Rescuing Boy From Burning Truck Leads to Charges?

When a woman spotted a little boy in a burning pickup truck at Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, she acted quickly to help save him from flames shooting out of the vehicle.

Her actions ultimately helped save the boy’s life on Sunday, but Good Samaritan Tequila Isaacson may now face burglary charges for shattering a store window to access a fire extinguisher in the desperate frenzy to save the child.

“I’m in absolute shock,” Isaacson, 34, told KOMO News.

The blazing truck was parked near a Washington State Department of Transportation restroom. Next door, Isaacson spotted a Red Mountain Coffee shop, which had a fire extinguisher inside.

“We turned around and the whole vehicle was on fire,” she told the news station. “There were flames shooting between the cab and the bed of the truck – taller than the truck.” (Read more from “Rescuing Boy From Burning Truck Leads to Charges?” HERE)

Teacher to ‘Hail Satan,’ Pastor Vows Sledgehammer

A South Florida middle-school teacher is again igniting rage among local Christians by planning a satanic display encouraging children to “hail Satan” in a public city park during the upcoming Christmas season.

Preston Smith, a language-arts teacher at Boca Raton Community Middle School, is looking to erect a giant, 300-pound metal pentagram with messages including: “May the Children Hail Satan,” “In Satan We Trust” and “One Nation under Antichrist.”

But one local pastor is vowing to personally demolish the display with a sledgehammer.

“In essence they’re putting out a welcome mat for Satan,” Pastor Mark Boykin, of the Church of All Nations in Boca Raton told WPEC-TV.

“I think this is reprehensible. I think it’s an insult to our city. … It’s evil, it’s the essence of evil. I will take the responsibility for taking the sledgehammer and knocking it down.” (Read more from “Teacher to ‘Hail Satan,’ Pastor Vows Sledgehammer” HERE)

Megyn Kelly’s Today Show Plagued by Awkward Moments and Offensive Remarks

[Editor’s note: We aren’t fans of Megyn Kelly, but it seems most of the hits on Kelly’s new show – like the video below – are coming from the left. If you’ve watched her since leaving Fox, please comment below on whether her show is worth watching]

It’s only day three of Megyn Kelly’s new daytime show on NBC, and the program is already being dragged down by a series of offensive remarks, cringeworthy interactions, and awkward moments.

“Megyn Kelly TODAY” has created a number of bad headlines since its Monday premiere.

In response to a promo video where Kelly claims to be a “unifying force,” John Oliver’s HBO program, “Last Week Tonight” ran a supercut of Kelly’s most “controversial” remarks:

On her first day, Kelly created a mini-controversy by hosting the cast of “Will & Grace” and making a bizarre comment about a gay fan of the show.

Russell Turner, a “super fan” of the show, was invited onstage by Kelly. When he got on onstage, Kelly made viewers cringe by asking, “Is it true that you became a lawyer–and you became gay–because of Will?” (Read more from “Megyn Kelly’s Today Show Plagued by Awkward Moments and Offensive Remarks” HERE)

Family Says 8-Yr-Old Boy Dies After Protecting Little Sister From Attacker

Most parents dream of raising siblings with a connection so strong they’d do anything for the other — including giving their life — though few would wish to see the latter become reality.

But that’s exactly what happened when Dante Daniels, 8, saved his younger sister from the alleged assault of 23-year-old Deandre Chaney Jr.

According to The Washington Post, Elizabeth Salone, 28, had asked her Chaney, her ex-boyfriend, “to watch her children while she dropped her brother off at work.”

She then returned home at around 6:10 a.m. to hear one of the children screaming from inside the home.

Upon entering, she was walking toward one of their bedrooms when Chaney “struck her from behind with a hammer and tied her up,” The Post reported, citing court documents.

Salone’s sister, Latasha Robinson, said Chaney then soaked her in lighter fluid before stealing her car keys, cellphone and cash and driving off.

