New Evidence Shows Transgender Hormones Could Trigger MAJOR Heart Problems

The Western world is engaged in a massive and almost unregulated experiment on children and young adults. As gender dysphoria—the feeling of being trapped in a body of the opposite sex—takes hold and ramps up, physicians such as the notorious Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy are administering medical treatments that can literally ruin young people’s lives. . .

One medical intervention provided by physician allies of the transgender lobby is off-label administration of puberty blockers to children so their bodies won’t experience the normal maturation process. But this treatment has already been exposed for its dangerous side effects and irreversibility. Now the other primary non-surgical intervention—administration of cross-sex hormones (estrogen to gender-dysphoric boys, testosterone to gender-dysphoric girls)—is coming under scientific fire.

In January, researchers from the Netherlands published a study finding that therapy with cross-sex hormones can substantially increase the risks of acute cardiovascular events like heart attacks, strokes, and deep vein thrombosis. The study followed 2,517 men who were transitioning to a female appearance, with a median age of 30 and an average of nine years on hormone therapy, and 1,358 women who were transitioning to a male appearance, with a median age of 23 and an average of eight years on therapy. Their incidences of cardiovascular events were then compared to those of the general population. The numbers were startling.

The transgendering men suffered more than twice as many strokes as women (29 versus 12) and nearly twice as many as non-transitioning men (29 versus 16). They suffered more than five times as many deep vein clots as women (73 versus 13) and 4.5 times as many as non-transitioning men (73 versus 16). They suffered more than twice as many heart attacks as women (30 versus 13).

As for transgendering women, the researchers found no statistical differences with respect to strokes and deep vein clots. But these women suffered almost four times as many heart attacks (11 versus 3) as did non-transitioning women. Democrats Don’t Want to Comment on Accused Sexual Harasser Donor

By The Daily Caller. Democrats declined to say Thursday if they would return contributions from a wealthy donor who recently resigned from the board of an asset management firm amid allegations of sexual misconduct.

Jess Ravich, a former board member of Los Angeles-based TCW Group, has donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic campaigns and committees over the years.

A January 2018 lawsuit against Ravich and TCW alleges that Ravich repeatedly coerced his employee, Sara Tirschwell, into sex in exchange for support of her investment fund. Tirschwell says that when she complained about the behavior, TCW fired her in retaliation.

“[Ravich] repeatedly coerced [Tirschwell] into sex, implicitly threatening that if she rejected his advances, TCW would deprive her of resources and investor access that were essential to her successfully building out the Distressed Fund,” the suit claims. . .

TCW’s Jess Ravich Resigns From Board Amid Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

By Bloomberg. TCW Group’s Jess Ravich has resigned from the Los Angeles-based investment firm’s board after an investigation uncovered “unprofessional communications” between him and Sara Tirschwell, who is suing the money manager for alleged sexual harassment.

TCW, which oversees about $200 billion, replaced Ravich on its board with Penelope Foley, a portfolio manager specializing in emerging markets, the company said in a statement Thursday. Ravich is the head of alternatives at TCW.

Tirschwell, who was dismissed by TCW in December, sued the firm in January for $30 million, alleging she was fired after complaining about sexual harassment and unwanted advances by Ravich. Airline to Allow Passengers to Identify as Non-Binary

United Airlines announced in a Friday press release that it will be the first U.S. airline to allow customers to identify themselves with a non-binary gender.

“United Airlines today announced it has become the first U.S. airline to offer non-binary gender options throughout all booking channels in addition to providing the option to select the title ‘Mx.’ during booking and in a MileagePlus customer profile,” the release began. “Customers now have the ability to identify themselves as M(male), F(female), U(undisclosed) or X(unspecified), corresponding with what is indicated on their passports or identification.” . . .

The statement goes on to explain that United Airlines teamed up with Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and The Trevor Project to compile initiatives by which employees will be trained about “preferred pronouns and the persistence of gender norms, LGBT competency in the workplace and other steps to make United an inclusive space for both customers and employees.”

