One Question May Reveal Whether Your Body is Getting the Rest it Needs, Study Finds

Feeling older than your actual age could be a sign that you’re not getting enough quality sleep, according to new research.

A study led by researchers at the National Sleep Foundation and published in the journal Sleep found that adults who felt older than their chronological age were more likely to report insomnia symptoms, irregular sleep patterns and daytime fatigue.

The study involved more than 3,100 adults, who were asked a simple question: “How old do you feel?”

Researchers then compared participants’ answers with measures of sleep quality, sleep consistency and daytime functioning.

People who felt older than their actual age consistently reported poorer sleep and greater sleep-related impairment than those who felt younger or closer to their chronological age.

Researchers also found that people who felt older than their age were more likely to report poorer physical health. (Read more from “One Question May Reveal Whether Your Body is Getting the Rest it Needs, Study Finds” HERE)

Pastor Breaks Unofficial World Record by Preaching for 96 Hours: ‘Jesus Is Worthy’

A Baptist pastor with a deep thirst for the Bible has reportedly broken an unofficial record by preaching for 96 hours at his church in Jones County, Mississippi.

Pastor Matt Olson of First Baptist Church of Sharon recently preached through the entire Bible from the book of Genesis to Revelation over a four-day period, Fox News reported Sunday.

“Jesus is Lord. He is worthy of every sentence I preached, every sacrifice that was made, and every step of obedience that has been taken since,” Olson told the outlet, noting it was all about proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The pastor and his team used the Guinness World Record format, and WDAM reported June 1 that Olson took minimal breaks during the preaching marathon.

Video footage from Protestia showed Olson’s concluding statement when he declared, “Jesus is worthy.” The congregation then gave him a standing ovation:

Common Medicine Found in Millions of Homes Now Being Abused by Teens, Data Shows

America’s youth have been increasingly abusing common over-the-counter medications, according to poison center records.

A health advisory from America’s Poison Centers, representing 53 poison centers across the country, alerted a “concerning rise” in cases of diphenhydramine abuse among teens ages 13 to 19.

Diphenhydramine is commonly found in allergy and sleep medications such as Benadryl and Zzzquil, as mentioned in the advisory.

From 2024 to 2025, the total exposure to any substance among teens in this age group reportedly increased by 5.1%.

But cases involving diphenhydramine alone increased more rapidly, from 10,068 to 13,284 cases, a 32% spike. (Read more from “Common Medicine Found in Millions of Homes Now Being Abused by Teens, Data Shows” HERE)

Judge Sentences Gay Couple Who Sexually Abused, Murdered Adopted Baby. What Happens To Those Who Ignored Red Flags?

British teacher Jamie Varley, 37, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Thursday for the sexual abuse and murder of 13-month-old Preston Davey.

Varley and his partner, 32-year-old John McGowan-Fazakerley, reportedly adopted Davey in April 2023, when the child was nine months old. McGowan-Fazakerley was given a 25-year sentence for sexual abuse, child cruelty, and “allowing the death of a child,” according to The Guardian. Such a sentence seems inadequate for the evil acts in which McGowan-Fazakerley participated. The men reportedly denied all charges.

The details of the case are sickening.

Davey was reportedly taken from his biological mother, Sarah Davey, five days after his birth. His mother, now 42, was sentenced to jail at 14 for the torture and murder of a retiree, according to The Spectator’s Melanie McDonagh.

In a victim impact statement, Sarah Davey reportedly told the men who tortured her son: “He relied entirely on you — the adults responsible for him — to love him, care for him, and keep him safe. Instead, you caused him suffering. You took away his chance to grow up, to go to school, to make friends, to live a full life. You took everything from him.” (Read more from “Judge Sentences Gay Couple Who Sexually Abused, Murdered Adopted Baby. What Happens To Those Who Ignored Red Flags?” HERE)

Parents Of Aborted Child Say Baby Was Born Alive, Trafficked For Organ Harvesting

A couple says their five-month-old infant was delivered alive at an abortion clinic in New Jersey — then trafficked for fetal organ harvesting. They named the little girl Clementine.

Their allegations are detailed in the Center for Medical Progress’ new documentary, “What Happened to Clementine?” Filmmakers interviewed Tommy Kearns, Clementine’s father, and Clementine’s mother, who has chosen to remain anonymous.

Clementine’s parents are wondering: Where is their child?

Kearns told the Daily Caller: “If Clementine’s scalp is growing on the back of a lab rat, then the question is not scientific. It is about our child. How long is her hair? What color is her hair? She is not a tissue sample, she is a person.”

Kearns added that he’s “looking at this as a kidnapping.”

“I want to know where her body is. Any experiments that they are doing to her are illegal and need to be stopped.”

