Grandmother Holds Kidnapper at Gun Point

A pistol-packing grandmother says she kept her cool and waited for the right moment to pull her gun on a kidnapper with a knife.

“The grace of God is what saved me, and the sense to have calm, and have my weapon, ” said Diane McIntire, of Missouri.

McIntire says she pulled up in the parking lot of Southpark Mall in Moline last Sunday to buy vitamins, when a man who appeared to be waiting for a bus, suddenly appeared with a knife at the driver’s side door.

“It was a large butcher knife, I did not even see it at first, that’s how quickly he was in my space. I kicked him in his chest, pushed him back, I felt the knife cut right below my elbow,” said McIntire, a former Quad Citian who was visiting family over the weekend.

McIntire would need 24 stitches to close the wound. (Read more from “Grandmother Holds Kidnapper at Gun Point” HERE)

Abortionist Charged After Baby Parts Found in Car

Michigan Abortionist Michael Arthur Roth, who was caught by police with 14 containers of aborted baby remains in his car, has entered a plea of “No Contest” to three felony counts of Larceny in a Building.

The 75-year-old appeared in a Macomb County Circuit Court Monday in the latest episode of a saga dating back to October, 2015, when police discovered stolen drugs, abortion equipment, and aborted baby remains in the trunk of his car.

According to reports at the time, police in West Bloomfield, Michigan, found “14 containers of human tissue, possibly fetuses, medical equipment and large amounts of Fentanyl, a drug used for pain and sedation,” leading to the suspicion that Roth had been secretly carrying out illegal home abortions. Drag-Queen Demon Reads to Kids at Michelle Obama Library

The Michelle Obama public library in Long Beach, California, has presented to children who are part of its young readers program a huge array of diversity and “inclusion” agendas . . .

It was when Xochi Mochi arrived for a visit.

That made the program pro-LGBTQ . . .

And Satanist-approved, with the character’s red-tipped, demon-like horns . . .

It happened at the Obama library for the “Drag Queen Story Hour,” a part of a collaboration between the LBPL, the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach, the Genders and Sexualities Alliance Network and the LGBTQ nonprofit Imperial Court of Long Beach, according to the Long Beach Public Library’s calendar.

Homosexual Pastor Trying to Keep Job

A Cincinnati pastor is at odds with some in his denomination to keep preaching the word of God.

He is openly gay and married, and that has some wanting him removed.

But his congregation said they are supporting him . . .

But he said since he married his partner of 30 years, Jim, last year, complaints have come into the church.

Sunday afternoon, the United Methodist Church’s Committee on Investigation heard the complaints and the argument on both sides to figure out if more proceedings are needed. (Read more from “Homosexual Pastor Trying to Keep Job” HERE)

70+ Kids “Missing” From State Foster Care and No One’s Stopping It

A shocking report out of Kansas highlights an extreme disconnect between government — the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF), which oversees foster care in the state, and the private foster care contractors that the state utilizes to place foster children and oversee their direct placement within foster homes.

There are at least 70 missing foster kids missing in Kansas, according to information provided by foster care contractors during a legislative oversight panel hearing this week. The information was provided as part of a response to questions related to the case of three missing sisters – ages 12, 14 and 15 – who went missing in August, and police believe ran away.

KVC Kansas, one of the foster care contractors, said it has roughly 38 missing children. The other company, Saint Francis Community Services, said 36 in its system are missing, according to KAKE.

Sen. Laura Kelly told the Child Welfare System Task Force that she was “flabbergasted” after contacting the Kansas DCF about the sisters’ disappearance from a northeast Kansas foster home – after incredibly, Secretary of Kansas DCF, Phyllis Gilmore, told Sen. Kelly that they knew nothing about the missing girls.

Gilmore admitted not knowing about the case, Kelly said, adding that the Gilmore is not simply the head of Kansas DCF, but, also “custodian of these children and she should have known.”

Although legislators expressed dismay over the missing foster kids, Chad Anderson, chief clinical officer at KVC Kansas, told the task force that the number of missing kids in Kansas represented about 1 percent of the foster care population – which is on par with the national average.

Anderson acknowledged that private contractors were not fulfilling their obligations as “custodian(s)” of the foster kids.