Salone was able to escape to neighbors for help, but the damage had already been done.

The Sacramento County district attorney filed a criminal complaint earlier this month claiming Chaney had committed a “lewd or lascivious act” on Salone’s 7-year-old daughter, an act her older brother tried to defend her from.

Robinson said Dante moved to intervene and defend his younger sister when Chaney retrieved the hammer and subsequently used it to “brutally beat both of the children,” The Post reported.

After being rushed to the hospital, Dante was declared brain dead. He would die six days later, never making it to his second day of third grade at Oakridge Elementary in South Sacramento.

After fleeing, Chaney allegedly cut off “his parolee ankle monitor and (hopped) on an Amtrak train bound for Salt Lake City,” The Sacramento Bee reported, citing the detective’s arrest warrant request.

He was arrested in Winnemucca, Nevada, on Sept. 2, where he was found hiding inside a shed.

According to Fox News, “Chaney was arraigned on murder, attempted murder and charged with lewd acts with a child under 14.”

In the courtroom on Sept. 15, Salone and other family members had no issue facing Chaney directly, calling him a “coward” and saynig “he killed my grandson.”

“This guy beat my grandson with a hammer. Down to his spine. They couldn’t save his brain,” Monique Brown, Dante’s grandmother, told local station KTXL.

Brown also said Salone, a mother of three, will likely be permanently blind in one eye due to the alleged attack, adding that, though Dante’s sister is recovering, she will “need a lot of help.”

But even after Dante’s death, he’s continuing to help people, as a 4-year-old boy in California recently received Dante’s heart.

Robinson described Dante to The Washington Post

“When his feelings were hurt, he would walk into the corner and wait for one of us to come over and give him a hug,” she said. “He was our emotional kid.”

According to Brown, Dante was a “sensitive” third-grader who loved baseball and “didn’t play with kids that were rough.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up in Dante’s honor. The effort had raised nearly $90,000 to help Dante’s family with medical expenses. (For more from the author of “Family Says 8-Yr-Old Boy Dies After Protecting Little Sister From Attacker” please click HERE)

Explosive: The Insidious Roots of Campus ‘Safe Spaces’

“Safe spaces.” “Speech codes.” “Consciousness raising.”

These are the slogans and catchphrases of the modern politically correct campus. For most Americans, they are simply expressions of political correctness run wild or of overly sensitive students being coddled. And while such developments might seem silly or stupid, most people certainly don’t regard them as dangerous . . .

Those behind this bizarre “new” phenomenon, Kengor shows in “The Marxist roots of the ‘safe spaces’ movement,” have drawn their influence from thinkers from the farthest reaches of the political Left, including:

Michel Foucault, an important theorist of the New Left, author of “A History of Sexuality” – and also a drug-obsessed homosexual and member of the French Communist Party;

Bell Hooks, a cultural Marxist, who worked to promote the idea of “education for critical consciousness,” which transforms the purpose of education from the transmission of knowledge and tradition, to turning students into agents of “deconstruction”;

More Than 40 Families Pull Children From School That Forced Transgender Lesson on 5-Year-Olds

Forty-one families have pulled 73 children from the elite Sacramento-area Rocklin Academy charter schools as the board continues to defend a kindergarten transgender lesson several parents say traumatized their 5-year-olds and that parents weren’t told about beforehand.

A mother who pulled her son from Grade 6 and daughter from Grade 3 at Rocklin Academy Gateway, where the incident took place, has kept a tally of parents who’ve done likewise.

“It was just the tipping point for most families,” the parent, who asked her name not be published, told LifeSiteNews.

Some parents pulled their kids “solely for this,” while other had “multiple reasons, but yes, this was part of everyone’s reason,” she said.

The controversy erupted after a lesson in which the boy appeared in girl’s clothes and was reintroduced to his kindergarten classmates as a girl. (Read more from “More Than 40 Families Pull Children From School That Forced Transgender Lesson on 5-Year-Olds” HERE)

Fifth Grade Teacher: ‘My Prefix Is MX.’

