GOP Rep.: U.S. is Allowing Hostile Countries to ‘Brainwash’ Next Generation

Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York said that the United States is allowing hostile foreign countries to “brainwash” college students.

Stefanik told WMAL talk show host and Daily Caller Editorial Director Vince Coglianese that while her questioning of then-Harvard President Claudine Gay about anti-Semitism on campus garnered headlines, there was another matter that didn’t get attention. Gay announced she would resign her position as president of Harvard University following multiple allegations of plagiarism and fallout from her testimony.

“We’re allowing our adversaries to spew their propaganda and attempt to brainwash our next generation of students when it comes to what we’re seeing in the rise of antisemitism on campuses,” Stefanik told Coglianese. “I’m very concerned of Qatar money going into Middle Eastern studies departments, and one of the questions I asked the president of Harvard, now former president, that did not get as much media coverage but was very, very important, is account for your foreign dollars, how much.”

“She would not answer the question,” Stefanik said. . .

American City Declares Itself LGBT Sanctuary

The city of Columbia, Missouri, has declared itself a sanctuary for LGBTQ residents. Columbia City Council members passed the ‘LGBTQ Safe Haven’ ordinance in a 6 to 1 vote.

The sanctuary city ordinance includes language “referencing potential future state laws barring bathroom access for transgender individuals or public drag performances,” Columbia Daily Tribune reports.

“Columbia City Council members passed an ordinance by a vote of 6 to 1 that ensured LGBTQ individuals, families, and establishments felt safe within the community,” KRCG 13 reporter Mark Slavit wrote.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hit the jack of all trades this week when she cashed in on a massive payout regarding her controversial stock trades.

In just the span of 92 short days, Pelosi made ten years’ worth of salary through her investment in NVIDIA (NVDA).

Her NVIDIA stock investment soared to a profit of about $1,800,000. Compare that to her annual salary of $175,000 as a political monster.

Over the years, the timing of Pelosi’s stock trades has raised eyebrows, suggesting that her political influence could have scored her insider knowledge.

In 2023, the Democrat saw a 65 percent return on her investments, outweighing the S&P 500’s overall 24 percent gain. Soon after, her fellow party members called for the banning of stock trades by members of Congress.

Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Cop Files Lawsuit Claiming ‘Disability’ Over Not Speaking English

An illegal alien who is accused of killing a police officer has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit after suddenly claiming he has a “disability.” . . .

Illegal migrant Virgilio Aguilar-Mendez is playing the victim card and claiming that his inability to speak English should be considered a disability and a reason for the justice system to take it easy on him despite killing an officer.

The 19-year-old illegal Guatemalan was arrested in May 2023 after allegedly causing the tragic death of St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Michael Kunovich. He was charged with resisting an officer with violence and manslaughter.

As the officer was trying to pat Aguilar-Mendez down, he attempted to flee. Soon after, several officers arrived to help assist the arrest. As Aguilar-Mendez continued to resist, Kunovich tackled the illegal migrant to the ground, struggling to contain him. Aguilar Mendez attempted to take the officer’s taser from his belt.

The struggle lasted for more than six minutes. After other officers handcuffed Aguilar Mendez, Kunovich collapsed and fell to the ground. First responders tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to a nearby hospital. Insanity: Joe Biden Oversees 7.2m Illegal Aliens at Southern Border, Equivalent to 2 Years of U.S. Births

President Joe Biden has overseen a record-breaking level of illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border — a large portion of which is being released directly into American towns and cities.

From February 2021 through January 2024, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data shows that more than 7.2 million illegal aliens have arrived at the nation’s porous southern border.

Thus far in Fiscal Year 2024, with only four full months completed, nearly a million illegal aliens have crossed the southern border. In Fiscal Year 2022, Biden broke records by overseeing close to 2.37 million illegal aliens at the border, and he shattered that record the following fiscal year when 2.47 million arrived.

