LGBT Agenda Challenged by Christian Law Firm

A radical change is taking place in America’s beloved, century-old 4-H youth organization – one that promises to create a schism as deep and damaging as the one endured by another beloved, century-old youth organization, the Boy Scouts, which many have recently declared “dead.” . . .

McAlister is referring to a largely unpublicized, multi-pronged, state-by-state movement to impose highly controversial transgender policies – including the admission of biological males into female restrooms, locker rooms and showers and mandatory use of exotic transgender pronouns – on the nation’s 4-H rural youth organizations.

After WND’s exclusive reporting on this below-the-radar movement – first in Idaho, and then more recently in Iowa – the public interest law firm Liberty Counsel sent a strongly worded 2,600-word letter demanding, on multiple legal grounds, the Iowa State University Extension Service administering the state’s 4-H program immediately cease its planned imminent adoption of the radical LGBTQ agenda. . .

Although 4-H is administered by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, or NIFA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, it is overseen and guided by “a network of 100 public universities,” specifically their extension services. These universities in turn comprise the source of a coordinated and, until recently, quiet push to impose on 4-H highly controversial LGBTQ policies.

Although Iowa’s policy document spelling everything out, titled “Inclusion Policy: LGBT Youth and Volunteers,” was posted on the “Policy and Guidance” section of the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach website, after WND’s coverage and Liberty Counsel’s subsequent entry into the controversy, the LGBT “Inclusion Policy” document was mysteriously taken down. WND reached out to John-Paul Chaisson-Cárdenas, Iowa’s 4-H youth development program leader at Iowa State University and the lead recipient of Liberty Counsel’s letter, asking why the document was no longer available to the public, but no response has been received as of publication. American Fertility Rates Fall Well Below Replacement Rate

By IF Studies. The United States just hit a 40-year low in its fertility rate, according to numbers just released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The 2017 provisional estimate of fertility for the entire U.S. indicates about 3.85 million births in 2017 and a total fertility rate of about 1.76 births per women. These are low numbers: births were as high as 4.31 million in 2007, and the total fertility rate was 2.08 kids back then. The United States has experienced a remarkable slump in fertility over the last several years, as I’ve explained elsewhere.

Since 2007, fertility has fallen the most for the youngest women, but in the last year, declines have set in for women in their 30s as well. Fertility declines increasingly seem to be about much more than just postponed fertility, or else these women must be planning to have some very fertile 40s.

At least through 2016, this trend appeared to be mostly driven by changes in marital status. Births to never-married women are down more than births to ever-married women: age-adjusted marital fertility is down 14% since 2007, while age-adjusted never-married fertility is down 21%, as of 2016. Preliminary data from several states suggest these trends are likely to continue in 2017. . .

That’s because the decline in fertility has been far greater among minorities than among non-Hispanic whites. If we take age-specific birth rates from the peak-fertility year of 2007 and apply them to each age cohort in 2008-2016, the most recent complete data, we can create a counterfactual scenario of how many babies would have been born if age-adjusted fertility rates had not fallen after 2007. From 2008 to 2016, the deficit turns out to be between 4.1 and 4.6 million missing babies: basically, an entire year’s worth or more of childbearing vanished. Amazon Caves to Democrats’ Racial Diversity Demands

After facing public backlash for initially defending its “complex” meritocratic system, Amazon said on Monday it’s implementing a racial diversity rule a left-wing, billion-dollar “activist” investment group pushed on the tech giant.

“The Amazon Board of Directors has adopted a policy that the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee include a slate of diverse candidates, including women and minorities, for all director openings,” Amazon said in its Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing.

Amazon is now applying the “Rooney Rule” to its board of directors hiring process. It first required NFL teams to interview at least one racial minority for head coach and senior football operation positions but is now applied in other industries. . .

CtW Investment Group was described as “an activist shareholder group” by Stefanie Johnsonan, an associate professor at the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, in the Harvard Business Review. . . .

Also in CtW’s “About Us” section is a disclaimer it “does not exercise or seek to exercise any discretionary authority or discretionary control regarding management of any plan, disposition of any plan assets, proxy voting decisions, appointment of plan trustees, or any other aspect of plan management or administration.” (Read more from “Amazon Caves to Democrats’ Racial Diversity Demands” HERE)

Report Finds Cases of STDs Reach All-Time High in California

The number of cases of sexually transmitted diseases in California reached a record high last year and officials are particularly concerned by a spike in stillbirths due to congenital syphilis, state health authorities said Monday.

