It is a tale as old as time: a criminal identified for arrest and prison does everything possible to avoid contact with authorities. In recent years, many wanted criminals have fled their home country, destination: United States. On former President Joe Biden’s watch, fugitives from justice illegally entered and found sanctuary in the U.S., where many continued their criminal ways.

They are unworthy of our hospitality, yet leftist activists are in court trying to protect literal murderers and rapists from being deported.

When the Department of Homeland Security last week deported 238 illegal aliens and alleged members of Tren De Aragua, a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, from the U.S. to a prison in El Salvador, the anti-American ACLU and the far-left lawfare firm Democracy Forward went to court to stop the deportations. Activist Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court of Washington, D.C. ordered the Trump administration not to remove any violent illegal aliens for 14 days, but the airplanes carrying them were already on their way.

While court actions are ongoing, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) continues to remove wanted criminals still in the U.S. every day.

Like Miguel Antonio Verdugo-Garcia, 49, who is wanted in Mexico for homicide. Sporting a white cable-knit cardigan sweater adorned with Scottie dogs, Verdugo-Garcia was removed from Arizona by ICE officials on March 13. He had been arrested for assault by Glendale Police Department, and the Avondale Police Department arrested him for false report to law enforcement before he was deported. He had previously been removed from the U.S. three times in 2019, according to ICE. Trump Revokes Legal Status for 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans

U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration will revoke the temporary legal status of 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans in the United States, according to a Federal Register notice on Friday, the latest expansion of his crackdown on immigration.

The move, effective April 24, cuts short a two-year “parole” granted to the migrants under former President Joe Biden that allowed them to enter the country by air if they had U.S. sponsors.

Trump, a Republican, took steps to ramp up immigration enforcement after taking office, including a push to deport record numbers of migrants in the U.S. illegally. He has argued that the legal entry parole programs launched under his Democratic predecessor overstepped the boundaries of federal law and called for their termination in a January 20 executive order.

Trump said on March 6 that he would decide “very soon” whether to strip the parole status from some 240,000 Ukrainians who fled to the U.S. during the conflict with Russia. Trump’s remarks came in response to a Reuters report that said his administration planned to revoke the status for Ukrainians as soon as April. UAE Commits to $1.4 Trillion U.S. Investment, White House Says

The United Arab Emirates has committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment framework in the United States after top UAE officials met President Donald Trump this week, the White House said on Friday.

The framework will “substantially increase the UAE’s existing investments in the U.S. economy” in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and manufacturing, the White House said in a statement.

The White House did not outline how UAE investments would reach $1.4 trillion, with some of the deals unveiled as part of the framework having already been announced.

The only fully new deal appeared to be an investment by Emirates Global Aluminium in what would be the first new aluminum smelter in the United States in 35 years, the White House said, adding the plant “would nearly double U.S. domestic aluminum production”.

Justice Department Accuses Judge Overseeing Perkins Coie Case of Bias Against Trump, Urges Recusal

The Justice Department on Friday argued that the federal judge who is overseeing Perkins Coie’s case against President Donald Trump has demonstrated “partiality” against the president, and “animus” toward him.

The DOJ lawyers asked U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell to recuse herself from the case over the appearance of partiality, citing the current lawsuit, which she partially blocked, and other previous rulings, The Hill reported.

The lawsuit challenges an executive order by the president that targeted the Perkins Coie law firm. The order cited the firm’s “dishonest and dangerous activity,” stripping it of its clearances and essentially barring its attorneys from federal buildings.

Perkins Coie previously worked with the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign in 2016 and Fusion GPS to produce the discredited Steele Dossier.

“Reasonable observers may view this Court as incapable of fairly adjudicating these claims against the Commander-In-Chief,” Deputy Associate Attorney General Richard Lawson wrote in the motion. “This Court’s pattern of hostility toward President Trump is not limited to his supporters. Report: U.S. Army Special Operations Issues Threat Advisory Over Leftist Attacks On Tesla Owners, Vehicles

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) reportedly issued a “threat advisory” on Thursday warning of “possible threats” from radical left-wing activists against the command’s Tesla owners.

