Senate Wades Even Deeper Into Bloody Years-Long Proxy War In New Defense Bill

As the Trump administration looks for an off-ramp to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, the Senate appears to be heading in the opposite direction as it floats continued “intelligence support” to help Kyiv take back Crimea and other Russian-held territories.

The language is buried in Section 1223 of the proposed Senate version of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), “Intelligence Support for Ukraine.” The provision is being proposed as the Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to escalate, with Moscow threatening strikes on Western Europe in response to drone attacks from Kyiv that have brought the battlefield home.

Ukraine launched the largest drone attack on Moscow since the beginning of the war shortly after the proposed legislation was released on Thursday, Reuters reported, citing Andrei Vorobyov, the governor of Moscow Oblast. Russian air defense systems shot down 555 drones during the attack, state-funded TASS Russian News Agency reported, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“The Secretary of Defense shall provide intelligence support, including information, intelligence, and imagery collection authorized under title 10, United States Code, to the Government of Ukraine for the purpose of supporting military operations of the Government of Ukraine that are intended to defend and retake the territory of Ukraine,” Section 1223 of the proposed Senate version of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) reads.

The language proposed in the Senate version of the 2027 NDAA specifies that Crimea is among these goals. Notably, the 2023 and 2026 NDAA also offer “intelligence” support for Ukraine, but do not go as far as formally recognizing Crimea as Ukrainian territory to be reclaimed. Fox Host Mark Levin Is Now Trashing Trump

Fox News host Mark Levin accused President Donald Trump of “trashing” and “bullying” Israel, in recent posts on X and during the monologue of his Saturday show.

During a Thursday press conference, Vice President JD Vance criticized Israeli officials who “attacked” the memorandum of understanding Trump signed with Iran, setting up a 60-day period of negotiations to secure a final peace deal. Levin tore into Trump during a rant which lasted for over 17 minutes Saturday night.

“I want to say to people in and out of the administration: stop trashing, smearing, bullying the little state of Israel. Stop cozying up to and telling us that the enemy regime in Iran is now more rational, more moderate, and a regime that we can deal with,” Levin demanded. “When just a few months ago they slaughtered 50,000 people, they’re still hanging young people today and, if they had a nuclear missile today, they’d fire it into our country as sure as I’m alive.”

“I don’t know what’s going on, but if people think they can bully a little country, Israel — a people that have existed 4,000 years through the Babylonians and the Persians, through the Romans and the Third Reich — into surrendering their defense and their decision on how to secure their country, they get another thing coming,” Levin continued. “I think it’s outrageous.”

Levin also took potshots at Trump on social media, including referencing the $400 million Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar which was converted into a new airframe in support of the Air Force One presidential airlift mission. The two government-ordered Boeing 747-8 aircraft are suffering overruns and delays pushing their delivery past 2028. (Read more from “Fox Host Mark Levin Is Now Trashing Trump” HERE)

He ‘Lied’: Tulsi Gabbard Releases Evidence Fauci Allegedly Directed Funding for ‘Risky’ Coronavirus Research Linked to Big Pharma and Pursuit of ‘Universal Vaccines’

By Breitbart. Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard used her last day in office to release a trove of evidence that Dr. Anthony Fauci – former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) – lied to Congress and directed U.S. funding for gain-of-function research linked to Big Pharma’s pursuit of “universal vaccines,” all while influencing and manipulating the intelligence community to cover up his role in the coronavirus pandemic.

Gabbard, who is leaving her post to help her husband as he battles an “extremely rare” form of cancer, released a trove of documents on her last day in office showcasing what many have said for years: Fauci lied to cover up his own alleged wrongdoing.

The Trump administration is blowing the lid off the coverup completely, showcasing Fauci’s role in providing millions in U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology – where that specific coronavirus is suspected to originate.

Gabbard said:

Today, on my final day as Director of National Intelligence, I’m releasing never before seen communications and documents that expose exactly how Fauci worked with politicized career leadership in the intelligence community to suppress the truth about his actions, the virus’s lab leak origins, and his role in directing U.S. funding for this dangerous research that caused immeasurable harm and countless lost lives.