More than 300,000 cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis were reported in 2017, a 45 percent increase from five years ago, according to data released by the California Department of Public Health.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea are most common among people under 30, the report said. Rates of chlamydia are highest among young women, while men account for the majority of syphilis and gonorrhea cases . . .

The figure that caused the greatest alarm for researchers and administrators was 30 stillbirths resulting from congenital syphilis statewide — the highest number reported since 1995, the CDPH said. Los Angeles County alone saw congenital syphilis cases jump from eight in 2013 to 47 last year.

“For California to have a steady increase in congenital syphilis is shameful,” said Dr. Jeffrey Klausner, a professor of medicine at University of California, Los Angeles. He pointed to nations such as Cuba, Thailand and Belarus that have nearly eliminated the life-threatening infection seen in infants. Muslim Family Rapes, Kills Christian Teen ‘Slave’

By WND. A 17-year-old Christian girl in Pakistan was raped and strangled to death by members of a Muslim family because she didn’t carry out her assigned household chores to their satisfaction, according to a Pakistan-based group.

Citing a report Tuesday by the the private charity Christians in Pakistan, the Christian Post said the murder of Kainat Salamat, daughter of Salamat Masih, occurred last week in Kamonki, Gujranwala district.

The Christian family had given up their daughter to the Muslim family as an indentured servant because of their poverty, a common practice in Pakistan. . .

The Christian Post said the Muslim family tied a rope around the girl’s neck and strangled her despite her father’s pleas.

BPCA has launched a petition drive against domestic servitude of Christian girls in Pakistan, pointing to widespread abuse and in some cases death. (Read more from “Family Rapes, Kill Christian Teen Slave” HERE)

Christian Teen Raped, Tied down and Murdered in Front of Father by Pakistani Muslim Family

By Christian Post. A 17-year-old Christian girl was murdered in Pakistan after being tied down and strangled to death by a Muslim family before her father’s own eyes, reportedly because she didn’t do the household chores to their satisfaction.

Christians in Pakistan reported on Tuesday that the murder of Kainat Salamat, daughter of Salamat Masih, occurred last week in Kamonki, Gujranwala district.

Masih filed a First Information Report to report the crime on May 6, explaining to police that he arrived to visit his daughter at the home of Muhammad Asif, where she had worked as a domestic helper since age 11.

The father says that he and another relative saw that the Muslim family, Asif, Muhammad Kashif, Muhammad Tariq Pasran, Muhammad Ismael, along with Asif’s wife and another woman, were holding down Kainat’s legs and arms . . .

The father adds in the report that his daughter, who was buried on Monday, was killed for failing to do the house cleaning properly. (Read more from “Christian Teen Raped, Tied down and Murdered in Front of Father by Pakistani Muslim Family” HERE)

Horrified Moviegoers in Cannes Walk out of ‘Vomitive,’ ‘Torturous’ Serial Killer Film

. . .This is a Lars Von Trier movie, and anything goes with this “artist,” who’s put out such wonderful films as “Antichrist” and “Nymphomaniac.”

His new movie “The House That Jack Built,” starring Matt Dillon and Uma Thurman, drew mass walkouts on Monday night when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival . . .

The Danish director said the new movie is his most violent film to date — and he’s proud of that. Movie review site Rotten Tomatoes summed up the plot this way: “Lars von Trier’s upcoming drama follows the highly intelligent Jack (Matt Dillon) over a span of 12 years and introduces the murders that define Jack’s development as a serial killer. We experience the story from Jack’s point of view, while he postulates each murder is an artwork in itself. As the inevitable police intervention is drawing nearer, he is taking greater and greater risks in his attempt to create the ultimate artwork.”

Why One-Third of American Working-Age Men Could Be Displaced by Robots

One third of able-bodied American men between 25 and 54 could be out of job by 2050, contends the author of “The Future of Work: Robots, AI and Automation.”

“We’re already at 12% of prime-aged men without jobs,” said Darrell West, vice president of the Brookings Institution think tank, at a forum in Washington, D.C. on Monday. That number has grown steadily over the past 60 years, but it could triple in the next 30 years because of new technology such as artificial intelligence and automation. . .

Molly Kinder, senior adviser at progressive think tank New America, said the current state of manufacturing tells a story that will be seen see across many occupations. Jobs that don’t require advanced education will be replaced by automation, displacing low-wage, low-skilled workers. . .

