Attorney General Merrick Garland talks a lot about voting rights. In August, he promised the Justice Department would “use every authority we have to protect the right to vote.” In 2021, he said the department would “rededicate” itself to “enforcing federal law to protect the franchise for all eligible voters.”

This past week, a handful of Pennsylvania counties disenfranchised voters by choosing to count illegal ballots that canceled out legal votes. It’s a massive scandal.

As Democrat Sen. Bob Casey is refusing to concede a losing race to his Republican challenger Dave McCormick, officials in Bucks, Philadelphia, Monroe, Erie, Chester, and Montgomery Counties have flouted the law in an apparent attempt to deliver Casey some extra votes. But the DOJ is nowhere to be seen.

In Bucks County, election officials decided to count more than 400 undated or improperly dated ballots, and 100 ballots that failed to meet signature requirements. In Philadelphia County, officials are accused of counting more than 600 invalid ballots that failed to comply with the date requirement, as well as 663 ballots missing signatures from election officials, 227 ballots missing a reason for casting a provisional ballot, and 50 with insufficient voter affidavits.

In Monroe County, McCormick sued the elections board for 42 ballots that didn’t meet date requirements and 24 provisional ballots lacking voter signatures. Erie County and Chester County face lawsuits for counting 120 ballots and 58 ballots, respectively, that lack election officials’ signatures. In Montgomery County, McCormick is suing the elections board for counting 414 provisional ballots that lack signatures from either the voter or election officials. Biden Spends Last Months In Office Gambling Risk Of Nuclear War With Russia

President Joe Biden may just have made his riskiest wager yet in the years-long Russia-Ukraine war — while incoming President Donald Trump continues to call for a swift end to the conflict.

Ukrainian forces launched U.S.-provided long-range missiles into Russian territory on Tuesday after recently receiving approval from Biden officials, though the White House refuses to publicly confirm that it gave Kyiv permission to do so, according to various reports. While it is unclear how U.S. officials are betting the new move will work in Ukraine’s favor, it’s unlikely to quell tensions or make it any easier to end the war in the coming months, something Trump has vowed to do by January.

“It’s essential to understand,” former Pentagon official Elbridge Colby said on Monday, that the Biden administration “is leaving a terrible situation [for Trump].”

Until this weekend, Biden and his administration have refused to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles for deep strikes inside Russia, citing that it would risk escalating the war, prompt Russia to respond erratically and fail to provide Ukraine with any tangible strategic advantage. That changed over the weekend when reports emerged that U.S. officials gave Kyiv the green light to start using American surface-to-surface Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMs) for such strikes, apparently at least in part due to Russia’s decision to deploy North Korean soldiers along the front lines of the war.

Biden Admin Obstructing Investigations Into Trafficking, Exploitation Of Migrant Children, Report Finds

The Biden-Harris administration is obstructing congressional and state investigations into the exploitation and trafficking of unaccompanied alien children, a Senate committee report found.

Louisiana GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy, a ranking member of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, released a report Tuesday that accuses the Biden-Harris administration of widespread “failures” that ultimately led to widespread abuse and exploitation of migrant children. The report also accused the White House of “stonewalling” Congressional oversight into its handling of these unaccompanied alien children and obstructing other state investigations.

“When Ranking Member Cassidy attempted to hold the Biden-Harris administration accountable, the administration made every effort to cover its failures up and to stonewall each new oversight effort — a course of action that continues today,” the report said.

“The administration also refuses to comply with state-level efforts to investigate and prevent the trafficking and exploitation of [unaccompanied children] caused by its own weak sponsor vetting policies and the chaos,” the report said.

The report cited instances when Cassidy’s office “routinely” submitted letters to Health and Human Services (HHS) requesting information on the care that unaccompanied children receive within the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the vetting of sponsors, and how ORR operates to ensure these migrant children are safe after their release. However, the report claims HHS would repeatedly take months to respond to these requests — and sometimes the department would not respond at all. Diddy’s longtime girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, accused Diddy of assault and sexual abuse, and offered Diddy a deal to keep the information away from the press. Diddy pushed back on the offer, according to Variety, which prompted Ventura to file a lawsuit against him.

