Democrats’ Jan. 6 Committee Seeks Phone Records of Private Citizens

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s weaponized committee on Jan. 6, 2020 has subpoenaed phone records from private citizens, say Republicans familiar with the investigation.

“That committee has moved forward with issuing subpoenas to telephone companies,” a Republican aide told The Federalist. “Our understanding at this point is they have not subpoenaed member information, but they are subpoenaing telephone records of private American citizens.”

The reveal follows a CNN report in August that the House Select Committee requested telecommunications companies maintain phone records of members on Capitol Hill and of former President Donald Trump’s family. Republicans say none have been formally subpoenaed.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy threatened companies that comply with a records turnover to Democrats’ partisan probe. Doing so, McCarthy said, would be “in violation of federal law and subject to losing their ability to operate in the United States.”

Elon Musk Takes Another Shot at Joe Biden: Should Be Age Limits for Elected Officials

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently took a shot at President Joe Biden, suggesting the introduction of an age limit of “just below 70” for elected officials.

The Byte reports that SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has taken another shot at President Joe Biden, this time joking about the President’s age. “Let’s set an age limit after which you can’t run for political office, perhaps a number just below 70,” Musk tweeted. . .

In September, Musk mocked Biden after a user noted that the President had failed to acknowledge the Inspiration4 mission’s success. One of Musk’s Twitter followers asked him: “The President of the United States has refused to even acknowledge the 4 newest American astronauts who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for St. Jude. What’s your theory on why that is?” (Read more from “Elon Musk Takes Another Shot at Joe Biden: Should Be Age Limits for Elected Officials” HERE)

Poll: Biden Approval Among Young Voters Sees Double-Digit Drop

A recent Harvard poll found that Joe Biden’s approval rating among young people has fallen 13 points since spring, with his overall disapproval rate now at 51%. He saw a double-digit drop among Democrats and Independents.

The poll, conducted by Harvard Public Opinion Project, surveyed adults ages 18-29 about a number of key political opinions. Overall, 2,109 people were polled throughout Fall 2021.

Biden’s approval among the demographic was nearing 60% back in March, but that has dropped as he has a 51% disapproval rate among the same group now.

“The slippage is consistent with other polling, which portrays an across-the-board polling rut for the president,” Politico reported, “ And it’s a warning sign ahead of next year’s midterm elections, when Democrats will be trying to convince younger voters — who are more likely to sit out non-presidential elections — to show up at the polls.”

The president’s popularity as a whole across the country hasn’t been much better. One recent poll out of Utah found that nearly two thirds of Utahns disapprove of Biden. (Read more from “Poll: Biden Approval Among Young Voters Sees Double-Digit Drop” HERE)

Press Pass: Psaki Changes Topics When Asked About China During WH Briefing

White House press secretary Jen Psaki abruptly changed the subject Friday when asked about President Joe Biden’s lack of pressure on China to be transparent about the origins of COVID-19 —instead offering an update on a recent spate of organized looting in California.

“It’s been more than two weeks since President Biden had a call with [Chinese President] Xi [Jinping],” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy began during the regular briefing, “and on that call, we know that he did not press him to help with the COVID origins investigation because you said that Xi just understands he’s supposed to be transparent.

“So in the two-plus weeks since, has he helped and been transparent?” Doocy asked.

“I don’t believe that’s exactly what I said,” Psaki responded. “I believe what I said is that we have pressed for this repeatedly, we will continue to and we’ll continue to do that at a range of levels. I don’t unfortunately have any updates on the participation or willingness of the Chinese to add and provide additional data.”

At that point, Psaki turned to Biden administration efforts to address smash-and-grab looting by large groups of people, which has particularly impacted Los Angeles and San Francisco. (Read more from “Press Pass: Psaki Changes Topics When Asked About China During WH Briefing” HERE)

Americans Actually Hate Woke Corporate Activism

According to a new study conducted by the Brunswick Group, Americans are decidedly against woke corporations delving into politics and overwhelmingly view corporate activism as self-serving phony panderism used for marketing and manipulation.

Consumers have made it exceedingly clear that they don’t approve of actions such as Disney firing actress Gina Carano, the censorship of Dr. Seuss’ books, or Amazon pulling a documentary about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Many have protested by ditching companies that pull these kinds of stunts but corporations don’t seem to be getting the message.

Ajaw-dropping 63 percent of corporate executives “agree unequivocally that companies should speak out on social issues.” But their politicized viewpoints don’t align with those of voters. Only 36 percent agree with them. Corporate leaders also seem to have “a highly inflated sense of how effective corporate communication has been on social issues compared to voters,” according to the study.

Unbelievably, 74 percent of business executives actually think corporate activism is effective. Voters don’t see it that way… only 39 percent believe it works.

According to the study, the virtue-signaling by corporations doesn’t make a lot of sense considering they spend billions on marketing campaigns to project their wokeness and people see it as inauthentic and hypocritical. (Read more from “Americans Actually Hate Woke Corporate Activism” HERE)

Trial Day 4: Epstein’s Former Housekeeper: Ghislaine Maxwell Was ‘Lady of the House’; Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Black Book Makes Its Courtroom Debut

By New York Post. Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime housekeeper on Thursday testified that Ghislaine Maxwell was the “lady of the house” at the powerful pedophile’s Florida mansion — and that countless young women hung out there, including two who appeared to be minors.

Juan Alessi dished about working for the late financier in Palm Beach for more than a decade, telling a Manhattan jury he saw “many, many, many females” in their 20s socializing with Epstein and Maxwell, usually topless.

Alessi recalled seeing two girls who appeared to be minors over the course of his employment, which ended in 2002. He identified one of the two as “Jane,” — a Maxwell accuser who testified earlier this week — describing her as a “striking, beautiful” girl who looked to be around 14 or 15.

