Think Kamala For President Was Bad? Democrats’ Potential Backup Plan Was Just As Ridiculous

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is hardly a brilliant bench pick. Still, we should count our blessings. America was spared an even more grim alternative: Justice Kamala Harris.

In a promotional interview for his book on Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, CNN anchor Jake Tapper suggested Harris could have been offered the position.

“They could’ve made her a Supreme Court justice, right?” He said in conversation with Alex Thompson, Tapper’s co-author, and Scott Galloway. “They could’ve said, at some point, when that position came open, we’re going to make you a Supreme Court justice and, you know, if you want to resign from the court and run for president in the future, that’s on you.”

“Let’s be honest, she’s certainly not the legal mind Ketanji Brown Jackson is,” Tapper continued, “but she would’ve been confirmed … if they really didn’t think she was qualified, there was an out right there.” Tapper is ostensibly trying to compliment Jackson. This is tricky, given Jackson may be the least competent Supreme Court justice in history. But credit where credit is due — Kamala Harris could probably give her a run for her money. Just imagine the quotes which would ooze from a Harris dissent.

Harris’ mental powers notwithstanding, Tapper might not be wrong. It is quite the indictment of the judicial appointment process that someone like Harris might ascend to the highest court in the land. But that’s failing upwards for you. “Can’t cut it as a vice president? No problem. We’ll just put you out to pasture with a lifetime gig interpreting the Constitution on behalf of your fellow Americans.” (Read more from “Think Kamala For President Was Bad? American Charged With Attempted Firebombing of Tel Aviv US Embassy

A dual U.S.-German citizen allegedly intended to bomb the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, and he faces years behind bars and a hefty fine if convicted, authorities said Sunday.

Joseph Neumeyer, born in Colorado, approached the embassy May 19 while carrying a dark-colored backpack and spat at an embassy guard near the employee entrance of the diplomatic building, according to a criminal complaint by the FBI. Neumeyer swore at the guard and managed to escape arrest, but he left behind his backpack. In it, the guard found at least one Molotov cocktail, the complaint alleged.

Law enforcement agents tracked him to a nearby hotel, where they arrested him after he identified himself and allegedly suggested that his backpack contained Molotov cocktail bottles. Hours before the incident, Neumeyer allegedly posted on a Facebook account — that the FBI said was his — messages such as “Join me this afternoon in Tel Aviv- we are burning down the US embassy” and “Join me as I burn down the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death to America, death to Americans, and f— the west,” screenshots in the criminal complaint show.

More than once in March, Neumeyer allegedly posted death threats to the same Facebook account against U.S. President Donald Trump and Department of Government Efficiency leader Elon Musk, more screenshots in the complaint show. Neumeyer departed the U.S. for Canada sometime in February and traveled to Israel on or around May 19, the FBI alleged. Companies Retreat From Gay Pride Events Across US Amid Trump Admin’s DEI Crackdown

A host of American corporations are backpedaling from their involvement in gay pride events this year amid the Trump administration’s rollback of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts across the country.

There have been a growing number of reports that organizers of major gay pride parades and festivals across the U.S. are scrambling for funds due to several longtime corporate sponsors scaling back their support of LGBTQ events. Some scholars explained to the Daily Caller News Foundation that news of companies pulling back from pride events may reflect a broader shift away from DEI in corporate America.

“We are seeing major companies, in meaningful numbers, either eliminating or modifying their DEI programs, which certainly does include sponsoring LGBTQ+ pride events and so on,” Stefan Padfield, the executive director of the National Center’s Free Enterprise Project, told the DCNF. “I think really the bottom line here is that there has just arisen an awareness on the part of executives that this promotion of these [pride] events runs such a meaningful risk of being perceived as pushing transgender ideology on parents … I think corporations have finally woken up to the reality that that’s a very big risk for them to be taking.”

“Those of us on the right, conservatives in this space, we are just pushing corporations to get back to neutral,” Padfield added. “We just want them to stop pushing these agendas down our throat, just get back to producing great products and services and making America great through the power of capitalism in that way … the left, on the other hand, wants the corporations to push their agendas. This is really a step back to neutrality, and I think we need to celebrate it and encourage more of it.”

The recent reports of some corporate sponsors backing out of major pride events come amid President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to eliminate DEI policies across the public and private sectors, including signing several executive orders aiming to terminate what he has referred to as “radical and wasteful” DEI programs across the federal government. Mayor Blames Christian Rally for Provoking Counter-Protest Violence

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell blamed a Christian rally and infiltrating “anarchists” for violence breaking out at a counter-protest on Saturday.

The Seattle Police Department reported 23 people were arrested at Cal Anderson Park during MayDayUSA’s “Don’t Mess With Our Kids” rally and a pro-LGBTQ counter-protest. According to SPD, police witnessed “multiple people inside one group throw items at the opposing group” and, while arresting individuals, were assaulted by other individuals, leading to an officer requiring medical treatment.

After the scuffle broke out, Harrell’s office released a statement defending the LGBTQ community and criticizing the “far-right rally” for provoking the violent reaction.

“Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice,” the statement read. “Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.”

