

As an example of people who would be protected under the new regulations, Severino reminded reporters of the story of Cathy DeCarlo, a pro-life New York nurse who was forced by her employer to take part in an abortion, despite her clear, conscientious objections to doing so.

Severino also that the new regulations would even go as far as ensuring that pro-life medical students would not face discrimination because of their views, saying that medical specialities like gynecology and obstetrics should not be “pro-life-free zones.”

The rule stems from a 2017 executive order from President Donald Trump directing his administration to “to vigorously enforce Federal law’s robust protections for religious freedom.”

President Trump announced the new regulations during his remarks from the White House Rose Garden for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday.

“Together, we are building a culture that cherishes the dignity and worth of human life,” the president said, saying that the rules would protect the conscience rights of “physicians, pharmacists, nurses, teachers, students and faith-based charities.”

“Every child born and unborn is a sacred gift from God,” Trump added, to applause from the attendees.

Like other federal regulations, the new conscience rule will go into effect 60 days from its publication in the Federal Register. Fauxcahontas Doubles Down on ‘Racism’ of Doctors, Nurses Caring for Black Women

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is doubling down on the case she made at the She the People Presidential Forum last month that doctors’ and nurses’ “prejudice” makes them treat black women differently than white women when it comes to maternal health treatment.

“We have failed our babies exactly in the way you talk about,” Warren said at the forum, then went on to say that those failures affect all black women regardless of their education or income.

“And the best studies that I’m seeing put it down to just one thing — prejudice,” Warren said. “That doctors and nurses don’t hear African-American women’s medical issues the same way that they hear the same things from white women.”

In an op-ed published earlier this week in Essence magazine, Warren doubled down on her claim, this time naming the “study” conducted by ProPublica, an “investigative journalism” organization funded by leftists, including George Soros. . .

The data shows that black women are three to four times more likely than white women to die from pregnancy or childbirth-related causes. This trend persists even after adjusting for income and education. One major reason? Racism. In a detailed report, ProPublica found that the vast majority of maternal deaths are preventable, but decades of racism and discrimination mean that, too often, doctors and nurses don’t hear Black women’s health issues the same way they hear them from other women.
