A nationally-known pro-abortion activist has been arrested on charges of raping a 15-year-old boy. Terrance Patrick Bean is the founder of Human Rights Campaign, a group that pushes other political issues but also takes a steadfastly pro-abortion position.

Human Rights Campaign, in addition to advancing abortion, has also lobbied Congress to end all federal funding for abstinence education, and hailed one piece of legislation that cut off funding because it “would end abstinence-only-until-marriage programs once and for all.” Bean is also a prominent supporter of pro-abortion President Barack Obama.

The Portland Oregonian newspaper has more on Bean’s indictment, reporting that “Detectives from the Portland police Sex Crimes Unit arrested Portland developer Terrence Patrick Bean on Wednesday on a Lane County indictment stemming from alleged sex abuse involving a teenage boy in 2013.”

Bean was arrested at his home in Southwest Portland and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center yesterday morning.

Chicago Public School Teaches Fifth Graders About “Safe” Anal Sex

kids5The Andrew Jackson Language Academy, which is a public school in Chicago, is receiving criticism after parents discovered that their fifth graders were being presented with graphic sexual education curriculum. The presentation given to students included slides that were very inappropriate, and “demonstrations” of applying male and female condoms.

According to EAG News, female condoms were stressed because it can be inserted “hours before vaginal sex, so you don’t have to interrupt foreplay to be safe!” The presentation also said it is great for “Women, men, transgender folk,” and you can use if you are “gay” or “straight.”

Bill McCaffrey, a Chicago Public School spokesman, said in a statement that the “objectionable material presented at Andrew Jackson Language Academy this week is not and never was part of the student sexual education curriculum” as reported at the local NBC affiliate, the slides shown to parents are also posted at Waters Elementary School as part of the “Sexual Health Education” curriculum for “Grade 6.”

However, another school in Chicago, Walker Elementary, opted out of the condom demonstration; this makes some people believe that the presentation was in fact a part of their curriculum.

10 Awesome Perks Of Getting Married Really Young

Photo Credit: Jason Sussberg / Creative Commons

I never imagined I’d be the “type” of girl to get married young. And if that sounds judgmental and presumptuous, you’re right. I was judgmental and presumptuous about college girls wearing engagement rings, or people making life-long commitments before their 25th birthdays. I think my exact opinion was: “Pssssshh” with a somewhat disgusted look, probably rolling my eyes.

And that’s a majority opinion in his country, in this decade. While it used to be normal and expected for young women to settle down and get married before the ink dried on their high school diplomas (and in some subcultures, that’s still the case), mainstream society has taken a major shift. Young wives are widely assumed to be old-fashioned, anti-feminist, super religious, ignorantly inexperienced, destined for divorce — usually all of the above. This new societal stereotype is everywhere from whispery gossip to TV plots. A “smart and educated young lady” knows better.

Yet as life happened, I willingly signed a marriage certificate in 2008, with an 8-month-pregnant belly between us. I was 22 years old.

Six years later, I’ve had more than just my perspective shifted. I’ve grown and matured in so many ways — mostly because of things in and around my marriage. Yes, marriage is challenging and getting married at a young age sets us up for unique obstacles, but there are also little-known perks to entering marriage and adulthood roughly at the same time. It’s not all bad decisions and dead ends.

1. We grew up together.

My husband is 30 years old, but I remember him at 18. I remember him living with roommates and delivering pizzas, fresh out of high school. We’ve been together through college classes, internships, big moves, small moves, graying hair, changing bodies. We’ve watched each other launch careers and tackle goals that we once dreamed up on thrift-store furniture, in what feels like former lives.

Planned Parenthood Botches Another Abortion, Woman Rushed to Hospital After Massive Blood Loss

plannedparenthood137By Eric Scheidler.

On October 25, 2014, an ambulance was called to the massive Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Aurora, Illinois. The Pro-Life Action League obtained the audio of the 911 call through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Video of the ambulance departing Planned Parenthood was shot by a local activist.

