Potential Source of ‘Explosive Diarrhea’ Parasite ID’d: Report

Taco Bell lettuce supplied by a popular produce company has been identified as a potential source of contamination behind the parasitic illness saddling thousands of Americans with explosive diarrhea, according to a new report.

Shredded iceberg lettuce supplied to the fast food chain by Taylor Farms has been linked to this summer’s outbreak of cyclosporiasis, according to two individuals familiar with the investigation, The Washington Post reported.

“The signal we have gotten is that there is a very high percentage of people who got sick at Taco Bell, and when investigators asked what their menu items were in common, lettuce came up frequently,” said one of the individuals who spoke to the outlet on the condition of anonymity due to the ongoing investigation.

When the Food and Drugs Administration asked the Mexican fast food giant where they get their lettuce from, Taylor Farms was identified as supplying to stores in Michigan and three other states, where the outbreak has been the largest, according to the source.

Authorities in Michigan previously said that the leafy greens are suspected as the source causing hundreds of cases of the stomach illness based on interviews with over 1,000 patients. (Read more from “Potential Source of ‘Explosive Diarrhea’ Parasite ID’d: Report” HERE)

House Passes Bill Preventing Credit Card Companies from Tracking Gun Sales

On July 14, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill to block credit card companies from tracking gun and ammunition sales.

The bill, H.R. 1181, passed on a vote of 221 to 201. Two-hundred-and-fifteen Republicans voted for the bill, along with five Democrats and one Independent.

H.R. 1181 is sponsored by Riley Moore (R-WV).

Breitbart News reported Moore’s introduction of the bill on February 12, 2025, noting that he titled it the “Protecting Privacy in Purchases Act.”

He introduced it after major credit card companies succumbed to the gun control lobby during the Biden Administration and made plans to track the sales of guns and ammo.

For example, on September 11, 2022, Breitbart News pointed out Visa caved to pressure from gun control groups and New York Democrats, agreeing to flag gun and ammo purchases via a merchant code. The Associated Press observed that Mastercard and other major credit card companies also agreed to flag gun sales. On March 2, 2023, Breitbart News noted Discover was slated to begin tracking gun and ammunition purchases with the new MCC in April 2023. UN Chief Warns of Imminent ‘Catastrophic Consequences’ as US Launches New Strikes: Report

Shortly after the United States launched a fresh round of strikes at Iran on Sunday, the United Nations secretary-general pleaded with all parties to practice restraint, or risk sparking global and imminent “catastrophic consequences.”

On Saturday, the United States launched strikes at Iran in response to an attack on a container ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz, and in a manner that Iran claimed to be in violation of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement. Iran responded early Sunday morning with strikes targeting major U.S. allies in the region.

On Sunday, the United States retaliated again with a new wave of strikes, only this time, U.N. Secretary General António Guterres pleaded with all parties involved to stop hostilities, The New York Times reported.

“A return to full-scale hostilities would have catastrophic consequences [for the region and for the global economy],” Guterres said, according to a statement issued by his spokesperson.

Guterres went on to say he was “deeply concerned by the serious escalation” and urged both the United States and Iran “to exercise maximum restraint, avoid further escalatory action and take immediate steps to de-escalate.” (Read more from “UN Chief Warns of Imminent ‘Catastrophic Consequences’ as US Launches New Strikes: Report” HERE)

Mystery Link Between Four Missing US Scientists as Fresh Clue Emerges

A new pattern has been identified in a case involving a series of deaths and disappearances of around a dozen scientists in connection with U.S. research facilities.

Anthony Chavez, a former Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) employee, was just one of the victims who disappeared without a trace last May. He had worked at the nuclear research facilities right up until he retired in 2017.

According to a new report from the Daily Mail, just before his disappearance, Chavez bought a 9mm pistol for self-defense, police records show. Despite being “in good spirits” at the time, he disappeared before he could pick up his purchase from a Santa Fe sporting goods store. It comes after the White House broke its silence on the 10 missing scientists who were privy to the nation’s biggest secrets.

The records also showed that Chavez was allegedly being mentored by an “unknown scientist” while working at the lab. The mentoring was allegedly on AI and quantum physics projects that were researching the idea of being in “two places at once.”

Chavez’s case is the fourth of its kind that is connected to the top-secret U.S. facility, which involved a handgun in the last year, either because the person went missing after buying one, left home carrying one, or was found dead with one next to them. American Farmers Waving Red Flags over Data Centers, Water Usage

About 30 miles from Clint McRae’s southeastern Montana ranch, a local utility company bought roughly 6,000 acres of cattle grazing land.

After scouring job postings online and talking with local ranchers, he’s deduced that the land might soon be transformed into one of the many large-scale data centers moving into Montana over the past year.

McRae’s primary concern is water. It is essential for cattlemen in the western plains who have for years been shrinking their cattle herds in response to droughts.

The local water supply will have to keep flowing to the new data center projects, rather than to ranchers who need it to keep the pasture healthy and calves hydrated, according to McRae. Montana’s cattle herd could experience a more permanent decline as a result, he said.

“If we have a dry year like we’re having now, who’s going to cut back?” McRae, a fourth-generation rancher, said. “It’s going to be agriculture.” (Read more from “American Farmers Waving Red Flags over Data Centers, Water Usage” HERE)

Trump Slashes Two Utah Protected Areas by More than 90%

President Donald Trump on Monday signed executive orders slashing two national monuments in Utah to roughly a tenth of their current size, throwing open millions of acres of protected land to fossil fuel extraction and mining.

