Christian Actor Just Revealed a Dark Secret About Life in Hollywood

“I don’t know why in Hollywood you have to be afraid to say you’re a Christian, but there’s a lot of bashing of Christians going on over the last decade.”

Those are the words of actor and director Kevin Sorbo, who recently gave an interview to the Gospel Herald. Sorbo, 57, is a Christian and also known for roles of Professor Radisson in “God’s Not Dead,” Hercules in “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,” Captain Dylan Hunt in “Andromeda,” and Kull in “Kull the Conqueror.”

Sorbo is currently working on several projects, including “The Carpool Lane,” which co-stars Dean Cain, and “Let There Be Light,” a faith-based Christmas movie which will come out Christmas 2017. He discussed with Leah Marieann Klett of the Gospel Herald the current nature of faith-based films and what it’s like to be a Christian actor in Hollywood . . .

GH: In the past, you’ve been critical about the production quality and content of faith-based films. In your opinion, what’s the biggest problem with faith-based films? Is the faith-based film industry getting better?

KS: I think that most people would agree that faith-based movies back in the 70’s, 80’s, and even the 90’s were very cheesy, poorly written, and poorly acted. A lot of people were turned off by them, because they were also too preachy. We live in a world where people don’t want to be told what to believe in and what not to believe in. You have to walk a fine line to hold an audience – obviously, you’ve got the choir up there, but you don’t want to just preach to the choir, you want to preach to the “independent voters” – someone who is searching for what to believe.

NC Lt. Gov: If Bathroom Law Protects One Child From Being Molested, It’s Worth It

In response to PayPal’s decision to not open an operations center in Charlotte, N.C. that would employ 400 people because of the state’s new law requiring people to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of their biological gender, Lt. Gov. Dan Forest said if the new law protects one child or one woman “from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it.” He added that despite the job losses, North Carolina does not put “a price tag on the value of our children.”

“If our action in keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it,” said Lt. Gov. Forest in a statement following PayPal’s announcement on April 5.

“North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children,” he said. “They are precious and priceless.”

“If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business somewhere else.”

PayPal is a pro-LGBT company, and in an April 5 statement, CEO Dan Schulman said the North Carolina law “perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture. As a result, PayPal will not move forward with our planned expansion into Charlotte.” (Read more from “NC Lt. Gov: If Bathroom Law Protects One Child From Being Molested, It’s Worth It” HERE)

Grieving Mother Tells Donald Trump: ‘You Are My Hero, You Saved My Life’

Legal German immigrant Sabine Durden lost her only son Dominic in 2012 when an unlicensed, illegal alien driver hit and killed him. Now, Durden says Donald Trump is the 2016 presidential candidate who has brought attention to her son’s death and renewed her hope.

The illegal alien responsible for her son’s death had prior DUI convictions yet remained in the United States illegally . . .

Durden first spoke with Breitbart News at the July 2014 protests against illegal immigration in Murrietta, California along with her fiance Anthony Coulter.

“This [illegal] is not a racial word,” Coulter said in a Breitbart News video. “So then who speaks for me?” Coulter continued, “I’m speaking for him [Dominic Durden]. African Americans really, I love us, as we’ve been duped too. And I’m not angry at us. We’re not here, because we’ve been duped also.”

Sabine Durden and a host of other families and friends and supporters of families who have lost loved ones to the actions of foreign nationals illegally present in the United States held a National Day of Remembrance event that Breitbart News covered in November of that same year. No other media appeared to cover the event from the location. (Read more from “Grieving Mother Tells Donald Trump: ‘You Are My Hero, You Saved My Life'” HERE)

Cruz Reaches out to Women Voters, Answers Abortion Questions

Sen. Ted Cruz on Monday reached out to female voters, claiming Donald Trump seems to have “a problem with strong women” as the two prepared for Tuesday’s Wisconsin primary.

The Texas senator appeared to try to capitalize on Trump’s recent campaign missteps that seem to be alienating women voters, a crucial voting bloc to win a general election.

