Absolute Insanity: Two Teachers Unions Back Bill Allow Adult Males to Shower With Young Girls

A bill that would allow adult biological males to shower or change alongside young girls has earned the endorsement of two prominent teachers unions in Massachusetts.

State legislators are considering a bill that would specifically open all public restrooms, shower facilities, and locker rooms to transgender people.

“An Act Relative to Gender Identity and Non-Discrimination” (H.B. 1577) would add “gender identity” to the state’s protected classes able to access all public facilities, such as private changing areas. Lawmakers specifically exempted “lawfully sex-segregated facilities” when it passed a 2011 ordinance granting transgender people protected legal status, but included school restroom facilities.

“The issue with the latest bill is not that it opens up opposite sex restrooms in the schools, because they’re already open in the schools at this point in Massachusetts,” Sean Ryan, director of communications for the pro-family watchdog group MassResistance, told LifeSiteNews.

“This pending legislation opens the floodgate to adults being able to victimize children in public facilities,” Ryan continued. “Erasing the distinction of sex and allowing men to use opposite-sex facilities is a predator’s dream.” (Read more from “Absolute Insanity: Two Teachers Unions Back Bill Allow Adult Males to Shower With Young Girls” HERE)

New Study Finds America Is Less Religious Than Ever Before

A new study using data from the General Social Survey has found that Americans are less observant of religion than perhaps ever before.

The study was undertaken by researchers from Duke University and University College in London and found that only 18 percent of Americans under the age of 60 attend church at least once a month. In contrast, among those aged 70 and older, 41 percent attend worship services.

“The U.S. has long been considered an exception to the modern claim that religion is declining…. But if you look at the trajectory, and the generational dynamic that is producing the trajectory, we may not be an exception after all,” Mark Chaves, a professor of sociology, divinity and religion at Duke University said . . .

“These declines aren’t happening fast, but the signs are now unmistakable. It has become clear that American religiosity has been declining for decades, and the decline is driven by the same dynamic of generational change that has driven religious decline across the developed world,” Professor David Voas of University College’s Institute of Education said. Muslim Uber Driver Charged With Raping Woman

A Muslim working as an Uber driver is suspected of raping a woman at an Anaheim motel after giving her a ride from a Fullerton bar.

Police believe there may be more victims and are asking for the public’s help in finding them.

Omar Mahmoud Mousa, 52, of Anaheim was arrested on a $100,000 bond and assigned a court date of April 8 to face felony charges of rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration by foreign object. The alleged rape occurred Oct. 25, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, but Mousa had been out of the country until recently. He was arrested March 7 as he disembarked from a plane landing at Los Angeles International Airport.

Authorities were not saying what country he had traveled to or whether he was a native-born American, a naturalized citizen or some other status.

Uber issued a statement that read: “Uber has a zero-tolerance policy for violent behavior, and our thoughts are with the victim of this atrocious crime. We immediately blocked this individual’s access to the Uber platform upon learning of this incident and actively assisted law enforcement in their investigation.” (Read more from “Muslim Uber Driver Charged With Raping Woman” HERE)

Pope Francis Fires Vatican Ambassador to U.S. Who Set up Meeting With Kim Davis

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano is a staunch conservative and was vocally opposed to same-sex marriage throughout his five-year tenure as the Vatican’s nuncio (ambassador) to the United States.

He also sent an anonymous invite to Ms. Kim Davis, of [pro-family] fame, to the Pope’s DC visit. While people, here and elsewhere, initially thought this was a coup for Davis and [traditional marriage], Pope Francis turned the other cheek.

And now word comes that the incident is prompting The Vatican to replace Vigano. A friend of the Pope’s claimed he was blindsided by the meeting, and the move caused the Vatican to distance itself from Viganò, leading many to believe the Pope would quietly replace him as his “statutory retirement age” was approaching. Viganò turned 75 in January; when bishops and archbishops reach that age, they are required to submit a letter of resignation to the Vatican.

Interestingly, the Pope is thinking about replacing the social conservative warrior with an advocate of immigration.

