New Harvey Weinstein Sexual Assault Accusations Emerge

By Fox News. New allegations from at least two actresses came out Friday alleging sexual assault by Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

In a story by the New Yorker, actress Annabella Sciorra claims that Weinstein “violently raped” her, and actress Daryl Hannah says her career suffered after encounters with Weinstein . . .

Hannah said that when she first met Weinstein, she didn’t know about his reputation. So when he asked her hotel room number to schedule a meeting, she didn’t think much of it.

Later she heard “incessant” knocking on her hotel room door. She said she got so scared she eventually snuck out the back . . .

Several years later, Hannah allegedly encountered Weinstein again when he somehow got a key to her hotel room and let himself in. (Read more from “New Harvey Weinstein Sexual Assault Accusations Emerge” HERE)

Actress Annabella Sciorra Says Harvey Weinstein Raped Her in Her Apartment in the ’90s

By Ginger Adam Otis. For more than 20 years, actress Annabella Sciorra says she has kept a horrific secret: Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein raped her in the 1990s, and sexually harassed her for years later . . .

“It wasn’t that late … like it wasn’t the middle of the night, so I opened the door a crack to see who it was. And he pushed the door open,” she told The New Yorker.

Weinstein “walked in like it was his apartment, like he owned the place, and started unbuttoning his shirt. So it was very clear where he thought this was going to go. And I was in a nightgown. I didn’t have much on,” the actress said.

“He shoved me onto the bed, and he got on top of me. I kicked and I yelled,” she said in the interview.

But Weinstein, now 65, held her down, with her hands over her head, she told The New Yorker. She fought him – wearing a white cotton nightgown that was a family heirloom from Italy. (Read more from “Actress Annabella Sciorra Says Harvey Weinstein Raped Her in Her Apartment in the ’90s” HERE)

Woman Missing Since 1975 Found Alive in Nursing Home

The 42-year-old mystery of a New York woman who vanished after being dropped off for a doctor’s appointment came to a happy ending this week when detectives located her at a Massachusetts assisted living facility.

Flora Stevens, 78, was using the name Flora Harris when detectives tracked her down at the facility in Lowell, 23 miles northwest of Boston. Medical records showed Stevens had previously lived in nursing homes in New Hampshire and New York City, but officials say they’ve been unable to figure out details of her life since her disappearance . . .

Police said Stevens was a 36-year-old employee of a Catskills resort in August 1975, when her husband dropped her off for a doctor’s appointment at a hospital in Monticello, 75 miles northwest of New York City. When he returned to pick her up, she wasn’t there.

Police periodically reviewed Stevens’ case but kept hitting dead ends. They got a break in September, thanks to a query from a New York State Police investigator working on a different cold case. The unidentified remains of a woman had been found in neighboring Orange County, and the investigator said they roughly matched Stevens’ general characteristics. Iowa Couple Charged With Murder After 4-Month-Old Son Found Dead, Infested With Maggots

By Fox News. An Iowa couple was charged with first degree murder after their 4-month-old son was found dead and infested with maggots inside their apartment.

Police were called to the Riceville apartment of Cheyanne Harris, 20, and Zachary Koehn, 28, on August 30 after Koehn said his son Sterling was unresponsive, a few hours after he said Harris fed the infant . . .

The infant weighed just under seven pounds and was 14 inches long, well below the fifth percentile for the child’s age, according to an autopsy conducted by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office.

Examiners also discovered maggots in various stages of development on the child’s skin and clothing, indicating the 4-month-old had not had a diaper change or bath in over a week — and hadn’t even been removed from the power swing in that time, the criminal complaint said. Pediatricians ‘Increasingly’ Asked About Euthanasia for Kids

The Canadian Paediatric Society is urging improved palliative care for children and youth as a key part of preparing for the possibility of legalizing medical assistance in dying for certain patients under age 18 . . .

“Where the issue of medical assistance in dying is ever raised by a child, you know, we would advocate that that should automatically be a referral for pediatric palliative care.”

When Bill C-14, the law governing medically assisted dying for adults, was passed in June 2016, it included a requirement that the ministers of justice and health initiate an independent review on whether “mature minors” — youth under age 18 but deemed capable of giving consent — should be eligible for medically assisted death. That review is expected to be presented to Parliament by December 2018.

Davies, who is chairing the working group on mature minors as part of that review, is the lead author of a report released by the Canadian Paediatric Society on Thursday. The report made the palliative care recommendation and also summarized the results of surveys asking pediatricians about their views on making assisted death available to terminally ill young patients, and whether they had received any inquiries or requests about it . . .

Thirty-five pediatricians said they had “exploratory discussions” with a total of 60 patients under the age of 18 in the preceding year. Nine pediatricians received “explicit requests” for assisted death from a total of 17 minors. (Read more from “Pediatricians ‘Increasingly’ Asked About Euthanasia for Kids” HERE)

‘God’s Not Dead’ Actor Alleges Designer Gianni Versace Sexually Harassed Him

By Paul Bond. The actor, most famous for playing Hercules, claims the late Italian designer made an unwanted sexual advance while he was working as a model.