Though United Airlines did not respond to The Daily Caller’s request for specifics of their training initiatives, HRC’s “Diversity Training on Gender Identity and Gender Expression” website explains that “to ensure compliance with employment policies, all employees should at a minimum have clear guidance regarding appropriate workplace behavior and the consequences of failing to comply with anti-discrimination policies that include gender identity.” (Read more from “Airline to Allow Passengers to Identify as Non-Binary” HERE)

Ocasio-Cortez Joins De Blasio in Call to Punish Asian Students

The battle over the admissions standards at New York City’s elite public high schools has heated up again. After having failed to change the standards last year, Mayor Bill de Blasio is back at it, this time with some backup from celebrity freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. As usual, their impassioned pleas about the lack of black and Hispanic students completely ignores that it is Asian, not white, students who would bear the brunt of the proposed changes.

At issue is the fact that these hyper-competitive high schools consider only a test score in deciding admissions. This meritocracy has created some of the best high schools in the world. They would have you believe that wealthy white parents game the system by hiring expensive tutors, but while they might, it’s not working. In fact, wealthy white kids are not dominating this process at all. . .

Her math is correct, but what she fails to mention is that while Asian students make up only 15 percent of all students in New York, they are a whopping 74 percent of students at Stuyvesant, the school she references. She claims this is inequity and represents a racial wealth gap. But exactly what systems does she believe that New York City has in place that can explain the extraordinary achievements of Asian students? Are Asians getting better schools? More resources? In what way are Asians the beneficiaries of a racial wealth gap? . . .

The biggest problem with Ocasio-Cortez and de Blasio’s position is not that it is unfair to high-achieving Asian students (it is), but that changing the admission process at elite high schools does absolutely nothing to solve the underlying problem. The real problem is that black and Latino kids are not currently achieving in ways we historically know they are capable of.

Changing the rules at Stuyvesant may result in 30 or 40 black students instead of 7, a big increase. Those students may do well, and the mostly Asian students they would displace may also do well in non-elite schools. But so what? This is a Band-Aid on a bullet wound. De Blasio and Ocasio-Cortez will congratulate themselves for diversifying Stuy, but the unfathomable failures we see in educating black and brown kids in New York City will be left unchanged. Parents Refuse to Facilitate ‘Sex Change’ of Autistic Son, so Authorities Threaten to Put Him in Foster Care

By Daily Wire. Parents of a teenage son who has Asperger’s and autism were threatened by authorities to have their child placed in foster care after they refused to help facilitate a so-called “sex change” of the boy.

Recalling the horrifying ordeal to The Daily Mail, the couple, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed an NHS clinic in the U.K. said their then-14-year-old boy should be put on hormone-blockers since he told them he thought he was a girl. The parents, believing their child’s autism played a role in the declaration of gender confusion, refused to cooperate with the “transition,” particularly since the blockers can cause irrevocable harm.

After mom and dad pulled their son from the gender clinic, school officials reported the parents to child services for “emotional abuse” due to their objections to the sex change. One of the teachers, The Daily Mail noted, told the parents “that they should find alternative accommodation for their son or else he would be put into temporary foster care.”

A month later, the couple was visited by local authorities concerning the complaint. Desperate to keep their child out of foster care, they allowed their boy to live with a family friend.

He was also placed on a so-called “child protection plan.” According to CitzensAdvice.org, “A child protection plan is a plan drawn up by the local authority. It sets out how the child can be kept safe, how things can be made better for the family and what support they will need.” Such plans are implemented by local authorities when the “child protection conference” concludes that “the child is suffering, or is likely to suffer, significant harm,” the site notes. Social Services Threaten to Take Autistic Boy Into Care After His Parents Refuse to Let Doctors Give Him Powerful Sex-Change Drugs

She said: ‘I’m absolutely devastated. When I saw the report that social services wrote about us and saw the words “emotional abuse”, I just broke down.

‘All we were doing was trying to get him to pause and think about his actions. My biggest worry as a mum is my child gets pushed down this route, becomes a woman, goes through the surgery, then gets to 25 and says, “I’ve made a mistake.”’

The family’s problems began in 2015 when the boy started struggling to cope with the pressures of secondary school due to his Asperger’s and autism. He started to self-harm and his parents asked his GP to refer him to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

During an appointment with a child psychotherapist, the boy announced he believed he was female. His parents said he had never mentioned such a belief to them previously and suspected that his sudden interest in changing gender may have been another of his autistic obsessions. However, they agreed for him to be referred on to the Leeds branch of the Tavistock Clinic – the only NHS service for under-18s who are confused about their gender. Drag Queen Story Time Cancelled

A drag queen story hour at the Houston library is being canceled, and organizers blame threats from “anti-LGBT” organizations for the decision.

