Boy with Cancer Loses Coverage After Obamacare Launch (+video)

Photo Credit: WNDHunter Alford is the happy kid next door with a big grin who idolizes country music star Blake Shelton.

His parents call him a “wild, fun loving, zombie-killing boy who loves the military and police.”

He is normal in every way, except this 7-year-old already plays guitar and keyboards and has his heart set on learning to fiddle. Something else sets Hunter apart.

He was born with a rare form of cancer and lost his health insurance just after Obamacare went into effect.

Americans were told the health-care law was designed to help children just like Hunter, born with a deadly pre-existing condition and little means to pay for expensive treatments.

Healthy Teenage Boy Died After Routine Flu Shot (+video)

Photo Credit: Fox and Friends A heartbroken Utah mother shared her story on Fox and Friends this morning following the death of her 19-year-old son.

Chandler Webb became severely ill the day after receiving his first ever flu shot in October. Lori Webb said her son started vomiting and shaking, so she took him to a hospital in Salt Lake City.

One day later he fell into a coma and was taken off life support after 28 days.

Webb now questions whether the routine vaccine was responsible for the death of her son, who was set to depart on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She says doctors tested her son for many diseases, even rabies, but didn’t consider that the flu vaccination could have been a factor until “the very end.”

When Abortion Hits Home

Photo Credit: LifeNewsFeminist author and blogger Jessica Valenti, known for (among other things) advocating free abortions on demand and without apology, recently wrote an apology for her own abortion. Yet, she couldn’t even use the word. Instead, Valenti’s essay poignantly describes the dire medical circumstances surrounding her unplanned pregnancy, her adoring love for the toddler she already has, the loss of her hope to provide her daughter with a sister, and the traditions she has cultivated around the family table to pass on to her child, such as Sunday sauce.

So it is here, it seems—at the family table—that abortion has finally arrived in its collective meaning for all of us. The semiotics of abortion in American culture has evolved, and with it the images that give its meaning power: from the dark, dirty alley; to the clean, well-lighted clinic; and now, to the warm glow of the family dining room.

Nearly every table set for the family gathering at Thanksgiving this year will have a missing place, if not two or more, since one in three women in America now has an abortion by age 45; the majority of these self-identify as Christian. Even in the church, abortion is no longer something that affects “other” people; it affects us all. The volume of abortions has grown so astronomically high today that it’s virtually impossible not to be intimately acquainted with someone who has had one, explains Olivia Gans Turner, director of American Victims of Abortion. It’s statistically unlikely that our own families have been untouched by abortion. Abortion hits home for all of us.

Still, it too often goes unacknowledged, even unknown, in our own families. “We’re not going to discuss it over pumpkin pie,” she said. Yet trusted loved ones should be those most welcoming to women (and men) needing to share an abortion experience. Turner founded her outreach after going through acute distress following her own abortion as a college student. My friend Debbie, who had an abortion at 22 when she was homeless, jobless, and penniless, says her healing didn’t begin until she was able to “surrender the secret in a safe place.”

In a recent New York Magazine article, “My Abortion,” 26 women surrendered to millions of readers the moving stories of their abortions. Abortion, according to the introduction to their stories, “is something we tend to be more comfortable discussing as an abstraction; the feelings it provokes are too complicated to face in all their particularities.” It’s an issue yet to be resolved “in our consciences.”

Man Attacks, Threatens to Shoot Pro-Life Activist Outside Abortion Clinic

Photo Credit: Life News An angry man jumped out of his vehicle and threatened to shoot pro-life activist Mark Gietzen, who had offered to help him as he left a woman for an abortion at the South Wind Women’s Center abortion clinic, located inside a building where George Tiller once operated in Wichita, Kansas.

Gietzen, Director of the Kansas Coalition for Life, was setting up a pro-life display early on Thursday, November 21, when the man drove into the abortion clinic parking lot and dropped off a woman. As he left, Gietzen offered him pro-life literature and urged the man to go back and bring the mother of his baby out of the clinic.

