Dr. Fauci Skips Donald Trump Coronavirus Vaccine Event, Attends Biden Press Event

Dr. Anthony Fauci skipped President Donald Trump’s event celebrating the development of a coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday.

A Trump administration official told Breitbart News on Monday that Fauci wanted to attend the event but would not do so due to a “scheduling conflict.”

The long-term director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases revealed Tuesday afternoon that he instead attended an event celebrating his colleague Dr. Harvey Alter getting the Nobel Prize of Medicine.

Several public health officials did attend Trump’s event at the White House, including White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Ambassador Deborah Birx, M.D., Director of the Centers for Disease Control Dr. Robert Redfield, Chief Advisor of Operation Warp Speed Dr. Moncef Slaoui, and Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Dr. Peter Marks.

Fauci made a point, however, of sending a pre-recorded video to a press event with former Vice President Joe Biden instead, thanking him for appointing him as an advisor on fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Trump Legal Team Insists Their Deadline Is Jan. 6

Amid warnings that Tuesday marked the first “safe harbor deadline” for resolving legal challenges to the election, the Trump campaign legal team issued a statement arguing election contests historically have lasted well beyond the Dec. 8 and Dec. 14 statutory dates.

Dec. 8 is the deadline for states to certify election results before the Dec. 14 Electoral College vote.

But attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis cited the late Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s recognition in Bush v. Gore that the date of “ultimate significance” is Jan. 6.

That’s when Congress counts and certifies the votes of the Electoral College. The only fixed day in the U.S. Constitution, the legal team points out, is the inauguration of the president on Jan. 20 at noon.

“Despite the media trying desperately to proclaim that the fight is over, we will continue to champion election integrity until every legal vote is counted fairly and accurately,” they said. (Read more from “Trump Legal Team Insists Their Deadline Is Jan. 6” HERE)

Nancy Pelosi Let Millions Suffer To Win An Election

By The Federalist. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has cackled the quiet part out loud. In a statement Friday, she announced that all of a sudden, after months and months of American people and small businesses begging for relief, that she will now compromise on a $908 billion stimulus package.

Why the sudden change of heart? Because Joe Biden is the proclaimed winner of the presidential race. What is as plain as the couture mask on Nancy’s face is that she let millions suffer for one reason and one reason only, to help Joe Biden win the election. . .

Pelosi had two paths before the election, to accept the $1.8 trillion-package President Trump offered as a compromise (which last I checked was actually bigger than $908 billion) and see what happened in the election to seek more, or to stiff the American people while she got her hair done without a mask and ate expensive ice cream. She chose the latter in a cynical effort to hurt Donald Trump.

Pelosi and her sycophants will say that they had no guarantee that Trump, if reelected, would follow through with more stimulus in the new year. Even if that is true, and there is not much reason to believe it is, so what? In what universe is nothing with a chance of more later better than something with a chance of more later? It makes absolutely no sense.

Pelosi isn’t even arguing that she was delaying as a tactic to move Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to her position before the election. She knew that wouldn’t happen and she didn’t care. She refused to compromise. (Read more from “Nancy Pelosi Let Millions Suffer To Win an Election” HERE)

Pelosi Willing To Accept Smaller Relief Bill: It’s ‘Okay Now Because We Have a New President’

By Daily Wire. Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Friday that she would work with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to pass a smaller coronavirus relief package which she deemed was now okay “because we have a new president.”

“What shifted in your opinion when the Problem Solvers Caucus had a much larger bill a few months ago?” a reporter asked Pelosi. “You did not like that piece of legislation. What has shifted now when they’re on board with this piece that’s come out in the Senate?”

“Perhaps you missed what I said earlier. Joe Biden committed to ending and crushing the virus and had a build better America initiative, build back better,” Pelosi snapped back. “A vaccine, answer to our prayers. An answer to our prayers of 95% effectiveness in terms of Pfizer and Moderna and there maybe others coming forward. That is a total game changer, a new president and a vaccine.”

“This has simplicity. It’s what we’ve had in our bills,” she claimed. “It’s for a shorter period of time, but that’s okay now, because we have a new president. A president who recognizes that we need to depend on science to stop the virus. A president who understands that America’s working families need to have money in their pockets in a way that takes them into the future, without any of the contraptions of any of the other bills that the administration was associating itself with [inaudible] before.” (Read more from “Pelosi Willing To Accept Smaller Relief Bill: It’s ‘Okay Now Because We Have a New President’” HERE)

‘Exceptionally Disturbing’: Forensic Exam Shows Dominion Machine Switching Votes?; No, the Georgia Vote-Counting Video Was Not ‘Debunked.’ Not Even Close (VIDEO)

By WND. Alarm bells regarding the presidential election are now sounding in Georgia, where a U.S. congressman says a forensic test of Dominion Voting Systems machines revealed votes for President Donald Trump were being switched to votes for Democrat Joe Biden, although the claim is denied by some election officials. . .