The influential Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., is warning parents of “brazen” indoctrination plans being pursued by teachers, even in elementary schools.

The latest instance, FRC explains, is in Florida, where a fifth-grade teacher sent home a note to parents mandating that students use only politically correct pronouns in class.

“One thing that you should know about me is that I use gender neutral terms. My prefix is Mx. (pronounced Mix). Additionally, my pronouns are ‘they, them, their’ instead of ‘he, his, she, hers.’”

The Tallahassee Democrat newspaper reported math and science teacher Chloe Bressack gave the instructions to students and parents with the full support of Paul Lambert, the principal at Canopy Oaks.

“We support her preference in how she’s addressed, we certainly do. I think a lot of times it might be decided that there is an agenda there, because of her preference – I can tell you her only agenda is teaching math and science at the greatest level she can,” Lambert said. Muslim Doctor Accused of Mutilating ‘Countless’ Little Girls Freed

After five months in jail, Dr. Jumana Nagarwala, the Detroit-area Muslim doctor accused of mutilating the genitalia of “countless” young girls, was released on a $4.5 million unsecured property bond Tuesday.

“I was there in the courtroom. I saw it all,” said Elizabeth Yore, an international child-welfare advocate and leader of the #EndFGMToday initiative.

Yore said Dr. Nagarwala, 44, appeared Tuesday before Judge Bernard Friedman in an orange jumpsuit, her head covered by a hijab or Muslim headscarf. She remained silent during the entire pretrial detention hearing.

By the end, the doctor flashed a brief smile when she was told by the judge she would be released from jail pending her trial, which will likely occur in 2018. She then wept, which her attorney called “tears of joy.”

Until Tuesday, Nagarwala had been the only one of eight defendants in the nation’s first FGM case being held without bond. (Read more from “Muslim Doctor Accused of Mutilating ‘Countless’ Little Girls Freed” HERE)

Judge: OK to Starve Disabled Patients Without Court Order

A judge has ruled that Court permission will not be needed to remove food and fluids from severely brain damaged patients, a move which has caused concern among opponents of euthanasia.

Unlike other forms of medical care, the decision to withdraw food and fluids from patients in a “permanent vegetative state” (the term “unresponsive wakefulness syndrome” is now generally preferred) has until now been referred to the Court of Protection, even if doctors and relatives are in agreement.

Now, the decision by Mr Justice Jackson means those cases will no longer have to come to court. He made his ruling in a case concerning a 50-year-old woman who suffered from a degenerative illness for 14 years. The patient, known in court as M, had Huntington’s disease and was bed-ridden in hospital and fed by a tube. The Court heard that she had shown no sign of awareness for 18 months.

Mr Justice Jackson agreed with her family and doctors that withdrawing nutrition from her would be in her best interests. The tube was removed and she died in August. Mr Justice Jackson said in his view the case should not have come to court. (Read more from “Judge: OK to Starve Disabled Patients Without Court Order” HERE)

‘Like a Slave:’ Three Muslim Women, at Least One of Them Bloodied, Called Police on Imran Awan

Multiple women in relationships with Imran Awan, the indicted former IT aide for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, have recently called Virginia law enforcement and alleged being abused by him, police reports obtained under Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act show.

Officers found one of the women bloodied and she told them she “just wanted to leave,” while the second said she felt like a “slave,” according to Fairfax County Police reports obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group. A third woman claimed she was being kept “in captivity.”

The third woman is Awan’s stepmother, Samina Gilani, who said in court documents that Awan invoked his authority as a congressional employee to intimidate immigrant women, in part by telling them he had the power to have people kidnapped.

All but two of the nearly two dozen Democratic women Awan worked for in the House declined to comment on the police reports. (Read more from “‘Like a Slave:’ Three Muslim Women, at Least One of Them Bloodied, Called Police on Imran Awan” HERE)
