Kentucky Man’s Organs Were Nearly Harvested. Then Doctors Realized He Was Still Alive

The organs of a Kentucky donor who had been declared dead were ready to be harvested — but then doctors made a startling discovery: he was still alive.

“He was moving around — kind of thrashing. Like, moving, thrashing around on the bed,” Natasha Miller, an organ preservationist in the operating room during the alarming October 2021 incident, told NPR. “And then when we went over there, you could see he had tears coming down. He was crying visibly.”

Miller, who works at Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA), told the outlet that two doctors refused to perform the organ retrieval after realizing that the donor had wrongly been declared dead.

“The procuring surgeon, he was like, ‘I’m out of it. I don’t want to have anything to do with it,’ ” Miller said. “It was very chaotic. Everyone was just very upset.”

The patient was 36-year-old Anthony Thomas “TJ” Hoover II, who had been admitted to Baptist Health hospital in Richmond, Kentucky earlier that day . . . Ultimately, the organ retrieval was canceled. Report: Border Patrol Agents Threaten To Quit After ‘Four Years of Hell’ if Kamala Harris Wins the Presidency

U.S. Border Patrol agents are reportedly sick and tired of the Biden-Harris administration’s leadership.

Numerous agents are threatening to quit if Vice President Kamala Harris (D) is elected president in November, the New York Post reported on Tuesday.

One agent said, “I’m not doing this s–t again … four years of hell,” while another told the Post there are many among them who will go ahead and retire but if former President Donald Trump wins the election, they will stay.

“The Border Patrol has suffered massive turnover and plummeting morale under the Biden-Harris administration, insiders say,” according to the report.

Regarding Harris’s border security plan, the vice president has promised 1,500 extra border agents, Breitbart News reported September 26. However, that “adds just one single on-shift border patrol officer for every five miles of the 1,933-mile southern border,” the article noted. GA Judge Rules Election Officials Must Rubber Stamp Results Even if They Are ‘Non-Sensical’

AGeorgia judge ruled Monday that election officials must certify election results even if the results show “more votes than voters.”

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ruled that “no election superintendent (or member of a board of elections and registration) may refuse to certify or abstain from certifying election results under any circumstance,” even if there is a “non-sensical result.” McBurney did, however, agree that election superintendents have a responsibility to investigate discrepancies and are entitled to review election-related materials as part of this process.

Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections (FCBRE) member Julie Adams, who brought the suit, argued (as described by McBurney’s ruling) in part that “it is proper for her, as a co-election superintendent who has taken an oath to ‘prevent any fraud, deceit, or abuse’ to exercise discretion in certifying election results — a conclusion, which, if correct, would empower her to refuse to certify if she believed the results to be incorrect or not sufficiently reliable to merit certification.”

The Democratic Party of Georgia threatened Adams with legal action after she did not certify the results of the March presidential preference primary. Adams initially filed a suit in May seeking clarification about her role. Adams said she refused to certify the results after she was allegedly denied access to election-related documents and asked that the court clarify her role to be discretionary — meaning members should only certify the results once they are confident the election was administered lawfully — rather than ministerial — meaning members must rubber-stamp results regardless of any concerns.

Kamala Campaign Drops Bombshell With Mention of Never-Before-Talked-About ‘Tax’

Kamala Harris has been promising a lot of people a lot of money, in her campaign to be voted in to the White House next month. . .

She wants to raise the inheritance tax, destroying many small businesses, raise taxes on companies, and “rich” people. She’s also copied President Donald Trump’s plan for not taxing tips. . .

In campaign’s fundraising email on Wednesday announced a “brass tax.”

The email states, “Let’s get down to brass tax, Felicia. We’ve got our final FEC deadline tonight at midnight. It’s the last chance we have to show the strength of this movement before Election Day, so I’m asking folks directly to give what they can.”

But wait, this doesn’t sound like a “tax” proposal, and it’s not, it’s a solicitation for donations.

The “tax” likely is just a mistake, much like the mistakes that appear in Harris’ many word salad answers, and the “mistakes” of Tim Walz when he tries to remember his military career, or his travels, or his family’s encounter with IFV, and more. More Democrats or Republicans in America? New Poll Has Surprising Answer

Just as the 2024 presidential election vote is under way, with mail voting and early voting already taking place in a number of states, a new poll shows there are more Americans who identify as Republican than as Democrat.

With the poll showing 31% of respondents to Gallup identify as Republican, to 28% considering themselves Democrats, a report from Trending Politics News said the numbers show “a significant shift in political affiliations since mid-September, causing potential challenges for Democrats ahead of the crucial vote.”

