Survey: 66% of ‘Pro-Abortion’ Americans Oppose Third-Trimester Abortions

According to a YouGov/Americans United for Life joint survey conducted last week, even 66% of those who consider themselves “pro-choice” oppose third-trimester abortions. YouGov is a popular non-partisan polling firm, and Americans United for Life describes itself as America’s first pro-life organization. YouGov and Americans United for Life surveyed 1,145 American adults, overall. . .

The survey provides ammunition for those who have criticized the recent spate of late-term abortion legislation across numerous state legislatures as extreme and out of touch with most Americans — including even most self-described “pro-choice”-ers.

​Americans United for Life President and CEO Catherine Glenn Foster issued this statement, in response to the survey:

“This survey vividly reveals both the American people’s common-sense appreciation for the sanctity of life and the widespread horror, even among self-identified pro-choice Americans, of new laws like New York’s that effectively allow abortion up until the moment of delivery. Planned Parenthood and elected officials like Governor [Andrew] Cuomo who support abortions up to the point of birth are out of step with not only their supposed core constituents, but also our country’s essential tenets of life, liberty, and the opportunity to pursue happiness. It is our hope that the critical information brought to light here will advance the democratic process by inspiring more Americans to hold their representatives and public institutions to account.”

So-Called Protector of the First Amendment Gets a T-Shirt Banned Because It’s ‘Offensive’ to Journalists

After all, to them conservative media doesn’t count and they believe anything critical of journalists who let their leftist bias get in the way of the facts should be condemned. . .

But the t-shirt is no longer being available at the retail giant. Why? A journalist demanded it be taken off the shelves.

HORRIFIC: Planned Parenthood and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease Are ‘Humanizing’ Mice

On Monday’s “Pat Gray Unleashed,” Pat Gray and Keith Malinak discussed the controversy surrounding the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, a federally funded program on a mission to “humanize” mice in a horrific way.

In this clip, Pat cited a story published by WND on Sunday that detailed the process of procuring aborted baby fetuses — in some cases without the consent of the mother — in order to use them for experimentation that requires grafting aborted baby parts to lab mice. . .

Scientists use lab mice with intentionally compromised immune systems, and once the fetal tissue is attached, the mouse develops a “humanized” immune system ready for drug testing.

Clinics provide aborted fetal parts to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, which puts Planned Parenthood in the hot seat again, the practice of selling unborn baby body parts, sometimes without the consent of the mother. . .

Planned Parenthood denied the O’Keefe’s findings, calling the released video “selectively” edited. The mainstream media sided with Planned Parenthood and dismissed O’Keefe’s investigation entirely. Subsequently, the media rejected most of the investigations that O’Keefe released following the Planned Parenthood sting. School Hires Combat Vets With Semiautomatic Rifles to Protect Students From Active Shooters

A school in Florida is taking school safety so seriously that it has hired two combat veterans armed with semiautomatic rifles to patrol and guard the campus against potential threats, according to The New York Times.

Manatee School for the Arts in Palmetto, Florida, hired the school guardians to comply with state legislation requiring schools to have at least one “safe-school” officer. Principal Bill Jones said they have good reason to go above and beyond the minimum requirements.

“We’re not looking for a fair fight,” Jones said of potential active shooter situations. “We’re looking at an overwhelming advantage.”

One of the guards has 15 years of infantry experience, and the second veteran guardian will start working later in February. Jones wanted combat veterans who can be trusted to react quickly and correctly under fire. . .

Mom Carries Dying Baby to Term Despite Prognosis. What She Did Next Blessed Countless Lives.

By The Blaze. Krysta Davis was four months pregnant when she received the heart-shattering news: Her baby had a rare disorder and was expected to live only minutes after she was born. . .

Doctors gave Davis and her boyfriend, Dereck Lovett, just two options. They could induce labor immediately or have the baby and donate her organs. Davis and Lovett decided on the latter.

“We decided that even if we couldn’t bring our daughter home, no mother would have to go through what we were going to go through,” Davis, of Cleveland, Tennessee, told People magazine.

Their daughter, Rylei, was expected to live about 30 minutes after birth. Instead, she survived one week. . .

Most babies with Rylei’s condition don’t survive childbirth, said Dr. Kyle Gonzales, a maternal fetal medicine doctor at Erlanger Hospital, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where Rylei was born. The hospital sees babies with Anencephaly about once every year, and none of them survive, Gonzales told the TV station.

By News Channel 9. A Cleveland family is turning their worst day into hope for other families. Rylei Arcadia Lovett was born at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga on Christmas Eve. . .

Doctors told them if carried to full-term, they could donate her organs to save other children. Davis and Lovett looked at each other and knew that’s what they were going to do.

“If I wasn’t able to bring my baby home, at least others could bring theirs home.”

Rylei took her last breath New Year’s Eve night, one week after she entered the world. She beat her own odds of survival. . .

Man Charged With Killing Pregnant Woman Won’t Be Charged With Abortion Due to New York’s New Law

New York’s new law allowing late-term abortion has resulted in the dropping of abortion charges against a man arrested for murdering his pregnant girlfriend.