The 911 call reveals that a client of Planned Parenthood was hemorrhaging after her abortion—a rare instance of Planned Parenthood actually admitting the medical problem they’re calling about.

Earlier this year, a 911 operator rebuked a Planned Parenthood staffer at this same facility for not providing adequate patient information. In 2012, the Planned Parenthood center in Chicago didn’t even bother to call 911 after botching an abortion on a woman named Tonya Reaves so badly that she died.

mandygittler3Abortionist Applies for Medical License, You Won’t Believe What She Left Off Her Application

By Cheryl Sullenger.

Mandy Gittler has something to hide. On July 20, 2012, she reported to work as usual at a Chicago Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. But what happened next was anything but routine.

That day, Gittler fatally botched a second trimester abortion on a young African-American woman named Tonya Reaves. While Reaves’ life ebbed away, Gittler delayed her transport to the hospital for 5½ hours. By then it was too late. Reaves died from internal injuries that had been inflicted upon her by Gittler during two consecutive incomplete abortion procedures that ruptured her uterus and caused internal hemorrhaging.

Reaves’ family sued and on January 24, 2014, they settled their malpractice case with Gittler’s employer, Planned Parenthood of Illinois, for the significant amount of $2 million, most of which will be paid to Reaves’ surviving young son, Alvin Jones, III, throughout his life.

That incident is certainly not the kind of thing that an abortionist wants on his or her resume.

Later, Gittler shut down her private Chicago abortion facility and took her abortion act on the road, hiring on at a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and an independent abortion facility in Peoria, Illinois.

Washington, D.C.’s WUSA9 reported on an event First Lady Michelle Obama hosted in honor of military children. The event, which consisted of local high school students, included pro-life hip-hop star Common as a special guest. At the White House event “documenting the impact of music throughout the course of history,” Common admitted, “Our music can really change the perspective of someone’s life.” He explained, “I honestly had a song about abortion and I’ve had people come to me and say that song was the reason why I decided to have my child.”

Cashier Tells Mom of Toddler With Down Syndrome: “Bet You Wish You Knew Before He Came Out”

Most unborn children diagnosed in the womb with Down syndrome are aborted and never given a chance to live their lives.

Part of the problem is a culture that wrongly believes people with Down syndrome are less valuable than others. An incident at a store where a mother of a two-year-old with the genetic condition had to deal with a cashier prejudiced against children with Down syndrome reinforced that problematic pro-abortion stereotype.

A blogger named Sherry wrote on her blog about an incident with her two-year-old son Gabe [above], who has Down syndrome. Sherry wrote on her blog “Hand Me Downs”that she was tempted to punch the employee but she delivered a more appropriate response:

Sometimes I forget that our son has Down syndrome. It’s easy to be distracted by his two year old tantrums, his mischievous smile and go getter attitude. Gabe is kind hearted but stubborn.

Sometimes I forget, and that makes it even harder when someone reminds me in a not so kind way….

An InstyMeds vending machine has been installed on Arizona State University’s campus, allowing any student or university employee to pick up prescription drugs from the dispenser.

Any ASU student or university employee who receives a prescription from ASU health services will be able to simply walk to the school’s Health Services Building and use a voucher with identification to receive their meds, KPNX-TV reports. The prescription drug vending machine fills the service left unavailable after the school’s pharmacy closed in September.

“This is a great solution for students who want to access their medications right after their appointment,” said Christiana Moore, a health services spokeswoman.

“Serving the health-care needs of our students is still our highest priority. We believe the measures we have taken will help our students with their prescription needs,” said Allan Markus, director of ASU Health Services, in a statement at the time the school’s pharmacy closed.

Angry Mom Finds School Worksheet Portraying Muslims as More Faithful Than Christians

A mother in Union County, North Carolina, told WJZY-TV that her son, a freshman at Porter Ridge High School, brought home a worksheet on Islam containing some questionable answers.