The matter caught the attention of popular radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh on Monday, who explained, “They fed an equal number of votes for both Trump and Biden into the software, and it turns out an equal number of votes for Trump and Biden was spat out of the machine as a 26% lead for Biden.” (Read more from “‘Exceptionally Disturbing’: Forensic Exam Shows Dominion Machine Switching Votes?” HERE)

No, the Georgia Vote-Counting Video Was Not ‘Debunked.’ Not Even Close

By The Federalist. A Big Tech-backed “fact” “checking” outfit claimed to debunk explosive evidence in support of Republicans’ claims of significant election problems at a Thursday Georgia Senate hearing. It didn’t. Not even close.

Newly discovered security footage from Georgia’s State Farm Arena showed dozens of ballot counters, media, and Republican observers leaving en masse at the same time from the ballot-counting area for Fulton County. After they left, a small remnant of about four workers began pulling trunks containing thousands of ballots from underneath a table with a long tablecloth and running them through machines.

The footage supported claims from Republicans that they were told counting had stopped for the night, only to find out hours later that it had kept going on. You can and should watch the 12-minute portion of the testimony from Jacki Pick here.

On Friday morning, a group called Lead Stories published a “hoax alert” falsely claiming to have debunked the security video. The Washington Post, Newsweek, and other outlets followed along, criticizing non-leftist journalists for giving the video traction. In fact, none of the claims made by the Republicans were debunked. . .

Leaving aside whether relying solely and uncritically on government officials’ claims constitutes anything close to a “fact” “check,” let’s look at the claim that party observers were never told that counting was over for the night. In Lead Stories’ regurgitation of the government officials’ claims, only the people who cut open the absentee ballot envelopes were sent home, while ballot counters and scanners were retained and kept working — and no one told the press or other observers they were done counting. Autopsy Report Reveals Grisly Details in Camping Trip Death of Fort Bragg Paratrooper

A Fort Bragg paratrooper who went missing on a camping trip with fellow soldiers in May was decapitated, according to the findings of a recently released autopsy report.

Spc. Enrique Roman-Martinez, 21, from Chino, California, was a human resource specialist in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, when he disappeared during a Memorial Day weekend camping trip with friends at Cape Lookout National Seashore, CBS News reported. His partial remains washed ashore one week later, and his death was ruled a homicide.

The autopsy report, signed Nov. 4 from the Division of Forensic Pathology at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, indicates that Roman-Martinez was murdered. But examiners were not able to determine the exact cause, because the young man had been decapitated and his head was the only remains recovered.

“While decapitation is, in and of itself, universally fatal, the remainder of the body in this case was not available for examination, and therefore potential causes of death involving the torso and extremities cannot be excluded,” the report states. But it also pointed to other grisly details, such as “evidence of multiple chop injuries of the head,” and a broken jaw in at least two places. . .

[His sister] Griselda told the Army Times that when her brother disappeared, he left behind his cellphone, wallet, and “the glasses he desperately needed.” According to Griselda, there were roughly seven other soldiers on the camping trip with Roman-Martinez, but none of their names have been disclosed to the family. Gun Lawsuits Flood in After Barrett Supreme Court Confirmation

Gun-rights activists have filed a slew of new cases in hopes Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation to the Supreme Court will lead to an expansion of gun protections.

Groups like the Second Amendment Foundation, Firearms Policy Coalition, and National Rifle Association have filed numerous federal cases against restrictive gun laws across the country with the intention of taking as many as possible to the Supreme Court. They hope to not only strike down restrictive laws in places like Massachusetts, California, and New Jersey but also further clarify the reach of the Second Amendment. New rulings, they believe, could change American gun laws forever by forcing judges in lower courts to a formal standard of review in Second Amendment cases.

“We started this process and planning as soon as Trump nominated [Barrett],” Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, which has already filed half a dozen new cases in recent weeks, told the Washington Free Beacon. “And, of course, as soon as she was confirmed, we started ramping it up to make it happen.”

“The lawsuits you’re seeing are part of a long-term strategic litigation,” Adam Kraut, director of legal strategy for the Firearms Policy Coalition, told the Free Beacon of the group’s recent surge in suits. “The confirmation of Justice Barrett, who seemingly would provide a fair analysis, is something that was part of the analysis that went into the timing of it.”

The Supreme Court has been reluctant to take on gun-rights cases since striking down local and state gun restrictions in the landmark District of Columbia v. Heller (2008) and McDonald v. Chicago (2010) decisions. Justices have only ruled on one Second Amendment case in the past decade and declined a slate of new suits in June. The confirmation of Barrett, who experts view as friendly toward broadening Second Amendment protections, has given activists hope. The NRA filed Mazahreh v. Grewal on Tuesday to challenge a restrictive New Jersey gun-carry law that allows officials to deny permit applications to the vast majority of residents. CDC Recommends Universal Use of Face Masks

The CDC on Friday issued its strongest mask guidance yet during the COVID-19 pandemic, calling for “universal mask wearing” in all activity outside of one’s home. The new recommendation comes at the end of a week when the U.S. saw its deadliest day of the pandemic so far, with more than 3,100 lives lost on Thursday alone.

