Trump ‘Amazed’ Gavin Newsom’s Running for President — and Issues Withering Two-Word Putdown

President Trump is stunned that Gov. Gavin Newsom is considering running for the White House, noting how badly the Golden State is being run under the “incompetent” Democrat’s leadership.

“I’m amazed Gavin wants to run for office,” Trump told The California Post Friday in an Oval Office interview after his administration sued California over sanctuary policies, accused the state of fraud and clawed back federal funding. . .

“People love the dream of California, but they hate what’s happening to them,” Trump said.

The state needs “proper leadership,” he said, arguing they are not getting it with their current governor.

“Gavin’s incompetent,” he said. (Read more from “Trump ‘Amazed’ Gavin Newsom’s Running for President — and Issues Withering Two-Word Putdown” HERE)

‘MAGA MAGGOTS’: Guns, Body Armor, Ammo, Palestinian Flag Found at Home of Man Accused of Threatening to Murder ICE Agents

Democrats and the liberal media have been working overtime to vilify and dehumanize the men and women of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

This demonization campaign — which opened a new front Sunday with the mob action against Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota — has coincided with unprecedented spikes in assaults and death threats against ICE agents.

The growing left-wing animus is not, however, going unanswered.

Two men were charged in separate cases this week for allegedly threatening to murder ICE agents.

Justin Mesael Novoa, 21, of Columbus, Ohio, was federally charged Thursday with making threatening interstate communications. Novoa apparently has been stewing for months, allegedly issuing threats on X which were brought to the attention of Homeland Security Investigations. The Supreme Court Can Protect Families or Protect Corporate Cover-Ups

When you get pregnant, doctors warn you to avoid everything from coffee to deli meat. When you build a home — as a spouse, parent, or homeowner — you make careful choices about what comes through the front door, onto your table, and into your yard.

But what if those precautions don’t matter? What if the food you serve, the lawn your kids play on, or the weeds you spray carry a poison approved through fraud, sold without warnings, and protected from accountability by the Supreme Court?

That isn’t paranoia. It’s the situation Americans may soon face.

The Supreme Court last week agreed to hear Monsanto Co. v. Durnell, a case pushed aggressively by Bayer, the German pharmaceutical giant that bought Monsanto in 2018. The justices will decide one narrow but decisive question this term: Does federal pesticide law block state failure-to-warn lawsuits when the Environmental Protection Agency has not required a cancer warning on the label?

Bayer wants the answer to be yes. It wants federal pre-emption — a legal shield that turns an EPA-approved label into immunity. If Bayer wins, state juries could lose the ability to hold companies accountable even when families prove they used a product as directed, got sick, and never received a warning. Chaos Erupts in Minneapolis After Border Patrol Shooting as Crowds Clash With Federal Agents

Chaos exploded across a South Minneapolis community on Saturday after a Border Patrol agent‑involved shooting. Large crowds surged into the streets, swarmed federal personnel, and clashed with agents attempting to secure the scene. What began as a rapid gathering of onlookers quickly devolved into a volatile confrontation, with agitators blocking roads, surrounding vehicles, and forcing federal officers into defensive positions amid a fast‑escalating wave of unrest.

A video posted on social media by Gunther Eagleman shows the out-of-control crowds attempting to clash with ICE and Border Patrol agents. The video shows federal agents deploying tear gas to push back the crowd. “This is exactly why the Insurrection Act needs to be invoked!” Engleman stated.

DHS officials report that nearly 200 rioters quickly arrived at the scene and began to obstruct and assault law enforcement officers and agents who were attempting to conduct an investigation into the shooting. . .

At least one anti-ICE agitator appears to have suffered a broken leg during the ensuing skirmish. A video by Cam Higby shows agents loading the injured rioter into a pickup truck to take him to safety.

Top Federal Prosecutors ‘Crushed’ by Epstein Files Workload

By Politico. The premier federal prosecutors’ office in the country is consumed by the task of reviewing files related to Jeffrey Epstein, according to four people familiar with the matter and internal memos obtained by POLITICO.

Virtually every prosecutor in the Southern District of New York who isn’t handling an imminent or ongoing trial — including some who are working on other major cases — has been tasked with helping to review more than two million files to redact information about Epstein’s sex-trafficking victims. Even the high-ranking executive staff and unit chiefs are poring over the documents, often working weekends.