For perspective, about 3.6 million Americans are born each year. Thus, two years of American births are equivalent to the total number of illegal border crossings Biden has overseen.

Ron DeSantis Vows to Sign Bill Permitting Release of Epstein Documents

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis this week vowed to sign a bill passed by the Florida legislature which would permit the release of documents related to the Florida case of the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The Florida Senate passed Senate Bill 234, which allows for the release of testimony and evidence from the grand jury investigation in 2006.

The bill reads in part:

An act relating to disclosure of grand jury testimony; amending s. 905.27, F.S.; revising the list of persons prohibited from disclosing the testimony of a witness examined before, or the evidence received by, a grand jury; creating an exception for a request by the media or an interested person to the prohibited publishing, broadcasting, disclosing, divulging, or communicating of any testimony of a witness examined before the grand jury, or the content, gist, or import thereof; providing criminal penalties; providing construction; making technical changes; reenacting s. 905.17(1) and (2), F.S., relating to who may be present during a session of a grand jury, to incorporate the amendment made to s. 905.27, F.S., in references thereto; 16 providing an effective date.

Cyberattack on Healthcare Tech Giant Sparks Nationwide Pharmacy Delays

A cyberattack targeting the prominent healthcare tech giant Change Healthcare has triggered widespread disruptions in pharmacies across the United States. The leading prescription processor announced that it was “experiencing a network interruption related to a cyber security issue,” prompting immediate action to safeguard partners and patients by disconnecting its systems.

The extent and specific nature of the cyberattack have not been disclosed by Change Healthcare, leaving pharmacies grappling with outages and delays. According to reports from the Huron Daily Tribune, healthcare provider Scheurer Health in Michigan faced prescription processing challenges at all its family pharmacy locations.

The impact extended to McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas, where the 22nd Medical Group reported a temporary pharmacy outage. Despite acknowledging the inconvenience caused, the medical group assured patients that its team was diligently working to resolve the issue, with an estimated resolution by the following day or later. While the pharmacy remained open, new prescriptions could not be processed due to an “unexpected enterprise-wide MHS GENESIS downtime.”

Canadian Lakes Pharmacy in Michigan also fell victim to the nationwide outage caused by the cyberattack on major prescription processors in North America. The pharmacy acknowledged the ongoing issue, affecting numerous pharmacies since the previous day.

Change Healthcare, being one of the largest healthcare technology companies in the United States, handles orders and patient payments nationwide. The company’s proactive measures, disconnecting its systems to prevent further impact, indicate the severity of the cyber threat.

Leaked Confidential Leftist Document Details Plot to Pressure Republicans Into Protecting Biden’s Radical Green Energy Agenda

A leaked confidential 66-page document from a top environmentalist association obtained exclusively by Breitbart News reveals a plot by supporters of Democrat President Joe Biden’s signature legislative accomplishment to begin a pressure campaign against Republicans to push them to protect green energy subsidies Biden secured for them.

The document, a “February 2024 Board Memo” prepared for board members of the American Clean Power Association, is striking in how specific and aggressive it is in detailing plans for its members to push Republican lawmakers to oppose any GOP effort to repeal all or parts of Biden’s inaptly named Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The IRA, which passed during Biden’s second year as president, did not lower inflation but did aggressively expand government spending, including perhaps most controversially on the left’s radical green energy agenda.

The American Clean Power Association, or ACP, is a trade association made up of companies supportive of or benefitting from the left’s green energy push. On its website, the organization describes itself as a “leading voice of more than 800 companies from across the clean power sector that are committed to meeting America’s national security, economic and climate goals with fast-growing, low-cost, and reliable domestic power.”

This 66-page document obtained by Breitbart News is marked on nearly every page as “ACP Confidential Information.” The first dozen or so pages of it include a breakdown of normal business of a trade association, including discussion about the election of board members and officers of the group, as well as the organization’s financials. The financial report section explains that the group pulls in tens of millions of dollars annually in revenue, and spends tens of millions of dollars per year as well—making this group a powerhouse trade association in the green energy space. The document, for instance, says the trade association’s finance team estimated a total of more than $62 million in revenue in 2023, and expenses at $55.8 million. In short, this group is extremely well-funded—and the document brags about ACP having more than $49 million in cash available on hand to begin 2024.