“I don’t know that we as contractors have shared as much in terms of missing youth and the day to day as we probably should,” Anderson said.

According to a report by TIME:

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reports that during the federal government’s 2015 fiscal year, about 4,600 children in foster care were listed as runaways, or 1.1 percent of the nearly 428,000 total. Kansas had almost 7,100 children in foster care in August, so the number of those missing is about 1 percent.

Gilmore said that while she couldn’t comment on the missing sisters, in many cases foster children simply go back to their own biological families or with other people they have a significant relationship.

“So it isn’t always a tragedy, but some certainly can be and that’s why we have to take it all very seriously,” Gilmore said, according to KAKE. Sen. Kelly disagreed with her assessment, noting “that’s not good” since they were initially removed from the home for a serious reason.

Chairman of the task force, Rep. Steve Alford, said after the meeting he wasn’t really surprised and noted the broken nature of the foster system.

“There’s a break between DCF and the contracting,” Rep. Alford said. “Once the children … (go from the court) into the possession of the secretary, she hands them off to the contractors and it’s their responsibility, you know, it’s kind of like out of sight, out of mind in a lot of aspects.”

The Child Welfare System Task Force was set up in 2016 as a means of trying to make the agency more effective in handling abuse and neglect cases, and in protecting children.

Hopefully, the fact that task force chairman Alford clearly recognizes the systemic failure of the foster care system will precipitate a change in daily operations and protocols. There should be no breakdown in communication between the state (DCF), and their hired proxies in the private foster care industry when it comes to a missing child.

The fact that vulnerable kids are being treated with an “out of sight, out of mind” attitude speaks to the systemic failure within Kansas’ state-private foster care system.

If these kids are slipping through the cracks, and virtually nobody in a position of stewardship seems to take responsibility or care, is the system really built to help these kids at all — or is it simply another case of crony capitalism, similar to the private prison industry? Christian Businessman Refuses to Serve Transgender “Woman,” Faces Backlash

A Christian business owner wouldn’t print business cards for a transgender woman who demanded his services, saying that doing so goes against his Christian values and beliefs.

After a transgender diversity consultant, Joanne Lockwood, asked Nigel Williams to print business cards to advertise his “SEE Change Happen” firm, Williams refused, according to the Independent. He said he did not feel comfortable offering his services to promote a firm that gives companies advice on transgender inclusion, equality, and diversity and that doing so goes against his religious convictions.

“The new model of diversity is used (or misused) to marginalise (or indeed discriminate against) Christians in their workplaces and other parts of society if they do not subscribe to it,” Williams wrote in an email replying to Lockwood’s request for business cards. “Although I’m quite sure you have no intention of marginalising Christians, it would weigh heavily upon me if through my own work I was to make pressure worse for fellow Christians,” he added.

“I was not expecting a lecture. I disbelieved this could happen in 2017… I have been the victim of some discrimination,” Lockwood told the Independent, describing her reaction to Williams’ email. (Read more from “Christian Businessman Refuses to Serve Transgender “Woman,” Faces Backlash” HERE)

Weinstein Brother Claims He Didn’t ‘Know’ Sibling Was Predator

The Weinstein Co. exec insists he had no idea about “the type of predator that he was” and is sickened by Harvey’s seeming lack of remorse. “I want him to get the justice that he deserves.”

For nearly 30 years, Bob Weinstein has lived in the shadow of his older brother Harvey Weinstein. While Harvey, 65, was the very public face of Miramax and then The Weinstein Company from Sundance to Cannes to Hollywood, palling around with stars and schmoozing Oscar voters, Bob, 62, has served on TWC’s board and tended to Dimension, their genre label, turning out movies like the Scream and Scary Movie franchises, that routinely made more money than all but Harvey’s biggest hits.

Now, in the wake of the dozens of allegations charging Harvey with three decades of sexual harassment, abuse and even rape, Harvey is out, fired from the company he co-founded with Bob in 2005. And Bob, thrust into an unaccustomed limelight, is forced to try to pick up the pieces amid the growing chaos. He insists that the company — which is expected to undergo a name change — can survive. But four of his fellow board members have resigned, and his COO David Glasser and other key members of his 150-employee staff have yet to commit to stay with the company. Amid widespread predictions that the Weinstein Co. will be forced to shut down or sell all or parts, he maintains, “There is a plan to come out on the other side.” (Read more from “Weinstein Brother Claims He Didn’t ‘Know’ Sibling Was Predator” HERE)

Women’s March Taps Rape Fantasy Writer for Speaking Slot

The Women’s March is “so excited.” And rightly so. Because in the first national Women’s Convention in 40 years, the convention managed to bag none other than an old, white male with a history of fantasizing about rape to deliver its opening-night speech.