Jennifer Irigoyen was a 35-year-old real estate broker, a classical pianist, a professional Latin ballroom dancer, a certified Spinning instructor, and a licensed Zumba instructor. She was the mother of a 12-year-old boy from a previous relationship and five months pregnant at the time of her death.

This amazing woman’s life — and the life of her unborn child — was cut short after they were both stabbed to death in her Queens apartment building, according to Gothamist. Surveillance video from the apartment building showed Irigoyen being murdered, according to the superintendent, who told the New York Post that the woman screamed, “He’s got a knife! He’s going to kill the baby!”

Irigoyen’s boyfriend, 48-year-old Anthony Hobson, turned himself in to the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood, New York, and was arrested for the murder. He was initially charged “with murder, tampering with physical evidence, abortion, and criminal possession of a weapon,” according to Gothamist, but the “abortion” charge was later dropped.

The Post reports that the abortion charge was dropped because of a new state law that allows abortion up to the minute of birth. Even though Irigoyen wanted her baby, it was not considered a life under the new law. Former Abortion Doctor Counters Progressive Narrative: ‘You Never Need Late-Term Abortion to Save a Woman’s Life’

However, these results are misleading. Gallup’s question implies that there are certain circumstances during the third trimester of pregnancy in which an abortion could save a woman’s life. Such a question suggests that termination is sometimes the only solution to certain late-term medical scenarios. . .

During an interview with Live Action founder Lila Rose, former abortion doctor Anthony Levatino stated that late-term abortions are never medically necessary:

We hear all the time how abortion, including especially late-term abortion, is necessary to save women’s lives. Nothing could be further from the truth. I spent nine years working at a tertiary medical center. There are only certain hospitals in the country that are designated to take care of the really, really high-risk pregnancies …

Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, where I worked, was one of them. I was faculty at the hospital for nine years, and I saw hundreds of cases of really severe pregnancy complications – cancers, heart disease, intractable diabetes … toxemia pregnancy, out of control. In those nine years, I saved hundreds of women from life-threatening pregnancies, and I did that by delivering them, by ending their pregnancy by delivery – either induction of labor or cesarean section…

I always tell people, in all of those years, the number of babies that I had to, that I was obligated to deliberately kill in the process was zero, none.

Rep. Omar Leaves out Some Key Details When Complaining About the Pay Gap at McDonald’s

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) cited a claim about the pay gap between the CEO of McDonald’s, Steve Easterbrook, and the company’s median employee Thursday but left out some key details.

At a hearing calling for increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour, Rep. Omar questioned Missouri McDonald’s shift manager Terrence Wise who shared that he made $11 an hour with the company.

“So the median pay for a McDonald’s worker was $7,000 in 2017,” Rep. Omar said, “and that is the pay gap between the CEO that’s making $21.8 [million] to the $7,000 that a worker who has put in 40 hours a day[sic] gets paid. To me, that just morally does not sit well.” . . .

However, the part that Omar failed to mention is that “McDonald’s defines a median employee as a part-time hourly restaurant crew member in Poland, where wages are lower than in the U.S. and it didn’t use any of the exclusions allowed.” (Read more from “Rep. Implants Increasingly Linked to Lymphoma in Women – 9 Reported Deaths

On Wednesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Dr. Binita Ashar released a statement on the danger of women getting cancer after having breast implants. As CNN reported, “At least 457 women in the United States have so far been diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymphoma. … Of those, nine have died as a result of the rare cancer, which affects cells in the immune system and can be found around the breast implant.” Anaplastic large cell lymphoma is a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons has written: “BIA-ALCL usually develops as a delayed swelling of the breast (Average 8 years, range 2 to 28 years) after the insertion of textured breast implants, which may present as fluid collecting around the implant or marked breast asymmetry. It can also present as a lump in the breast or armpit.”

The FDA statement said, “We recognize the limitations of medical device reports, which is why we review other sources of information, including medical literature and the Patient Registry and Outcomes for Breast Implants and Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma Etiology and Epidemiology. PROFILE collects real world data regarding patients who have a confirmed diagnosis of BIA-ALCL. YES, SHE ACTUALLY SAID IT: Abortion Champion Pelosi Worried About ‘Generations to Come’

On Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, championing the Democratic Party’s efforts to address climate change, tweeted a message which was staggering in its hypocrisy, blathering, “We have a moral responsibility to protect God’s creation for generations to come. That is why today, we named members to the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. #ActOnClimate.”

So Pelosi feels that “we have a moral responsibility to protect God’s creation for generations to come?” Just which generations is she talking about? Surely it can’t be the generations yet to come who will be snuffed out by her own party’s embrace of aborting them. What is Pelosi’s position an abortion?

For over forty years, the Supreme Court has consistently ruled that a woman’s health decisions must be her own, in consultation with her family, her physician, and her faith. I am pleased the Supreme Court will be hearing the challenge to Texas politicians’ appalling attempt to deny women their constitutional right to make their own reproductive health decisions.
