Major Journal Retracts Study on ‘Socially Contagious’ Transgenderism Among Kids Following Activist Threats

Springer’s Archives of Sexual Behavior is retracting a major academic paper that explores the “socially contagious” aspect of youth transgenderism following threats from transgender activists, according to documents reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The paper, titled “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria: Parent Reports on 1655 Possible Cases,” found that children who suddenly adopted transgender identities in adolescence skewed heavily female and frequently had preexisting mental health issues. The journal has claimed the retraction is due to researchers’ failure to obtain written informed consent from survey participants, but Dr. Michael Bailey, one of the study’s authors, disputes this explanation and believes the journal is caving to pressure from activists.

“These were parents concerned about their children, concerned enough to take a not-brief survey about the issues. Why would they do this if they didn’t think the information would somehow be made available?” Bailey told the DCNF. He shared a screenshot of the survey which told parents explicitly that their answers would be published and used for research.

“Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey,” the survey read, according to the screenshot. “Your answers will help us gain a better understanding of which children are more vulnerable to Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria and what we can do to help them better. Hillary: ‘Ultra-MAGA’ Florida ‘Isn’t Safe for People of Color, LGBTQ+,’ or Even Disney

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declared on her Twitter account that Florida is not safe for “people of color” nor “LGBTQ+” people under Governor Ron DeSantis.

Clinton also took a moment to call the state “Ultra-MAGA” and attached news clippings about Disney and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People that were critical of Florida.

The first headline, “Civil rights groups warn tourists about traveling to Florida,” is in reference to an Associated Press article that cited the NAACP’s declaration that Florida is unsafe for black people.

The NAACP board of directors claimed the advisory is necessary to combat Florida’s “aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.”

“Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals. Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color,” the advisory stated. Dodgers Apologize to Drag Queens Dressed as Nuns, Reinvite Them to Pride Night

. . .[T]he drag-queen group known as the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is back on again at Dodgers Stadium.

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Monday that the team will stick to the original plan to honor the drag queens who dress like Catholic nuns, less than a week after disinviting them in response to pushback from conservative Catholics who accuse the group of mocking their religion.

The team also apologized to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which describes itself as a “leading-edge Order of queer and trans nuns,” after a backlash from activists, politicians and LGBTQ groups outraged by the decision to exclude the drag-performance group from Pride Night.

“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families,” the Dodgers said in a statement.

Judge in Abortion Pill Case Asks if Mother’s Day Is ‘Celebrating Illness’

A federal appeals court judge on Wednesday questioned a lawyer for Danco, the manufacturer of the brand name abortion pill mifepristone, about whether Mother’s Day is “celebrating illness,” during oral arguments over the drug’s approval.

Judge James Ho, an appointee of former President Trump, expressed doubts about the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) use of an expedited process to approve mifepristone more than 20 years ago. The accelerated approval process is typically reserved for medications used to treat serious or life-threatening illnesses.

“Pregnancy is not a serious illness,” Ho said, later adding, “When we celebrated Mother’s Day, were we celebrating illness?”

Danco lawyer Jessica Ellsworth rejected this premise, noting that the FDA has used the words “illness,” “condition” and “disease” interchangeably when discussing the rule for expedited approval.

Pulitzer Prize Goes to Queer Troll Author: ‘Sissy Porn Did Make Me Trans,’ ‘Getting F**Ked Makes You Female’

The Pulitzer Prizes embraced the transgender agenda in a major way this year by awarding transgender “woman” Andrea Long Chu with the prize for criticism, recognizing “her” book reviews that have appeared in Vox Media-owned New York magazine and its site, Vulture.

But since the awards were announced this month, Chu’s win has spawned a growing backlash among women who have expressed both bewilderment and disgust, especially over Chu’s past writings in which he has claimed that anyone can be a woman and and described how pornography addiction led to his desire to become a “woman.”

“Sissy porn did make me trans,” Chu once wrote. . .

For starters, Chu is a heterosexual man who identifies as a woman, though he has called himself a “trans lesbian.” By one account, the Duke University and NYU graduate’s birth name was Andrew. Even before joining New York magazine in 2021, he was a darling of the cultural elite due to this essays on feminism and gender transitioning.

He received wide acclaim for his 2019 book Females in which he delves into detail about what kinds of porn he likes to masturbate to. One of his favorite genres is “sissy porn,” which involves men wearing women’s underwear and being forced into submissive or feminine roles. Illegal Alien Arrested for Allegedly Dumping Newborn Baby in Hospital Trash Can

A migrant woman was arrested on Saturday after she was accused of dumping her newborn baby in a hospital trash can.

