Woman Slashes Bus Passenger’s Throats, Asks ‘Allah for Forgiveness’

By WND. “I hope Allah will forgive me,” said Brietta Brown, shortly after she was handcuffed for allegedly slashing the throats of two passengers and attacking the driver of a transit bus . . .

“I’m so sorry, I don’t know what came over me. Please apologize to them for me, will they survive? I hope Allah will forgive me.”

MassLive said Hadley Police Officer Thomas Chabot’s report cites surveillance video from the bus.

Brown was sitting quietly after boarding, behind other passengers, when all of a sudden she took out a knife, unsheathed it, and grabbed a woman “and made a left to right slice to the victim’s neck.”

Then, the report said, she made “multiple slashing motions” at a man and cut him at least once, Chabot reported. (Read more from “Woman Slashes Bus Passenger’s Throats, Asks ‘Allah for Forgiveness'” HERE)

Police Report Describes Footage of Woman Slashing Hadley Bus Passengers’ Throats

By Mass Live. . .The video shows Brown sitting calmly after boarding the bus. She was seated on the passenger side of the bus behind the victims, who were sitting together. “At no point in time was there any interaction between them prior to the attack,” Chabot wrote.

Brown could be seen on the footage removing the knife from her pocket and unsheathing it. She then grabbed a female “her by the head … and made a left to right slice to the victim’s neck.”

She then attacked the male after he stood up reacting to the assault. She “made multiple slashing motions” and cut him at least once, according to Chabot’s report.

Witnesses told police “with some variance that Brown looked like she was about to say hi to the two indented victims when she grabbed each by the head and sliced at there (sic) throats.” (Read more from “Police Report Describes Footage of Woman Slashing Hadley Bus Passengers’ Throats” HERE)

Snoop Dogg’s ‘All-White’ Kanye Post Goes Viral

Kanye West’s open declarations of support for Donald Trump and criticism of the “plantation” mentality of the Democratic Party have been met with massive backlash from the Left. In the last few days, a Detroit hip-hop radio station officially banned his music, a Democratic congresswoman told him to stop talking so much, and many of his fellow performers have denounced him.

Among his peers who have slammed him is Snoop Dogg, who posted an image on Instagram on Thursday of an “allwhite” Kanye that has quickly gone viral. . .

The new. Kanye well allwhite now way to go dude

A post shared by snoopdogg (@snoopdogg) on

Snoop Dogg’s Uncle Tom-esque criticism of Kanye follows several comments that the performer has made recently that have raised the ire of the Left, including describing the belief that all African Americans should vote Democrat as a “plantation” mentality and pointing out that the Democratic Party was the party of slavery, while Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. Turns Out, Latest Addition to Mueller’s Team Donated to Hillary’s Presidential Campaign

The latest addition to special counsel Robert Mueller’s team of prosecutors contributed to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, according to federal campaign records.

Uzo Asonye, an assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, is joining Mueller’s stable of prosecutors to work as local counsel on the case against Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman who has been indicted on money laundering and bank fraud charges.

Asonye worked at the firm O’Melveny & Myers before joining the U.S. attorney’s office in 2010. Asonye donated $900 to Clinton’s presidential campaign from January to April 2008, according to Federal Election Commission records. He has not donated to any other national political campaigns since then . . .

As The Daily Caller News Foundation has reported, none of Mueller’s prosecutors, which number nearly 20 in all, are registered Republicans. As of February, 13 Mueller lawyers were registered Democrats. A public records search shows Asonye has registered to vote as a Democrat. . .

Mueller has removed at least one of his investigators over documented political bias. Peter Strzok, a former deputy chief for the FBI’s counterintelligence division, was kicked off of Mueller’s team after he was found to have exchanged anti-Trump text messages with FBI lawyer Lisa Page. Strzok oversaw the Russia investigation after the FBI opened it on July 31, 2016. (Read more from “Turns Out, Latest Addition to Mueller’s Team Donated to Hillary’s Presidential Campaign” HERE)

How Politically Biased Are Universities? New Study Finds It’s Far Worse Than Anybody Thought.

It’s no secret that the majority of the faculty at our colleges and universities lean heavily to the left and generally support the Democratic Party’s agenda, and study after study over the last few decades has shown that ideological and political imbalance to be growing increasingly more dramatic. A new study has produced perhaps the most eye-opening findings yet.

An extensive study of 8,688 tenure-track professors at 51 of the 66 top-ranked liberal arts colleges in the U.S. published by the National Association of Scholars found that the ratio of faculty members registered as Democrats compared to those registered Republican is now a stunning 10.4 to 1. If two military colleges that are technically described as “liberal arts colleges” are removed from the calculations, the ratio is 12.7 to 1. . .

