Sweet Sixteen Upset: 16 Female Athletes Sue NCAA to Bar Transgender Competitors

Sixteen female current and former athletes from across the country last week filed a lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletic Association, accusing it of violating their Title IX rights by allowing males to compete in girls’ and women’s sports and to use locker rooms designated for females.

Filed March 14 in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, the lawsuit aims to disqualify biological males from competing against female athletes going forward. It also calls for requiring the NCAA to strip transgender athletes of any awards given to them in girls’ and women’s competitions and award them instead to their female rivals.

Riley Gaines—formerly a swimmer for the University of Kentucky—is one of the 16 women pressing the lawsuit. She is best-known for tying for fifth place with University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in the 200-yard NCAA freestyle championship in 2022.

Along with eight other swimmers, Gaines holds the NCAA responsible for “destroying female safe spaces” by permitting transgenders access to women’s locker rooms without their consent. (Read more from “Sweet Sixteen Upset: 16 Female Athletes Sue NCAA to Bar Transgender Competitors” HERE)

Border Patrol Chief: Texas Border Law Won’t Harm Strong Work With TX Officials or Keep Us From Doing Our Job

During an interview with CBS News on Thursday, Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens responded to a question on the Texas border law by stating that the Border Patrol works very well with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the law won’t stop Border Patrol from doing its job, and he thinks Border Patrol will continue to work well with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

CBS News Immigration and Politics Reporter Camilo Montoya-Galvez asked, “The State of Texas right now is asking federal courts to allow it to enforce a law known as S.B. 4 — I’m sure you’re familiar with it — which would allow the state to arrest migrants on criminal charges and to order them to go back to Mexico. Would that law make the situation worse or better?”

Illegal Aliens Arrested for Alleged Kidnapping and Sexual Assault in Florida

Three illegal aliens from Guatemala, identified as Andres Felipe Morales, Darinel Ordonez Jimenez, and Marcos Felipe Ramirez, are facing charges of kidnapping and sexual assault following a disturbing incident in Palm Beach County, Florida.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was walking along a sidewalk when the three suspects approached her in a white pickup truck. One of the men forcibly seized the woman from behind, placed her in a chokehold, and forcibly placed her into the truck. Subsequently, the perpetrators allegedly subjected the victim to sexual assault while driving her to multiple locations, before she managed to escape.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting concerns about public safety and the enforcement of immigration laws. Andres Felipe Morales was previously stopped by police for driving without a license in January.

Despite the encounter with law enforcement earlier this year, Morales was not turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, according to reports from WPTV 5 News.

In response to the arrests, local officials have reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing justice for the victim and holding the illegal aliens accountable.

‘Is This Right Wing?’: Elon Musk Lays Out His Personal Beliefs

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk voiced his confusion over political partisanship in a post shared via his X platform, saying that while he believed himself to be more of a centrist, his critics seemed certain that he was “right-wing.”

Musk was inspired by another post from Sophie (@netcapgirl) that read, “Going back in time to try to explain how crazy it is that we have a guy who makes electric cars and rocket ships and brain computer interfaces yet a bunch of people hate him because they don’t like his politics or whatever & having them show me a cave drawing of the astronaut meme.”

Musk replied with a list of things that he believed were important to support in society, explaining that what he saw was a “battle to the death” between the rational and “the anti-civilizational woke mind virus.”

“My positions are centrist,” Musk explained, adding, “Secure borders; safe & clean cities; don’t bankrupt America with spending; racism against any race is wrong; no sterilization below age of consent. Is this right-wing?”

Musk replied to his own post with an addendum a short time later, saying “And, although it shouldn’t need to be said, I believe in the Constitution and freedom of speech.”

‘Very, Very Dangerous’: Former Rep. Tells Tucker Americans Should Prepare for ‘Black Swan’ Event (VIDEO)

By Daily Caller. Former Republican Rep. Ron Paul of Texas warned Tucker Carlson in a Tuesday evening interview that a so-called “black swan” event would “pop up” and Americans needed to prepare.

Paul, who served 12 terms in Congress in three stints, discussed the war in Ukraine, attacks on his foreign policy views and the risk of World War III in the interview with Carlson, a co-founder of the Daily Caller and Daily Caller News Foundation. Paul warned that education is necessary for those seeking to get through the event.

“I think we’re reaching this point where some sudden thing is going to happen,” Paul told Carlson. “I believe in that theory of the black swan. It’s going to pop up and it’s not going to be controllable.”

A “black swan event” is defined as an impossibly difficult event to predict that has extremely widespread consequences that challenges basic assumptions, according to the Corporate Finance Institute, which cited 9/11, Brexit, the dotcom crash and the COVID-19 pandemic as examples.