The other minor, Alessi said, was Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who has accused both Epstein and Maxwell of sex-trafficking her when she was a teenager.

Alessi described how Maxwell first met Giuffre in the parking lot of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, where she ordered him to stop the car so she could hop out to talk to the young blonde. (Read more from “Epstein’s Former Housekeeper: Ghislaine Maxwell Was ‘Lady of the House’” HERE)

Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Black Book Makes Its Courtroom Debut

By Slate. On day four of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, government exhibit 52 made its much anticipated debut. This is Jeffrey Epstein’s “little black book”—the telephone directory containing names and numbers for a huge roster of Epstein’s wealthy and powerful friends, and also, presumably, some of the people who’ve accused him of crimes.

The book was introduced as the prosecution’s witness Juan Alessi was on the stand. Alessi was the butler/driver/go-fer at Epstein’s Palm Beach house from around 1991 until 2002. He described the decadent atmosphere around the mansion, which he said was run “like a five-star hotel.” He was expected to keep wads of hundred dollar bills stocked in each of Epstein’s cars at all times. He said there were many women who hung around Epstein’s pool, and that they were topless “75-80 percent of the time.” He said Maxwell, who he called the “lady of the house,” took many photos of these topless women, and displayed them in frames on her desk there. He also said it was obvious that Maxwell was in charge of running the household. And she slept in Epstein’s bedroom, with Epstein. . .

A lot of these details were vital to the prosecution’s case. But for the story beyond the story—the curiosity around Jeffrey Epstein, how he got his wealth, what he knew about his famous friends—the little black book was the real object of interest. A prosecutor took it out of its own dedicated accordion file, handed it around for the defense team and judge to inspect, and then brought it up to Alessi on the witness stand. He identified it as the kind of address book that would be at Epstein’s house, and he said he recognized many of the entries.

Before the start of the trial, NPR reported that prosecutors say the information in the book “will help establish who and what Maxwell knew—including ‘an inference that the defendant knew that at least some of these individuals were minors.’” But we got no juicy details from the little black book today. No boldface names. It’s possible we never will. The prosecution seems to want to put a heavily redacted version of it into evidence. There were long sidebar arguments about what could be admitted, and why. As the lawyers jawed at each other, Alessi, still on the stand, just casually flipped through the book’s pages, perusing them with interest. CIA Files Say Staffers Committed Sex Crimes Involving Children. They Weren’t Prosecuted.

Over the past 14 years, the Central Intelligence Agency has secretly amassed credible evidence that at least 10 of its employees and contractors committed sexual crimes involving children.

Though most of these cases were referred to US attorneys for prosecution, only one of the individuals was ever charged with a crime. Prosecutors sent the rest of the cases back to the CIA to handle internally, meaning few faced any consequences beyond the possible loss of their jobs and security clearances. That marks a striking deviation from how sex crimes involving children have been handled at other federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Administration. CIA insiders say the agency resists prosecution of its staff for fear the cases will reveal state secrets. . .

One employee had sexual contact with a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old. He was fired. A second employee purchased three sexually explicit videos of young girls, filmed by their mothers. He resigned. A third employee estimated that he had viewed up to 1,400 sexually abusive images of children while on agency assignments. The records do not say what action, if any, the CIA took against him. A contractor who arranged for sex with an undercover FBI agent posing as a child had his contract revoked.

Only one of the individuals cited in these documents was charged with a crime. In that case, as in the only previously known case of a CIA staffer being charged with child sexual crimes, the employee was also under investigation for mishandling classified material.

The CIA did not answer detailed questions, saying only that the agency “takes all allegations of possible criminal misconduct committed by personnel seriously.” (Read more from “CIA Files Say Staffers Committed Sex Crimes Involving Children. They Weren’t Prosecuted.” HERE)

WH Dodges When Asked if Biden Should Still Be President After Presiding Over More COVID Deaths Than Trump (VIDEO)

White House press secretary Jen Psaki dodged a question on Wednesday about whether or not it is acceptable for a president to stay in office after overseeing a copious amount of U.S. deaths from the Chinese coronavirus.

As Breitbart News reported last week, the U.S. death toll from the Chinese coronavirus under Biden’s administration will soon surpass the death toll recorded during Trump’s administration, and in less time.

Additionally, during an October 2020 presidential debate between Biden and Trump, Biden insisted that “anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths” — which at the time was at around 220,000 — “should not remain as President of the United States of America.”

When asked by Fox News’s Peter Doocy if that is “still the standard now that more Americans have died under President Biden than President Trump,” Psaki outright dodged the question.

Report: Jeffrey Epstein Visited Clinton White House at Least 17 Times

Jeffrey Epstein visited the White House at least 17 times in the early years of President Bill Clinton’s administration, according to a new report published Thursday.

Visitor logs show the wealthy convicted pedophile — who died from an apparent suicide in his jail cell in 2019 – even visited the Clinton White House twice on the same day three different times, The Daily Mail reported.

In one visit on Sept. 29, 1993, Epstein attended an event where he and his alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell were photographed alongside Clinton after the financier donated $10,000 to help renovate the building.

It’s not clear if Epstein, who killed himself in his jail cell in 2019, actually met or interacted with Clinton during his other visits, and the former president wasn’t in the building for at least a few of Epstein’s trips there, the Mail said.

The visitor logs, obtained by the Mail through a request with the Clinton Presidential library, showed Epstein first visiting the White House on Feb. 25, 1993 – a little more than a month after the Democrat first took office. During that visit, his destination was listed as “WW” — apparently the West Wing – and his invitation was issued by “Rubin,” according to the report.