Gabbard drops bombshell on former gov official after releasing treasure trove of secret files

By Fox News. Just before leaving office amid a contentious battle over who will succeed her, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard used one of her final acts atop the U.S. intelligence community to spotlight Dr. Anthony Fauci’s role in discussions surrounding the government’s COVID-19 origins review.

While much of the material is familiar, Gabbard’s release underscores her effort to make questions surrounding Fauci, COVID origins and federal support for virus research part of her closing legacy atop the intelligence community.

As Gabbard fired her final broadside, Bill Pulte, who has received bipartisan criticism over his lack of intelligence experience, is set to take the reins at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence while Trump’s permanent nominee remains stalled.

Jay Clayton, an attorney and former SEC chairman whom Trump nominated to permanently lead ODNI, has seen his confirmation process delayed after the president said he was holding up the nomination to pressure Congress to pass a voter identification measure. Trailblazing Trans Lawmaker Sentenced To Over 33 Years For Child Exploitation

The first transgender lawmaker elected to a state legislature was sentenced to 33 years in prison Thursday for charges of child exploitation after convincing his “former intimate partner” to take explicit photos of children at a daycare.

Stacie-Marie Laughton, a 42-year-old man who claims to be a woman, faces more than 33 years in prison after convincing his former partner, Lindsay Groves, to take photos of children at the daycare where she once worked. Groves took nude photos of children estimated to be between the ages of three and five during bathroom breaks and diaper changes, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ), before sending them to Laughton via text.

Groves’ and Laughton’s phones contained over 10,000 text messages between them in just one month in 2023, which included discussion and transfer of explicit photographs of the children.

Laughton was originally elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2012 but later announced he would not take office, pointing to three felony convictions related to credit card fraud in 2008. Laughton, who reportedly had plans to become a minister, later served in the House from 2020 to 2022.

Laughton pleaded guilty in November 2025 to three counts of sexual exploitation of children and now faces over 33 years in prison. Groves also pleaded guilty in October 2025 to three counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of distribution of child pornography, later being sentenced to nearly 22 years. Meloni Slams Trump’s Claim She ‘Begged’ for a Photo with Him as Italy’s Top Diplomat Cancels US Trip

The Italian government closed ranks on Friday to slam U.S. President Donald Trump over his claim that Premier Giorgia Meloni had “begged” for a photo with him during the recent G7 summit, a pushback that suggested America’s longtime European ally had had enough of Trump’s boasting and criticism.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani abruptly cancelled a planned trip to the United States this weekend, calling Trump’s claims “serious and offensive” toward Meloni and all of Italy. The Foreign Ministry later announced that the business and scientific forum Tajani was to attend in Miami had also been called off.

Meloni for her part posted a video calling Trump’s claims “completely fabricated” and expressing astonishment that he would invent such things about an ally.

“Italy and I do not beg,” she said pointedly. (Read more from “Meloni slams Trump’s claim she ‘begged’ for a photo with him as Italy’s top diplomat cancels US trip” HERE)

White House Spars with MAGA Allies as Iran Deal Sparks Conservative Revolt

The Trump White House is lashing out at some of its most reliable allies as a bitter civil war erupts on the right over the administration’s controversial Iran agreement.

Conservative commentator Batya Ungar-Sargon became the latest target Friday after she blasted the deal as an “utter humiliation” for the US and accused Vice President JD Vance of unfairly attacking Israel while defending Tehran.

Within hours the official White House rapid-response account on X unloaded on the conservative pundit in a pair of scathing posts.

“The only humiliation here is Batya desperately begging for an additional brain cell because her failing TV show is even more irrelevant than the likes of Kaitlan Collins and Fake Tapper,” the account, Rapid Response 47, wrote.

Collins, CNN’s chief White House correspondent and the host of a primetime show, has been a frequent target of Trump, as has Jake Tapper, the host of the network’s daily political wrap-up show “The Lead with Jake Tapper.”