Prosecutors are being “crushed by the work,” said one person familiar with the matter, who, like others quoted in this article, was granted anonymity to discuss internal processes. And while people in the office hope the task will take no longer than a few more weeks, no one is really sure when it will be completed.

The scale of the review has raised questions about whether the task is stretching prosecutors too thin and pushing other work to the back burner in an office that regularly handles some of the country’s most important white-collar, terrorism and financial crimes cases.

Even several of the prosecutors working on the narco-terrorism and drug trafficking case against deposed Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, perhaps the most prominent prosecution in the justice system at the moment, are also assigned to work on the Epstein documents, according to a person familiar with the matter. What else can be done to force Trump’s DoJ to release all the Epstein files? Legal experts weigh in

By The Guardian. For months, the 2025 news cycle was dominated by the disgraced financier and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Public outrage over the continued secrecy surrounding Epstein investigative files – which Donald Trump failed to release fully early in his second term, despite campaign promises – was growing.

Federal lawmakers took matters into their own hands: they issued a spate of subpoenas related to the late child sex trafficker, releasing batches of files that renewed attention to his connections to high-profile individuals on both sides of the political spectrum. Congress ultimately passed legislation mandating that the Department of Justice release these files by 19 December, with Trump signing this bill into law.

But that deadline came and went, with Trump’s justice department making a mere fraction of the total disclosures required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA). These scant releases have so far failed to lift the veil on how Epstein operated with impunity for years.

Now, the big Epstein-related news is that there is no major Epstein news. Nothing has happened of late that has meaningfully moved the needle toward transparency for victims and advocates, renewing questions about what comes next. Releases of new documents have ceased in recent weeks. (Read more from “What else can be done to force Trump’s DoJ to release all the Epstein files? Legal experts weigh in” HERE)

JD Vance Addresses ‘Elephant In The Room’ At March For Life

Vice President JD Vance responded to the “elephant in the room” at the March for Life on Friday, concerns that not enough political progress is being made on the pro-life issue.

While the Trump administration has implemented policies that restrict taxpayer funding for abortion and pardoned pro-life activists targeted by the Biden administration, pro-life activists are still waiting on some of their biggest asks, like reinstating restrictions on the abortion pill.

“I want you to know that I hear you, and that I understand there will inevitably be debates within this movement,” Vance said. “We love each other, and we’re going to have open conversations about how best to use our political system to advance life, how prudential we must be in the cause of advancing human life. I think these are good, honest and natural debates. And frankly, they’re not just good for all of you. They help keep people like me honest, and that’s an important thing.”

Vance urged pro-lifers to remember the progress that has already been made in the last decade, namely the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

“I look at this crowd and I see young people for whom Dobbs is the only world they’ve ever known,” Vance said. (Read more from “JD Vance Addresses ‘Elephant In The Room’ At March For Life” HERE)

Trump Reveals Secret ‘Discombobulator’ Weapon Was Crucial to Venezuelan Raid, Capture of Maduro

President Trump told The Post that a secret new weapon he calls “The Discombobulator” was essential to the daring US raid that captured Venezuela’s drug-dealing dictator Nicolas Maduro.

Trump boasted that the mysterious weapon “made [enemy] equipment not work” when US helicopters swooped into Caracas on Jan. 3 to arrest Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, on federal drug and weapons charges — without losing a single American life.

“The Discombobulator. I’m not allowed to talk about it,” Trump said during an exclusive interview in the Oval Office.

“I would love to,” the president added, before confirming its use in the stealth operation.

“They never got their rockets off. They had Russian and Chinese rockets, and they never got one off. We came in, they pressed buttons and nothing worked. They were all set for us.”

Trump commented on the weapon when asked about reports this week that the Biden administration purchased a pulsed energy weapon suspected of being the type that caused “Havana Syndrome.” (Read more from “Trump Reveals Secret ‘Discombobulator’ Weapon Was Crucial to Venezuelan Raid, Capture of Maduro” HERE)

Trump Tells Europe To Put Its Big Boy Pants On

Every year, world leaders and world leader wannabes gather in Davos to congratulate themselves on their commitment to globalization, or shutting down coal plants, or anti-racism, or whatever.

The Davos summit is the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), a think tank founded by Klaus Schwab. Davos claims it is “committed to improving the state of the world.” Certainly, European WEF members would like to think they’re improving the state of the world — even as they plunge their native countries into crisis.

