Jim Jordan Affirms “Four Fundamental Facts” About Bidens Amidst FBI Informant Indictment

In the midst of an indictment against Alexander Smirnov, a long-time FBI informant, for allegedly concocting a multimillion-dollar bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, Republican Representative Jim Jordan emphasized that the charges do not alter the “four fundamental facts” tied to Burisma Holdings. The Ukrainian gas company had Hunter Biden on its board, and Joe Biden advocated for the removal of prosecutor Viktor Shokin during his vice presidency.

Jordan outlined the facts as follows: Hunter Biden’s unqualified placement on Burisma’s board, the executives seeking his intervention in D.C., and Joe Biden conditioning aid on the firing of the prosecutor. Despite Smirnov’s indictment and claims of contacts with Russian intelligence, Jordan contends that these revelations do not deviate from the core issues surrounding the Bidens’ involvement with Burisma. The Ohio Republican insists that Smirnov’s case is “what it is” but doesn’t alter the underlying narrative of the Bidens’ connections to the Ukrainian company.

‘Martians Wanted:’ NASA Looking For Crew to Spend One Year Locked in Mars Simulator

Anyone can move to another city, but who else can say they’ve lived on Mars?

NASA is looking for four lucky people to spend a year living in a simulated version of the Red Planet, enduring its harsh conditions and limited resources as part of a research project.

The crew would be the second of three planned ground-based missions inside the 1,700-square-foot Mars simulation called CHAPEA [Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog], following the inaugural team who are halfway through the first journey.

The 3-D printed planet — called Mars Dune Alpha — is located at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, but is designed to feel worlds away, NASA said in its open call titled “Martians wanted.”

The crew will be locked inside the habitat for roughly 365 days and expected to carry out “mission activities,” like collecting geological samples, exercising, and practicing personal hygiene and health care. New York School Turns to United Nations to Teach 5th Graders About ‘Equity’

A group of middle schoolers in New York were taught about “equity” versus “equality” using resources from the United Nations, according to lesson plans obtained by a parental rights group.

Fifth graders from Herricks Middle School in Long Island were instructed on the differences between equity and equality while on a field trip to Herricks High School in December. The lesson was heavily based on materials from the U.N., according to a document obtained by Parents Defending Education and shared with The Daily Wire.

“The theme of Educational Equity is taken from the [U.N. Sustainable Development Goal 4] in providing educational equity across the developing world,” a document from the school with links to U.N. resources said. “Using the goals of the UN to evaluate the steps thus far to achieve their goals the following research was explored for students to create their own projects to showcase what is being done across the developing world to meet the UN goals and how the UN is supporting the achievement of those goals.”

Parents Defending Education obtained the document after it filed a public records request for documents on the lesson after the school posted on its Facebook page that some fifth-grade students had learned about the difference between equity and equality while on a trip to the high school.

While some of the materials address the plight of education in places like Africa, the concept of equity in education has been utilized by some teachers to push politically charged activism in the classroom. As highlighted by Parents Defending Education, one of the aims of the U.N.’s sustainable development goal four is to promote “global citizenship education” around the world, and many of the materials focus on climate change. State’s First Safe Haven Baby Box Welcomes Second Infant

Alabama’s Safe Haven Baby Box in Madison is celebrating its second successful surrender of an infant. The City of Madison revealed the recent development, highlighting the crucial role these specialized baby boxes play in providing a secure and legal avenue for parents to surrender newborns they feel unable to care for.

Madison Fire and Rescue, overseeing the baby box at Fire Station #1, received the newborn, who was promptly assessed and transported to Madison Hospital for thorough evaluation. The Alabama Department of Human Resources has been notified, ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.

The introduction of baby boxes aims to dissuade parents from abandoning infants, offering a temperature-controlled and secure space often integrated into the exterior walls of fire stations, police stations, and hospitals. Accessible from inside, these boxes provide a safe environment for at-risk mothers to place their newborns anonymously. Once the baby is inside, the box locks, triggering an alarm that alerts first responders or hospital staff.

Following the surrender, the infant undergoes a wellness check at a hospital, entering state custody with the potential for swift adoption. The implementation of baby boxes in Alabama, driven by the advocacy of Kids to Love, gained legislative support in 2023. The bill not only permitted the installation of baby boxes but also extended the state’s Safe Haven law, allowing mothers to surrender their child within 45 days instead of the previous 72-hour limit.

This positive development in Madison sets a precedent for upcoming baby boxes in Prattville, Gadsden, Tuscaloosa, and Opelika, further expanding the initiative to protect vulnerable newborns across the state.