The rapper’s refusal to comply effectively triggered Ventura to expose a side of the star that the world had never seen before. Within 24 hours of the legal filing, the disgraced rapper settled with Ventura. That singular move set off a tidal wave of legal drama. It ultimately exposed details of his alleged “freak off” parties, inspired over 120 victims to come forward with criminal and civil suits against him, and landed him behind bars, where he currently remains awaiting trial.

Diddy’s own response to the Ventura case could prove to be his undoing.

Lawyer Marc Agnifilo said Ventura offered Diddy $30 million for rights to a tell-all book that would expose her claims against him, but Diddy refused to comply, according to Variety. Ventura doesn’t seem to have been the first person to come forward, and numerous professionals interviewed by the Daily Caller agreed that in all likelihood, other complaints were filed against the star over the course of the past several years. Kamala Harris Way in Front of 2028 Democrat Presidential Contenders

Kamala Harris leads her closest potential 2028 Democrat presidential contender by 33 points, according to polling from Echelon Insights. . .

On one side of the scenario, you can see why Democrat voters still support her, even after her decisive loss to President-elect Donald Trump two weeks ago. She still has the best name recognition. She’s been vice president for four years. She never worked at McDonald’s. She received 74 million votes. You can also argue that with only a little over 100 days to pull a campaign together, she did pretty well.

On the other side of the argument is the fact that Democrats have a pretty weak field. Newsom has done a terrible job governing California. Buttigieg is a weirdo who failed as transportation secretary. Walz is even weirder. Shapiro is Jewish, and that’s a problem for the pro-Hamas wing of the party.

Above all, who gazes upon Kamala Harris and sees her as ready for another run at a presidential campaign? Her first attempt to become president in 2020 was such a disaster she ended up dropping out before a single vote was cast. And while you can sympathize with Kamala being thrust into the middle of the 2024 campaign without much notice, one fact remains: she never improved as a candidate. Poll: Majority of Americans Think Sex Change Surgeries for Minors Should Be Illegal

A majority of Americans expressed that sex change surgeries and drugs for minors should be illegal, according to a poll.

In a Napolitan News Service poll conducted on November 13, 2024, that surveyed 1,000 registered voters, 72 percent of respondents expressed that it should be illegal to “provide children” under the age of 18 years old with “puberty blockers, drugs, and/or surgery” so that they can “switch” genders.

Eighteen percent of respondents expressed that it should be legal, while ten percent said they were not sure.

When asked if “biological males who identify as women” should be allowed to compete in women’s sports, 75 percent of respondents said no, 13 percent expressed support for biological men playing in women’s sports, and 11 percent of respondents said they were unsure. WOKE SPORTS: NBA Star Fined $100,000 for “Derogatory” Homosexual Comment During Interview

The NBA fined Hornets star LaMelo Ball $100,000 after he made an anti-gay comment during an interview following Charlotte’s 115-114 upset win over the struggling Bucks at home Saturday.

Ball had been talking about the last play of the game, where Grant Williams successfully defended Giannis Antetokounmpo at the top of the key and forced a contested jumper for the win — which missed off the front of the rim.

“We loaded up,” Ball said, before adding “no homo” while lowering his voice.

The NBA released a statement with their fine Sunday, saying Ball made “an offensive and derogatory comment” postgame.

Ball, who has dealt with injuries throughout his career after taking the Rookie of the Year award, is in the early stages of a career year, averaging 29.6 points, 6.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds through the first 12 games while helping Charlotte collect a 5-7 record. MSNBC Guest Who Went After Pete Hegseth Facing Backlash From All Sides

Earlier this week, President-elect Donald Trump selected Pete Hegseth to serve as his Secretary of Defense. The reaction was swift, with the criticism in many cases downright nasty and ugly. MSNBC, which has been taking Trump’s win pretty hard and has suffered from plummeting post-election ratings, had on multiple guests who threw Hegseth under the bus by accusing him of being a “white supremacist.”

During “All In with Chris Hayes,” Sherrilyn Ifill, a lawyer and professor at Howard University, who also served as the former president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, made such a claim.