Actor Kevin Sorbo alleges that he was sexually harassed by the late Italian fashion magnate Gianni Versace when he was working as a model decades ago . . .

Sorbo said that in 1984, prior to his stint as the lead on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, which ran for six seasons in the late 1990s, Versace approached him in Italy, where he was modeling: “He wanted to meet me because of my height. At 6-foot, 3-inches, he wanted me to do fashion shows with these 6-foot tall women.”

Sorbo says he was invited to a dinner party where he met Sophia Loren, opera star Luciano Pavarotti, Richard Gere and others. He was invited for several more dinner parties, each one with fewer attendees, until one time it was him and Versace alone, where he told Sorbo he wanted him in commercials advertising his fashion brand.

“All of a sudden, his hand goes up my leg,” says Sorbo. “Dude, you know I’m straight?” he told Versace. (Read more from “Hercules Actor Alleges Designer Gianni Versace Sexually Harassed Him” HERE)

Five Women Accuse Journalist and ‘Game Change’ Co-Author Mark Halperin of Sexual Harassment

By Oliver Darcy. Veteran journalist Mark Halperin sexually harassed women while he was in a powerful position at ABC News, according to five women who shared their previously undisclosed accounts with CNN and others who did not experience the alleged harassment personally, but were aware of it.

“During this period, I did pursue relationships with women that I worked with, including some junior to me,” Halperin said in a statement to CNN Wednesday night. “I now understand from these accounts that my behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain. For that, I am deeply sorry and I apologize. Under the circumstances, I’m going to take a step back from my day-to-day work while I properly deal with this situation.”

Widely considered to be one of the preeminent political journalists, Halperin, 52, has, among other career highlights, been political director at ABC News; co-authored the bestselling book “Game Change,” which was made into an HBO movie starring Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin; and anchored a television show on Bloomberg TV. He currently serves as an analyst for NBC News, making frequent appearances on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” and is featured in Showtime’s “The Circus,” a show that chronicled the 2016 campaign cycle and the early days of the Trump presidency, and has a project in development with HBO, which, like CNN, is owned by Time Warner. Iconic Musician Rejects Homosexuality

Iconic musician Little Richard is renouncing his past life of sexual immorality, saying he believes same-sex relationships are “unnatural affections.”

In previous interviews, the famous singer referred to himself as “omnisexual,” revealing in an interview with GQ five years ago that he lived a life of perversion, including orgies.

But in an extensive interview with Three Angels Broadcasting Network, an Illinois-based Christian and health-oriented television and radio network, Little Richard says he has repented and turned to Jesus Christ for salvation.

“When I first came in show business they wanted you to look like everybody but yourself,” he recalled.

“And, anybody that comes in show business they gonna say you gay or straight,” he said. “God made men, men and women, women. You’ve got to live the way God wants you to live…he can save you,” the 84-year-old singer told the Christian broadcaster. (Read more from “Iconic Musician Rejects Homosexuality” HERE)

Investigative Journalist Who Exposed Elite Pedophile Ring, Found Dead

Liz MacKean, the former British investigative reporter who exposed Jimmy Savile and the culture of pedophile protection at the BBC, has been found dead. She was 52.

The BBC, who blocked her groundbreaking investigation from airing and spent the next few years attempting to destroy her reputation, are reporting that she died of “complications from a stroke.”

Acknowledging her life was under threat during the time she was investigating Savile and BBC elites, MacKean said her conscience left her no option but to pursue the truth and expose the culture of pedophila. The mother of two children believed it was her duty.

When it became public that BBC News blocked her investigation from airing, she admitted on Panorama: “I was very unhappy the story didn’t run because I felt we’d spoken to people who collectively deserved to be heard. And they weren’t heard.

“I thought that that was a failure… I felt we had a responsibility towards them. We got them to talk to us, but above all, we did believe them. And so then, for their stories not to be heard, I felt very bad about that. I felt, very much, that I’d let them down.” (Read more from “Investigative Journalist Who Exposed Elite Pedophile Ring, Found Dead” HERE)

Michael Moore’s Anti-Trump Broadway Show Fails

Michael Moore’s politically-charged Broadway show failed to bring in the big bucks at the box office.

Moore’s “The Terms of My Surrender” brought in $4.2 million during its 13-week run, according to BroadwayWorld.com, but the site reports that’s less than half of what the play had the potential to make.

The show closed this last weekend.

The liberal documentary maker’s play focused on Moore’s life and criticism of President Trump.

In comparison, “The Glass Menagerie,” the play that ran at the same theater before Moore’s show, brought in $5.4 million with 85 performances. Moore’s show had a total of 83 performances. (Read more from “Michael Moore’s Anti-Trump Broadway Show Fails” HERE)