As the man lunged at Gietzen, a clinic security guard, who happened to be nearby, intervened. According to Gietzen, the security guard “attacked [the man] from behind, locking both of his arms around the young man’s arms and torso, and lifted him off the ground in a full-body hug.”

Gietzen called the police but the man had already fled by the time they arrived. As the police were taking Gietzen’s statement, the man returned and was detained by police. It is unknown at this time if the man was actually charged. Wichita Police Officer G. R. Morris issued Gietzen a case number: 13C77676.

Not Verified: 60 Year Old Woman Shoots 2 of 7 ‘Knock Out’ Attackers

Photo Credit: Free Patriot [***After investigating this story, Restoring Liberty can find no police report or other direct source validating the Free Patriot’s excerpt below. We will continue to look into this and, if we discover additional information, will update this column***]

Beulah Montgomery had just turned 60 the day before, when she was approached by 7 young punks playing Knock Out. One of them hit her and a second was attempting to hit her, so she reached for her gun. She fired 5 times and two of the young men fell down dead. One was hit in the stomach and one in the chest. The other five ran off after finding out their elderly victim was less than helpless. Montgomery had been mugged before and started carrying a gun for protection. The move paid off.

“All I could feel was pain and I said to myself I had made it to 60 and I wanted to at least see 61. Then I started praying and I asked the Lord to guide my hands.”

Beulah is a member of the neighborhood watch (uh oh, I can see an Al Sharpton moment coming on) and says that she always carries a gun now after being robbed once before….

Expert Testifies: Common Core Causing Self Mutilation (+video)

Photo Credit: YouTube Mary Calamia of Stony Brook, New York is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She recently testified at the Suffolk County Education Forum hosted by the New York State Assembly Minority Education Committee on the increase in self-mutilation and other behaviors, particularly among honor students, since the Common Core was implemented.

According to Calmia and other clinicians, the Common Core attempts to have students perform activities that are not developmentally appropriate. It isn’t as much the material as it is what students are expected to do with the material that falls outside the developmental norms for the age group in which the material is directed.

In her opinion, much of this self-mutilation is induced by the stress of repeated testing and the nature of the questions in testing. The prefrontal cortex is not fully developed in young children, yet the kind of questions common core asks children requires a developed prefrontal cortex. Because of the lack of neurodevelopment, the child’s mind will tap into the limbic system where fear and anger rule the logic. The result is series of destructive behaviors, including self-mutilation.

The text of her testimony tracks closely to her oral presentation, but there are some minor differences in words. Her testimony is haunting, and a reminder that children are not miniature adults.

Remember the old public service announcement “this is your brain on drugs” that showed an egg being fried? Well, one could make an add “this is your child on Common Core” with what clinicians are seeing in their practices in places where Common Core is in full implementation.

Boston Children’s Hospital Kidnaps Teen Girl for 10 Months, Holds her as Prisoner While Threatening Parents

Photo Credit: Natural News A 15-year-old Connecticut girl remains held by Boston Children’s Hospital, a victim of the hospital’s “kidnap and ransom” operation, traditionally called “K&R.” K&R is not usually seen in hospitals, and that’s what makes this story so bizarre and disturbing.

Boston Children’s Hospital kidnapped the teen girl from her Connecticut family nearly 10 months ago under the excuse of a contrived medical diagnosis. Through legal maneuvering, the hospital managed to gain legal custody of the girl, and the “ransom demand” is the demand that the parents stop trying to remove the girl from the hospital so that Boston Children’s can generate maximum revenue from so-called “treatments” which have so far accomplished nothing.

“It is kidnapping,” said the girl’s father, Lou Pelletier. “It’s beyond any wildest nightmare that you could think of.”

The clinical psychologist known by the family says, “It’s the most bizarre situation … I’ve ever been involved with.”

After the contrived diagnosis by the hospital, both parents “were escorted out of the hospital by security, and within four days, they lost custody of Justina,” reports FoxCT.com.