Yup — they got the Bernie Sanders.

Sanders is expected to address more than 3,000 women and progressive activists, in all their pink pussy-hatted glory, presumably.

When he’s done giving the opening remarks, will he read from his 1972 essay, “Man – And – Women”?

The line about how “A woman enjoys intercourse with her man — as she fantasizes about being raped by 3 men simultaneously,” will undoubtedly be a highlight for all.

But seriously — of all people, in the entire world …

It does begin to make more sense, though, when remembering the Women’s March has nothing to do with female empowerment. It’s about advancing Marxism. (For more from the author of “Women’s March Taps Rape Fantasy Writer for Speaking Slot” please click HERE)

Police Fear the Worst When Kindergarten Teacher Goes Missing After Bailing Man out of Jail

It was on Oct. 6, that an Arizona kindergarten teacher, Cathryn Gorospe, went missing after reportedly bailing a man out of the Coconino County Jail in Flagstaff.

It was then discovered that the same man, Charlie Malzahn, 27, was later caught using her credit and debit cards in a different city, suggesting to authorities something fatal may have happened to the woman.

According to reports, Gorospe had left her house to post bail for Malzahn, who had been lingering in jail since Aug. 20 on a litany of charge. She never returned home.

Malzahn was briefly detained by authorities in Tucson the following day for using Gorospe’s credit and debit cards to purchase items from a mall.

Because Gorospe’s roommate had not yet reported her missing, however, they simply confiscated the items and let him go.

However, a day after her roommate had gone to police about Gorospe’s disappearance, authorities spotted her vehicle being driven by Malzahn in Phoenix. After a brief pursuit, he crashed and was taken into custody, KESQ reported.

Though bloodstains were found in the vehicle, suggesting Gorospe had been murdered, authorities continued to refrain from reaching any conclusions due to extenuating circumstances that had muddled the case.

Besides not yet understanding the relationship between Gorospe and Malzahn, authorities were also unsure of whether her sister had been friends with him as well.

Moreover, it was reported that Gorospe is the son of the chief of police in Williams — a nearby town.

What was known for certain was that after Gorospe bailed out Malzahn, the two traveled together until some point in which Malzahn apparently commandeered the vehicle and continued driving on his own, reportedly crisscrossing the state.

It had also beenrevealed that after being bailed out by Gorospe, Malzahn had contacted some of his acquaintances in search of drugs and a gun.

A subsequent report revealed he has a lengthy rap sheet spanning roughly half of his adult life.

“Department of Corrections records show he served a one-year sentence in 2008 for theft and a four-year sentence for a 2012 aggravated assault and resisting arrest — a case he had just finished serving in June,” reported Phoenix station KNXV.

As of Oct. 12, Gorospe’s family had traveled to Arizona from California and were planning to conduct an extensive search for her.

Anyone with information was encouraged to call Flagstaff police at 928-774-1414. (For more from the author of “Police Fear the Worst When Kindergarten Teacher Goes Missing After Bailing Man out of Jail” please click HERE)

‘Scam’ Superintendent Trying to ‘Interest’ Homeschoolers in State Program

A “scam” by a South Dakota school superintendent offering homeschoolers free laptops in exchange for enrolling in his district for one day has been explained.

He was just hoping to interest them in a distance-learning program.

“We thought providing valuable learning tools to our homeschool students while also increasing school revenue was a good idea,” Tri-Valley District Supt. Mike Lodmel said in a letter to the South Dakota Government Operations and Oversight Committee.

The group was assigned to investigate whether or not Lodmel’s scheme was an attempt “to game student headcounts for purposes of garnering more state funds.”

As WND reported last month, Lodmel sent officials to the front doors of families with homeschooled students, presenting the offer. The Argus-Leader in Sioux Falls reported he wanted the children to spend one day in public school “and go home with a new laptop.
