Catholic Women’s School Saint Mary’s College to Admit Transgender Applicants

Saint Mary’s College has approved a policy to consider male applicants who “identify as women,” which would effectively strip the school of its ability to accurately call itself a women’s college.

The college’s “non-discrimination” policy now says that Saint Mary’s can consider admission for undergraduate applicants “whose sex is female or who consistently live and identify as women,” according to a report by the Observer.

“The mission of Saint Mary’s College is to empower women, through education, at all stages in life,” the policy reads. “Essential to this mission is fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive campus experience. This mission is inherently tied to the vision and values of our founders and sponsors, the Sisters of the Holy Cross.”

President Katie Conboy said in a Tuesday email to to faculty, staff, and students that the Board of Trustees “fully supports” the new policy.

“This confidence from our Board underscores their commitment that as an employer, Saint Mary’s must stand firm in its position as an inclusive community leader, and that as educators, we should continue to create an environment where all women belong and thrive,” Conboy wrote. A biological woman, “Miss Nicaragua” Sheynnis Palacios, won the crown at the Miss Universe pageant Saturday in El Salvador.

Palacios, 23, is the first Nicaraguan to win the crown, the Associated Press (AP) reported Sunday.

Video footage shows the tense moments as the crowd waited for the crowning. “Okay, the new Miss Universe is…” the announcer said as the two contestants waited and held hands on the stage.

“Nicaragua!” the announcer shouted as Palacios reacted in shock. Moments later, the glittering crown was placed on her head:

It is important to note the company that owns the Miss Universe pageant recently filed for bankruptcy, Breitbart News reported November 10.

“The company is led by transgender rights advocate Anne Jakrajutatip, who took over the pageant’s brand in 2022,” the article said, also highlighting the fact that the pageant in El Salvador was slated to feature, for the first time, two transgender women contestants.

Trans Athlete Who Seriously Injured Female Player Quits Team After Opponents Refuse to Play Against Him

A male-born transgender athlete has quit a British soccer team when faced with opposing teams refusing to play against his team after he broke an opponent’s knee during a match. But even after quitting, the trans player is threatening to sue.

Opponents had refused to play against Francesca Needham, 30, after he broke a female player’s knee as she tried to block his shot. Many claimed they were “terrified” to face Needham on the field, according to the Daily Mail.

Needham ultimately resigned from the Rossington Main Ladies team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, saying he did so for the good of the team after many opponents refused to play them. But he was not happy to fade off into the sunset.

In a statement to the team’s Facebook page, Needham decried the fact that he “faced challenges from teams unwilling to play against us while I am on the field.” . . .

“This unfortunate circumstance has prompted me to investigate pursuing a case of discrimination, as I believe it represents a breach of a code of conduct regarding diversity and inclusion, as well as safeguarding of adults in football established by both the Football Association and the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League,” he wrote. Director Taika Waititi promises his upcoming Star Wars movie is “gonna piss people off” after he emasculated Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder.

According to Variety:

When asked if his addition to the popular franchise would still show fans the same “Star Wars” they know and love, the “Thor: love and thunder” director animatedly told Variety on the red carpet of his “Next Goal Wins” premiere, “It will be … dramatic pause… a Taika Waititi film.”

“It’s gonna piss people off,” he added with a laugh.

Female Boxer Refuses to Fight Trans Opponent Championship Match

A female boxer in Quebec withdrew from a provincial boxing championship last month after being told without notice that she would have to fight a male-born transgender opponent.

Boxer Dr. Katia Bissonnette of Saguenay refused to step into the ring with transgender opponent Mya Walmsley during the 2023 Provincial Golden Glove Championship, which took place October 27 to 29, according to Reduxx.

The event hosted in Victoriaville, Quebec, by the Quebec Boxing Federation and the KO-96 boxing club was held to give novice fighters a shot at qualifying for the Canadian Championship in December.

But when Bissonnette was told of her match, she says she was unaware that she was to face a male fighter until an hour before fight time.

“I came down from my hotel room to head towards the room where all the boxers were warming up. My coach suddenly took me aside and told me he received information by text message, which he had then validated, that my opponent was not a woman by birth. This Retailer Won’t Let Cops Arrest Shoplifters

Target, a retailer that long has been socially progressive to the point of promoting controversial alternative lifestyle choices, has been in the headlines in recent months for those actions. . .

Now there’s a new report out that Target has gone extreme on yet another social agenda – the leftist agenda that includes essentially ignoring crimes like shoplifting.

Multiple George Soros-backed prosecutors have adopted that plan in recent months, to the point some have even declared they’ll not prosecute such thefts under, say, about $900.

It is the Epoch Times that is reporting sheriff Jim Cooper, serving residents of the far-left Sacramento County, accused Target of preventing deputies from apprehending shoplifters.

That’s despite the company’s request for help in curbing an explosion in the number of retail crime cases.

Police: School Janitor Contaminated Kids’ Food With Bodily Fluids, Possessed Child Porn

A New Jersey elementary school janitor who previously made headlines for allegedly contaminating food and cafeteria utensils with bodily fluids and bleach is now facing child pornography charges, prosecutors say.

Giovanni Impellizzeri, 25, had already been in custody since October 31 after state police received tips about his disturbing social media activity. He had posted “extremely disturbing videos of himself while at work” at the Elizabeth Moore School, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a press release.

Investigators found posts Impellizzeri made on a Telegram group thread, which appeared to show him “performing sexual acts with inanimate objects at the school,” officials said, noting that the janitor seemed to be “doing things that would endanger the well-being of the students at the school.”

The material included Impellizzeri allegedly urinating, masturbating, and spitting on food and utensils used by children, Fox News reported. In the affidavit obtained by the outlet, it was said that Impellizzeri allegedly wiped his private parts and anus with bread, spit on bread before putting the food back in the container, and sprayed bleach into a container of cucumbers. Syphilis Cases in U.S. Newborns Rise 10-Fold Over a Decade

The number of newborns with syphilis in the United States surged more than 10-fold in the last decade, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on Tuesday.

The agency said 3,761 cases were recorded in 2022, the highest in over 30 years, up from 334 cases in 2012. The 2022 cases included 231 stillbirths and 51 infant deaths.

Nine out of 10 cases might have been prevented with timely testing and treatment during pregnancy, said Laura Bachmann, chief medical officer in CDC’s Division of STD Prevention.

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection that can cause serious health problems without treatment, and during pregnancy, can lead to stillbirth, miscarriage, infant death, and maternal and infant morbidity.