Top Israeli Official Openly Calls For Genocide As US Seeks Peace: ‘All Of Lebanon Must Burn’

Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir openly called for genocide, demanding that all of Lebanon “must burn” while the United States works to end the war with Iran.

Ben-Gvir issued a scathing rebuke of the current Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) negotiated between Iran and the United States after Israel says four of its soldiers were killed in Southern Lebanon in an attack by Hezbollah — although some reports suggest Israel and Lebanon have subsequently agreed to a new ceasefire late Friday morning. In his statement, Ben-Gvir said the goal should be to indiscriminately “obliterate” Lebanon.

“For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep,” Ben-Gvir said in the Friday post on X. “All of Lebanon must burn! With all due respect to the Americans, Israel must make it clear to the entire world that the blood of our sons and the security of our citizens are not forfeit. All of Lebanon must burn.”

“Our supreme duty is to protect the citizens of Israel and the soldiers of the IDF, and this commitment takes precedence over every other consideration,” Ben-Gvir added. “I told the Prime Minister, even in our private meetings: For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep. Enough with the ping-pong. In the Middle East, you don’t win with measured responses and restraint — you need to go berserk. To obliterate. To crush the terror.”

The MoU on Wednesday afternoon, specifically requiring that the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as “their allies in the current war,” immediately cease all military operations, including in Lebanon, and requires that the “territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon” be respected. Hunter Biden Challenges Donald Trump Jr. to Cage Match After UFC White House Event ‘Offended’ Him

A tough-talking Hunter Biden has challenged Donald Trump Jr. to a cage fight in a lengthy social media post about how the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House was offensive to him.

Former President Joe Biden’s (D) son directed his comments to podcaster Joe Rogan on Thursday, writing, “Dear Joe, I wish I could sit down with you face to face and explain why so many of us were offended by the UFC fight on the South Lawn of the White House.”

“For me, it had nothing to do with the UFC or who showed up for the fights. The brand you and Dana have built is a bona fide American success story. More power to you. As for the fighters, in my book, anyone brave enough to put it all on the line in the arena is remarkable to witness,” he continued.

However, Hunter said his “problem” with it was that “I believe some of our public spaces are sacred,” adding, “The White House does not belong to Donald Trump. It does not belong to any President. It belongs to the people. To treat it as Caesar treated the Colosseum is antithetical to everything our founding fathers fought for. This is not Rome. Presidents are not emperors doling out bread and circuses for the peasants. The White House is the People’s House.”

He further claimed, “The fights were an exhibition of imperial domination, not a celebration of our 250th anniversary as a democracy.” (Read more from “Hunter Biden Challenges Donald Trump Jr. to Cage Match After UFC White House Event ‘Offended’ Him” HERE)

‘The People There Are Terrible’: Bezos Reportedly Confided To Trump That He Hated The Washington Post

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos branded The Washington Post the worst bet of his career during a private meal with President Donald Trump weeks before he carved up the newsroom.

The billionaire vented on the paper at a December 2024 dinner, according to the New York Post, citing the forthcoming book “Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump,” authored by New York Times reporters Jonathan Swan and Maggie Haberman. “The people there are terrible,” Bezos told Trump, per the Post. He griped that the publication’s leadership ignored his guidance. “They don’t listen. My other companies, they listen,” he said.

Notably, The Washington Post has suffered significant financial difficulties in recent years — a point of contention for Bezos, especially with the business side of his newspaper property. In 2024, The Washington Post lost more than $100 million.

Trump used the same dinner to air his own complaints, the New York Post reported. “This Washington Post is really unfair. You’ve got to take better care,” he told Bezos. The two men landed on common ground despite different grievances.

A murkier motive surfaced in Swan and Haberman’s casting of the conversation. “In Trump’s telling, Bezos told him he had lost half his friends over the investment,” the authors wrote, according to the New York Post. Bezos disputed that account to others, saying confidants had pushed him to sell rather than that friendships had collapsed.