[W]ill be replaced by Archbishop Christophe Pierre, a French-born clergyman who is currently the nuncio to Mexico, Catholic magazine America reports, citing Sandro Magister, a blogger who covers the Vatican.

Remembering When Mother Teresa Left Hillary Clinton in Stunned Silence on Abortion

President Obama, as has his predecessors, delivered a prepared speech. But, to be honest, I found the remarks of his fellow pro-abortionist, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the same dais, much more intriguing.

Judging by what Clinton said and previously, she appears to have been genuinely moved by her meeting with Mother Teresa. In 1994 Mother Teresa delivered a no-hold-barred pro-life speech at the National Prayer Breakfast in front of Clinton, her equally pro-abortion husband, then-President Bill Clinton, and Al and Tipper Gore.

Hillary Clinton talked about being summoned afterwards by Mother Teresa and working with her to establish the Mother Teresa Home for Infant Children. It takes nothing away from what Hillary Clinton may have contributed to this noble project to remember what Mother Teresa said to the many power brokers assembled at the Hilton Hotel 16 years ago.

But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself.

And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love and we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts. Jesus gave even His life to love us. So, the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love, that is, to give until it hurts her plans, or her free time, to respect the life of her child. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts.

One Photo of George W. Bush Emerged From Nancy Reagan’s Funeral That Has Everyone Talking

It’s often said that a picture speaks a thousand words, but one photo that emerged from former First Lady Nancy Reagan’s funeral seems to be saying a lot of different things to different people, stirring passions on both sides of the political aisle . . .

The photo was posted to Twitter by CNN political director David Chalian and was accompanied by the caption “This may be the best photo from Mrs. Reagan’s funeral.”

Many people immediately reacted to the photo by saying it was nice to see famous American politicians with opposing ideologies such as a Bush and Clinton letting their guard down in a time of mourning and celebration of the life of Mrs. Reagan.

And many liberals, including some Bernie Sanders fans, were also upset. To them, the photo proved that Hillary was exactly the same as the president many of them despised.

Another State Bans Late-Term Abortions!

Gov. Dennis Daugaard signed a bill late Thursday that prohibits most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, making South Dakota the 13th state in the nation to ban late-term abortions.

“The state has a compelling state interest in protecting the lives of unborn children from the stage at which substantial medical evidence indicates that they are capable of feeling pain,” the bill stated.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act passed the state Senate 21-14 on February 23, and was approved 59-7 in the South Dakota House on March 3.

The law recognizes “the humanity of unborn children”, Rep. Isaac Latterell (R-District 6), who sponsored the bill in the House, told the Associated Press. “These are people just like you and me.”

“When an abortion of an unborn child capable of feeling pain is necessary due to a medical emergency, the physician shall deliver the child in the manner which, in reasonable medical judgment, provides the best opportunity for the unborn child to survive, but only if it is consistent with preserving the pregnant mother’s life and preventing an irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman,” the new law states. “His wife, Heidi, will be the very first pro-life first lady,” Dobson says in the TV ad, in which he also endorses Ted Cruz for president.

When Nancy Reagan’s Stepson Saw Obama Was Skipping Her Funeral, He Immediately Knew What to Say

Nancy Reagan’s stepson had a very simple explanation for why President Obama decided to party at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival instead of attending Nancy Reagan’s funeral on Friday.

“It seems that Barack Obama has never learned the right thing to do,” said Michael Reagan, during an interview Wednesday with Newsmax TV.

“It would’ve been nice if he would’ve honored Nancy and been there, but I’m not surprised again,” Reagan said. “Imagine if Nancy were a Democrat, liberal — or if Ronald Reagan was, he probably would be there.”

“Sometimes, there’s a right thing to do,” he said. “Whether you agree with something or not, sometime it’s just the right thing to do. He just keeps on missing the ball on that one” . . .

Michael Reagan said Nancy Reagan’s influence was a tremendous positive for his father’s presidency.

“What was great about Nancy is not only was she a great helpmate and spouse to my father in that way and a great first lady, but she was that last person to lay her head on the pillow at night that could have the ear of the president of the United States and try to protect him from people out there who were trying to use him for their own good,” he said.