“But people ask, what can they do? I think the most important thing is understand what’s going on,” Paul continued. “It’s education. That’s why I happen to have a home-schooling program that tries to teach this stuff early.”

Biden Energy Official Resigns Amid Push for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives

Asmeret Asefaw Berhe, a top official with the United States Department of Energy, who injected the department’s science office with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives during her tenure, will step down from her position at the end of the month, Fox News Digital reported.

Berhe, a professor of soil biogeochemistry, was nominated in April 2021 by President Biden to serve as the director of the Office of Science within the DOE. She was confirmed by the Senate in a 54-45 vote.

According to the DOE’s website, Berhe’s areas of expertise include “soil science, global change science, and political ecology with an emphasis on how the soil system regulates the earth’s climate and the dynamic two-way relationship between the natural environment and human communities.”

During her time as the head of science, Berhe has pushed her office to adopt “equity and inclusion” initiatives. In October 2022, Berhe implemented a policy requiring grant applicants “to submit a Promoting Inclusive and Equitable Research (PIER) Plan as an appendix to their proposal narrative,” according to the Office of Science’s website. The plan mandated applicants to describe how they would “incorporate to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in their research projects.”

“The Office of Science (SC) is deeply committed to supporting diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible work, research, and funding environments that value mutual respect and personal integrity, and SC is committed to promoting people of all backgrounds, including individuals from groups and communities historically underrepresented in STEM fields and SC activities in recognition of our responsibility to serve the public,” the website read. Not Parody: NYT Declares the ‘Deep State’ Is Not Only Real, but ‘Kind of Awesome’

The New York Times has declared that not only is the “Deep State” real, it “is actually kind of awesome.”

When former President Trump was in the White House, Republican complaints about a “deep state” — entrenched unelected bureaucrats and federal government employees who were actively working to undermine Trump’s agenda — were dismissed as conspiracy theories. But as the 2024 presidential race shapes up to be a rematch of the 2020 election, the NYT has acknowledged — and praised — the “deep state’s” existence.

The video opinion piece, produced by Adam Westbrook and Lindsay Crouse, began with a series of clips of former President Trump promising to dismantle the “deep state” if reelected. The pair followed with a series of comments from federal government employees whom they suggested were a part of the “deep state” and therefore at risk if Trump were reelected. Favoritism, Cover-Ups Reveal Culture of Corruption in US Capitol Police Leadership

Corruption is endemic at the highest levels of the United States Capitol Police, especially among the special agents and officers who serve in the department’s dignitary protection detail, a Blaze Media investigation has found.

Internal discipline reports show a pattern of officers failing upward. Proven instances of fraud, forgery, theft, perjury, and drunk driving on duty going back to the late 1990s led to promotions rather than dismissals and prosecutions, discipline reports obtained by Blaze Media show.

High-ranking USCP officials, including a present-day deputy chief and an assistant chief, were implicated and faced discipline and possible termination in a fraudulent overtime pay scheme that defrauded the government of tens of thousands of dollars, according to documents obtained by Blaze Media and a former Capitol Police sergeant. A lieutenant involved in the scam left the Capitol Police and now works for the U.S. Senate sergeant at arms. . .

The National Journal story relied in part on the account of Rhoda Henderson, a retired USCP sergeant and whistleblower. In an exclusive interview with Blaze Media, Henderson confirmed that the officers involved were current USCP Assistant Chief Sean Gallagher, current Deputy Chief John Erickson, and Wendy Colmore, who is now director of central operations for the U.S. Senate sergeant at arms.

Gallagher was a captain with the dignitary protection detail and the alleged “ringleader” at the time of the payroll scheme, while Erickson and Colmore were both lieutenants under Gallagher’s command. Biden Administration’s Paperwork Failure Results in Dismissal of 200,000 Deportation Cases

The Biden administration failed to file court papers in hundreds of thousands of deportation cases, which were as a result tossed by judges.

The Department of Homeland Security enforces immigration laws by issuing a Notice to Appear (NTA) to each illegal immigrant and filing it in court. But in approximately 200,000 cases in which NTAs were issued to aliens at the border, triggering the creation of a court date, DHS never filed the actual paper with the court, according to new data obtained by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, an academic group better known as TRAC.

In immigration courts in Houston, Texas, and Miami, Florida, both immigration hotbeds, more than half of their deportation cases have been dismissed for that reason since fiscal year 2021.

“These large numbers of dismissals and what then happens raise serious concerns,” the nonpartisan group, affiliated with Syracuse University, said in its report. The percentage of immigration cases that were dismissed skyrocketed immediately upon President Joe Biden taking office, rising from 0.1% in 2017 and 1.2% in 2019 to 10.6% in 2021.