In screenshots of the alert obtained by Federalist contributor and retired Army ranger John A. Lucas, the USASOC informed service members of increased “concerns” regarding recent attacks against individuals who own Teslas and dealerships that carry the vehicle.

Within the past few months, extreme left-wing anarchists have been waging a rhetorical and physical war against the electric car company to protest its founder Elon Musk’s role in identifying waste, fraud, and abuse throughout the federal government. These acts of left-wing “resistance” have ranged from harassing Tesla owners to outright vandalizing and destroying Tesla vehicles and dealerships.

The Trump Justice Department and FBI have pledged to crack down on what Attorney General Pam Bondi has referred to as incidents of “domestic terrorism.” Three individuals were indicted by the DOJ on Thursday for allegedly destroying Tesla properties.

Rogue Judge Orders Immediate Return Of World’s Most Violent Gang Members

A federal judge in Washington DC has attempted to block the president from deporting illegal alien members of a murderous Venezuelan prison gang. No, really. President Trump had the planeload of tattooed murderers flown off to El Salvador, citing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. The act, passed by the American founders, allows the president to summarily deport illegal alien rapist murderers but only in the unlikely event a mean-spirited corruptocrat suffering from dementia should one day become president and allow said murderers to cross the border in droves at the behest of anti-American leftist conspirators while the media pretends it isn’t happening because the only book any of them has ever read is by a communist named Howard Zinn who believes the United States should never have existed in the first place. The founding fathers were nothing if not far-sighted.

However, federal District Judge Rufus T. Shnooklepuss declared that Trump did not have the authority to deport illegal aliens who are members of one of the most violent gangs on the face of the earth, and ordered that the gangsters’ plane be immediately returned to the United States or, failing that, an alternative group of alien gangsters should be found to replace the ones who were deported, or, failing that, an equal number of American gangsters should be taught to speak Spanish and armed with guns and axes so that the crimes the Venezuelan gangsters would have committed do not go undone. Federal Gov’t Agencies Quietly Went On Massive Spending Sprees Under Biden, Report Finds

A host of federal government agencies have overseen massive spending for years while greatly expanding their workforces, according to an OpenTheBooks report.

Annual spending across multiple federal government agencies has exploded over the past several years, often outpacing growth of staff and even inflation rates, according to a report from OpenTheBooks first obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The report comes amid President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to crack down on wasteful spending across the federal government and reduce the federal workforce to save American taxpayers money.

The Department of Commerce (DOC)’s annual spending grew from roughly $13.1 million in 2021 — the year former President Joe Biden took office — to an estimated $20.5 million in 2024, OpenTheBooks’ report found. Meanwhile, the DOC’s workforce declined from 53,939 in 2020 to 47,650 in 2024.

“Time after time, at agency after agency, we see spending skyrocketing since 2000, even when headcounts grew modestly and stayed flat,” OpenTheBooks wrote in the report. “In this most recent batch of examples, we also saw Biden administration spending priorities reveal themselves through the outlays at key agencies”

The Biden-Harris administration notably oversaw massive government spending, with a large sum going toward costly COVID-19 relief funding in the aftermath of the pandemic. Biden’s administration also funneled millions of dollars into various left-wing initiatives such as programs related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and environmental justice. Joe And Jill Biden Reportedly Try To Quietly Weasel Back Into Democratic Leadership

After being forced to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, former President Joe Biden wants back into politics and wants to help the Democratic party rebuild, people close to the politician told NBC News.

The 82-year-old hasn’t been heard from much since leaving the White House in January, but according to NBC News, who spoke to people close to the former president, Biden has told multiple Democratic leaders he is willing to raise funds, campaign and do whatever it takes to help the party fight back against Donald Trump. The former president met with newly elected Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin in February to offer up his help to the party, sources said.

