Florida Woman Tried to Set off Explosive During Traffic Stop

Authorities in Jacksonville say a woman was arrested Tuesday night after she tried to ignite an explosive device during a traffic stop.

Charlaya Moore, 23, was being held in the Duval County jail on charges of possession of a destructive device, aggravated assault on police and resisting police with violence.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Moore was pulled over at around 11:15 p.m. in the Grove Park area of the city. They said Moore refused multiple requests to get out of the car and began reaching under her seat. As one of the officers tried to pull Moore out of the car, she produced out the explosive device and attempted to ignite it. Another police officer got in the passenger’s side of the vehicle and took the device away from Moore. (Read more from “Florida Woman Tried to Set off Explosive During Traffic Stop” HERE)

Biggest Name in News Caught in Fake News ‘Sex’ Blunder

In the world of the politically correct, where Associated Press news-style gurus say a man who calls himself a woman is a woman and woman who calls herself a man is a man, it’s easy to see how mistakes could happen.

As AP found this week when it had to delete a tweet promoting a gender story because it misgendered a transgender.

“We’ve deleted a Wednesday tweet about two transgender city council members elected in Minneapolis because it misidentified one of them as a woman. A replacement tweet is upcoming,” the wire service said.

So was a man mistakenly identified as a woman?

Or a woman who thinks she’s a man “misidentified” as a woman? (Read more from “Biggest Name in News Caught in Fake News ‘Sex’ Blunder” HERE)

Melania Responds to Alec Baldwin’s Claim She ‘Loves’ Insulting Trump Impression

Actor Alec Baldwin said this week that first lady Melania Trump “loves” his impression of her husband, President Donald Trump, but the first lady publicly denied his claim.

Baldwin, who has portrayed Trump on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” regularly over the past year, told WNBC‘s Brian Lehrer Monday that he heard from a reliable source about a surprising fan of his.

“Here’s a scoop I have for you,” Baldwin told Lehrer.

Baldwin reportedly said a person “who is friends with someone in the White House or formerly in the White House” told him that Melania Trump “loves” his take on the president.

The caricature is an accurate reflection of what Trump is like behind closed doors, Baldwin claimed.

He said Melania Trump “told this person very high up in the White House brass there that that’s exactly what he’s like.”

Baldwin went on to claim her opinion of his impression has caused strife within the first family.

“Apparently Trump is horrified and beside himself that his wife actually thinks it’s funny,” he said.

However, in an email to Newsweek, Melania Trump’s communications director questioned the accuracy of Baldwin’s claim.

“That is not true, which is why Mr. Baldwin has no actual names to go with his bizarre assertion,” Stephanie Grisham wrote.

As for the commander in chief, it has been clear on multiple occasions that he is not impressed with his “SNL” sendup.

Late last year, shortly after Baldwin began depicting Trump on the program, the president offered his take on the parody.

During Monday’s interview, Lehrer mentioned rumors that a January broadcast in which former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is portrayed as the real president was responsible for expediting Bannon’s ouster.

Baldwin suggested the reaction could allow the late-night parodies to have a real impact within the West Wing.

“So whoever we want to get rid of, we need to elevate them above Trump,” he said. “That’s a wonderful thing.” (For more from the author of “Melania Responds to Alec Baldwin’s Claim She ‘Loves’ Insulting Trump Impression” please click HERE)

Nutrition Teacher, 40, Accused of ‘Brazen’ Sex Advances to Teen Boy Student, Including Nude Photos, Lewd Love Letters

A former nutrition teacher in Maryland has been indicted on charges of sexual abuse of a minor.

LaToya Nicole Parker, 40, allegedly abused a 17-year-old male student from St. Charles High School between January and May of this year, according to The Bay Net.

Parker is accused of “brazen” actions in an attempt to lure the student. The teacher would allegedly remove the teenaged student from the classroom and buy him meals at restaurants.

She also allegedly wrote “love notes to him” that began innocently, but later turned lewd as she would request sexual acts. Parker allegedly showed the student photos of herself, both of her naked and performing sex acts, The Bay Net reported.

An investigation into Parker’s actions began in May after adults — who heard about what was going on from students whom the 17-year-old victim confided in – reported the alleged activities to authorities. Another Bombshell Dropped About the Texas Church Killer

Two women have come forward to accuse Texas church massacre gunman Devin Patrick Kelley of sexually abusing or harassing them over several years, while authorities said they were re-examining a sexual assault investigation of Kelley from four years earlier.

Records released by the Comal County sheriff’s office include a June 2013 report of an alleged sexual assault that lists Kelley as the suspect.

According to the report, deputies were sent around midnight on June 17, 2013, to Kelly’s family home in New Braunfels.

Sheriff Mark Reynolds told The Associated Press that deputies apparently investigated the case for a further three months after, but stopped investigating after they believed Kelley had left Texas and moved to Colorado.

The local district attorney said the case was never presented to her. (Read more from “Another Bombshell Dropped About the Texas Church Killer” HERE)

Man Fesses up to Tagging Own Car With ‘Racist Graffiti’

The Riley County Police Department says during the course of their investigation into a car tagged with racial slurs, the owner of the vehicle admitted he was responsible for the graffiti.

Police say “this admission led to a series of conversations between Riley County Police Department Director Brad Schoen and Riley County Attorney Barry Wilkerson. Director Schoen and County Attorney Wilkerson concluded that despite having filed a false report, the filing of criminal charges against (the car’s owner) for having done so would not be in the best interests of the citizens who comprise the Manhattan community.”