Ifill also focused on Hegseth’s role as a Fox News host, with Hayes jumping in to clarify that he was a “Fox & Friends Weekend” host, which Ifill called “an important distinction,” rather than mention how Hegseth is also a decorated veteran. “This is someone who, you know, is known to be a white supremacist, known to be an extremist, whose platform, whose book is basically about his opposition to the advancement of black officers to the top brass,” she claimed in a clip that has been circulating. She would later go on to acknowledge that Hegseth is a veteran, but claimed that that “is simply inefficient.”

That book, “War on Warriors,” which came out earlier this year and which we had a chance to review after interviewing Hegseth, specifically addresses the dangers and concerns of a woke military. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) have raised such concerns. The lawmakers’ report also noted that the military is less extreme than the population.

There is also one particularly memorable chapter of Hegseth’s book that focuses on the care and concern he had for his fellow National Guardsmen who were black and were targeted by violent mobs shouting racial slurs while they were defending Washington, DC during the 2020 riots.

Trump Transition Team Compiling List of Current and Former U.S. Military Officers for Possible Courts-Martial

The Trump transition team is compiling a list of senior current and former U.S. military officers who were directly involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan and exploring whether they could be court-martialed for their involvement, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the plan.

Officials working on the transition are considering creating a commission to investigate the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan, including gathering information about who was directly involved in the decision-making for the military, how it was carried out, and whether the military leaders could be eligible for charges as serious as treason, the U.S. official and person with knowledge of the plan said.

“They’re taking it very seriously,” the person with knowledge of the plan said. . .

Matt Flynn, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense for counternarcotics and global threats, is helping lead the effort, the sources said. It is being framed as a review of how the U.S. first got into the war in Afghanistan and how the U.S. ultimately withdrew.

“Matt Flynn has nothing to do with the Trump transition team, much less leading any review concerning military justice matters,” said Mark S. Zaid, Flynn’s attorney. Bureaucrats Say Trump’s Plan to Destroy Administrative State Might Trigger Mass Exodus

By Breitbart. Federal bureaucrats might leave their jobs early out of fear that President-elect Donald Trump will follow through on his promise to purge the government of rogue and corrupt actors within the administrative state.

The potential abandonment would greatly help Trump’s incoming cabinet secretaries clean up Washington. Trump transition adviser Mark Paoletta asked members of the administrative state on Wednesday to “leave” the bureaucracy or “be fired.”

The term “administrative state” specifically describes the phenomenon of unaccountable and unelected administrative agencies, including the national security apparatus, exercising power to create and enforce their own rules. The administrative state uses its rule-making ability to essentially usurp the separation of powers between the three branches of government by creating a so-called fourth branch of government not formed by the Constitution.

Many unelected bureaucrats within the administrative state also use their position to inflict their own agenda on citizens. For instance, before the “laptop from hell” story broke in 2020, 51 intel officials signed a letter that insinuated Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. The letter was peddled by Politico under the title “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.” The 51 signatories, however, seemingly knew the Politico story was false at the time because the FBI had the laptop that Hunter abandoned at a Delaware computer repair shop. President Joe Biden cited the story during a 2020 presidential debate with Trump to discredit the laptop’s contents. The story was reportedly planted by Secretary of State Antony Blinken for Biden to use during the event.

DNC Attacks Far-Left Democrats for Election Losses, Does Not Want to Be ‘Freak Show’ Party

The establishment wing of the Democrat party is trying to prevent the radical left from controlling the Democratic National Committee (DNC) after Republicans reclaimed the Senate, White House, and maintained control of the House.

The infighting underscores the lack of leadership among Democrat ranks. The bruising turmoil has reached such a pitch that Democrats have begun to summon enough courage to leak negative comments about Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), the once-championed leader of the party.

Democrats will have to elect a new DNC chair in the coming weeks, but that process would appear to demand a consensus on why Trump won in a landslide. A unified consensus does not appear in sight.

Establishment Democrats want their radical left allies to stop pushing the intersectional politics of wokeism, but many on the far left doubled down. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), for example, believes Democrats lost big because Hispanic and black voters are misogynists.

“The progressive wing of the party has to recognize — we all have to recognize — the country’s not progressive, and not to the far left or the far right.