“Who’s going to want Joe Biden back in the game?” a significant Biden supporter, granted anonymity to speak freely about the former president, told NBC News.

Former First Lady Jill Biden is also making herself available to the party to help with rebuilding, a person close to her told the outlet.

The Dems’ Reported Pivot on Trans Issues Will Be a Brutal Transition

You’ve all seen Titanic, right? The ship crashes into the iceberg, and everyone dies. You know the ending, and the same sentiment applies to this reported discussion among congressional Democrats on how to smooth over their position on transgender issues. They threw their lot in with this hyper-niche space in public policy. You know the reasoning behind it was to take the mantle of the new civil rights era—Democrats wanted a Rosa Parks moment. Instead, what they got was at least two-thirds of the country viewing their stance as weird, along with communication breakdowns and overall strangeness regarding accepting biological men pretending to be women.

No one wants these people in women’s sports, changing in front of girls, or being around exclusive spaces for biological females. The talking points and reasoning to defend this aberrant behavior were soaked in lunacy, science fiction, and gobbledygook talk about how gender is a social creation. No, it’s science. There are only two genders—anything else is whacko talk or defending mental illness. Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE), the first transgender member of Congress, is spearheading this pivot, which you know will fail. Any move toward moderation or reconsideration is considered an act of surrender with the far-left, who can’t stand being proven wrong by conservatives, moderates, independents—pretty much the whole country—on this subject. Democrats having a debate, reevaluating their boneheaded position on this topic—it’s never going to happen (via NOTUS):

Democrats are starting to have serious conversations around how to handle transgender rights politically ahead of next year’s elections — after, by their own admission, they were caught flat-footed on the issue in 2024.

The upshot, so far: Don’t be so dogmatic that you risk alienating voters and allies.

Rep. Sarah McBride, the first openly trans member of Congress, and her staff have spoken to her Democratic colleagues about the topic, NOTUS has learned. The Delaware congresswoman has cautioned Democrats that the tenor and tone of their comments — particularly on either supporting and questioning trans athletes in sports, which is where most of the debate has focused — might inflame and splinter factions instead of being productive.

“We have to create more space in our tent. If, for instance, we want to have a majoritarian coalition — not just electorally, but specifically on issues around trans rights — that, by necessity, is going to have to include people who have a range of thoughts,” McBride told NOTUS.

“A binary choice between being all-on or all-off is not constructive for anyone,” McBride continued. “It impedes the very needed path toward winning electorally, winning hearts and minds and, most importantly, winning progress.”

Columbia University Agrees to Make Policy Changes After Trump Admin Pulls Funding

Columbia University revealed they were making several policy changes such as allowing campus police officers to make arrests, rules regarding protesting, and discipline, among others.

In a memo from the university, it was revealed that Columbia was working “hard to address the legitimate concerns” from within and outside the university community regarding “harassment, and antisemitic acts.” The memo from the university comes after the Trump administration revealed that it had cancelled roughly $400 million worth of grants and contracts to the Columbia.

“Columbia University has, throughout its storied history, faced many challenges and obstacles,” the memo said. “We have worked hard to address the legitimate concerns raised both from within and without our Columbia community, including by our regulators, with respect to the administration, harassment, and antisemitic acts our Jewish community has faced in the wake of October 7, 2023. We are proud to share key parts of our comprehensive strategy to make our campus safer, more welcoming, and respectful of the rights of all. Columbia is announcing several additional actions as part of that effort.”

The memo clarified that “students who violated” the university rules during their involvement in the first anti-Israel encampment at Columbia University in the spring of 2024, or “at Hamilton Hall have been suspended, expelled, or had their degrees temporarily revoked.”

In April 2024, an anti-Israel encampment was established at Columbia University, which resulted in arrests and students being suspended. A second one was established, and remained until the New York Police Department conducted a raid after protesters seized control of Hamilton Hall.