For his part, the Riley County Police Department says, the car’s owner “was genuinely remorseful and expressed sincere regret that his actions had resulted in the negative media attention.”

“I would like to deeply apologize to the community,” the car’s owner says. “The whole situation got out of hand when it shouldn’t have even started. It was just a Halloween prank that got out of hand. I wish I could go back to that night, but I can’t. I just want to apologize from the bottom of my heart for the pain and news I have brought you all.” (Read more from “Man Fesses up to Tagging Own Car With ‘Racist Graffiti'” HERE)

Journalist Accuses Jesse Jackson of Sexual Harassment

Civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson has been accused of sexual harassment by a journalist who says the Chicago community leader grabbed her thigh while making a crude comment.

Writer Danielle Young, in an article for “The Root,” accused Jackson of making the “unwanted” advance and comment during a photo-op after a media event.

“I walked toward Jackson, smiling, and he smiled back at me,” Young wrote. “His eyes scanned my entire body. All of a sudden, I felt naked in my sweater and jeans. As I walked within arm’s reach of him, Jackson reached out a hand and grabbed my thigh, saying, ‘I like all of that right there!’ and gave my thigh a tight squeeze.”

The post included several photos of the encounter in which Young writes “don’t let the smile fool you. I’m cringing on the inside.”

The accusations against Jackson are the latest in a storm of sexual harassment allegations engulfing the entertainment, news and political worlds. (Read more from “Journalist Accuses Jesse Jackson of Sexual Harassment” HERE)

Schools Installing Cameras in High School Bathrooms; Parents Outraged Over Disgusting Privacy Violation

Windsor Charter Academy in Colorado is under fire by parents of students for its decision to install cameras in its high school bathrooms, KDVR Fox reported.

Windsor Charter Academy executive director Rebecca Teeples stated that the installation of cameras “improves safety for students while helping secure the building.”

The stalls in the bathroom go from the floor to the ceiling but many worry that it’s still a violation of privacy to put a camera into a bathroom.

“We had surveillance cameras in our plans from the very start. It was part of the design of the new wing,” Teeples said. “We want to make sure our students are safe and secure.”

Parents are up in arms about the decision which they say violates students’ rights to privacy – “The first word that comes to mind is disgusting,” Trevor Garrett said. “I never thought it would be on anyone’s mind to put cameras in bathrooms anywhere.”

Garrett added that he also worries about students who might get changed in the restrooms for after-school activities or other circumstances where students might be exposed outside of the stalls.

“My gut reaction is, I’m a father, I want to protect my children and I’m going to protect any kids in here,” Garrett said. “I think when we sacrifice privacy for the sake of safety, it’s a very slippery slope.”

“At what point does it cross that threshold and violate rights? I think in this situation this violates rights,” Garrett added.

Garrett’s daughter echoed his statement, saying, “It makes me really uncomfortable going in there.”

Teeples further added that only school administration and the IT team will have access to the footage. As if that makes it any better that anyone will have access to viewing footage of teenagers in a bathroom. What’s more is that Teeples claims that this measure will help “improve safety of students,” when any of these listed school officials can review tapes of these teens in the bathroom.

What’s scary is that this isn’t the first case of such an outrageous privacy invasion; and what’s even crazier is that this was proposed in the very same week on the other side of the pond in the UK as well.

A secondary school at Summerhill school, Kingswinford, West Midlands UK is rethinking a decision to install CCTV cameras after students complained they are scared to go to the bathroom. Although, in this case the cameras are quite literally on the urinals in the boys’ bathroom. Whoever had this idea and thought it was okay should be investigated.

One mother told the Birmingham Mail:

My children have refused to go to the toilet in school; they feel like they are being watched. They said, ‘Can we ring you to take us home to use the toilet?’

Some are saying it’s to prevent bullying, and there’s been vandalism, but surely they can put a prefect on duty in the toilets at break times or a teacher, they don’t have to video children in toilets. A lot of parents are now requesting the footage.

Another mother said:

My son has come back and said he doesn’t want to go to the toilet. It’s shocking, they may have problems going on in the toilets but they can’t do this, surely.

A friend of mine said her daughter came home in tears because she was too scared to use the loo all day and she nearly wet herself in class. It’s so intrusive and creepy.

Five years ago, research by the campaign group Big Brother Watch found that more than 200 schools across Britain used CCTV cameras in students bathrooms or changing rooms, raising the concern about the privacy of schoolchildren, The Guardian reported.

The school officials all argue the cameras are to combat bullying and vandalism, but as Benjamin Franklin said those who give up liberty for security deserve neither.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. — Benjamin Franklin.

Public school is becoming more and more like a prison in the U.S. and UK; prisoners have a camera on them in the bathroom, not students going to a school of “higher learning” to get an education. This is just more indoctrination to accept the nanny state. Ali Michael, a Texas-based model, has found herself in a social media firestorm after making a comment some deemed inappropriate on Instagram about 14-year-old “Stranger Things” actor Finn Wolfhard.

The 27-year-old model shared a picture of Wolfhard and wrote, “Not to be weird but hit me up in 4 years @finnwolfhardofficial.”

The image, which was posted in Michael’s Instagram story, has since disappeared from her feed.

The social media universe was quick to question the comment about the child star.

On Twitter one person wrote, “joking [about] children hitting puberty and sexualizing them as a way to invoke a funny rhetoric is (sick emojis).”