Lucia Garcia, 21, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment, according to police.

The New York Post reported that Garcia is originally from Mexico, but migrated to the United States roughly 10 months ago, and is seeking asylum. She currently lives in Staten Island with her father. Her mother still lives in Mexico.

Around 1 p.m. on Saturday, an off-duty New York Police Department officer working a side job at the Staten Island University Hospital spotted Garcia – who was soaked in blood. The NYPD officer notified his department about the blood-soaked woman.

Fat and Infertile: New Study Raises Alarm Over Link Between Obesity and Low Sperm Count

Boys who are overweight in their adolescence face a higher risk of fertility issues later in adulthood, according to a new study in the European Journal of Endocrinology.

In April, a team of Italian researchers published their findings on a study of 268 children and adolescents between the ages of roughly 2 to 18. Scientists examined the relationship between weight, testicular volume, and insulin resistance. Male minors who were overweight or obese, they found, had lower testicular volume (TV), which is associated with lower sperm count.

“Childhood and adolescence represent an important time widow for testicular development,” researchers reported. “Therefore, these phases should be considered a critical moment for the prevention of andrological diseases that may arise later in life.”

The team concluded that “children and adolescents with overweight/obesity, hyperinsulinemia, and insulin resistance have lower TVs than their age-matched controls.” In other words, children and adolescents with excess weight and an abnormal insulin response were found to have lower testicular volume and thus likely lower sperm production.

The study’s findings contribute to the overwhelming research that points to obesity as the root cause of the West’s health crisis. Falling testosterone levels, a primary hormone for metabolic function, might even be a primary driver behind obesity in men today. Male testosterone levels have plummeted by double digits since the 1980s and remain in steep decline as endocrine-disrupting chemicals saturate the environment. Texas Children’s Hospital Performs Sex Change Procedures on Children as Young as 11: Report

The country’s largest children’s hospital performs sex change procedures on children as young as 11, according to a new report.

Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston inserted an implantable puberty blocker in multiple children, including at least one 11-year-old, according to whistleblower documents obtained by City Journal’s Christopher Rufo.

In March of last year, Texas Children’s Hospital executives said they would stop performing transgender medical procedures on minors due to legal and criminal liability concerns. Texas Governor Greg Abbott had just directed state agencies to investigate cases of children receiving transgender medical intervention as “child abuse.”

Around the same time, the hospital’s chief pediatrician, Dr. Catherine Gordon, who specialized in treating transgender youth, resigned after only six months on the job.

Progressive Pro-Lifer’s Mom Gets a Home Visit From FBI Karens

Two female Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents descended upon the doorstep of Tracy Ketch, the mother of progressive pro-life activist Elise Ketch, last month. In a conversation publicized by The Daily Signal, the agents, Ashley Roberts and Kathleen Brown, asked Tracy if they could talk to Elise.

“We just need to speak with [Elise] regarding some information that was sent to us,” Roberts told Tracy. The agents asked for Elise’s address or phone number after learning she no longer lives at her mother’s house. “She’s not in any trouble,” Roberts said, adding that she couldn’t tell Tracy what their visit was about but that she shouldn’t worry because “it’s nothing.”

When Tracy asked to take pictures of their badges, Roberts stated, “Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to have anyone take our pictures.”

“I have two FBI agents at the front door,” Tracy told her daughter over the phone in front of the agents. “FBI agents?” Elise repeated, causing Roberts to break into a smile. “Mom, don’t tell them anything,” Elise instructed her mother. Tracy then gestured for the agents to leave the porch.

According to Kyle Seraphin, the former FBI agent who exposed the agency for targeting traditional Catholics, Roberts was assigned to “domestic terrorism” as of last fall and was incessantly harassing an FBI whistleblower and his wife. Adidas ‘Pride 2023’ Women’s Swimsuits Appear to Be Modeled by a Man

Adidas this week launched its “Pride 2023” swimwear collection, advertising bathing suits on its web site under the “women’s” section with the help of a model that appeared to be male.

One of the bathing suits — a colorful one-piece called the “Pride Swimsuit” that was being advertised for $70 — was being shown off by an apparently male model who also was also displaying a noticeable bulge in the crotch area.

An accompanying video on Adidas’ site shows the model sashaying in the one-piece, with the camera at one point zooming to reveal a patch of chest hair rising above the neckline.

It was unclear if the model identifies as a male or is transgender.