Many are already hurt by the technology shift. Some 6% of all adults say they lost a job or had their pay or hours reduced because of automation, according to a Pew Research study published in October. And 65% of adults believe most stores will be fully automated in 20 years and require little human interaction.

West’s new book focused a lot of his attention on use of robotics in the service industry. In the book he quotes Andrew Puzder, former CEO of Hardee’s parent company CKE, as saying that digital devices are “always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there’s never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex or race discrimination case.” (Read more from “Why One-Third of American Working-Age Men Could Be Displaced by Robots” HERE)

Police Returned a Missing Boy to His Parents’ Home – Then Arrested Them When They Looked Inside

Police say that they returned a boy to his California home after he was reported missing, but then arrested the parents when they discovered the conditions he was living in . . .

30-year-old Ina Rogers called the police in March after she discovered that her 12-year-old son was missing. She and 29-year-old Jonathan Allen, live in the city of Fairfield, just north of San Francisco.

After police found the child and returned them to his parents’ home, they discovered that the couple were forcing their ten children to live in horrible conditions.

Ina Rogers was arrested and charged with neglect, while Jonathan Allen was arrested and charged with nine counts of felony torture and six counts of child abuse . . .

“The children described incidents of intentional abuse resulting in puncture wounds, burns, bruising, and injuries consistent with being shot with a pellet gun or BB gun,” said Lieutenant Greg Hurlbut of the Fairfield Police.

Porn Star Makes Damaging Allegations Against Stormy Daniels

By Daily Wire. On Monday, a newly-released report from The Daily Beast outlined damaging allegations made by porn star Tasha Reign, who claims that Stormy Daniels did nothing when Reign was sexually assaulted by one of Daniels’ crew members.

The context of the interview was in relation to an interview Daniels gave in April on ABC’s “The View.” The Daily Beast reports:

During the interview, Daniels claimed that, shortly after she first told her story to In Touch magazine back in 2011, a man approached her in a Las Vegas parking lot and threatened her life, urging her to “leave Trump alone” and “forget the story.” The duo then released a composite sketch of the purported parking-lot assailant, with Daniels explaining that she didn’t go to the authorities seven years ago because she both feared for her safety and, as a newly-minted mother, didn’t want her husband at the time to learn about the supposed Trump tryst. She did, however, concede that, “I always feel like you should stand up for yourself and you should report it.”

Tasha Reign: I Was Assaulted on a Stormy Daniels Porn Set. and She Did Nothing.

By The Daily Beast. On the other side of the country in sunny Los Angeles, Tasha Reign was tuning in to Daniels’ sit-down and couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“It’s very upsetting to see her speak like that and then I think, but I know the real you,” says Reign. “I was there. I saw what you did.” . . .

“It’s tricky…” she says, her voice cracking with emotion, “because I don’t even like Stormy. I don’t like her at all.”

Reign says she has a “horrible story” to tell me about herself and Daniels.

“I was sexually assaulted by one of her crewmembers. He groped and grabbed me from behind,” she says, wiping away tears. “I spoke up immediately because I was in the moment, and I was so proud of myself. She was the director that day, I went straight to her and straight to the man that did it, we had a conversation about it, I went to the owner of Wicked Pictures, I did all the right things. And she did not handle the situation appropriately, respectfully, or professionally. So it’s a little bit outrageous when I hear her say things about how she is standing up for women and wants to be a voice for other women to be able to come forward when I was assaulted on her set and she didn’t give me any care or attention, and didn’t even send that man home.” (Read more from “Tasha Reign: I Was Assaulted on a Stormy Daniels Porn Set. and She Did Nothing.” HERE)

Armed Man Charges at Mothers with Kids Until One Mom Whips out Her Concealed Gun and Fires Away

This is the moment a gunman’s attempted robbery on young children and families waiting outside a school in Sao Paulo was foiled by a mother who turned out to be an off-duty armed policewoman.

Security cameras outside the private school in Sao Paulo caught the dramatic moment on Saturday morning around 8am.

Military police officer Katia da Silva Sastre, 42, rounded on the gunman, identified as Elivelton Neves Moreira, 21, and surprised him by whipping out her weapon and firing three times.

Officer Sastre is being hailed a hero for her act of bravery and was honored in a ceremony by Sao Paulo Governor Márcio França on Sunday. . .

Writing on Twitter Governor França said: ‘I went earlier to the 4th BAEP in the east of Sao Paulo to honor a very special mother: Corporal Katia Sastre. Her courage and precision saved mothers and children, yesterday at the door of a school’.