He continued, “Anarchists infiltrated the counter-protestors group and inspired violence, prompting SPD to make arrests and ask organizers to shut down the event early, which they did.” (Read more from “Mayor Blames Christian Rally for Provoking Counter-Protest Violence” HERE)

Former Biden Aide Admits Staff Felt Justified Doing ‘Undemocratic Things’ to Stop ‘Existential Threat’ Donald Trump

A former aide to President Joe Biden said White House staff felt justified doing “undemocratic things” in order to stop the “existential threat” that was Donald Trump.

Axios reporter Alex Thompson revealed on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream that White House insiders revealed to him they often viewed themselves as the decision makers in the Biden administration and were shielded from the president’s oversight.

“If you believe — and I think a lot of these people do sincerely believe — that Donald Trump was and is an existential threat to democracy, you can rationalize anything, including sometimes doing undemocratic things,” Thompson said.

Another aide also reportedly told Thompson that former President Biden “just had to win, and then he could disappear for four years.”

“He’d only have to show proof of life every once in a while,” Thompson said the aide told him. “His aides could pick up the slack.” (Read more from “Former Biden Aide Admits Staff Felt Justified Doing ‘Undemocratic Things’ to Stop ‘Existential Threat’ Donald Trump” HERE)

Christian Allegedly Fired for Wearing Bible-Themed Shirts in Pride Month

A settlement has been reached after a man in Scott County, Iowa, accused his former employer of firing him for wearing Christian-themed T-shirts to counter its alliance with the LGBTQ agenda.

Cosby “Corey” Cunningham sued Eaton Corp. after it endorsed so-called “Pride Month,” which ramps up throughout the month of June, the Iowa Capital Dispatch reported Thursday.

He sued the global power management company in June 2024 and alleged it had violated his civil rights over the matter.

Cunningham, who is a Christian, decided to take action when Eaton initiated a ceremony recognizing “Pride Month” in early June 2023, per the lawsuit.

The company reportedly erected a pride flag, encouraged staff to wear certain colors, and offered pride-themed shirts for them to buy. (Read more from “Christian Allegedly Fired for Wearing Bible-Themed Shirts in Pride Month” HERE)

Judge Says Tariffs Are Authorized by Emergency Powers Act in Win for Trump

You can buy a set of three pads of legal paper, “proudly made in the U.S.A.” by TOPS, for $16.64 (that is, $5.55 per pad). Or go to Simplified and get an imported two-pad set, currently marked down to $22 ($11 a pad).

Simplified is not confident customers are willing to pay much more for its products, so when President Donald Trump put tariffs on China, it went to court to object.

The case was filed in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division, on April 3 by Emily Ley Paper, Inc., an upscale stationery website doing business under the name Simplified.

The Trump administration asked to move the case to the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT). The outcome of that request could make this case an easy win for Trump once the CIT reviews the transfer order.

Fentanyl from China

The case was triggered by Trump’s effort to stem the flow of drugs coming into the U.S. On Jan. 20, Trump signed a proclamation declaring a national emergency exists at the U.S. southern border, based in part on the many Americans who have died from overdosing on drugs smuggled into the country. Among those drugs were fentanyl and other synthetic opioids made in China. Drugs also enter the U.S. hidden in shipping containers. Suspected Terrorist Charged With Gunning Down Israeli Diplomats in DC Has Links to Radical Groups Funded by Socialist Multi-Millionaire

The suspected terrorist charged with gunning down two Israeli embassy workers in Washington Wednesday is associated with radical socialist groups funded by the far-left Chinese sympathizer, millionaire Neville Singham and his activist wife Jodie Evans.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, who allegedly confessed to killing the couple outside the Capital Jewish Museum and chanted “free, free Palestine!” was part of that network through his association with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Communist political organization that has fielded presidential candidates since 2008.

In 2018, Rodriguez also raised $240 in a GoFundMe campaign to join the March to Fight Poverty in Washington DC and took part in demonstrations and protests around Chicago as a member of the ANSWER coalition around 2017 and 2018, another radical socialist group, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

Both the PSL and ANSWER Coalition are connected to People’s Forum – a Manhattan-based non-profit which has ties to the Chinese Communist Party – through funding from Singham, 71.

All three groups have been involved in anti-Israel protests, with the People’s Forum having a cadre of operatives embedded at Columbia University — an epicenter of protest — according to previous reports. REPORT: Veteran Says He Received Certificate Signed By Trump In Mail Declaring He’s Dead

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) reportedly declared veteran of the Utah National Guard Craig Haskell dead by mistake, leaving him for five months without pension or benefits.

The VA declared Haskell deceased as of Nov. 22, 2024, and the veteran was even sent a certificate signed by President Donald Trump in his memory through the mail, he told KSL.

“Horrible mistake,” Haskell said about the situation. “But it just needs to be corrected.”

“The pension benefits and all those are gone,” Haskell continued, alleging that the VA owns him over $10,000 in back payments. “So I started making phone calls and meetings with VA people to try to get things resolved.”

The veteran said he tried for five months to get the department to correct the oversight, including submitting affidavits.