“He seems to have a problem with strong women,” Cruz said on a special Town Hall edition of Fox News Channel’s “Kelly File.”

“It’s going to be up to the men and women in Wisconsin” to decide who wins. “I could not be more encouraged by the enthusiasm.”

Trump in recent weeks retweeted an unflattering picture of Cruz’s wife, Heidi, and suggested “some form of punishment” for women who got an abortion if they were illegal – then issued two statements to clarify his position. What Miranda Lambert Wore to the Country Music Awards Will Outrage Leftists‏

The war to preserve the Second Amendment is not merely one fought in Congress. It is not merely fought in courtrooms. The real battle for the preservation of our right that protects all others is a cultural one.

Everywhere today, kids are told that guns are bad and that only bad people have them. A teen wears an NRA shirt to school and he is sent home. A child brings his favorite squirt gun to school and he’s treated as a mini domestic terrorist.

The left continually attempts to introduce doctors into the conversation about gun ownership. Liberals contend that gun ownership is both a mental health issue and a national health crisis.

We are fighting a very cultural war that will determine how future generations view gun ownership. Because of this war, the left is likely to be none-too-pleased with country music star Miranda Lambert’s choice of attire at the Country Music Awards on Sunday.

The country star won Female Vocalist of the Year at the awards for the sixth consecutive year. She came to the awards show with a tasteful dress, but with a small gun and holster attached to her pink stilettos. 21-Year-Old Student Hangs Herself After Terrible Grief Following Her Abortion

Three weeks after her abortion, 21-year-old Jade Rees played a popular song about an unborn baby on her phone, then took a rope and hung herself at her home in England.

The Sun reports Rees had an abortion after her unborn child’s father dumped her for another woman. Before she committed suicide on Nov. 3, 2015, she left a handwritten note for her parents, saying that she was struggling because of her abortion. She wrote a second note to her 2-year-old son. “He means everything to me,” she wrote.

An inquest into her death is on-going. Rees reportedly had been struggling with eating disorders and depression for years. According to the court hearing, Rees felt “upset and distressed” after aborting her unborn child.

She attempted suicide once before but was unsuccessful, and her parents took her to a psychiatrist for help, according to the court . . .

Her unborn child likely was at the forefront of her mind when she took her life. Before she committed suicide, Rees had listened to the song “Little Bump” on her phone, according to authorities. The popular Ed Sheeran song is an emotional tribute to a friend’s baby who was miscarried. (Read more from “21-Year-Old Student Hangs Herself After Terrible Grief Following Her Abortion” HERE)

Trump Just Revealed That His Wife Is About to Do Something BIG Many People Probably Didn’t Expect

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s “best asset” is joining his campaign Monday as Trump pulls out all the stops to win a high-stakes GOP primary on Tuesday.

Trump announced Saturday that his wife, Melania, will be joining him in Wisconsin on Monday. At least one commentator thinks she may have what his campaign needs.

“She’s going to campaign. She’s never done this before,” Trump said Saturday during a rally at Racine, Wis. “So that will be exciting, Melania is coming up.”

Melania Trump has remained in the background of the campaign. To date, the only time she received much attention came when a racy modeling photo that appeared on the cover of GQ in 2000 was used in an anti-Trump ad in Utah, sparking Trump to lash out at Republican rival, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Cruz’s wife, Heidi.

Despite Melania Trump’s low profile to date, one commentator thinks she will help Trump.

“Melania Trump could be a persuasive messenger in the campaign, especially among political independents. In fact, she could be more effective … than Trump himself,” wrote Lauren Wright for The Washington Post. Hillary Clinton Admits an Unborn Child Is a Person… He Just Doesn’t Get Constitutional Rights

Democratic primary front-runner Hillary Clinton ran afoul of both the pro-life and pro-choice sides of the abortion debate Sunday when she said constitutional rights do not apply to an “unborn person” or “child.”

“The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights,” Mrs. Clinton said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “Now that doesn’t mean that we don’t do everything we possibly can in the vast majority of instances to, you know, help a mother who is carrying a child and wants to make sure that child will be healthy, to have appropriate medical support” . . .