On page 13, the confidential ACP document reveals that this leftist trade association plans to spend a huge chunk of this extra cash to protect the Biden agenda—and specifically the IRA—from the Republicans on Capitol Hill and from former President Donald Trump should he win the election in November. The recommended expenditure is well into seven figures, with ACP pushing for spending north of $7 million to help keep the IRA in place as it exists now. “Given the mounting reserves, ACP’s strong financial position, and the critical challenges we face in 2024, staff was encouraged to develop options for additional one-time investments the Board could consider at the February Board meeting,” the ACP document reads. “Based on this request, the staff is proposing to spend $7M for a surge campaign, with $5M from ACP’s reserve funds to help implement and insulate the IRA from repeal or harmful revision. Epstein’s New York Mansion Was Equipped With Surveillance Room for Spying on Guests, Lawsuit Reveals

A recent lawsuit filed against Jeffrey Epstein’s closest advisers, personal lawyer Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Kahn, exposed shocking details about the alleged sex trafficker’s New York mansion. The suit, brought forth by two of Epstein’s accusers, Danielle Bensky and Jane Doe 3, revealed a surveillance room was employed to monitor victims and guests within the residence.

Epstein’s modus operandi involved providing his abuse victims with car services and cell phones to meticulously track their movements. The lawsuit contends that this sinister surveillance infrastructure aimed to uncover potentially damaging information about victims and, in some cases, silence them with substantial amounts of “hush money.”

The complaint, filed in Manhattan federal court, characterizes Epstein’s operation as a “complex, sophisticated sex-trafficking venture” that would not have thrived without the complicity of Indyke and Kahn. These advisers are accused of actively participating in the creation of the “complex financial infrastructure” that facilitated Epstein’s sexual abuse of hundreds of teens and young women.

While the lawsuit delves into the role played by Indyke and Kahn, it remains silent on the fate of the surveillance footage gathered within Epstein’s New York mansion. The accusers assert that Indyke and Kahn were “well aware” of Epstein’s abuses and “knowingly and intentionally benefitted” from the illicit operation, prioritizing money and power over legal and ethical considerations.

The lawsuit contends that the complicit actions of Indyke and Kahn allowed Epstein to carry out heinous acts of rape, sexual assault, and coercive sex trafficking against Bensky and Jane Doe 3 successfully. In response, Daniel Weiner, the lawyer representing Indyke and Kahn, issued a statement emphatically rejecting the allegations, stating that neither of his clients has been found guilty of any misconduct in any forum.

Dark Money Group Peddles Viral Disinformation To Frame GOP Senate Candidate As Clueless Elite

A left-wing dark money group masquerading as a Midwestern newspaper selectively clipped the announcement speech for a Wisconsin Senate candidate to frame the businessman as a heartless, clueless elite.

Eric Hovde launched his campaign to unseat Democrat incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin Tuesday. Heartland Signal, a political newspaper based in Chicago, published a 44-second segment from Hovde’s speech when he addressed the crisis on the U.S. southern border.

“It’s not just a humanitarian crisis for our country,” Hovde said. “But do you know how many lives are lost on that journey to get here? How many people’s life savings have been wiped out by the human trafficking cartels? And they’ve lost 100,000 children that they can’t account for.”

“Let me assure you,” Hovde added, “more than a few of them have ended up being sexually trafficked. I know this all too well. My brother and I have homes all over the world, and we have three in Central America that deal with issues like this.”

Heartland Signal, a leftist digital website backed by Democrat donors, posted the clip on X with the caption, “Hovde says he understands the tragedy of children being trafficked through Central America because he owns three homes there.”