The Republican number is up four points from the last poll, while Democrats were down three. Independents, although down by 1%, still were the leaders, at 41%. . .

It’s now turned into a party of elites, who even had the power to toss Joe Biden, picked by primary voters to be the candidate, under the bus and replace him with Kamala Harris.

The plunge in Democrat numbers, the report said, “comes at a critical time as both parties ramp up efforts to secure votes before Election Day. Analysts suggest that economic concerns, inflation, and dissatisfaction with the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of domestic issues may be driving voters away from the Democratic Party.” (Read more from “More Democrats or Republicans in America? Trump-Appointed Judge Orders Alabama To Stop Effort To Remove Non-Citizens From Voter Rolls

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered Alabama officials to stop a program meant to remove non-citizens from the state’s voter rolls, dealing a blow to local efforts to prevent non-citizen participation in elections.

Alabama and the Alabama Secretary of State must cease efforts to remove non-citizens from the state’s voter rolls between now and the Nov. 5 election and must also give guidance to counties in the state to quickly restore many of the voters who have already been taken off, according to an order issued by U.S. District Judge Anna Manasco of the Northern District of Alabama. Manasco had been appointed to the court by former President Donald Trump in May 2020.

“This action sends a clear message that the Justice Department will work to ensure that the rights of eligible voters are protected,” Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division stated in a press release. “The Justice Department remains steadfast in our resolve to protect voters from unlawful removal from the registration rolls and to ensure that states comply with the mandate of federal law.”

Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen, a Republican, announced in August that his office had identified 3,251 individuals who were registered to vote in the state but had also been issued non-citizen identification numbers from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Allen at that time instructed county officials to immediately take the necessary steps to remove all non-citizens from voter rolls. Fox News Claims Harris Campaign Tried to Steal Time From the Interview — Then Had VP Show Up Late

Fox News “Special Report” host Bret Baier claimed Wednesday that Kamala Harris’ campaign team pared down the allotted time he had with her just before a highly anticipated interview — and then had the vice president show up late.

Baier, a veteran political journalist, compared the Harris campaign’s tactics to a football team “icing the kicker” before an important field goal attempt.

“So, we were supposed to start at 5 p.m. — this was the time they gave us, originally. We’re going to do 25 or 30 minutes,” the host explained.

“They came in and said, ‘Well, maybe 20 [minutes]. So, it was already getting whittled down,” Baier added.

Workers Forced to Stay at Factory Drowned During Hurricane Helene — While CEO Snuck Out and Survived: Scathing Lawsuit

The family of a Tennessee factory worker who was killed during Hurricane Helene is suing the company and its CEO — claiming that the bosses sneaked out of the factory to escape catastrophic weather conditions while they ordered employees to stay.

Johnny Peterson, 55, was one of two workers at Impact Plastics who are now confirmed dead in flooding that engulfed the factory in the rural town of Erwin on Sept. 27. Of 11 employees who were swept away, five were rescued and another four remain missing, according to reports.

According to an explosive lawsuit filed by Peterson’s family on Monday in Tennessee state court, the facility’s managers denied employees’ pleas to leave work as the hurricane bore down on the area.

That’s despite the fact that workers began receiving notifications from the National Weather Service around 10 a.m. urging all who could to evacuate to higher ground, according to the suit.

Liz Cheney Contacted Controversial J6 Witness on Encrypted App Behind Lawyer’s Back, Messages Show

While vice chairwoman of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, former Rep. Liz Cheney used an encrypted phone app to directly and indirectly communicate around defense counsel –and possibly ethical rules — with a witness who would later change her testimony in shocking fashion, according to evidence obtained by congressional investigators and Just the News.

Cheney’s Signal communications with witness Cassidy Hutchinson on June 6, 2022 and her friend, Alyssa Farah Griffin, were recently obtained by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee that has identified significant problems with the original Democrat-run inquiry into the Jan. 6 incident.

The communications are now raising fresh concerns about the ethical conduct of that Democrat-run investigation. At the time of the communication, Hutchinson was represented by attorney Stefan Passantino, who told Just the News he did not authorize the contacts with Cheney and was not aware of them until contacted by Just the News.

Cheney is a licensed lawyer in Washington D.C. where the DC Bar rules state unequivocally that “a lawyer shall not communicate or cause another to communicate about the subject of the representation with a person known to be represented by another lawyer in the matter, unless the lawyer has the prior consent of the lawyer representing such other person or is authorized by law or a court order to do so.”

Loudermilk told Just the News that the communications indicate that Cheney defied her ethical responsibilities and may have influenced a witness outside of her lawyer’s presence, eventually causing Hutchinson to switch lawyers.
