Holocaust Museum Condemns Gov. Tim Walz’s Comments Comparing Minnesota Children to Anne Frank: ‘Deeply Offensive’

The U.S. Holocaust Museum shared a statement in reaction to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz comparing the experience of children in Minnesota to that of Holocaust victim Anne Frank.

Walz, 61, made the comparison in a press conference held on Sunday, Jan. 25, following the fatal shooting of ICU nurse Alex Pretti by federal officers.

“We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside. Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank,” Walz said towards the end of the press conference. “Somebody’s going to write that children’s story about Minnesota.”

Anne Frank died at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp at age 15 after spending two years in hiding, one of six million Jews murdered by the Nazis in the Holocaust.

“Anne Frank was targeted and murdered solely because she was Jewish,” the museum wrote in a statement shared on X on Monday, Jan. 26. “Leaders making false equivalencies to her experience for political purposes is never acceptable. Despite tensions in Minneapolis, exploiting the Holocaust is deeply offensive, especially as antisemitism surges.”

Ed Department: California Violated Family Rights Law By Secretly ‘Transitioning’ Students

The U.S. Department of Education found the California Department of Education (CDE) in violation of federal family rights law on Wednesday for facilitating the gender “transition” of children and hiding it from their parents.

California pressured school districts across the state to violate the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a student privacy and parental rights law, by forcing them to conceal student records from parents about their child’s so-called “gender transition,” according to a senior department official detailing the results of an investigation Wednesday.

“FERPA requires that schools provide access to all education records upon a parent’s request. Schools do not get to choose which records they feel like providing to parents and which ones they don’t,” the official said. “As Secretary McMahon stated last year, this is not only patently unlawful, but morally reprehensible. Children do not belong to the state. They belong to their parents. Parents must know about the most sensitive information pertaining to their child’s health and well-being.”

A Student Privacy Policy Office (SPPO) investigation found that at least 300 students in California were put on “‘gender support plans,’ many without parental consent or knowledge.” At CDE’s direction, school officials placed the “support plans” in “separate filing systems” to keep parents in the dark about the plans.

As The Federalist reported, school personnel are often some of the first and most influential people a student interacts with regarding confusion about sex and “gender,” and many push children toward “social transition” like name and pronoun changes, which often leads to destructive medical interventions. Hazmat Crew Reveals What Liquid Attacker Sprayed on Rep. Ilhan Omar: Report

The “foul” mystery brownish liquid US Rep. Ilhan Omar was sprayed with during a chaotic Minnesota town hall meeting late Tuesday is believed to have been apple cider vinegar.

Omar (D-Minn.) was hit with the kitchen staple when 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak allegedly stormed the podium as the lefty congresswoman was firing off an anti-ICE spiel, Alpha News reported, citing sources.

A hazmat team confirmed, too, that the syringe Kazmierczak allegedly used in the attack was filled with the vinegary substance, the outlet added.

Minneapolis Council Member LaTrisha Vetaw, who ended up being hit by some of the liquid, told The Post the stench was so bad she vomited.

“It smelled like vinegar or ammonia,” Vetaw said, adding that the odor was “overwhelming.” (Read more from “Hazmat Crew Reveals What Liquid Attacker Sprayed on Rep. Ilhan Omar: Report” HERE)

Costco Accused of Deceiving Shoppers Over Popular $5 Rotisserie Chickens

Some Costco customers are crying fowl over the big-box chain’s popular $4.99 rotisserie chickens, saying they contain preservatives in spite of the company’s claims to the contrary, according to a new lawsuit.

Two California-based people say Costco “has systematically cheated” consumers “out of tens — if not hundreds — of millions of dollars” by advertising the poultry as being free of preservatives.

The class-action lawsuit, filed last week in San Diego federal court, alleges that Costco makes the claim despite the fact that the rotisserie chickens contain sodium phosphate and carrageenan.

Costco is also being accused of capitalizing on growing consumer demand for “clean label” and preservative-free products.

By marketing the chicken as a healthy option, the company allegedly induced millions of shoppers to purchase a product they would have otherwise avoided — all while concealing the true nature of the ingredients, it was alleged.

A spokesperson for Costco told The Post: “To maintain consistency among the labeling on our rotisserie chickens and the signs in our warehouses/on-line presentations, we have removed statements concerning preservatives from the signs and on-line presentations.” (Read more from “Costco Accused of Deceiving Shoppers Over Popular $5 Rotisserie Chickens” HERE)

Eating This Healthy Breakfast for Just Two Days Can Lower Your Cholesterol: Study

A powerful tool for your heart might already be hiding in the back of your pantry.

New research suggests that a short-term diet centered almost exclusively on a cheap, healthy breakfast staple can significantly lower cholesterol levels in just two days. . .

For the study, researchers at the University of Bonn in Germany recruited 32 men and women.

All the participants suffered from metabolic syndrome, a cluster of risk factors including excess body weight, high blood pressure and elevated blood glucose and blood lipid levels. Together, these problems raise the risk of heart disease and Type 2 diabetes.

The researchers split the participants into two groups, with one instructed to eat oatmeal three times a day for two days. The oats were boiled in water, with the addition of small amounts of fruit or vegetables allowed.

In all, these participants ate about 300 grams of oatmeal per day and consumed roughly half their usual calories. (Read more from “Eating This Healthy Breakfast for Just Two Days Can Lower Your Cholesterol: Study” HERE)

Anti-ICE Protestors Arrested by the Dozens After Taking Over New York City Hotel Lobby

Police on Tuesday arrested dozens of anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protestors after the protest took over a New York City hotel lobby and obstructed pedestrian traffic.