$113.4B vs. $37.8B: Congress Spent 3 Times as Much on Ukraine as on Customs and Border Protection

From February 2022 to December 2023, Congress appropriated about three times as much money for its response to the conflict in Ukraine as the federal government spent on Customs and Border Protection.

Congress approved approximately $113.4 billion in spending related to Ukraine conflict during that period, while the government spent only $37.82 billion on Customs and Border Protection.

“The U.S. Congress appropriated approximately $113.4 billion in supplemental appropriations for the U.S. response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine between February 2022 and December 2023, making the United States the largest single donor of assistance to Ukraine response,” said a report published Feb. 15 by the inspectors general for the Department of Defense, the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

“This funding,” said the report, “supports security assistance for NATO and other partner nations; support for an enhanced U.S. military presence and activity in Europe; and the replenishment of U.S. military stocks transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).”

“The funding,” it said, “also supports security, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and other countries affected by the war; support for the operations of U.S. government agencies involved in Ukraine response.” (Read more from “$113.4B vs. $37.8B: Congress Spent 3 Times as Much on Ukraine as on Customs and Border Protection” HERE)

‘I’m Not Doing That’: DeSantis Definitively Rules Out Rumored Next Political Move On Private Call

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) shot down calls for him to become former President Donald Trump’s vice president after his name was floated for the position.

In a private call with supporters obtained by the Washington Examiner, DeSantis shared his thoughts on the 2024 race as well as his political future. When asked who he believed would be the best Republican vice president, the Florida governor took the opportunity to swat down calls for him to be Trump’s running mate.

“People were mentioning me,” DeSantis said. “I am not doing that.”

Directly answering the question, DeSantis didn’t give any names but derisively said there are plenty of candidates “auditioning” for the role.

“I know some people are really actively seeking it. It seems to me, just from watching kind of the body language and stuff, that you have a handful of folks who seem to be auditioning for it,” he said. Joe Biden’s Brother Switched up Story on China Deal After Lawmakers Showed Him Receipts, Source Says

James Biden altered his story during a closed-door interview with lawmakers on Wednesday after congressional investigators presented him with evidence directly contradicting his claims, according to a source familiar with the interview.

Joe Biden’s younger brother, in closed-door testimony to the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees, initially told his interviewers that he was not part of a business deal involving Hunter Biden and several of his associates, according to a source familiar with the interview. However, after investigators showed him an agreement that featured his signature alongside those of Hunter Biden and his business partners ,James Biden then told legislators that he did not remember signing the agreement.

The deal in question was a proposed joint venture involving an entity known as SinoHawk and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-tied CEFC China Energy Limited energy firm, according to a source familiar with the interview.

Fifty percent of SinoHawk was to be owned by Hudson West IV — an entity nominally managed by CEFC “emissary” and Joe Biden “office mate” Gongwen Dong — with the other 50% to be owned by Oneida Holdings LLC, an entity composed of LLCs controlled by Hunter Biden, James Biden, Rob Walker, James Gilliar and Tony Bobulinski, according to Bobulinski’s Feb. 13 testimony to congressional investigators and documents obtained by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The president’s younger brother also stated that he threw out a diamond that Hunter Biden had given him to appraise, according to a source familiar with James Biden’s interview. That diamond had initially been given to Hunter Biden by CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming, presumably to woo Hunter Biden to engage in business with CEFC, according to the source.

Forget Basement Campaign — It’s Been a Whole Basement Presidency for Joe Biden

Critics of President Joe Biden have begun dusting off the “basement campaign” allegation now that the 2024 election cycle is in full-swing, but a low-profile, press-free campaign would fall right in line with how Biden has conducted his entire presidency.

During Biden’s run for president in 2020, the now 81-year-old was criticized for running a “basement campaign” as he often stayed in his home studio for media appearances and had limited, low-attendance rallies. Now, as the 2024 election approaches, similar critiques are bubbling after Biden ducked out on a traditional end of year press conference and opted out of a prime-time Super Bowl interview.

Going on his fourth year in office, Biden is averaging about 11 press conferences a year, according to data compiled by the University of California at Santa Barbara’s American Presidency Project. Biden’s average is the lowest since former President Ronald Reagan, who held office from 1981 to 1989, and averaged 5.8 press conferences per year.

The parallel between Biden and Reagan is not a coincidence, historian Barbara Perry, co-chair of the Presidential Oral History Program at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center, told the Daily Caller.