Here’s how Langbert leads into his study of what he describes as the “troubling” political homogeneity of faculty at our leading liberal arts colleges:

In this article I offer new evidence about something readers of Academic Questions already know: The political registration of full-time, Ph.D.-holding professors in top-tier liberal arts colleges is overwhelmingly Democratic. Indeed, faculty political affiliations at 39 percent of the colleges in my sample are Republican free—having zero Republicans. The political registration in most of the remaining 61 percent, with a few important exceptions, is slightly more than zero percent but nevertheless absurdly skewed against Republican affiliation and in favor of Democratic affiliation. Thus, 78.2 percent of the academic departments in my sample have either zero Republicans, or so few as to make no difference.

My sample of 8,688 tenure track, Ph.D.–holding professors from fifty-one of the sixty-six top ranked liberal arts colleges in the U.S. News 2017 report consists of 5,197, or 59.8 percent, who are registered either Republican or Democrat. The mean Democratic-to-Republican ratio (D:R) across the sample is 10.4:1, but because of an anomaly in the definition of what constitutes a liberal arts college in the U.S. News survey, I include two military colleges, West Point and Annapolis. If these are excluded, the D:R ratio is a whopping 12.7:1.

Hilarious: Homeless Man Says He Broke into Jerry Brown’s House Because Brown’s ‘an Open-Door Policy Kind of Guy’

By The Daily Wire. . .Brown, a sanctuary cities supporter, likely never figured that his own views on the subject would return to bite him, but that’s exactly what happened last month, when a homeless man arrested for breaking into Brown’s home claimed he selected Brown’s home because Brown was “an open-door policy kind of guy.”

According to the California Highway Patrol, Steven Seeley, 51, was arrested April 19 after breaking into Brown’s mansion in Sacramento. On Sunday, speaking to KCRA, Seeley stated he heard what he thought was a large cat roaring nearby, and ran into Brown’s home through a side door. He asserted, “He’s an open-door policy kind of guy, so I figured the door would be unlocked, or else I wouldn’t have ran over there if I thought the door would be locked.” (Read more from “Hilarious: Homeless Man Says He Broke into Jerry Brown’s House Because Brown’s ‘an Open-Door Policy Kind of Guy'” HERE)

Sacramento Man Arrested for Trespassing at Governor’s Mansion

By KCRA. A homeless man was arrested for trespassing at the Governor’s Mansion in Sacramento, but not until two days after walking through an unlocked door.

In a jailhouse interview, Steven Seeley, 51, said he ran inside Gov. Jerry Brown’s home April 19 through an unlocked side door after being frightened outside. . .

Seeley said he heard what sounded like the roar of a large wild cat from a nearby garbage can before running into the home. He also said he was never approached by security before or after he entered the mansion.

Though he’s never been diagnosed with a mental illness, Seeley admits he sometimes hears things, but didn’t want to take any chances in case the roar came from a legitimate threat.

CHP confirms that a man who was “behaving erratically” trespassed inside the mansion. (Read more from “Sacramento Man Arrested for Trespassing at Governor’s Mansion” HERE)

Colossal Fake News: NBC Issues Correction on Cohen Wiretapping Report

NBC News had claimed that federal investigators had a “wiretap” on the phones belonging to President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen and that “at least one phone call between a phone line associated with Cohen and the White House was intercepted.”

. . .

NBC News was forced to issue a retraction to their story, writing:

Earlier today, NBC News reported that there was a wiretap on the phones of Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime personal attorney, citing two separate sources with knowledge of the legal proceedings involving Cohen.

But three senior U.S. officials now dispute that, saying that the monitoring of Cohen’s phones was limited to a log of calls, known as a pen register, not a wiretap where investigators can actually listen to calls.

. . .

To make matters even more embarrassing for NBC News, the network tried to downplay its colossal screw-up by calling their retraction an “editor’s note.” (Read more from “Colossal Fake News: Nbc Issues Correction on Cohen Wiretapping Report” HERE)

Trump Gets Massive Nobel Prize News

By Conservative Tribune. . .As amazing news from the Korean peninsula continues to break, it looks increasingly possible that the decades-long hostilities between North and South Korea may finally be resolved in a peaceful manner … and Donald Trump played a major role in the process . . .

“We, the undersigned members of the United States Congress, respectfully nominate President Donald J. Trump to receive the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his work to end the Korean War, denuclearize the Korean Peninsula, and bring peace to the region,” states a letter signed by 18 lawmakers.

“Since taking office, President Trump has worked tirelessly to apply maximum pressure on North Korea to end its illicit weapons program and bring peace to the region,” the official nomination letter continues.

“His Administration successfully united the international community, including China, to impose one of the most successful international sanctions regimes in history.”