The New York City Police Department responded to protestors entering the Hilton Garden Inn on Sixth Avenue in the Tribeca neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, New York City.

Sunrise Movement, an activist leftist group, claimed that the hotel housed ICE officials.

The Sunrise Movement wrote, “BREAKING: 65+ New Yorkers have been arrested for occupying the lobby of a Hilton in NYC that’s housing ICE. Everyday people have the power to shut down ICE’s ability to operate. We are making it impossible for ICE to get a moment’s rest.”

The organization also shared a post on X that stated, “BREAKING: 100+ New Yorkers have taken over the lobby of a Hilton housing ICE agents. We won’t stand for a company that aids a fascist military killing and abducting our neighbors.”

Gavin Newsom Ignored Calls to Help Girl, 5, Left With Half a Skull in Crash Caused by Illegal Alien, Dad Says

The heartbroken father of a 5-year-old girl who suffered life-altering injuries in a multi-vehicle pileup caused by an illegal-immigrant truck driver says Gov. Gavin Newsom has stonewalled the family’s desperate calls for help.

Dalilah Coleman, now 7, was left nonverbal and is relearning how to walk after her family vehicle was srtuck in a 2024 wreck by an 18-wheeler driven by Partap Singh, an illegal immigrant from India.

Singh, who had been given a commercial driver’s license by the state despite his immigration status, was speeding through a construction zone and failed to stop his truck for traffic, leading to the horrifying crash, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“When Dalilah’s accident first happened, I reached out to the governor’s office, via phone as well as email. I received nothing back at all,” Marcus Coleman said on Fox News’ “The Will Cain Show.”

Singh entered the country illegally through the southern border in October 2022 but was released by the Biden administration. He was rearrested by ICE in August 2025 to face deportation proceedings. Police Surrender Entire City Blocks To Lawless Rioters In Minneapolis

Local and state police allowed rioters to block roads and attack a hotel during demonstrations against immigration enforcement.

The Daily Caller News Foundation saw protesters block streets with objects on Saturday and crowd a block outside a hotel on Sunday and vandalize it with little law enforcement response for hours. Federal officials have publicly criticized what they see as a lack of local help in quelling the unrest, which escalated after immigration agents fatally shot two activists accused of impeding their operations on Jan. 7 and Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) arrested three protesters on Friday at the Whipple Building in Minneapolis for alleged obstruction of legal process, unlawful assembly and public nuisance, an MSP spokesperson told the DCNF. They were released with citations. The agency also arrested one person on a riot charge in the area of 26th Street and Lyndale Avenue on Saturday.

The MSP did not report any other protest-related arrests in comments to the DCNF despite the barricades on Saturday and Sunday and the hotel riot. The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) and Minnesota’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.

The DCNF observed the crowd protesting at the hotel for more than two hours while blocking the road with debris. The MSP and DNR was about to “encircle the group for arrests,” but “federal agents arrived without communication and deployed chemical irritants, clearing the group,” the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) said in an X post.

They’re Scattering: Anti-ICE Leftists Consider Fleeing Country After Signal Chat Got Exposed

They got exposed, but that doesn’t mean they’ve gone away or stopped. They’re a roach infestation. These leftists in Minneapolis, causing mayhem for our law enforcement, had their secret Anti-ICE chat on Signal exposed, but new ones have been established, and the older ones nuked from existence.

Still, the chats revealed a coordinated system from which these psychopaths could engage in targeted harassment and assault of federal law enforcement. Reporter Cam Higby dropped this nuke over the weekend, and now they’re scattering. Some said they’re fleeing the country and going to Cuba, which was amusing:

Here are some of the contents from the initial story Higby dropped over the weekend. RedState broke down the mayhem even further, diving into the funding and who was on it. We know that ‘Flan,’ the alleged codename for Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, was part of this chat, along with Alex Pretti, the latest leftist shot and killed by immigration officers, which led to the second wave of lefty mayhem in the city. Pretti was carrying a firearm, though he didn’t have his proper ID with him*, at this protest, but things went awry, and he was killed. Again, interfering with federal law enforcement operations will lead to dire consequences for the agitator. The Left claims this was another execution. The bodycams from the Border Patrol agents involved are being analyzed.

Other state Democrats were listed, too, which probably explains why Gov. Tim Walz said he’s open to cooperating with Trump officials on this matter and immigration enforcement. Members of the media, including NPR reporters, are listed in the chat, along with former Walz political operatives:

Here Are The Republicans Questioning ICE In Minnesota

A growing number of Republican lawmakers are questioning the continued federal law enforcement presence in Minnesota following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti.

In the days after Pretti’s death, and the release of additional video footage, several Republicans have called for a deeper investigation into the shooting.

Republican House Homeland Security Committee Chairman and New York Rep. Andrew Garbarino formally requested that leaders from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) testify before the committee, renewing calls for oversight and accountability of federal immigration agencies.

Republican Washington Rep. Michael Baumgartner praised Garbarino’s move, writing in post on X that it’s important “the American people and Congress be given a better understanding of how immigration enforcement is being handled.”

House Oversight GOP Chairman James Comer further suggested in an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” that President Donald Trump should consider repositioning federal agents if tensions escalate. . .

Other GOP lawmakers including Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski and North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis called for independent probes into the shooting, with Cassidy arguing ICE and the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) credibility are “at stake.” (Read more from “Here Are The Republicans Questioning ICE In Minnesota” HERE)