Three Children Shot near Public Pool in Small Town, Suspect Taken into Custody

Multiple children were shot over the weekend after gunfire broke out near a recreational public pool in Stuttgart, Arkansas, authorities said.

Officers responded Saturday just before 5 p.m. local time to reports of shots fired at John Cain Aquatic Center, the Stuttgart Police Department said in a statement.

Three children suffered gunshot wounds and were rushed to a local hospital, according to police. One child suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, though police did not elaborate on the injuries of the other two children who were shot.

A suspect was taken into custody within minutes of the incident with help from the Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office, police said in a social media post.

“At this time, no names will be released, as all parties involved are juveniles,” the department noted.

In a statement on Facebook, the John Cain Aquatic Center said the aquatic center will be closed “until further notice.” (Read more from “Three Children Shot near Public Pool in Small Town, Suspect Taken into Custody” HERE)

Karmelo Anthony’s Parents Use First Interviews Since Guilty Verdict To Cast Themselves As The Real Victims

Karmelo Anthony’s parents used their first interviews after their son’s murder conviction to claim that he had received an unfair trial and that all the witnesses had lied on the stand.

In interviews with CBS News and The Breakfast Club, Kala Hayes and Andrew Anthony, Karmelo’s parents, told the public that they believed the jury had made up their minds before even stepping foot into the courtroom, essentially convicting their son of Austin Metcalf’s murder before any evidence was heard.

“He was convicted when he walked out of the jail,” Anthony told CBS. “It was no innocent ’til proven guilty. He was already guilty.”

They told the story supposedly from their son’s perspective, who said his girlfriend’s cousin had invited him into the tent where Austin Metcalf was. Then they said the same cousin claimed not to know their son when he took the stand.

“He lied and was saying he didn’t even know [him], and they had pictures, pictures with his grandmother,” Anthony told The Breakfast Club. (Read more from “Karmelo Anthony’s Parents Use First Interviews Since Guilty Verdict To Cast Themselves As The Real Victims” HERE)

California Cult ‘Prophet’ Learns Fate for Vile Sex Crimes — and the Loophole that Could Set Him Free Early

A Northern California cult “prophet” has been sentenced to life behind bars for molesting four young girls and raping two of his female adult followers, but a loophole in state law could set him go free much earlier.

The Oroville cult leader Sansue Bee Vang was sentenced to 225 years to life after being found guilty of eight counts of child molestation and three counts of rape, according to the Butte County District Attorney’s office. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender.

Vang is the founder and leader of the Hmong religious organization called Kev Ntseeg Leej Niam Kee Tiam Vaj Lis Thum, which loosely translated means “Belief in Mother.”

In 2020 he built his temple and community in the town at the base of North Table Mountain, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas.

The cult leader, with connections to Wisconsin and Fresno, recruited families from both locations along with North Carolina and Minnesota to establish his religious community.

The DA shared horrific details at trial about what Vang did to his female followers, young and old. (Read more from “California Cult ‘Prophet’ Learns Fate for Vile Sex Crimes — and the Loophole that Could Set Him Free Early” HERE)

Tragic New Detail Emerges in Death of 5-year-old Swept out to Sea by Massive Wave

The 5-year-old San Bernardino girl who was swept out to sea by a massive wave in Laguna Beach this week was set to start kindergarten later this summer, school officials said.

Amada Mia Brown, who died after being caught in the powerful surf battering California’s coast Tuesday night, was scheduled to begin kindergarten in the San Bernardino City Unified School District in August, Communications Manager Maria Garcia told The California Post.

“We mourn Amada’s loss and hold her family in our thoughts during this difficult time,” Garcia said.

Amada was also set to attend a new student orientation next month, Garcia added.

The young girl vanished Tuesday evening after powerful waves pulled her, her mother and her brother into the ocean near the shoreline at Treasure Island Beach.

Heroic bystanders who took to the rough water managed to rescue Amada’s mother and brother, but Amada was carried out to sea. (Read more from “Tragic New Detail Emerges in Death of 5-year-old Swept out to Sea by Massive Wave” HERE)

Target Recalls Baby Wipes Due to Potential Microbial Contamination

Target is voluntarily recalling popular baby wipes that are sold nationwide and online, due to concerns of potential microbial contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Friday.

Target issued a recall of Up & Up Fragrance Free and Up & Up Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes after complaints from customers about product discoloration and after the FDA tested the products and found Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli.

“Use of products contaminated with Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioi may result in serious and life-threatening infections. The products are predominantly used on newborns, infants, and young children, who are particularly vulnerable to opportunistic infection due to their immature immune systems,” the FDA said in its announcement.

“In healthy individuals, use of the product on skin with minor lesions will more likely result in local infections, whereas in immunocompromised individuals, newborns, infants and young children, the infection is more likely to spread into the bloodstream, potentially leading to life-threatening sepsis or pneumonia,” the agency continued.