Almost nobody predicted that talks in Korea would move as fast as they did, and events have moved so quickly that there is still some doubt about whether or not North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is actually serious about keeping his word. (Read more from “Trump Gets Massive Nobel Prize News” HERE)

House Republicans Nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

By The Guardian. Eighteen House Republicans have nominated Donald Trump for the 2019 Nobel peace prize.

In a letter spearheaded by the Indiana Republican Luke Messer and sent to the Norwegian Nobel committee, the lawmakers claim that Trump should “receive the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his work to end the Korean War, denuclearize the Korean peninsula and bring peace to the region”.

The rules for a Nobel prize nomination are relatively loose. Nominations can only be made by people who belong to a handful of categories, including members of a national legislation body, university professors and former winners of the prize – but there are no other restrictions. In 2018, there were 330 nominees to win the award, which will be announced in December. The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons was the 2017 winner.

The Nobel committee operates under aegis of the government of Norway, but a 2009 justice department memo says the prize and accompanying $1.4m award does not qualify as a “emolument” from a foreign power, as the committee is independent from the government. Trump has previously faced criticism over foreign government spending at his hotels, which scholars have argued is an emolument. The Trump Organization has said that it has given all profits from foreign governments to the US treasury. (Read more from “House Republicans Nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize” HERE)

Former Trump Campaign Consultant Explodes on Dem Senate Aides

By Daily Mail. A former campaign communications adviser to Donald Trump blew up at Democratic U.S. Senate aides on Tuesday at the end of a behind-the-scenes grilling connected to their wide-ranging Russia investigation.

New York-based political consultant Michael Caputo said he has spent $125,000 on attorneys to help him navigate the committee’s demands for documents and testimony, ruining his children’s economic future and forcing him to sell his family home.

Calling the probe a ‘witch hunt,’ Caputo demanded to know who is funding a secretive effort to continue digging into unsubstantiated allegations that Trump has ties with the Kremlin.

‘What America needs is an investigation of the investigators,’ he said. ‘I want to know: Who is paying for the spies’ work and coordinating this attack on President Donald Trump?’

‘I want to know who cost us so much money, who crushed our kids, who forced us out of our home, all because you lost an election. I want to know because [G-d] Damn you to Hell.’

Michael Caputo Says ‘It’s Clear’ Mueller Investigators Focused on Russia Collusion

By CNN. After being interviewed by special counsel investigators on Wednesday, former aide to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign Michael Caputo told CNN that Robert Mueller’s team is “focused on Russia collusion.”

“It’s clear they are still really focused on Russia collusion,” Caputo said, adding, “They know more about the Trump campaign than anyone who ever worked there.”

Caputo, who advised the Trump campaign on communications in 2016, has long insisted he has no information about collusion between Trump’s team and Russia. He spoke with Senate intelligence investigators on Tuesday for their Russia probe and outlined the differences between Congress’ inquiries and the special counsel’s . . .

Caputo lived and worked in Russia in the 1990s and later did business with Russian companies, including Gazprom, the Kremlin-controlled energy giant. As a Republican consultant, Caputo worked with Trump adviser Roger Stone and Paul Manafort, the former campaign chairman. He denies any wrongdoing regarding Russia. Caputo is a longtime ally of Stone’s, a close associate of Trump who has come under scrutiny in the Russian investigation because of Stone’s contacts with WikiLeaks during the campaign. Tech Giants Previously Accused of NSA Collusion Now Slam U.S. Government over Encryption Backdoors

By ZD Net. A coalition of Silicon Valley tech giants has doubled down on its criticism of encryption backdoors following a proposal that would give law enforcement access to locked and encrypted devices.

The group, which focuses on efforts to reform government surveillance, said in a statement that it continues to advocate for strong encryption, and decried attempts to undermine the technology.

“Recent reports have described new proposals to engineer vulnerabilities into devices and services — but they appear to suffer from the same technical and design concerns that security researchers have identified for years,” the statement read. . .

But security experts and cryptographers say that any kind of backdoor can’t be done without it risking being abused or exploited by hackers — and criticized Ozzie’s plan as flawed . . .

The tech coalition includes Microsoft — Ozzie’s former employer — as well as Apple, Facebook, and Google, and Verizon and Yahoo’s parent company Oath — all of which were hit by allegations of complicity with the government’s surveillance efforts. Judge Keeps Lawsuit Alive Claiming the NSA Spied on Everyone in SLC During the 2002 Olympics

By Fox 13. A federal judge has kept alive a lawsuit alleging the National Security Agency spied on everyone in the Salt Lake City area during the 2002 Winter Olympics.

In an order handed down on Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Robert Shelby formally denied a series of motions by both plaintiffs and the NSA until after evidence in the case had been exchanged. He then said motions to either dismiss the case or rule in the plaintiffs favor could then be reconsidered.