Diana Arellano, manager of community engagement for Planned Parenthood Illinois Action, said Sunday that Mrs. Clinton’s comments undermined the cause for abortion rights.

The comment “further stigmatizes #abortion,” Ms. Arellano said in a tweet. “She calls a fetus an ‘unborn child’ & calls for later term restrictions.”

Describing the fetus as a “person” or “child” has long been anathema to the pro-choice movement, which argues the terms misleadingly imply a sense of humanity. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Admits an Unborn Child Is a Person… They Just Don’t Get Constitutional Rights” HERE)

California Man Dressed as Woman Busted for Videoing in Ladies Bathroom

A Palmdale, California, man wearing women’s clothing was arrested in a Lancaster Macy’s store after he was seen in a women’s bathroom. The man was allegedly videotaping women in the bathroom.

Jason Pomare, 33, was arrested over the weekend after mall security officers learned he had been hanging out in a Macy’s department store women’s bathroom. The security guards contacted a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) deputy who found the cross-dressing man in a mall storage area, NBC Los Angeles reported.

When Pomare was contacted, he was wearing a wig and women’s clothing, including a bra, a statement from the LASD revealed. “The deputy noticed he was wearing a wig and appeared to have breasts,” LASD Sergeant Brian Hudson told the Los Angeles news outlet.

While searching the suspect, the deputy discovered a video camera in his purse. The camera allegedly contained hours of women using the bathroom inside the store.

Witnesses told police that Pomare would conceal the camera in bathroom stalls. The woman who contacted store security noticed the “recording light” on the camera. It appears Pomare was in the bathroom for around two hours, Hudson told the reporter. (Read more from “California Man Dressed as Woman Busted for Videoing in Ladies Bathroom” HERE)

GRIDLOCK IN NYC SO HILLARY CAN GET A $1,200 HAIRCUT: A Female Reader Responds

Hillary Clinton’s oversized motorcade gridlocked Manhattan traffic this week so she could, eh, get a coiffe.

Looks like the cut and color cost a mere $1,200. But she’s for the little people!

Hillary Clinton’s entourage — four big black cars plus her top aide Huma Abedin — was spotted outside Bergdorf Goodman on Wednesday morning waiting as the presidential hopeful got her $600 haircut.

According to one witness, “Hillary’s entourage was blocking traffic early this morning, and waiting as Hillary got her hair done before heading up to do an event at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.”

Clinton gets her hair done at the John Barrett Salon by John Barrett personally, who we previously reported charges $600 for a haircut, plus an extra $600 for color.

Reader Silby emailed us this, eh, unique reaction:

Not only is she a liar and a cheat, she’s a f***ing idiot!

Hillary has a $600 haircut yesterday at Bergdorfs in NYC and her limo and entourage blocked traffic for 4 blocks!! Put that f***ing ‘I’m working for the people’ bulls*** on your blog!!

Such a f***ing hypocrite. I despise her.

My haircut alone is $35. Roots and cut, $80. Roots and highlights and cut and blow-dry comes to $110.

My look kills hers.

If I spend $1,200, I better have hair that glows and has its own zip code.

F***ing $1,200 for a haircut and a color.

I guess $$$ is no object when you are in a quest for power!!

Why the hell doesn’t she spend $1,200 on Jenny Craig or Nutrisystems? How about a f***ing Zumba class? She can’t walk up the stairs without assistance, for f***’s sake!!

Or how about spending $1,200 on food for the homeless shelter in Harlem, where she can speak jive to pretend she cares about anyone other than herself?

She better not f***ing be my president. I’m going to have to go into a four-year hyper-sleep or something.

Which reminds me of what the late, great Dr. Bob once told me, presciently predicting the rise of Hillary Clinton, I guess. (For more from the author of “GRIDLOCK IN NYC SO HILLARY CAN GET A $1,200 HAIRCUT: A Female Reader Responds” please click HERE)