“I think it’s more than coincidental that you have these two presidents with an aging factor. And I don’t mean to say that he’s non compos mentis and he’s going down. I’m not saying that at all. I’m just saying I do think it’s more than coincidental that oftentimes as these presidents get older, they want to do these kinds of pressers less. Prior to that would be the third and most elderly president was Eisenhower, who was well known for having trouble with his syntax,” Perry told the Daily Caller. Biden’s Support for ‘Three-Trimester’ Abortions Explains Why His DOJ Won’t Probe Death of Five Babies

Last week, in a bombshell press conference led by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, and Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., lawmakers and pro-life activists demanded justice for the “D.C. Five.” After two years, the bodies of five babies who may have succumbed to infanticide by a D.C. abortionist have yet to be autopsied or investigated. There’s a renewed urgency now because President Biden’s administration recently weighed in, telling the D.C. medical examiner that they have no need for these children’s bodies, which would end any investigation into potential federal abortion crimes.

Why would the Biden administration reportedly put its thumb on the scales here?

Well, judging by Biden’s 2024 presidential campaign, if there’s one thing he’s proving to love more than Matlock, it’s late-term abortion. So much so that he’s making abortion a centerpiece of his 2024 campaign. He just kicked off an abortions-around-America tour, and now he’s allegedly involved in this potential federal abortion scandal.

This is a case so gruesome that when members of Congress displayed the photo evidence of the potential crime, there were audible gasps in the expansive hearing room.

That’s because the “evidence” was photos of the brutalized bodies of five late-term aborted children. These were fully identifiable babies out of the womb, now known as the “D.C. Five.” Or as the National Abortion Federation called the intact babies, “post-abortion tissue.” (Read more from “Biden’s Support for ‘Three-Trimester’ Abortions Explains Why His DOJ Won’t Probe Death of Five Babies” HERE)

Charges Filed Against Two Adults in Connection to Kansas City Chiefs Parade Shooting; Alleged Shooter Told Cops He Was ‘Just Being Stupid’: Court Docs

In a recent development, two adults have been charged in connection to the tragic shooting that took place during the Kansas City Chiefs celebratory parade on February 15, 2024. The incident left one person dead and over 20 others injured. According to reports from the Associated Press, Dominic Miller and Lyndell Mays, along with several others, are alleged to have drawn guns following a dispute during the parade.

Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker revealed that Mays was the first to pull his handgun, triggering a chain of events that led to the fatal shooting. The bullet that claimed the life of radio host Lisa Lopez-Galvan is believed to have come from Miller’s gun. Both Miller and Mays are now facing charges of second-degree murder in connection to the incident.

This update follows the previous announcement that two juveniles were charged in connection to the same shooting, facing charges related to firearms and resisting arrest. Additional charges are expected as the investigation by the Kansas City Police Department continues, according to a news release from the Jackson County Family Court. The authorities are actively working to bring all individuals involved in the incident to justice [via Associated Press]:

Two men charged with murder in last week’s shooting after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade were strangers who pulled out guns and began firing within seconds of starting an argument, according to court documents released Tuesday.

Missouri prosecutors said at a news conference that Lyndell Mays, of Raytown, Missouri, and Dominic Miller, of Kansas City, Missouri, have been charged with second-degree murder and several weapons counts in the shooting that left one person dead and roughly two dozen others injured.

Both men were shot during the melee, according to probable cause affidavits. Both have been hospitalized since, Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said during a news conference.

Alleged Kansas City Chiefs Parade Shooter Told Cops He Was ‘Just Being Stupid’: Court Docs

By New York Post. One of the alleged shooters who opened fire at the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade told investigators he was “just being stupid” when he “advanced” on another group of individuals he had been arguing with before the deadly melee.

Court documents obtained Tuesday provided more details on how a Super Bowl celebration quickly devolved into chaos and an exchange of gunfire that led to murder charges against Dominic Miller, 18, and 23-year-old Lyndell Mays.

Both men, armed with guns, got into an argument before the shooting unfolded among thousands of revelers, prosecutors alleged Tuesday. A female friend of Mays told police the opposing group of several individuals wanted to know why Mays was looking at them, court papers said.

Mays, who was at the parade with two friends, started jawing with the group, according to a probable cause statement obtained by The Post. Mays was seen on surveillance footage approaching the group in an “aggressive” manner and later pointing his finger at them, the court docs said.

When Mays pulled his gun, he started to chase an unknown individual who appeared unarmed and shot at him, resulting in others drawing their guns, according to the legal papers. (Read more from “Alleged Kansas City Chiefs Parade Shooter Told Cops He Was ‘Just Being Stupid’: Court Docs” HERE)