Trump signed the proclamations at a White House gathering flanked by Republican officials including Utah’s governor and two senators, who framed the move as an overdue correction of federal overreach.

“We’re doing something very dramatic and very important for the people of Utah and the people of our country,” said Trump.

“These monument designations are supposed to be the ‘smallest area’ possible to protect the antiquities, and these multi-million acre monuments that are bigger than the state of Delaware certainly do not fit that designation,” added Utah Governor Spencer Cox.

“We definitely care about protecting these antiquities and will continue to do so,” he added. (Read more from “Trump Slashes Two Utah Protected Areas by More than 90%” HERE)

Erika Kirk Demands Full Transparency In Murder Trial Preliminary Hearing

Erika Kirk, represented by her attorney Jeffery Neiman, has moved that the Utah County court publish all admitted evidence in the courtroom, citing her right to be involved in the trial as a victim advocate.

Kirk, joined by her late husband Charlie Kirk’s parents, filed a motion to the court requesting that all currently admitted evidence be “published during the proceedings scheduled for July 9,” and that all evidence admitted for the rest of the hearing be “displayed openly and in real time, so that all persons lawfully present in the courtroom may see it,” ABC 4 reported. The filing requests that all evidence be published to those present in the courtroom; however, it does not address the camera or those in the media not physically present.

Throughout the proceedings so far, certain pieces of evidence have been admitted to the court, meaning they will be considered in the final ruling but not disclosed to those present in the courtroom. Most recently, 17 minutes of Tyler Robinson’s roommates’ 37-minute recorded testimony were admitted into evidence but redacted from public view.

The filing argues that the Kirk family was “denied the very thing their presence was meant to secure: their ability to meaningfully observe the preliminary hearing.” The motion also warns that a lack of transparency means “speculation and conspiracy theories related to the tragic assassination of Mr. Kirk will continue to proliferate in the public domain, breeding doubt and distrust in the judicial system.”

House Rebukes ‘Fall Back,’ ‘Spring Forward’ In Landslide Vote

The House of Representatives voted 308-117 Tuesday to pass a bill that seeks to make Daylight Saving Time permanent and put an end to switching clocks twice a year.

The Sunshine Protection Act of 2025, introduced by Republican Florida Rep. Vern Buchanan, is backed by President Donald Trump. However, the bill still has to pass the Senate before it reaches the president’s desk.

The bipartisan bill was supported by a majority of members from both parties. However 95 Democrats and 22 Republicans voted against it.

Buchanan praised the passage of his bill saying in a statement sent to the Daily Caller News Foundation that it is an “important step toward ending” an “outdated practice.”

“Permanent daylight saving time will improve public safety, promote healthier and more active lifestyles and give families more daylight to enjoy after work and school,” Buchanan’s statement continued. “I’m grateful to my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for supporting this bipartisan effort, and I urge the Senate to send this long-overdue reform to the president’s desk.” (Read more from “House Rebukes ‘Fall Back,’ ‘Spring Forward’ In Landslide Vote” HERE)

MAGA’s Paid Influencer Scandal Exploding Into Full View

To the Israeli government, enlisting former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale to claw back support among young conservatives who increasingly hold negative or downright hostile views of the Jewish state and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu probably seemed like a brilliant idea. Parscale’s digital influence campaign would all be kept under wraps; none would be the wiser. MAGA social media stars would keep pumping out the posts, and Americans would, after all was said and done, have a rosier picture of Israel and Bibi. In other words, a psyop was needed to convince America that Israel was still an ally.

But boy, did it backfire.

Responsible Statecraft, a publication of the Quincy Institute, first broke the story about Parscale’s registration as a foreign agent of Israel and his pro-Israel psyop, all the way back in September 2025. Since then, more and more stories have been written about the burgeoning scandal, which also involves paid MAGA influencers, though it has not quite reached the levels of scrutiny it truly deserves. Both the Daily Caller and the Daily Caller News Foundation have covered it several times, as well as a Parscale firm’s operation to harvest data from unwitting World Cup fans. Tuesday marked yet another report, characterized by some as a “bombshell.”

Indeed, something feels different about the latest revelations. The scandal seems to be picking up much more steam than it has in previous news cycles. It might be because sleazier details are coming to light in TIME Magazine’s new exposé, published Tuesday.

Brad Parscale, a veteran of Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns, heads Clock Tower X, an enterprise responsible for building several websites designed to broadcast pro-Israel messaging. Under a lucrative multimillion-dollar contract with a state-guided Israeli PR firm, Havas Media Network, Clock Tower X directed $6 million to SparkFire Technologies. The company uses AI bots designed to “persuade people” and advocate for Israel via text messages, emails, and web chats. Hawley Doesn’t Rule Out Russian Foul Play in Graham Death, Urges Full Toxicology Report, Autopsy

Monday on FNC’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) insisted U.S. investigators should at least consider the possibility of Russian foul play in the death of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

“One of your colleagues in the Senate, Senator Cornyn, is not ruling out foul play,” host Jesse Watters said. “Lindsey had gotten back from Ukraine that same day. You know the Russians are notorious. Do you think that that’s a possibility?”