President Donald Trump has interrupted the self-indulgent theatrics with typical Trump panache.

The Washington Examiner’s chief political correspondent, Byron York, summarized Trump’s message to Europe in four points.

In the first place, “Trump told Europe: You’re killing yourself with mass migration. Stop.” Migration remains a top issue for European leaders and voters, with countries competing to take less migrants than their neighbors.

In the second place, Trump told the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), “You’ve got to spend more on your own defense.” (Read more from “Trump Tells Europe To Put Its Big Boy Pants On” HERE)

Judges Reject DOJ Request to Detain Leftist Protesters Accused of Invading Minnesota Church

Two judges blocked requests from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to detain three of the leftist protesters accused of invading a Minnesota church.

According to NBC News, U.S. District Judge Laura M. Provinzino issued an order regarding Nekima Valdez Levy-Armstrong and Chauntyll Louisa Allen, while a “federal magistrate judge” ordered William Scott Kelly, another protester, be released.

Judge Provinzino claimed that DOJ lawyers did not “demonstrate that a detention hearing is warranted, or that detention is otherwise appropriate.”:

U.S. District Judge Laura M. Provinzino wrote in her order for two of the protesters, Nekima Valdez Levy-Armstrong and Chauntyll Louisa Allen, that Justice Department lawyers failed to “demonstrate that a detention hearing is warranted, or that detention is otherwise appropriate.”

The judge found the Trump administration offered “no factual or legal support” to support their contention that this was a “crime of violence.” The third protester, William Scott Kelly, was separately ordered released by a federal magistrate judge.

Armstrong, Allen, and Kelly were charged by criminal complaint in a case that involves an unknown number of defendants. Because not all the defendants are in custody, the criminal affidavit, a sworn statement by an officer used to establish cause for an arrest, is redacted. The case cites the FACE Act, a federal statute that has historically been used to protect reproductive facilities, but also contains provisions that cover houses of worship.

Jack Smith Makes Four Big Admissions In Fiery Public Hearing

By Daily Caller. Former special counsel Jack Smith made major admissions during his public testimony Thursday, including about former Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s credibility as a witness.

Republicans grilled Smith on everything from search warrants he obtained for members of Congress’ phone records to his litigation decisions, while Democrats told Smith he did “everything right.”

Smith secured two indictments charging President Donald Trump for alleged interference in the 2020 election and for alleged mishandling of classified documents. Despite his best efforts to secure a trial before the election, he was forced to drop both cases after Trump won in 2024.

“If asked whether to prosecute a former president based on the same facts today, I would do so regardless of whether that president was a Democrat or a Republican,” Smith said. “No one should be above the law in this country and the law required that he [Trump] be held to account.”

1. Cassidy Hutchinson wasn’t ruled out as a witness.

Smith admitted both on Thursday and in prior closed-door deposition that elements of Hutchinson’s testimony were based on “hearsay.” Hutchinson, a key witness for the Jan. 6 committee, claimed Trump lunged to grab the steering wheel of his presidential vehicle on Jan. 6 to redirect it the Capitol. J6 Cop Coughs ‘Go F*ck Yourself’ To Republican Congressman During Jack Smith Hearing

By Daily Caller. Former Metropolitan Police Department officer Mike Fanone coughed “go f**k yourself” during a Thursday hearing where former special counsel Jack Smith testified.

Smith appeared before the House Judiciary Committee for roughly five hours and defended his prosecutions of President Donald Trump. During questioning, Republican Texas Rep. Troy Nehls blamed U.S. Capitol Police leadership for the Jan. 6, 2021, riot, prompting Fanone’s outburst.

“I would like to quickly address the police officers of January 6th — Mr. [Harry] Dunn, Mr. Fanone, Mr. [Aquilino] Gonell, Mr. [Daniel] Hodges, I’m a member of the new select committee to actually examine what happened that day,” Nehls said. “And I can tell you, gentlemen, that the fault does not lie with Donald Trump. It lies with Yogananda Pittman and the U.S. Capitol leadership team.”

Fanone then interrupted to cough, “go f**k yourself.”

“We know the Capitol leadership team, specifically Yogananda Pittman, had the intelligence, and there was going to be a high propensity for violence,” Nehls added after the disruption. (Read more from “J6 Cop Coughs ‘Go F*ck Yourself’ To Republican Congressman During Jack Smith Hearing” HERE)