“Compelling evidence now supports the benefits of cloth face masks for both source control (to protect others) and, to a lesser extent, protection of the wearer,” the report states.

Other measures including physical distancing, avoiding nonessential or crowded indoor spaces, postponing travel, and more testing and contact tracing are also part of the strategy outlined in the report, which warns that “[t]he United States has entered a phase of high-level transmission.”

The new guidance lists “universal wearing of face masks” as the first recommendation to help stop the spread of the disease. It says masks should be worn for all indoor activity outside of an individual’s home, as well as during all outdoor activity when at least 6 feet of social distancing can’t be maintained. WIN: Trump Team Allowed To Begin Examination Of Dominion Voting Machines

By WND. Amid national concern over alleged fraud involving election machines belonging to Dominion Voting Systems, President Donald Trump’s legal team on Sunday began forensic analysis of 22 of the machines in Michigan after a judge in the state allowed the examination. . .

The move was hailed by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, who tweeted: “BIG WIN FOR HONEST ELECTIONS. Antrim County Judge in Michigan orders forensic examination of 22 Dominion voting machines. This is where the untrustworthy Dominion machine flipped 6000 votes from Trump to Biden.” . . .

The Detroit Free Press reported: “Antrim County is solidly Republican but its unofficial results initially showed Democrat Joe Biden winning more votes on Nov. 3 than Trump did. The results were soon corrected and county and state officials have said the initial reporting inaccuracies were due to programming errors by the Republican clerk and not due to errors by the Dominion Voting Systems election equipment or related software.” (Read more from “Trump Team Begins Examination Of Dominion Voting Machines” HERE)

Trump Legal Team Celebrates After Michigan Judge Allows Probe of Dominion Voting Machines

By Fox News. A Michigan judge is allowing a forensic investigation of 22 Dominion vote tabulation machines in rural Antrim County amid claims that votes there were compromised.

Trump campaign attorneys celebrated the decision although the case is not related to the presidential contest.

“Our team is going to be able to go in this morning at about 8:30 and will be there for about eight hours to conduct that forensic examination and we’ll have the results in about 48 hours, and that’ll tell us a lot about these machines,” attorney Jenna Ellis said on “Fox & Friends” Sunday morning. FBI Agents Raid Home in Voter-Data Theft Probe

Federal law-enforcement officials in Maricopa County, Arizona, seized computers, hard drives and other storage devices as part of an investigation of voter-data theft.

The Arizona Republic reported Saturday the raid took place Nov. 5, two days after the election. The Phoenix paper cited an FBI spokesman saying the bureau will not confirm or deny the investigation.

However, a spokeswoman for the Maricopa County IT security staff, Megan Gilbertson, said in a statement that the FBI is investigating and the county is cooperating. . .

Gilbertson said that an analysis by county IT security staff “indicates an unauthorized individual gathered publicly accessible voter information from the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office website.” . . .

The Arizona Republic reported the property was seized from the Fountain Hills, Arizona, residence of Elliot Kerwin, 56, who identifies himself on LinkedIn as an information technology professional. (Read more from “FBI Agents Raid Arizona Home in Voter-Data Theft Probe” HERE)

State Governments Propose Rationing Care During COVID-19 Second Wave

State governments are reportedly considering asking hospitals to consider rationing care amid concerns that the second wave of coronavirus cases is overwhelming health care systems, and New Mexico and Idaho may be the first to take action on the plan if cases in those states do not decline, according to local media. . .

“A medical dam-break had been part of repeated warnings by state officials for weeks as COVID-19 counts surged in October and November,” the Santa Fe New Mexican reported. “The human toll includes health care workers — at least 18 have died since the crisis began earlier this year, state Human Services Department Secretary David Scrase said during a separate news conference with Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham later in the day.”

Grisham ultimately noted that she would encourage some hospitals, particularly rural hospitals, to reroute coronavirus patients to larger hospitals in nearby major cities, where the intensive care unit (ICU) capacity is higher. She also suggested that hospitals could move to “crisis standards of care,” which may involve rationing care or putting patients on wait-lists if their issues are less serious. . .

“I think it’s more probable than not that in the next two to four weeks, we will find ourselves’ at a point of needing to ration care due to COVID-19,” one hospital director told a board of health in Boise, noting that there are no signs of the “second wave” letting up, and hospitals could be overwhelmed through January.

Like New Mexico, though, the state of Idaho would have to allow for “crisis standards of care,” and Idaho’s governor, Brad Little, would have to approve the change. “At that point, a scoring system would determine which patients receive life-saving care,” the Statesman notes, and care for non-COVID patients could be delayed indefinitely.