There was, of course, that little issue of one of the “readers” at the story time having been convicted of molesting an 8-year-old, of course.

WND reported on the issue that developed at the Houston Public Library when officials admitted they deeply regretted not doing a background check that would have revealed the background of Alberto Garza, a 32-year-old drag queen who goes by the name Tatiana Mala Nina. . .

But now, “The organizers, Trent Lira and Devin Will, are pulling the plug and according to the Houston Chronicle, the pair wrote a letter to Houstonia magazine claiming that anti-LGBT groups had been threatening library employees and participants.”

The report continued, “Oh, and there was the thing about one of the readers having sexually assaulted an 8-year-old child. Now the library runs background checks on readers to keep out the registered sex offenders.” (Read more from “Drag Queen Story Time Cancelled” HERE)

Court to Concerned Dad: Let Your Kid Transition or You’re a Child Abuser

A father has appealed a recent court decision that blocked him from preventing his young child from transitioning to a male gender presentation.

Last month, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada, ruled that the 14-year-old, who identifies as transgender, can start hormone therapy. The father appealed the decision on March 4. . .

The court, which withheld the family members’ names, explained that the teenager, though biologically female, has lived as a boy since age 11. The child wanted to start testosterone hormone therapy last summer, and the mother and doctors agreed. However, the father opposed the treatment and took the matter to court. . .

According to legal experts, the ruling sets a precedent in family law that transitioning is a health decision to which children have a right. Parents must respect their kid’s chosen gender, pronouns, and name.

Doing otherwise – including misgendering a child or even trying to talk him or her out of transitioning – could get parents reported to authorities for emotional abuse, trans rights lawyer Adrienne Smith told The Star. Disturbing Details Emerge on Bizarre Behavior From Beto O’Rourke

A new profile piece from The Washington Post on Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke documented multiple instances of highly disturbing behavior from the failed Senate candidate, including eating dirt and taking poop from his kid’s diaper and putting it into a bowl and telling his wife that it was an avocado.

The piece specifically focused on Beto’s marriage to his wife Amy, who indicated that she was not exactly thrilled to be in a marriage that was so heavily involved in politics.

Buried deep in the article was a paragraph that documented his “‘Psycho’-style scares in the shower,” and another bizarre incident from their marriage. The Post reports:

One time, according to a friend, Beto collected an especially verdant turd from one of their kids’ diapers and put it in a bowl, telling Amy it was avocado. (Neither would confirm this, though Beto did allow it sounded like something he’d do.)

California Con Man Set up Bogus Websites for Bernie Sanders, Beto O’Rourke to Defraud Donors

By NBC News. A notorious California con man has been charged with defrauding donors out of more than $250,000 sent to sham political groups and websites for Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders and other prominent Democrats, prosecutors said Tuesday.

John Pierre Dupont, 80, is accused of setting up at least three bogus political action committees, or PACs, and several websites that purported to be raising money for roughly 10 individual Senate candidates, a candidate for governor and for progressive causes, according to a criminal complaint.

Instead of passing along the cash to the candidates or campaigns, Dupont used it to pay his rent, a parking ticket, and to cover the costs of a $25,300 Mercedes-Benz sedan, according to prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.

“As alleged, John Pierre Dupont operated multiple fake political action committees and falsely claimed to be raising money to support more than a dozen campaigns,” said U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman. U.S. Governor Introduces Bill to Let Non-Doctors Commit Abortions

The ability to commit abortions should be expanded from actual doctors to physician assistants and some types of nurses, according to a proposal introduced Thursday by Maine Gov. Janet Mills.

“Every woman in Maine should be able to access reproductive health care when and where she needs it, regardless of her ZIP code,” Mills declared, according to a WMTW report. “Allowing advanced nurse practitioners and physician assistants to perform medication-administered abortions, which are already permitted in other states, will ensure Maine women, especially in rural areas of our state, can access reproductive health care services.”

Democrat state House Speaker Sarah Gideon, who is sponsoring the bill, agreed, claiming that women in rural parts of the state “have been disproportionately harmed, where the sheer logistics of arranging for travel, taking time off work and securing child care create an often insurmountable barrier to accessing the full range of family planning services.”

Mills pushed for a similar measure last year as state Attorney General, and pro-abortion organizations like Planned Parenthood and the ACLU have tried to force the state to allow nurse practitioners and licensed midwives to commit abortions since at least 2017.
